Riu Flamingos: Wonderful Family Vacation!

Our stay at Riu Jalisco was fantastic! The resort is beautifully maintained with lush gardens and a pristine beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and great views. The food was delicious and varied, with several dining options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The entertainment team did a great job keeping everyone engaged with fun activities and shows. Our kids especially loved the kids' cl [... read more]ub and the water park. Superb Resort for the money! Good Food! Daily evening events! Nice beach area! Nice people! Staff is helpful! Nice space to sit and relax! Neon and foam party weekly! City tour must try! Carry extra 200-300$ for sports

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Work in progress

This was our third time at this resort. It has gone down hill very quickly! The showers at the beach didn’t work so you were unable to rinse off creating massive amounts of sand throughout the resort and in the rooms. The whole place was under renovations so there was only one restaurant and one buffet available for the week we were there. The sports bar was also closed. Pools were very dirty (slime around the edges). Often you wouldn’t get a drink at the restaurant unless you were in one of th [... read more]e male waiters sections. Only received bar service on the beach one day. Even with tipping a lot service was lacking :(

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Needs work

We had fours rooms for a family vacation. Two rooms had to change rooms once and one room had to change rooms twice. There was water leaking, taps broken, restaurants closed, sports bar closed, and the power was out through most of the resort for a whole day.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Good Resort

This is a good resort with some exceptions. The grounds are pretty but the palms were in need of some TLC. There are not enough beach loungers and the umbrellas are in very poor condition. The ocean view rooms are very nice with good housekeeping service. This resort has one of the best buffet restaurants that we have experienced at all inclusive resorts, including 5 star resorts we've been to. Overall, I would recommend this resort.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Relaxing family vacation

The hotel is really clean. The beach is amazing. The food is tasty and has enough variety for the week. The specialty restaurants were especially enjoyable. Beware though that as of the first week of May they start scaling back on restaurant availability. As a large group we were worried about meals together , but the food staff was very accommodating to us and gave us amazing service. Having two pools was also nice as they have different atmospheres and weather ( kids pool has way le [... read more]ss wind). The drinks were tasty and the house wine was enjoyable. Housekeeping was a bit sporadic upon arrival but was remedied when asked about. They were also accommodating when we requested a new room as the room for my adult kids had no natural light, no balcony to speak of and was right up against the neighbouring hotel’s wall.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: IBEROSTAR

Amazing hotel,had beautiful grounds very well taken care of . The food was awesome lots of choices,fresh The staff were helpful and friendly.The rooms were clean and comfortable the maid service was fabulous We will go back

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fantastic Vacation!

This resort is very large but very well designed, with multiple pools & restaurants so we never felt crowded or had to wait for anything. The grounds are beautifully taken care of and the beach is beautiful! It was very wavy the week we were there so there wasn't much ocean swimming - but we did get to see dolphins a couple of mornings! The drinks and food were consistent and tasty. We ventured into town a few times and loved the experience. It was very walkable and we felt safe. I know one doesn't go on vacation to stay in the room but a few upgrades would improve the experience!

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Needs help

Lots of updating needed. Check in was good and reception staff quite friendly. Rooms in need of some TLC. Trollies being rolled up and down hallways over tiles all night and early morning. Food just ok. Coffee shop only uses small paper cups and plates. Ridiculous lineup every morning to get booking for restaurant and only one at a time. Unless you are there at 7 (and they won’t take bookings till 8am on the dot) you are unlikely to get much of a choice. Hardly any seating in lobby or bar area [... read more]. Nowhere comfortable to sit and have a quiet drink in evening. Rooftop bar plays music way to loud. I could go on but…….

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Wonderful experience

The resort is very picturesque and lovely. The staff were very welcoming and warm. Food was plentiful, varied and well prepared. The entertainment at the theatre and poolside was delightful and fun. All in all a wonderful trip.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great Resort

We spent a week at this resort in April. It is an older resort but very well maintained. Our room was very clean and we had hot showers at any time of the day. Alot of care goes into the beautiful grounds. We found something to eat at all the restaurants. The staff at this resort go above and beyond to make people happy. We loved our housekeeper, Marisa, in block 4. Such a kind and helpful lady. A beautiful bike path is close by. We definitely will go back.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Amazing Vacation

We’ve been to Mexico a few times and this is probably the best experience for us. The place is on the small side which we liked. It’s not crowded nor noisy, and there’s always available chairs by the pools. Grounds are well-kept. We loved the jacuzzis and the pools. Staff are happy people and always checked on us. Special shout out to Mario, Lorenzo, Dolly, Edgar, and Daniel. The place is awesome but it is the staff that makes it top notch! But for what they had, we loved the Italian restaurant; and the international, barbecue, and Spanish nights at the Mirador. Drinks are not watered down. Eliana from Trip Central is great! Jesus Duenas Ibarra, the Sunwing representative, is the guy you would want to sell you experiences. He’s honest, thoughtful with his words, and never pushy. We returned to Vallarta because of the clean beaches and gorgeous sunsets. But our experience at The Sunset Plaza gave us more than what we wished for. We like trying different places in Mexico but the Sunset is one that we would love to stay in again.

We absolutely loved this resort! We were looking for an inexpensive last-minute vacation when we booked this resort and reading some of the reviews, our expectations were low. Although the rooms are dated, they were very clean. The grounds are also kept extremely clean and manicured. The service was excellent in all areas. Shout out to Hamid at the beach bar and Erick at the buffet restaurant! The staff were friendly and happy. The food was very good with a good variety daily. The beach is  [... read more]amazing! We loved that despite the size of the resort, it didn't feel like it. Rarely did we have to wait in line for anything and could always find chairs on the beach. The resort's proximity to Bucerias was also a big plus! We are already planning our return trip next year!

This wasn’t my first stay at this resort and I always enjoy my time there. However, there was no pico de gallo this time. I was looking forward to the fresh pico and chips! The reservation system needs to be changed. The Al la carte restaurants are sold out within 5 minutes and if someone cancels there is no way to let’s others know. People reserve the chairs by putting their towels on them early in the morning and don’t show up for hours. The food is hit and miss but there was always something good. The Al la carts were great. I would go back again as I know what to expect but if you are looking for luxury this isn’t the place.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Great staff!!

We were here a year ago and the food has dropped a level. Its still good but not fantastic anymore, corners were cut. We stayed in the hacienda and it was really nice...and quiet. The pool area of the hacienda was a tranquil experience. Staff are very accommodating and so friendly.

Riu Vallarta: Very good resort

The grounds are very beautiful Lots of mature trees and bushes. The pools were clean and warm Food was excellent at the buffet and Al a cartes. Shout out to Abel the pool bartender was very friendly and would mix whatever you asked for. The rooms were a good size and clean but the air conditioning didn’t work that well . The only complaints was that there could be more washrooms for the people at the pools

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Best value for money

We have stayed at this resort 7 times now and one of our daughters was married here 8 years ago. We have also stayed at both Secrets several times and this resort is better value for the cost. This last time there were some cons compared to previous visits but also some pros. The Buffett was amazing and Luis the PR and the head chef and fellow staff were fantastic wanting to make it the best experience. No more reservations at the French or Steal House. The new pizzaria was excellent. The [... read more] steak house and french were not as good as previous visits. Downgraded menus and poor wait staff but the buffet staff made up for it. Isabel at breakfast and lunch was beyond expectations as well as Gustavo at dinner. Rooms are plain but comfortable beds and very clean. We love the beach and Antonio at the beach provides great service. No friendly bartenders or this trip but Myrna was great at the tiki bar. We will highly likely stay again.

The hotel was in need of some updating but overall was ok. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had lots of choices for places to eat at the resort and the food was good for the most part and plentiful. The fresh fruit was awesome. We discovered Oye Henry's Seafood grill right on the beach and we ate lunch there twice. We did the Sunset Cruise but unless you are looking for a "booze cruise" I wouldn't recommend it. I would say that if you are travelling with anyone with mobility issues you should maybe look at a smaller place; this complex is huge.

The Royal DeCameron is clean, staff is super friendly great location with lots of places to eat, prices are reasonable. Lots of activities on site or nearby. I appreciate the hard work and care all the staff puts into this hotel

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: ~~

Wasn’t the best resort we’ve been to, when we requested shampoo and towels they didn’t bring it up; had to request it a few times. The accommodations in the room were not that great. The WiFi doesn’t work in the bathroom, we had the door tag on for room service to clean our room and they didn’t, so we didn’t tip. Not the best experience
