Excellent Resort

We just love this resort, we find that the grounds are always well kept, the rooms are very clean, there is a good variety of restaurants and bars to entertain yourselves, the service from the staff is also very good they really love to take care of your needs to make sure your stay is enjoyable, the beach well that is a different story it is amazing, I have never been on a better beach and the beach staff well 100% to them , the are awesome. My best trip yet

This was a beautiful resort, I would recommend this piece of paradise. The grounds are kept very clean and beautiful all the staff were friendly, rooms were very nice and well kept. We have been to Cuba many many time and this was by far the best stay. We will return here for sure.

Great resort

The hotel grounds were beautiful. We had a week of sun. The beach went on forever, you could walk out into the water for meters. Sand was like powder on the beach. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, I stayed with omelettes in the morning and pasta at night. Drinks were very good. We went on the baseball tour into Santa Clair and it was the best, had a great time and the game was amazing!

Dream vacation!

The rooms are comfortable,the beach is breathtaking,the staff are very friendly and kind,large selection of food at the buffet,the ground is very clean and nice.I just wanna go back like already tomorrow!!!

Beautiful

Rooms were good food was okay, service was good. The beach was clean. Great off resort activities. After hours entertainment was boring, unless you like fashion shows and dancing with no crowd involvement.

Amazing beach!!

The resort is beautiful and clean, the beach is amazing, white sand and crystal clear. The staff are very accomodating, if you speak a little Spanish, it goes a long way, they appreciate your effort. The food was really good,you can always find something to eat! The grounds were well maintained, beautiful flowers and very clean. We would definitely go back!

Amazing resort

The staff was excellent the resort was clean and well kept the rooms were very spacious a bit outdated but very clean. The staff at this hotel made the week excellent very attentive to our needs. For cuba the food was good

Large, decent spread out, nice pools.

the public areas were nice, the pools were large and numerous. beach area was nice although diamond package not really worth it. the manager is wonderful - if any problems he is willing to help. our concerns did not go un addressed.

Ok resort

Accommodations were ok but the food wasn't great. Too many people for the selection offered in the buffet. They need another buffet for the size of this resort. The resort was clean and everyone worked really hard to accommodate you. We travelled with our kids. The entertainment group do lots of activities with the kids to get them involved.

Mediocre

We brought our 2 adult children along with us and we had to change rooms our first night due to cockroaches in one room and the bathroom door in the other room would not close. The food was awful and most of the time the service was terrible! The front desk was useless. It was our first and last time to Cuba. Due to the time of year we went the price was too high for what we received!

Very good!!

Hotel not a 5*. Food repetitive, not much variety! Service courteous. Beach breathtaking!!! Found the bus ride too long. Would not go back to this hotel. Resort very big, we prefer smaller ones. Go for the beach!!

Amazing beach

You can't argue that Cayo Santa Maria has one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean's, white sand, crystal clear turquoise water. I would go back just for the beach and ocean. The rooms were sub standard, we had an ant infestation. I had brought bug spray which helped. The maid did clean the room every day and did a good job. The food was okay, not much variety, I could see myself getting tired of the food after 2 weeks.

Amazing resort!

I've been to this resort 3 times so far. Over the few years the food selection has improved a lot. We never went hungry. Adding the Japanese a la carte was a great idea. The food there is amazing. The rooms are very clean and well kept. The beach is the best one I've been too. Super soft white sand, crystal clear ocean. The beach service is great. The staff in all areas are super friendly. Nemesio the manager worked manic for my mothers birthday surprise and we are truly greatful. I cannot wait  [... read more]to return to This resort again this fall.
