Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Great, clean resort!

It was very clean and well maintained, only complaint was we had booked a room with two beds and only had one. Since I was going with a friend this was inconvenient but we managed with king bed. I would have booked elsewhere if this had been known before trip.

Had a little bit of a disappointment when we first got there only one bed in the room and they had no other rooms available so we had to share a bed thank God it was a king size if had known there was only going to be one bed when we booked two wouldn't have chosen that resort now we're there we had no choice. Other than that it was a nice resort a lot of walking, good food.

El Dorado Casitas Royale: They spoiled us

This is my third time to the Mayan Riviera & the second time to the Eldorado Royale. This time we stayed in a swim up Casita. The room was huge & had an indoor & outdoor shower. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The food is excellent and the spa is very relaxing.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: Family Vacation

The best part of this hotel for us was the room. We had a one bedroom jacuzzi pool view that enabled us to lay my son down in his crib in the bedroom, and still have use of the room and large balcony. There was also a zero entry pool that was great for him to splash around and play with a few toys at. We even had a visit from some monkeys one day! Azul Beach Resort Negril: Best Resort on the 7 mile beach!

The beach area was long and beautifully kept and by far the best beach in the area. The hotel grounds were amazingly kept, the rooms were immaculate and well set up with a balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful views of the ocean. The food was amazing and there was good entertainment nightly however an itinerary would have been nice either posted in the lobby or in the rooms about where and when the entertainment was as well as a run down of the facilities available to use. El Dorado Seaside Palms: Amazing vacations

This hotel has been one of the most wonderful places I been ; we’ve been here for 7 days and the room ; pools food mostly gourmet; pool beach and service from the front desk room service and restaurant service was great ; and actually we went to do couples excursion ; shopping at playa del carmen and next day going to the Marina beach to enjoy with rtv speed boat and seadoo and again it was amazing ; i know than in México many persons doesn’t like to go because news said to much negative pr [... read more]oblem ; but I’ll tell you if you just gonna go to the resort and staying there until your last day you for sure gonna be okay ; nothing going to happens ; this side to f this beautiful country is pretty secure and well take it and secure with alots cops all over ; now if do you wanna go out of your resort for f do you speak spanish you have not problem at all and if isn’t just go away during the day and you gonna have always an excellent profesional service to taking care of you . El Dorado Seaside Suites: Beautiful resort - access to both properties

Everything was wonderful - stayed at the Eldorado Seaside suites. The room was great but to be honest the swim out water feature off the balconies were nice but not really practical - the water was on the cool side. Went into it once to say I was in it but spent all my time at the beach. The hotel can be pretty noisy once the pool bar gets up and running. If you like to party get a room on the first floor with swim out access to the pool. Spent majority of time at the other Eldorado resort  [... read more]which had the better beach area. Only a 5 minute walk. Staff was great and friendly, the food was delicious but the portions could have been larger.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Beautiful place, great for families. The pool was little cold. I will definitely go back. Staffs were very friendly, food is perfect and the rooms are very clean. My kids didn’t want to go back home, they love the place and great shows.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Great Resort

The hotel is updated, the newly added side has very high end finishes and the restaurants are fantastic. The only downside to the property is how far away it is from the airport and other possible excursions.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Great resort, perfect location

The hotel itself is beautiful and newly renovated. The rooms are well appointed and all balconies have an ocean view. Sunsets are perfect. The food was great; breakfast at Mahogany was delicious. The staff are very friendly.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Heaven On Earth !!!!

I have been throughout my life to many 5 star resorts......But never anything like this!!!! From the bed on the beach to the amazing quality of food and service.Its all about the people like Gaudeloupe who takes care of you at the Seaside Suites beach,this guy treats you like family to the bartender at Driftwood they are amazing people.The management clearly knows and understands Customer Service and that is what we received over and above.Cant say enough about this place even the beach,which so [... read more]me people BEACHED ABOUT was ok with me!!! The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great Food!

Small restaurants, amazing food and service. Essence section was new and modern, beds comfortable. Lots of pool, bar areas and quiet spaces to relax. The main pool and beach are great for the Mayan. Wine is drinkable.

El Dorado Maroma: Quiet, intimate resort.

This is a lovely, intimate resort. Even when it's full, it feels deserted. What a beach! Miles of fine, white sand to run or walk along. Food, as in any Karisma resort is great, although usually only three restaurants are open. Evening entertainment is pretty lame but they try. Great resort to just veg at.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Best all inclusive ever!no

Friendly, accommodation acting staff. Every meal was like a work of art. Tastes and chooses excellent. The room was emasculate and fridge was consistently stocked. If there were more than 5 stars, they would get it. THe best part was the care and expertise given by Deb O Donnel of Trip Central.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Choose Mexico if your going to think about going to DR and specially this resort

Pricey had bug issues in our hotel room, whole family had the runs, got so bad we were all afraid to eat at one point not all was bad. But if your going to pay these prices go Mexico resorts that's my overall advice

El Dorado Maroma: Ahhhhh!

Very Relaxing atmosphere. Small resort with very friendly and attentive staff, personalized service. Beautiful white sand beach. Gourmet food, nice selection of restaurants. Peruvian was our favourite! Palafitos was an excellent restaurant with amazing food and worth the extra charge. Large suites, we had infinity pool suite with beach bed and chairs on our balcony. Man made Island with hammocks for a peaceful retreat. Ricks bar has a rooftop sitting area to enjoy the starry nights. 24 hour room service had a great selection. Any minor concerns were addressed right away by the staff. We loved our vacation here! 5 star and great value!

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Go for the service, food, & gorgeous grounds including beach!

TIP: Joining the facebook group for this resort prior to the trip was VERY helpful! If you go for the rooms, you'll be slightly disappointed. The Sensimar side of the resort is older, so there are mature palms, but the rooms are dated and dim. Rooms: Originally, I was in 4028 (end of the hall), overlooking a pool. I was afraid it was going to be too loud, but there was barely anyone in it! (Tbh, I didn't even dip my toe in it because there wasn't much action.) I did find the AC a bit loud  [... read more]and midway, it completely broke, leaking, and shooting out ice. However, the problem was rectified and we were moved 2906, in the Premium Beach Front block. (I wouldn't write a negative review based on broken AC, unless the resort did nothing to solve the problem) I also found the AC in 2906 a bit loud, it sounded as though it was raining outside, but hey, at least it was functional. Being a beach front room, I think it would've been good if guests were able to exit their rooms via the patio door instead of walking all the way around the front. TIP: If you like to watch tv before you go to bed, I'd recommend you download some movies. I don't know if they have satellite or dish, but the quality is quite bad and the channels are very limited. They seemed to play the same movies every other night. Not a big deal for most, I'm sure. Service: Most of the staff were very friendly, greeting you with a "Hola" whenever they would cross paths. About half of them would go above and beyond their usual tasks. Personal Concierge: Absolutely useless. Alejandro, our original concierge, didn't offer us any tips or extra info. Booking of the 2 restaurants was soo archaic and can only be done during certain hours from 8:30am - 2:30pm. Concierge literally has to call each restaurant, where the phone seemed to ring endlessly. It was a time killer! Alejandro also said "restaurants are fully booked". However, when we went for our reservation at Klay Talay (Asian), it was only 1/4 full! So if you can't make your reservations, literally just walk in and ask if they'll accommodate you. You can use any of the concierges if yours is closed or unhelpful. Again, the facebook group for this resort was much more helpful than the personal concierge. Food: My favourite restaurant, that you didn't need any reservations for, was without a doubt Mia Casa (on the Seaside). Food also seemed to taste better there. Other honourable mentions goes out to: Seaside Market (for breakfast), Beach BBQ (breakfast & lunch, primarily for the convenience and atmosphere), & Culinarium for lunch/dinner. I didn't like Driftwood (lunch), Klay Talay (Asian by reservation), Seaside Market (for dinner, no variety), or Arrecifes (dim, nursing home atmosphere). You definitely won't go hungry! Overall, I think your experience varies on what you order. Sometimes there are inconsistencies in terms of how one dish tastes/looks depending on the night. It may say roasted chicken on the menu, but you end up with stewed or something like that. There are soo many bars on this resort, it's quite possible to not even go to half of them during a week's stay! Drinks: Most of the drinks have added syrup/sugar, so I learned to ask them to make a drink less sweet. If you want the Top Shelf liquor, you have to ask for it, re: Grey Goose, Don Julio, etc. Crowd, Noise-Level, Activities, Shows, etc.: I'm not sure if I went during low season, but the crowd was a bit older and things were quite tame. I usually make it out for every nightly show, at other resorts, and this time, I was only able to make it out to ONE. They were quite late, ~9:30pm. I usually tend to participate in all pool-side activities, but for some reason, I only made it out to one. I think it's because the beach was just so nice, that more people tended to migrate there, instead of the pools. Animation team wasn't super aggressive in recruiting people to participate. Crowd was older, primarily British, then American, lastly Canadian and most people seemed to keep to themselves. Overall, I'd return again and would recommend it to friends/family with some comments on what to expect!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Overall a good resort

Simple resort but affective, food was good, people were friendly, night entertainment was great. Having access to Food/Entertainment/Sales manager allowed me to give some improvement suggestions which were accepted in a positive light. Based on Catamaran breaking down during use/rescue; suggested some improvements in the hope it is prevented.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Awesome Vacation

This was our 2nd time at this resort and it did not disappoint. Everyone who worked there was amazing. You will not go hungry at all. The room was perfect. We had a premium honeymoon swim up. We went to the spa and it was fabulous. Our bar tender (Wander) was the best ever. We went to the beach twice and had the Bali beds. They were so comfortable. I highly recommend this resort.
