Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Amazingly beautiful

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were exceptional with any questions we had . The food was good ! The beach was beyond and my whole experience was amazing . I recommend sandos to any family looking for a place to stay!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: LOVED IT!!!

We had such a great time at this resort! Snorkeling in the on-site cenotes, canoe rides in the river, monkey watching, seeing some ruins that were also on-site. The food was good and there were tons of options. The staff were super friendly and unbelievable accommodating and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. The resort was big, and always clean. There are jugs of water in every room, and the bar fridge is re-stocked daily as well. The gym facilities were good and well used. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: INCREDIBLE RESORT!!!

I am not sure I have enough words to express how incredible this resort was! Lush. Clean. Great amenities. Monkey's swinging freely in the trees above you, and even walking the pathways beside you! The entertainment was fantastic, the service was phenomenal! The food was better than we had expected at the buffets and the al la carte's were amazing! Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Fun Family-friendly Resort

Sandos Caracol Ecoresort was a really enjoyable place for my family of 5, including three children under 8. Lots of natural forests and wildlife all around and despite the large number of people there, it wasn't difficult to find a quiet place to relax. The children loved the waterslide park, especially my toddler who splashed in the 30 cm deep kiddie slide area. The other pools were nice but not exactly suitable for young children as there were typically 1.4 m deep with small shallow led [... read more]ges. The main pool, beach-side, was packed all day long, and consequently quite noisy with thumping music and waterpolo dominating the area in front of the swim-up bar; okay, if you want the party atmosphere. The ocean was spectacular - pristine turquoise blue with a view of Cozumel 18 kn across the straight. The beach sand was white and soft, perfect for sand castle building. Unfortunately, the shore is rocky all along, so the little ones weren't able to sit in the shallows with an adult - it hurt too much. Found a small sandy area on the far east of the beach where you could walk right in between the coral - too late of a find for us. Kids Club was well managed and supervised and the children (ages 5 and 7) loved it. Giant climbing structure, ping pong tables, pool, movies, and organized games were all awaiting them. The room was large and comfortable (Jr. Suite) with a terrace, overlooking the jungle, that featured a spa tub. No view of the ocean from here, but it was a perfect place for private sunbathing, and for the children to play when at the room. Room Service was thorough, if a bit late in the day. Italian restaurant was excellent, especially the lasgana and steak. Buffet had a huge range of food options that were tasty and fresh, and enough Mexican flair to last a lifetime. Definitely will go back.

Sandos Cancun: We'll be back!

We had an unforgettable week at Sandos. This is a smaller resort - which we loved. Everything is close by and the staff really make an effort to remember your name and where you are from. Rooms are clean, beach was beautiful and the pool area is perfect - plenty of cabanas to relax in. The only complaint I have is that the pools were way too cold - not a good temperature to lounge in - especially when the sun goes down! Daily activities and nightly entertainment were fantastic. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Resort!!!

The resort itself was absolutely beautiful!! Food was excellent. Rooms are getting a bit dated but all in all an amazing time for both families and couples getting away. I'd suggest if your a couple going to this resort upgrading to the adults only select club, as the main pool was packed with kids. Upgrading allowed your own private adults only section on the beach as well your own pool.

This was our first foray into the all-inclusive vacation market. The resort was clean and the workers very friendly. The guest services staff would do anything and everything to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food was marvelous and there was a great variety with eight different restaurants on the grounds. We spent our days at the beach. Water access at the beach was made difficult with the ocean floor being covered with limestone formations. There are natural coral formations as well as man-made barriers that attract many different fish species so snorkeling at the resort is very easy and the water depth within the swimming area did not exceed eight feet.

Beautiful, clean and spacious room. Resort was well laid out and clean. All employees we super friendly and helpful. Lots of different options to do for everyone. A big variety of food to choose from. A very enjoyable experience and hope to be back soon!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Excellent Experience!

Sandos Caracol was beautiful. The grounds were well kept, and tidy. The service was great. Beautiful beach, just not swimmable due to so many rocks. The room needed some TLC. It was very musty when I first arrived. The maid cleaned it up nicely the next day. A positive experience for sure!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Fantastic resort

Upon arrival we were pleased with main lobby. We were less pleased with the rooms. They were clean but old, bathroom vanity was broken in many places and the shower was the same. The TV was something from the early 2000's if not the late 1990's. Our brother stayed in one of the updated rooms which seemed luxurious compared to our 3 rooms. The food was amaz [... read more]ing, but difficult to get in to some of the restaurants because you needed to be elite members or wait until they were finished dining. The wait is not always easy for young children. The pools were awesome and availability to cold drinks and snacks was great! The ocean view was beautiful but it was so rocky and so much seaweed you could not go out and enjoy the ocean. Fortunately, we did spend a day at its' sister resort (Playacar) which had the most perfect waterfront and that gave us hours of enjoyment. The cab ride was the only cost ($60) return trip which took all 13 of us, and only about 15 mins away. The buffet at Playacar was even more spectacular! The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and well executed.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Truly a tropical experience!

The resort was so beautiful! With all the animals roaming around you truly feel like you are in a the tropics. The grounds were well kept tidy and very clean. Sandos Carocol staff are wonderful and helpful. Unfortunately the room we were given had many issues. It is my understanding they are doing upgrades on the rooms at this time. Our room however was under some distress. The patio door and screen door could barely open. The bathroom sink leaked, the shelf holding the towels was falling off th [... read more]e wall. There was a screw on the shower floor that was sticking out which my foot caught many times.

Sandos Cancun: Found our Favourite destination!

We usually vacation twice a year and prefer all inclusives as this gives the most value and the least stress. And Sandos Cancun Luxury Resort has provided that. Here the Pros: quick check in, 24 hours room service, pool and beach service (not just drinks but also food), excellent ala carte restos (Steakhouse and Italian were the best for me), free wifi throughout the resort (although spotty in some areas, but you are on vacation), very friendly staff and accommodating, never too crowded even t [... read more]hough hotel was at full capacity, beautiful pool area, very compact, awesome drinks (high end stuff - hello Don Julio tequila), adult oriented (not adults only), catered more 30+ age group. Cons: nothing really, our only regret was we only booked for 4 nights instead of one week, a bit on the pricey side - to be fair it was march break - but it was still worth it. We are already planned our return to Sandos Cancun, and have convinced people to come with us just on how highly we spoke of the resort itself. David from Tripcentral was very helpful with this trip. We have saved his contact info for our future vacations. He followed up with our concerns prior to the trip to ensure that we were 100% happy/satisfied with our booking. And Yes David we were. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great resort! We love it!

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (7&9 years) and stayed here for 10 days at beginning of March. We really loved the resort overall. The restaurants and bars are great, the food was very good with a big variety of food choices, fruits and deserts. We enjoyed the the shows they have each night especially the Xcalacoco experience. The kids really had fun participating in some of the shows. We spent most of the day on the beach or the water park. Kids really had fun at the water park and we enjoyed  [... read more]Snorkeling. All the Eco activities were great, from the snorkeling on the river to feeding the deers or digging out the meat cooked on an outdoor mayan oven. We are already thinking about going back next year!

Sandos Cancun: One of the cleanest, friendliest hotels in all of cancun

My fiancé and I traveled to Sandos Cancun Luxury resort from march 9, 2017 until march 14, 2017. When we first arrived we were greeted with a lovely rose and wet cloths to cool ourselves off. The staff was very helpful, courteous and kind. We waited about 2 hours until our room was ready (we had an early flight). When we got to our room it was beautiful. Marble everything!! We used the 24 hour room service twice, which was very quick and delicious. The buffet was absolutely delicious, something different everyday. The desserts were incredible. The Japanese restaurant was my favourite- we were a bit put off when we were told by the hostess that my fiancé and I couldn't sit next to each other (there were plenty of seats--this was also the same hostess who insisted that I was in a wet swimsuit and wanted me to change before enetering the buffet (I was in a sundress) she was the only employee that I felt was quite rude. We were both very happy with the resort and staff and will definitely be returning

Sandos Cancun: A+ resort, staff, flights and travel agent!!

Teelah was great to work with, she helped us pick a perfect location and excellent resort. We had great flights and awesome weather. The resort was top shelf. Staff, pool, beach, service, food, and entertainment were fabulous. Sandos Cancun was clean and very well maintained. A+ vacation.

The resort, staff and food where fantastic. We had a great holiday. We stayed in building 49 at the back of resort and it was wonderful to wake up and see coatis and spider monkeys every morning. The monkeys would come and take bananas right out of our hands. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Fun Week at Sandos Caracol

We arrived on a Tuesday so it was fairly quiet at check in at 1:00. Our room was ready and we were taken to our rooms right after check in. The room was a basic room on the ground floor which wasn't bad since we were on the outskirts of the resort. The balcony was extremely small with only one chair. There is also an in room blow dryer that looked like it was from a different era, that I didn't use so I would recommend travelers bring their own if they depend on that. The resort was nice and big with plenty of places to walk and explore. The pool area was large with a small area designated for small children. There are plenty of chairs and palapas. I am an early riser and usually go down to the pool and reserve my chair on my way to breakfast. You had different options for breakfast which was nice so you didn't have to depend on the buffet all the time. The food was your basic resort food, I found something to eat at each meal. The beach wasn't very nice. It is very rocky and hard to get into. Having said that I didn't go into the ocean during the week. I had read reviews and knew that, so it was no surprise. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I found some of them weren't strong with English so it was fun practicing on my Spanish. The resort is extremely family friendly. There are lots of activities for kids and the shows are geared for them as well. Speaking of which the shows were amazing. The Mayan shows were at different locations which added to the excitement. There were lots of walking paths and animals throughout the resort. There is a little farm for the kids. They have quite a large gift shop on site so if you have forgotten something you could find it there at a price. Overall we really liked this resort and would recommend it for a different eco experience.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Couldn't ask for a better vacation

This resort was just what we were looking for. There is enough to see and do every day that you are not bored. The Jungle setting is really cool to walk through even at night. The paths are well lit and safe. Food was really good, this is the first trip in 12 years that no one in our party got sick. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Incredible Resort!

I wasn't sure what to expect to be quite honest but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort was beautiful. Lots for kids to do and see from the waterpark, the kids club or the eco activities, we learned a lot while there. We never had a dull moment. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend and hopefully return with our extended family for them to enjoy it as much as we did.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: GOOD RESORT

Resort needs a facelift. Workers are very nice. Monkey's are the main attraction! Beach - not able to swim here, too rocky and too rough, had to use the pool every day, and we are not pool people. Food is fine, you won't go hungry. We went for the monkeys. We were bored by the 10th day due to no swimming in the ocean. I do recommend this resort, for the monkeys.
