Hedonism II: Good resort

The resort other than being a little dated, I would consider it a good resort. This was our 6th trip there, so it keeps drawing us back. Staff are friendly and the entertainment is very good compared to other resorts.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Lovely Resort

This was my second time at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. Very laid back, relaxing and fun place. Rooms are clean and large. Staff are helpful and friendly. Food is great, hotel lobby bar is a fun place to meet up in the evenings All in all, a great experience.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: True paradise!

This resort was absolutely outstanding, from the staff to the beautifully manicured grounds. I have stayed at 3 other resorts prior to this one, and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton far surpassed the others. The staff was very approachable and helpful at all times. This resort boasts many a la carte restaurants , which served very high quality dishes with highly trained servers. The best part was that no reservations were necessary for these restaurants. I found this extremely convenient, and w [... read more]e only ever had to wait once for maybe 10mins to be seated. The beaches were also beautiful whith lost of natural coral to explore if you like to snorkel. The pools were nicely cooled which proved very refreshing on those really hot days. A truly amazing experience for my husband and I, and we definitely plan to return in the future.

Sandals Montego Bay: Great Resort

The grounds were well maintain, the pool area was kept clean as was the beach. The Staff were very Friendly and Helpful with any issues that we encounter. The only complaint that I would have was the variety of food was limited and that depending on your room type no alcohol was in the Bar Fridge in the room.

Sandals Dunn's River: Smaller is Better!

What a Jewel! First time in Jamaica and so impressed with this resort. A little smaller resort than we've been to but there was nothing lacking! Food was good, room was good, bar service was amazing and the list goes on! Employees can't do enough to ensure a great experience! Excellent all around! Staff always have a smile on their face! Probably the best vacation ever!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: EXCELLENT RESORT

Excellent Resort - Food is exceptional - Rooms are very clean - Grounds are kept clean daily Butler Service - more like Concierge Service Everything is close walking distance A La Carte Dinners are excellent

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Because of the great weather combined with a fabulous hotel and staff this has to be one of my and my wife's best hoiliday ever.

To start with the hotel and grounds where just plan breathtaking but what makes all of this even better was the genuine,helpful and beautiful staff the greeted our party through out our visit. Whether it was the greeting at upon arrival to the staff in the restaurants, the gardening personnel or the security officers or just a staff member passing by on the walkway; they all seemed genuinely happy with their environment and always wore a smile and where pleased to acknowledge other persons in th [... read more]eir presence. I have very little to say that was not positive about our visit to this resort or for that matter to Jamacia. this being ourt frist time in Jamacia we where very pleased with pretty well all aspects of the trip. from the quick handling of our group at the airport ( with all of the paperwork and personnel in order to get us to the resort ) From the informative bus driver, to the reception and introduction at the resort , our air Canada represntative, the helpfull and courtiuos staff throughout our stay. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great time at the fair priced hotel.

This resort is a huge resort… It is beautiful… The The grounds are Beautiful… The food is awesome… And it is fair price for your dollar… The lady hands inside is definitely in better condition and newer looking than the grand Playdium side… But all in all definitely a fun place could place the only real negative is if you are not in good walking condition or if you are elderly and I don't like to walk… This resort might not be the one for you… There are shuttles… You need s [... read more]ome patients to just relax and wait if you're going to wait for the shuttle stop for my wife and I… Would love to walk and run so we love this resort no problem Mon!! 🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝😁

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Terrific Resort

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent. The food was very good including the a la carte restaurants. We enjoyed the beaches and especially being able to snorkel right off Sunset Cove beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All and all a very satisfying week.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great, relaxing week.

Loved the beach, the staff was amazing, food was good & plentiful. Hotel is dated but we where up graded to partial Ocean view which made a huge difference Would return for a laid back atmosphere vacation.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Better than ever!

This was our 11th trip to this resort since 2012. We were there 9 weeks ago. Even in that short time we could see positive changes being made. The resort looks as beautiful as the first day we did a site inspection at it. The room was what we paid for. Too many travelers to get an upgrade. The food was amazing. Every meal was delicious. Went to the French restaurant, Bordeaux for the 3 nights we were there. The hotel staff staff and management are attentive and everyone goes out of their way [... read more] to ensure you are happy. We can only stay for 3 nights because of commitments at home but it is paradise. We have been to Jamaica over 30 times and is is the only resort we want to stay at. This resort is fantastic and we can't wait for trip 12th but it always has to be at the Wild Orchid Preferred Club. WestJet is the only airline we fly with.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach.

Great holiday. Restaurants good, food somewhat predictable but fresh. Service both at the bar and restaurant fantastic. Hotel 100 % completed. Air Transat rep. Catherine Belanger most helpful. Employees cater to your every need. More seating required on the beach area. Many new arrivals gobbled up all the existing seating.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Awesome resort!

We booked this resort last minute and we're at first a little iffy based on past reviews. It was amazing! To start off our trip, from the time we got off our plane at 1030 to having a drink in our hand at the resort at 11:15. The bus ride from the airport is only 5 minutes. The food was phenomenal, rooms were kept clean and were very nice and modern. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. For a small resort, we had a great experience. There was no wait time for a beach chair and the ocean was so warm. The pool was a little chilly but it was refreshing because the weather was so warm. 100% would recommend this resort.

Riu Reggae: The Reggae Riu was just great!...A new adults only modern all inclusive resort!

The staff were all amazing!!....The food was just great! The entertainment was excellent....pools and beaches were really nice too! We could walk on the beach at the Riu Palace to the Riu Montego Bay...but the other resorts could not come to ours. It was a good size...not too big and actually felt small. Would have liked the lobby bar to have a piano player more often...He was there one evening and we enjoyed dancing in the lobby!...The only complaint was at the Montego Airport on leaving...chao [... read more]tic with 6 Sunwing flights all scheduled to leave within a half hour on Monday...Wished we had gone in the morning by taxi and had lunch there....( instead of taking the hotel transfer) would have been so much more relaxing and really worth the $$

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Wonderful Resort

Everything was great! We were a party of 12 and everyone had a great time! The staff are very, very friendly; accommodations were the best; food was good - especially the steak at the Bubba restaurant; pool is fabulous and the beach is beautiful - even had some snorkelling off the beach at the far end of the resort. I can't wait to come again!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Fantastic resort

Everything was wonderful. I have many food sensitivities but they accommodated them completely. Everyone was polite and helpful. Food was great and so was our room. Pool was wonderful and all the restaurants were delicious

Riu Negril: My Second Home - Amazing Resort

We love the Riu Negril, and have been returning there for many many times throughout the last four years. We enjoy the hospitality of the friendly staff every time we are there. It is always clean, and there is always someone working with a smile to ensure the resort is clean. Love the food at the buffet either for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Have not tried the restaurant because the buffet is delicious. Has a beautiful beach, calm waters, and love the long walks. The rooms are very clea [... read more]n and the mini bar is kept filled. The entertainment staff is full of energy either on the beach during the day or at night.

Riu Reggae: Wonderful Week!

This resort was all it could be! The 5 stars in all categories were well earned. I would like to single out 2 staff members for special compliments, if one can do that and not slight all the other wonderful people that work there. 1. Reneka- the maitre d' at Dolce Vita restaurant for her special ability to make customers feel important. 2. Samantha- the omelet chef for the unfailing bright smile and grace under pressure. If possible please pass my compliments on to the hotel management. I [... read more] wish I could be so complimentary to the check-in processing for our flight back to Canada. We stood in a snaking line for 2 and 1/2 hours to get checked in. 3 days later my knees are still aching; that's too hard on a 67 year old person. There was no obvious way to request assistance. As a suggestion, Sunwing reps could at least pass out water some place along the lineups. As a comment, Sunwing can only get away with treating "too nice" Canadians that way; American customers would be on the phone with their lawyers after about 20 minutes of that kind of treatment. In summary, I would like someday to return to Riu Reggae, but would not if I were not assured of better treatment from Sunwing at the airport. I would like to know that my criticism of the previous paragraph has been conveyed to Sunwing.

Sandals Dunn's River: 'Jewel' of the Caribbean

We just returned from a very relaxing week at Jewel Dunn's River. It is a small resort, and not fully booked, so not crowded at all. The staff were all excellent, and obviously enjoy their work. The food at all the restaurants was very good, as was the service, but often not hot enough, particularly at the buffet. Pizzas were awesome! Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job. The beach is good, but small and you cannot go beyond the resort boundary. The negatives were the 1.5 - 2 hour b [... read more]us ride, and the pools were on the cool side, and not cleaned well. Would definitely go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome Resort 7.5 out of 10

Nice clean grounds and well maintained...a bit of a turn off when they sprayed areas for mosquitos and spray blew back into vacationers. Roomy, clean and well maintained Common areas. Lots of inside and outside lobbies to sit back and enjoy a drink or two!!! Nice rooms however kept on smelling sewage in and around room. Common room hallways a bit grungy...could use a good cleaning. Over all staff was nice and professional however as most resorts that I have been in the past there are some ser [... read more]vers that weren't so pleasant. Long beach strips with adequate seating/lounges with amazing ocean views...good times!! Buffett food was okay and ala carte were really good...my 2 favors where Garden Grill and Dolce Vita Restaurant's.
