Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Resort ok
Went to this resort for the 4th time the staff are still the best We noticed that the management is not be able to keep the supplys for the staff not enough glasses no straws spoons and the evening settings for dinner were not as good rooms are starting to run down more
Paradisus Rio De Oro: amazng resort
the Paradisus Rio De Oro was just amazing the grounds are beautiful food was amazing. the rooms are spacious and clean. the only negative things were the swimming pool was very dirty and not much selection of specialty drinks at the bars. would highly recommend the resort amazing place.
Paradisus Varadero: Definitely not a 5 star resort!
Hotel is save. Beach id beautiful with lots of coconut trees for shade. They had issues with towels though! so hard to get fresh towels. Not all advertised food is available every day. Entertainment is not too much. I would expect them to hire people that actually understand basic English at from desk! We slept on a broken bed for the week we were there and they didn't so anything about it!! Any request you do has to be in a form which takes forever to process. I would have expect [... read more]
Melia Las Antillas: Familiar place
I have been to this resort about 4 times and it has become like a second home to me. The staff all seem to be happy to see the guests and can not do enough for them. Never a disappointment. I usually come with family so we all know the layout and keep coming back to the Melia Las Antilles hopefully for a long time.
Memories Cayo Largo: Relaxing vacation.
Sol CL is a nice place to enjoy the atmosphere of Cayo Largo. Check-in is confusing, more porters are required. Rooms are spacious and very clean, but during heavy rains, water pools on the floor - very slippery. I had no hot water for 3 days. It was cloudy and the solar heater didn't have a chance. A la Carte dinners are excellent. The white wine is good, the red - so-so. Better organized, and inclusive, trips to Playa Sirenas and Paraiso are required. I recommend this resort, I have st [... read more]
Paradisus Varadero: THE WORST EXPERINCE EVER...NEVER AGAIN...
i have to switch my hotel from Paradisus Varadero to Iberostar Varadero due to the horrible level of service in Paradisus that does not belong to five star rating by any mean... and here is what we have been through in Paradisus; -we first check in in room 2026 the AC was broken and the room smells bad and i have a baby that can NOT tolerate this conditions. -same night they moved us to room 1815 the fridge was broken full of water/the AC was very weak/ and my wife wake up in the middle [... read more]
Sol Varadero Beach: Hotel sirenas coral
Ground and public areas are nice. The room is clean enough but the air conditioner was not working at all. they have to change the whole system if they really want give the guests the comfort. food and service is good. The staff should have at least bit knowledge english because mostly they speak Spanish.
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Love this resort
This resort has been renovated and it's modern and relaxing with good service each morning and throughout the day. Food was above my expectation and the people are friendly, easy to talk to. I would recommend this resort to families as it has something for everyone.
Tryp Cayo Coco: Thanks Irma...ruined
Been there many times. Love the hotel and the family feeling they share. Miss them Irma didn't play nice with Cayo Coco at all. Maybe one day I'll go back to what feels like home. Robyn Murray will be watching for me
Melia Las Antillas: Terrible
Dear Sunwing, Â Â Â My name is Stephen and my girlfriends name is Rowene We had the worst experience of my life with your company and the resort. The staff was the most incompetant unorganized people i have ever dealt with. Rude and 0 communication about the process of evacuating the huricane irma. We had asked to leave before the storm hit on wednesday and was told there is no possibility of leaving. This was simply untrue and you left is in distress and anguish for the rest of the w [... read more]
Sol Palmeras: Amazing Resort
We stayed at Sol Palmeras for a week (August 31 - September 7, 2017) in one bedroom bungalow, The resort was amazing, great and so relaxing for our family. The buffet was bland but you could always find something to eat and enjoy, the restaurants food was more favor full. The room was clean and comfortable for our family, there is a lot of bungalow zone and before booking I did read another review stating the distance, so given that my mother in law was traveling with us, and requested a [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Real paradise
I had a great stay at this hotel. I upgraded my room to oceanview, which was the best disicion. Everyone is very friendly and go out of their way to make you happy. I traveled alone, I was tolled that its couples resort and that I might not like it. But I still ended up having a great time. I had a massage at a spa, and spend the entire day using the spa facility. The beach on the spa side is breath taking. The food was great. I've traveled to Cuba numerous times and never had great food like t [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Nice resort
Really nice resort, good food, amazing beach, great people , good service, wonderful weather (hot really hot but nice to spend at one of the five pools )we had a great time . We love to go again maybe next year
Melia Jardines del Rey: Too many flies and mosquitoes
The resort was beautiful, but there were too many flies in the restaurants and buffet area also mosquitoes were everywhere !!!!.. food was terrible and smelly. Dont recommend this resort at all..........
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Amazing place!
Clean, professionally staffed, courteous, 24/7 availability of food... Smiling and engaging staff....................... good food with NO regrets at all! Nightly entertainment is a bonus! Additional trips can be booked at the resort itself. Staff of diff travel companies are dropping in every day...
Paradisus Varadero: Disappointing Experience
The Paradisus resort in and of itself was a disappointment. The pool was out of order for most of our stay due to maintenance/ algae issues. The pool towels were shabby and had holes in them. They ran out of pool towels the second day. Resort for the most part was dated and in disrepair. Although I was not expecting high food quality in Cuba I did not expect them to run out of certain staples either such as orange juice. There were long waits on the buffet for food especially at breakfast as th [... read more]
Hotel Camino del Mar: Great vacation spot!
We stayed at Melia this past August and it was a great vacation. The resort is currently going through upgrades and they really show! Food was great, room was close to the action and the service was great! The beach was beautiful and you could see the ocean from all points of the resort. Would definitely recommend this resort. Great entertainment, activities and an overall 10/10 experience.
Melia Buenavista: Very Good
Overall the hotel was very good and staff very accommodating. We were aware there was only two choices for dining in the evening. I would put the food in category of good with the fish being the standout. The lunch time pool pizza and BBQ was very good , only issue they sometimes had issues getting a few of the toppings.
Melia Las Dunas: Nice Beach, fairly clean environment, below expectation on service
The hotel was clean, food was way better than our expectation for Cuba (not much verity though), but where the hotel fell short was on service. At the pool and beach you had to walk up to the bar to get your drink. No waiters would walk around to take your drink orders. The pool snack bar opens late and closes at 4pm. You have to walk quite a bit to get food if you want to spend the late afternoon at the beach. You could not bring back food back to the pool chair, so you had to sit dine at [... read more]
Melia Buenavista: Relaxing resort
Attentive staff, beautiful beaches and great room. We were looking for a laid back, relax atmosphere which was achieved. We would recommend this resort to couples wanting to recharge their batteries!
