Memories Cayo Largo: Wonderful week!

We have found a new spot to love in Cuba! Our last visit to Cayo Largo was 2018 and so much has changed in Cuba since we were curious how it would be now. This was our first time to the Memories and we were very satisfied. The hotel overall was very nice. Our room was in block one, overlooking the pool and close to everything. It was clean, no musty smell and super comfy bed. It was next to the theater and there was music, etc most nights till 11, so if you want early nights I would ask for a  [... read more]quiet area. The grounds were well kept and it was easy to get around. The restaurants a good and tasty variety,our favorite was the Ranchon on the beach. The bars were well stocked. One area that does need work is the pool, especially the grates on the overflow. If you were not paying attention they could be dangerous. We enjoyed the possibility of going for the day to Playa Sirena and the lunch buffet and service was excellent. The main reason for us returning to Cuba is the people and Memories did not disappoint. Every member of the staff was welcoming and kind.We had a marvelous week and will definitely return. Thanks again to Jenn Black for taking g care of the booking once again.😊👍

Hotel Los Cactus: Nice resort!

I have been in this hotel 2 times before Covid and now it’s way different. There are very few entertainment programs and activities, the music ends at 11-12 pm, as for food, this is a separate issue. The hotel and staff are very good and friendly. Clean and large rooms.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: Iberostar Coral Holguin

October 13 to October 20/2023 Thanks Kevin, It was a wonderful trip at the Coral. Staff was amazing, housekeeping was wonderful. Place was always very clean so was the grounds. Having a Butler available at all times made this trip easy and trouble free. Thank you Trip Central for another wonderful trip. André & Michele

Hotel Rancho Luna: No beer resort

This is the first resort I see no beers and soft drinks for one week . I will never go back again . Staff is very nice . They cannot do anything because they have nothing to give to the tourists. No toilet tissues in any toilet in the pool or lobby area . It is bad .

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Great resort

Great resort very clean. Staff were great family pool Orlanda and Ebert took good care of us. They were smiles and laughter for them everyday. We were already taking about going back. We all enjoyed ourselves

Starfish Varadero: Superb Resort

This spectacular resort called STARFISH VARADERO Is the Complete Package. The food is Exceptional with a Large variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are Incredible and always aim to please the clients. The grounds are very well kept, Rooms are clean and inviting. Playa Vista Azul: Nice rooms, but

You can’t beat the beaches in Cuba however the food is definitely nothing to write home about. The people are amazing, The wait staff at the a la cartes were amazing. For a “5” star resort, they didn’t have any bandaids. I would definitely try a different hotel next time.

Hotel Bella Costa: Beach Resort

Great location, beach front. Staff are all amazing ! Food- who cares, it was all about the beach! Nightly they had a show. The sunset was amazing. The drinks were flowing. The cappuccino bar was the best.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Good hotel

We  enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. We also ensured to manage our expectations: it's Cuba, it might be some shortage, some hiccups, but it's wonderful best in the world beaches, great nice people and lower cost. Food was ok, at the beginning of our stay, but after a couple of days it was really good. We even got good sushi on one night:-) Desserts are good, their flour seems to be a different type, so it impacts taste, but other then that very good variety. Same with drinks, som [... read more]e shortages, but we got tequila and gin when we asked for it:-)Also, in buffet I found that if you raise your hand, someone will come immediately and you will get what you need. We went to restaurants, very nice, good food and it wasn't same as in buffet. We got to deal with customer service because our washroom door locked itself. I spoke to a rep in the lobby and by the time we came to our room, everything was fixed (took about 5 minutes).Beach is great! They have a lagoon type of thing just a bit on a side,  it's very nice to walk there. There are lot of fish in the water everywhere, you just need to put goggles on and put yr face into water. Only one pool was working when we were there (Cuba, we expected something might not be available:-) ). It was personally a bit too loudly there for us, so we came there just couple times. Nice clean pool, it has few sections with different depth from 40 cm to 155 cm..They were doing a lot of renovation, and that was a reason why the second pool was not open. For a week we stayed they painted umbrellas near the pool, renovated little bridges to the beach. They were making a barbecue area, pretty excited to come again and see the results.:-)Entertainment was good: dance show, songs, dancing fun with guests, they also played volleyball on the beach. It's not far from the airport, just about 20 minutes ride, tourist area, so even going thru customs is not a bad experience. Everybody is nice and smiling Few thing which bittered our stay: mosquitoes and some rocky spots on the beach.  Both things are seasonal, they did a great job though of spraying something to kill mosquitoes, we even enjoyed watching a small plane doing it from  air (quite entertaining )We had plenty of repellent (strong recommendation bring few with you!) , we also had water shoes, definitely helped too.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Amazing

The resort was amazing. We had a little difficulty with wifi first couple of days but they fixed it up. Everything was very clean, the food was good and the staff was amazing. We had a swim out room which made our stay that much better.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Great, relaxing vacation

Great, relaxing vacation. You can't beat the beaches anywhere. If you go go to the outdoor bar at sanctuary, Darrell is the best bartender he really took care of us and made our trip absolutely amazing. We went when the resort was actually slow but we preferred it. Staff is very friendly. I had message the manager ahead of time for our anniversary to do something special for the room that ever ended up panning out, but still had a great trip.

Melia Las Dunas: Amazing vacation

This hotel is amazing, it was my third time here as I knew what to expect and was going with my daughter and sisters for there first time.. they loved it ! The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful! I found the food to be amazing there was something for even the pickiest of eaters! The beach and pool are both amazing and the staff is always trying to keep you busy! The only thing better is if all the a la cartes would have been open, but the buffet was excellent! Paradisus Rio De Oro: Best in Cuba

My second time to this hotel , and it keeps getting better and better! The staff are second to none …… i didn’t encounter one unhappy , or unaccommodating staff member my whole stay …… special thanks to Marisol in the pool restaurant ❤️ ……. The grounds are are as beautiful as you’ll ever see …… even though Cuba is still rebounding , the food ( and rum of course ) is very good …… I love to experience different places , yet I will return yearly ……. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Memories-Bad Memories

Resort is clean and appears maintained. The staff is lackluster, most barely doing their job. The cleaning staff however are amazing. Tips mean nothing, these people are just not top notch . The flies and other insects are unbearable ...this place needs to be shutdown and fogged for about a week to get the bug aspect under control. The beer was cold ..otherwise there is nothing positive to be said.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Disappointed

Most of the staff was rude no drinks except for mango juice to kick with liquor, wine and beer 1 day of watered down soda. Not much variety of food in buffet all week. Mosquitoes were horrible even with bug spray !!! Will not be going back and do not recommend

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Wonderful Resort!

What a beautiful resort. The grounds are pristine and very tropical - everything that you want from a Caribbean Resort. The beach is GORGEOUS! There is no reason to leave it. There is food at the beach. There is a bar at the beach. There are washrooms at the beach. We spent every day from 8am to 6pm at the beach. The water is GORGEOUS! Warm and the most beautiful blue. Obviously there are a few 'hiccups'. The wifi is ok - mostly available in the common areas (not rooms). This wasn't bad for me as I need an excuse to not have my phone with me. The pools are just ok - but who cares when the beach is so beautiful. The people are amazing and certainly contribute to a great experience. This is my second Royalton resort - looking for my 3rd.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Very clean, the staff was amazingly friendly.. would recommend a stay at this hotel.

First of all big shout out to Orlando the bartender at the family pool. he was so great. Friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. There was some food not available but what they did have was very good. The beach was fabulous. Long stretch for walking and the water had a sandy bottom that was kind on the feet. A very good resort.

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Cuatro Palmas

Regardless of the fuel shortages on the island this is still a great place for a great vacation. Safe and wonderful beaches with the greatest location in town. Thanks to all the staff that made possible this great holiday !

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Absolute Not , Never Again

Unsanitary environment. staff and food covered in house flies .. no scent of cleaning solutions.. Diamond club rooms disgrace the Diamond club resort status Stay / Book at your own Risk.. I can't blame the staff, I believe the responsibility lands squarely on ownership. I am disappointed the sellers even offer this to paying customers knowing the conditions
