Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Beautiful resort

Hotel clean and new. Beach beautiful with white sand and clear warm water. Staff are amazing, friendly and always with a warm smile. Food is good lots to eat,staff make do with what they have. Drinks are good if your are not picky always something to drink. Some shortages as it is Cuba but not that noticeable. Take alot of bug repellent with deet as the resort is by swamps and lots of flies and mosquitoes. We keep them at bay. All in all best resort we've been to in Cuba.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Quiet and Tranquil

Beach was amazing Staff were exceptional Entertainment was great Rooms were spacious Layout was very simple Concierge was attendant Room Service was outstanding Chefs were courteous Many other guests were horrible human beings and there should be screening standards implemented

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: BEAUTIFUL RESORT BUT NEED BETTER STAFF !!!!!

Hotel is new and beautiful but service is not good !!! Baby crib was not in the room and we went two nights with out it !!!! Water in the room you should get every day we did not get it for two days !!! Sunwing is terrible are transfer from hotel to airport was late 2 hours and nobody did anything to help us !!!!!Staff at the front desk just told us that is not are problem call taxi!!!!SUNWING TERRIBLE COMUNICATION TRAVEL AGENT DONT DO HIS JOB !!!!! NEVER AGAIN TRAVEL WITH SUNWING!!!!!!

Melia Cayo Coco: Very nice resort

Quiet, pleasant stay . The resort is very clean and the employees are incredibly gracious. Food is pretty good for Cuba, especially considering the shortages. Good selection of drinks with slight shortages near the end of the week but bar staff do their best to make it work. Bring mosquito repellent as it’s next to a lagoon.Overall would return if the price was reasonable.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Large but lovely resort

This was my first experience in an Iberostar resort and I was throughly impressed. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The rooms are clean with lots of space. Hot water, ice cold air conditioning and comfy beds. The beach and the pool are amazing. I can’t comment on the entertainment as I was too pooped to party after spending the day in the sun by the pool or on the beach. Even though it is low season we had difficulty getting into an a la carte. We had a reservation for 8 pm and when we arrived they had run out of the meats. Not everyone can eat fish so we had to leave and go to the buffet. Very disappointing but we do understand the difficulties Cuba is facing right now. We can’t wait to return regardless of the shortages.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful Resort

My stay at Iberostar Daiquiri was wonderful. The grounds are clean and well kept. The pools are crystal clear with lots of space and plenty of loungers around. The lobby is great, with a TV so i could watch my Sunday Football. Beach is Beautiful, there is a great pier to go snorkeling from with lots of different fish to see. Best part of my stay though, was the super friendly and welcoming staff. They made me feel at home. Cant wait to go back

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Memories Caribe Cayo Coco Cuba

The beach is stunning. The flies, mosquitoes, and noseums were relentless. Flies were all over the food at the buffet. The people are absolutely lovely. It should be noted to book an a la carte table for dinner, do so at the beginning of your trip cause people book early.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Has the basics

Memories Flamenco is in need of some upgrades. It has the basics, but the pools are missing huge chunks of tiles, could use a good cleaning. Food was ok ... basic, which I expected. Was disappointed in the beach, as the coral makes it really hard on the feet getting in and out of the water. Jelly fish were in season so we spent our time at the pool anyway.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Relaxing week at the Grand Ashton

This was our first time in Cayo Paredon. The Grand Ashton Hotel is fairly new, our room had a nice view of the main pool and ocean. This is the nicest room we have had in Cuba and was kept clean. Very impressed by the level of cleaning of the grounds, lobby, bathrooms, etc. All the staff are very friendly and ready to help, we felt welcomed and appriciated. The food was good and plentyful, meals were pretty much the same everyday but always felt satisfied with what I had. Very nice [... read more] pools for every type of person...party, quiet, family, etc. The beach is amazing and clean. Plenty of palapas and chairs. You will not see seaweed like in Mexico and Punta Cana...Seaweed here is almost zero. For the nightly entertainment, there are no amphiteatre and have limited shows in the lobby area. FYI...you will not have soft drinks on the resort because of availability and no Mojito's nor Pina Colada. As reference, the hotel is about a 30 minute bus ride from the airport. We will be going back to this hotel.

Starfish Cayo Largo: VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

This hotel was recommended to us. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations. This was my husband and my first trip since 2018 and we brought our daughter for her birthday. We requested ocean view rooms which we got but upon entry to the room was awful. The air conditioning wasn’t on, no bottled water, no toilet paper and no shower curtain, dirty floors and balcony doors wouldn’t close properly. The food was very repetitive and not plentiful. The 24 hour snack bar had no snacks. On a good day you might get a burger or ham sandwich. The salt water pool was very large but full of algae. The tiles on the ground around the pool so chipped and not level. There were no lights at night outside your hotel room door. The store on the property very low inventory but mostly rum. Couldn’t even buy sunglasses. The nightly entertainment was pretty much non existent. However Lazarita was very lovely. They seemed to be very skimpy handing out water bottles at the bars. There is a turtle sanctuary in town which is cool and also they brought baby turtles to our beach. We got to do a turtle release in the ocean. The hotel needs a lot of work and repair. The ocean was beautiful but the beach very small, lots of rocks and stairs very unsafe. My husband was upset they ran out of Cristal beer. The only thing he drinks. My daughter and I did discover Spanish Coffee which we loved! For the first time in my life ever travelling anywhere including other parts of Cuba had I ever gotten eaten alive by sand fleas. So so bad!

Iberostar Coral Ensenachos: Great resort

The hotel is maintained exceptionally well. Especially the grounds, the beach and the rooms. All the hotel staffers courteous and helpful at all times. Willing to do any extra service to make the stay enjoyable. The food is acceptable based on the current situation of the country

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Amazing resort

Hi everyone, as I already did a review on Grand Memories Hotel and mentioned there Sanctuary, cuz I was staying twice in Sanctuary Grand Memories. It's amazing only adults place , magical paradise in everything!!!! I personally highly recomend this place. I'll be back there for sure!!!! Great ppl, nice rooms, good food, perfect service. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Very good resort

Hotel was very good , communication was not great. - we were not aware in advance , Hobie cat sale boats were only available if staff member accompanied you. Personally traveled there to use and enjoy on my own. - very difficult to find out daily activities - butler was non existent Positives : Room was great Food was best we have enjoyed in Cuba Beach great Service very good We would return if the Hobie Cats were available for customer use as i have enjoyed at all other Cuba resort [... read more]s and other Caribbean countries

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Amazing resort

I have been in this resort for few times already, just love it!!!! Specially Sanctuary, it's adult only. Everything is wonderful there, the food, the atmosphere, the beach is magical. The personal in a resort are so nice and welcoming, room service is very good. I really liked that they have some food service on the beach, so you don't have to go for a lunch somewhere else, if you don't wanna leave. Ppl you have to be prepared for these insects, do not take your towel after the beach to your room, change for new ones, if you couldn't do so, leave those towels outside in a balcony, cuz those sandfly jumping in your bed and continue biting you!. Also I would like to suggest something to the ppl who brings canadian loonies. It's amazing that you wanna tip ppl there, bit Cuban banks do not accept loonies, and ppl have to struggle to run around and exchange them , so please if you won't mind , it's not a big deal to go to the bank before your trip and buy American dollars by 1 dollar . You will help them a lot. Cuz imagine you got money, which you really need, but you can't use it. I guess that all what I was a about to comment. Again place is just magical in all ways, highly recommend!!!!

Sol Cayo Santa Maria: GOOD

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Amazing resort!

It was our second stay at this resort, and it was great again! The food was decent, the room was nice and well maintained, the staff was amazing. Customer service was professional and helpfull, special thanks to Suleidy (front desk). Wide beach with a lo-o-o-t of palapas, white sand, turquoise and warm ocean - everything you need to relax. We will definetely come back to this beatiful place.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: An exceptional vaccation

I booked the stay to celebrate my wife birthday. Since first minute we feel a warm hospitality. Our butler Tolon did an amazing job in welcoming us, understanding our need , organizing our events. He is the best. Everyone gave to us the best service. I can say that was our best stay out of the 5 times we stayed in Cuba. The One Gallery Hotel: Beautiful resort

We stayed at The One Gallery resort for 2 amazing weeks at the end of September 2023. The hotel is beautiful, and new, with lots of art decorations. The beach is huge, lots of shade and beach chairs and the water was so good and clear you can spend the whole day in it. The personnel are very friendly, always smiling and there to help. The food was very good with lots of variety and nicely displayed, compliments to the chefs. I would like to mention a few waitresses and waiters: Lizai, Yes [... read more]enia, Yoni, Magdiel at the buffet restaurant or Elizabeth and Alexandro at a-la carte restaurants. Not to forget the housekeeper Eli who did a great job and made nice towel displays and solved our faucet problem. Also I'd like to mention the butlers, and customer service personnel who were always ready to help. We will go back anytime.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: A wonderful, unique resort.

This was our second (and long overdue!) visit to the Colonial after several years. We love this place! Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with plenty of room for 3 beds. The air conditioning worked well, and there was plenty of warm water available in the large 4 piece bathroom. The food was adequate, with a few shortages (as we had expected). What was available was tasty and well prepared, and the a la Cartes were excellent!The staff were very pleasant, friendly, courteous and hard working [... read more].The entertainment was excellent, with some very talented young performers.There were some renovations in progress, and the salt water pool was closed, but the beach was absolutely gorgeous, and the fresh water pool was clean and well maintained. The gardens were well maintained and very pretty. We had a wonderful week!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Should be closed down
