Melia Jardines del Rey: Restful and relaxing

What did we like??? the short ride to the resort, the quietness of the location being the end of the line of resorts with rolling hills and mile long beach to our right, the hospitality and friendliness of all who worked there, the beautiful architecture of the main buildings, the view from our oceanfront room, the many lounge chairs and shade huts, the comfort and cleanliness of our room, and even the 2 visiting frogs on our ground floor patio, as well as the opportunity to serve those who were [... read more] repairing and building to beautify the resort more. NOTE: the hurricane somewhat destroyed the coral reef and has created land-mine moments in the water by the beach. Bring water shoes and enjoy the treasure hunting.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Amazing Resort

Loved everything and every minute of our stay at this resort. Well maintained grounds, clean rooms, friendly staff with great entertainment and a beautiful ocean. Beach is limited but the pier gives you easy access to the water without the sand if you want or there are plenty beach chairs behind the pier in the sand. Pilar Beach is close by and you can walk the beach or take a short ride by bus or taxi. Food was good always something to eat for even the pickiest. Melia Jardines del Rey: Very good

Nice swimming pools, clean rooms, decent food, entertainment also fairly good. The hotel lobby was too loud, and the internet that was available only in the lobby wasn’t very useful for communication with my family in Canada as it was so noisy that it was almost impossible to talk over the phone (skype, massanger, viber)

Hotel Camino del Mar: Beautiful resort!

My boyfriend and I booked a spontaneous four night getaway to melia Cayo Guillermo. I’m not sure why- but I had very low expectations for this resort. I’d been to Cuba several times before, always saying I won’t go back because of the food. But the prices always suck me in- much cheaper than other islands. Anyway- upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised! The resort itself is beautiful! Even more beautiful than the pictures I had seen online. We had a great bungalow room, with a hamm [... read more]ock and about a one minute walk to the pool and ocean. Everything was clean and the food was much better than expected! (Minus the international restaurant- not our favourite). It is a good couples or adults resort- not many activities for children to do. The night time show was very well done- lots of talent there. I’m not sure I’d go back here, only because I enjoy experiencing something new- but without a doubt- I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone wanting to travel to Cuba for their next getaway.

I loved everything this resort had to offer. The room was clean and well maintained, the food was good and always available, the beach is amazing, the pools were great. The staff are always smiling and ready to serve you. We are going back next year! See you then😎

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great Beginings!

We were lucky enough to stay at the Grand Mutu in Cayo Guillermo on the first day it opened......the staff were amazing and the Hotel itself is beautiful! They were still working on the beach and the outside Theater but I'm sure they will be finished very soon, having said that you could still use the beach, and they had lots of entertainment just in a different area. The food was good for Cuban standards and we really enjoyed the Indian restaurant! We would definitely stay there again!

Sol Cayo Coco: Went 3 times there and going back!!

I went there a few times with family and friends, and I was happy to go back! The staff members are amazing and they remember us, that is pretty cool! :) Beach is amazing, staff is great, food is alright, cleanliness is amazing, music and night life is great, will definitively go back next year with a group of friends.

Melia Cayo Coco: Beautiful Beach

Hotel met all our expectations, beach was stunning, resort was spotless, rooms were clean but could use some updating. Food was good above our expectations from what we had heard about Cuba. Staff very friendly. Was an excellent relaxing vacation.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Awesome Time

This was a great vacation. The food was good and the people were very nice. The pools were always clean and the staff were always helpful. The beach was amazing it was a clear blue and you could walk out and and it didn't get deep. The only bad thing is I didn't really like some of there mixed drinks. The nightly shows were great and different from anything I've ever seen. I would recommend this Hotel.

Rien que du positif! Les employés sont super gentils et le service est excellent. Tout est neuf et la nourriture est génial pour Cuba! Les restos à la carte sont fantastique, surtout le Seafood. Beaucoup de choix au buffet! Je le recommande à 100%

Hotel Mojito: Solid Resort

Despite the recent Hurricane damage, very good progress has been made on repairing the resort and grounds. Rooms were spacious and clean. Food quality has dramatically improved since the last time we stayed at this resort. Weather, pools and beach were amazing as usual and the rum punch is the best in Cuba! Resort staff were also very friendly and helpful. This is a great resort and offers value for money which would be hard to beat!

Melia Jardines del Rey: Buyer beware!

This is a huge hotel so if you have mobility issues this resort is NOT for you. Hotel staff are not the friendliest, which I know is odd for Cuba. The beach is beautiful but have limited blue beach chairs on the beach. These. chairs would be gone before 6:00 AM

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Never disappointed at the Iberostar Daiquiri

We again visited the Iberostar Daquiri the last week of February/first week of March. This is our 9th visit to this resort. This is a good 4 star (Cuban 4 star) resort. If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not the resort for you. If you are looking for the best beach you will likely ever find, clean, comfortable accommodation then you will love the Daiquiri. The staff goes out of their way to be accommodating and make sure everyone has the best experience possible whether you are a returning guest or this is your first time visiting. Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Amazing

No complaints. Great service at reception. The staff were great and very helpful. Staff spoke very good English. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. No complaints about the food as well.

Melia Cayo Coco: highly recommend

We have been to Cuba many times and this is the best resort we have been too. The food was exceptional and it we looked forward to eating at the buffet everyday, every meal. International Al la cart was so good we went twice in one week :) . Cons: only one pool so, if beach is windy its hard to find a lounge chair in the shade. lounge chairs are reserved early in the morning. Lobby is very quiet and often reminded us of a seniors home, sedate piano music. Repeat older clientele have a sense of entitlement, when we arrived the majority of customers were 65+, but when we left the age had gone up and a few 20+ people had arrived, so mixed bag. Waiting on transfer bus at airport for cigarette smokers and beer drinkers was annoying. I would absolutely return, because the pros outweigh the cons...lovely resort! We were there early March

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: great hotel

First , let me comment on the staff and management at the Daiquiri. They are just like my own family and so we keep returning to your hotel. I was very surprised that after the hurricane, you recovered so fast and did the recovery so well. Almost as if there was no storm. All of the staff were very accommodating and it was as if we were visiting our own family and the grounds were well kept.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Very Nice Resort & Great Entertainment

Feb 21 to Mar 3 2018 Our stay was great!!! Amazing how well everything was put back together after Hurricane Irma back in September of 2017. 20mins from the airport was really convenient. The Beach was amazing! Beautiful White sands with Serene Tranquil waters. Great sailing, kayaking and Snorkeling. The Entertainment was Excellent! The pools were large and not over crowed. Melia Cayo Coco: First Time at Melia Cayo Coco

Fantastic friendly staff, great beach and the food was good too. Resort is super close to the airport, only about a 15 min bus ride so we were on the beach in no time once we arrived in Cuba. A BIG shout out to Charles the egg and pasta guy at the buffet, you could totally tell he took a lot of pride in what he makes. Real nice guy. Will totally return for another stay.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Wonderful Holiday!

Two teachers looking for a relaxful beach holiday. This resort lived up to all of our expectations. Amazing good walking beach. Awesome turquoise water.The grounds of the resort still show some effects of the fall hurricane.Our room in Block 15 was fine...some biting mosquitoes were problematic if the balcony sliding doors were left open. Food at the buffet was varied and plentiful. The 3 restaurants were 4 star Cuban . The 24 hour snack bar offered drinks, special coffees, pizza and hamburgers. [... read more] We opted for the $100 Diamond Club - would recommend it. Beach towels in the room, comfy chairs and umbrellas at the gorgeous beach, bar and snack bar beach service....Water, soft drinks and beer replaced daily in the room fridge. Resort employees were friendly, professional and helpful. Not a resort for partying. Quiet at night. Mostly middle age tourists.
