Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Exceeded my expectations

This hotel was by far my favourite in Punta Cana. This was my 6th time to the area and first time at the grand sirenis. The staff was awesome and easy to communicate with. The food was incredible. Our room was cool and comfortable and centraly located to beach and restaurants. I’d go back tomorrow.

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Wonderful vacation

The workers from all avenues of the Bahia Principe from grounds to the chef in the kitchens are fantastic! Always happy, singing while they work! Love going to this resort. Probably 18-20 years. If you are a walker you can walk to the beach and then four to six kilometres on the beach. Food is fabulous, name your drink and you will get it!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Good resort

We were for third time in this resort. The beach and pools are okay but rooms can be updated. The personal are very nice and friendly. The resort offers a lot entertainment in the evening and we had good time.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: 10 glorious days

We love the majestic . From the moment you arrive into the grand foyer and sweeping stairs leading to lower bar. The people greet you with warmth, happy to make sure you are made to feel like part of their family. I love the grounds, always colourful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean and our maid Olga attended to our needs. The beaches are fabulous, plenty of seating. Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Great resort

Just returned from the Magestic Mirage . The one bedroom suite was very spacious, clean and well appointed . Service overall was very good . The beach is beautiful. Plenty of lounge chairs . Had a great relaxing vacation .

This resort was great. The food was amazing. Plenty to choose from. The entertainment in the evening was wonderful. And the events during the day were fun to do. The rooms were clean and well kept. If you needed anything, the maids brought you extras.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Vacay at Grand Bahia Prin. Aquamarine

Very clean resort. Lousy entertainment. Resort itself is decent size but travel agent failed to mention there were six other resorts on same compound. Need to use trains to all most all restaurants. Beautiful beach, private aquamarine beach seating but packed in like sardines. Many people have been there multiple times but we would not go back as it’s just way to huge for our liking.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Relaxing n paradise

We had a wonderful experience at Caribe Club Princess. Staff amazing as was food. Loved the walk past mangrove to the lobby. Felt safe at all times. Have been here 6 times now alone and with family. Beach fabulous. Rooms really need to be updated especially washroom but always cleaned well. Would recommend to friends. Hope they don’t change lobby or buffet as beautiful...also hope mangrove walk stays as is as this is one of main reasons we keep coming back.

The resort was very clean, the staff were very friendly. The food was good but not a huge variety seemed to have the same food every day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We took our kids to this hotel and they were not really into the water slides, we went 1 day and stayed for about an hour. The kids said the slides hurt their backs. The kids had so much other stuff to do at the pool and the beach the slides were not an issue. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Above average

The bar tenders are rude and ignore you and serve watered down drinks. There were roaches in the room. The floater at the pool was $22 USD (much more expensive than buying in USA or Canada). The common menu was almost the same daily. Needs to be different. Food & alcohol should be open 24x7. The casino seems rigged.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Great time at this fun resort

Breathless was a great place to stay, food was great, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. There is always something to do there so you would never be bored. The only negative would be that the drink consistency varied from bar to bar and you never knew what your drink would taste like each time. Also turn down service was to be done every night but it only happened once for us. No biggie as it was minor to us. We would come back

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort

Resort was renovated in 2018 and has a very fresh and modern feel. Staff was very friendly and responsive. pool was excellent with warmish water. With access to the 4 sister resorts on the property, you have a great variety for pools and restaurants.

Riu Republica: Great resort

Loved most all ...the ala cartes could you use better lighting, and better food. All in all a solid 4 !! Oh ...the jerk chicken a four plus !! And the staff fantastic. Very good bar service, a wait of no longer than a minute or so.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Beautiful resort!

This is a beautiful resort! The grounds are lush and well kept. The service was outstanding. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The food at the buffet was very good however the only a la carte we went to has surf and turf and the portions were very small and cold. The day entertainment was lacking and We listened to the same playlist daily. Overall a great vacation.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Worth Every Penny

Breathless was breathless. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The food was excellent and the presentation from the buffet to Al la Carte’s was top notch. 12 of us went and 12 of us said we would return The beach was clean and huge and lots of chairs and sun shades Both pools were fun and designed to either party all day or a more relaxed area Staff were amazing. Polite, courteous, and willing to do anything to help

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely beautiful!

The lobby as you arrive is massive with a beautiful marble floor, the staff at reception were warm and welcoming. As soon as you arrive they work very fast at getting you checked in and carry your luggage to your room. The grounds are impeccable with gardens and green grass along the walkways. The public areas (pool, restaurants, washrooms) are very well cleaned by the maids who are always friendly and smiling, sometimes singing. The pool and beach were cleaned daily and the white powdery sand feels great on your feet. All in all this resort is wonderful and would return in a heartbeat.

Occidental Punta Cana: Good Value if you dont want fancy!!

Resort was clean, someone was always cleaning the bathrooms, especially at the beach. Grounds are well manicured. Pack your patience for service at the lobby bar. You will need to sweater when having dinner as all the restaurants and buffet are extremely cold.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Unforgettable trip!

Breathless Punta Cana was amazing! The grounds and beach were pristine and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are what made this trip unforgettable; they are friendly and willing to help in any way at all. The entertainment crew ensured that there was never a dull moment, but there was always opportunities to relax on the beach or the main pool. I had absolutely no issues during my trip. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort that has something for everyone.

We loved the hotel it was very big so we did lots of walking exploring all the areas however, if you can’t walk there is a train shuttle that goes around. We had a junior suite room that was very nice and had a jacuzzi on the balcony which we enjoyed. The food at the buffet and restaurants was amazing and plenty of options. Staff was amazing and the hotel was very clean. We can’t wait to return.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Major kinks to iron out

It's a smaller resort with about 1000 rooms. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, as was the beach. The food and drinks were very good. Staff was friendly. The resort offers 3 levels of service: "Unique", "Adults Only" and the rest of us. We were "upgraded" to a "Unique" room but were told we were not entitled to any of the "Unique" amenities, which are private beach bar/restaurant, private lounge, and private roped-off beach area. There were less than two dozen people who were actual "Un [... read more]ique" guests, so many other people were also upgraded (without the amenities) - mainly because the rooms were empty. This created problems for all of us. The beach area reserved for the "Unique" guests was the same size (we paced it off) as the area for the regular guests. So you had maybe 24 people in the reserved section, and then over 1000 guests crammed into the same sized area further down. Every morning, there were people arguing and trying to find chairs and spots to sit. There were simply not enough chairs, and not enough space for all the guests at the beach or at the pool. Unbelievable! You had to get up before dawn to get a chair, or you were out of luck. There are two beach bars, one for the "Unique" guests - which never had more than a few people (in fact, often more staff than guests), and a smaller one for all the rest of us. Can you see the problem? Another minor issue was the refrigerator. It never got cold. We brought it to the manager's attention, but nothing was ever done about it. Yes, the fridge is stocked with 2 beer and 2 coke every day - but it's warm. Yuk If people are looking for night entertainment, they won't find it here. There is a live band that plays from 8:30 to 9:30, and that's it. Also, the casino wasn't open.
