Royalton Blue Waters: butler service a waste of money

The hotel is nice. The staff for the most part are nice. The rooms are clean and nice. The entertainment is in the middle of the courtyard which makes it hard to sleep till after 11pm. The shows were not very good. As a family resort it's good but if you want quiet this is not a resort for you! There are no adult only areas and all the daytime entertainment is everywhere. Very windy in every place you sat.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Dissappointing

When we arrived our room was not stocked with towels water or beer, we went without towels for 2 days. Chain lock was broken and hanging off the door. Shower and the room was not clean by any countries standards. Although there were some very polite staff most were rude and not very helpful. Room was so far from the beach and ameneties that we ended up with blistered feet. The good beach was not available to all guests, if you were a travel club member you had the good beach, if you are just a v [... read more]acationer you were segregated to a lower class of beach. To top things off on the 5th night, my pocket was picked by a vendor. The list goes on and on about the poor service and the staff. Very disappointed for my first trip to Jamaica.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful!

We had a wonderful time. The food was good and our room was nice. They have several different pool and beach areas to enjoy and the view is fantastic! We really enjoyed the many different themed restaurants!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Disappointed Traveler

After checking into Luxury Bahia hotel we then went over the desk that handled the scheduling for dinner reservations for our ( as stated on the Air Canada Vacations, Unlimited a la carte , we were only able to book 2 reservations, we asked about several other restaurants and were either told they were closed until December 26th or the Manager of the Bahia hotel was not giving and reservations to guest at the Luxury. We spoke to the Air Canada rep that was on site after the orientation,. she [... read more] said leave it with her and she would loo k into it, there was also other guest that were at this same orientation that had the same problem. That same day we spent the day at the pool and got back to our room at 5:25 pm, and we left for dinner around 6:30 and got back to the room around 8:30. When we return to our room we found a dinner reservation for that same night for 5:30, so we got informed of this 3rd reservation after it actual had past. The Air Canada rep on site seemed like she knew what to say, but she did not get anything resolved. On Thursday morning my wife and I got up early because we had a massage at 10am booked, with the spa circuit booked at 9am. Each morning when we were leaving the room I always put the sign on the door that the room was ready to be cleaned. We returned to the room close to 6pm that night and that the room still had not been clean. I went looking for the maid whom I found down the hall and asked her for towels, she informed me that she did not have any. How is she cleaning and preparing rooms without supplies? When I got back to my room I called the butler service, they brought some towels to allow us to clean up. After having our showers I stopped by the front desk and asked to talk to the Hotel Manager or Assistant Manager, I was informed by the front desk clerk that there was no manager, I find this hard to believe, especially since she went in the back room and when she returned she told me to try again to speak to someone tomorrow.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: A View to beat all views

We have done some extensive traveling to many different all-inclusive resorts and this property offered by far the best layout we have encountered yet. The main lobby building is built around a spectacular pool that is the largest on the island. The various levels in this building offer multiple dining options, amazing lounge areas that offer a view to die for where you can kick back and relax while being entertained with music. Unfortunately that same level of friendliness and helpfulness did not apply to the majority of the rest of the staff. The food was plentiful and diverse and for the most part very enjoyable. We had an ocean front room that offered incredible panoramic views and our suite was large and very comfortable. When we had an issue with beach towels the night Manager was more than accommodating and had towels delivered to our suite before we had even finished our evening coffee. This is a gem of a property, that needs to upgrade their level of service in the dining and public areas and hang on to all the charm that the rest of the resort offers. Put this resort on your list as a must visit in Jamaica.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Big resort

The food, rooms, grounds, pools all very, very good! The staff wonderful. My only complaint for me is it was too big. Would I recommend this resort, yes but I would mention the size. Everyone is different and may not mind the size.

Riu Ocho Rios: Nice resort

The hotel is beautiful the service at the front desk is terrible and some waitresses and cooks are very rude.The rooms are very clean and the housekeepers are very nice, how ever the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The beaches are very nice .

Riu Montego Bay: Fantastic time!

Overall had a great time at the resort! Staff was super helpful and friendly and the pool was always maintained well. Rooms are a bit dated, however they were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: So fun!!

The rooms are average, smell musty, and a little damp, but for the amount of time you spend in your room it's livable. The grounds are kept very clean. The food is 8/10. The steakhouse is amazing! One of the best steaks I have ever had, and I'm a huge foodie.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing Resort and service

Our vacation was amazing from the minute we arrived. So thrilled to have received an upgrade to an "ocean view room" for our anniversary week. The service was wonderful, the staff very friendly and the hotel and all amenities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. My husband really enjoyed his 2 golf games that were included. Definitely a 5 star resort.

Sunscape Splash: Good time

I was pleased with the resort, our room was cleaned and re stocked daily. I especially liked the 24 h cafe, they offered food like home. Most of the staff was excellent, some of the staff bothered us for our things, and wouldn't leave us alone. Over all good resort, wouldn't go back.

Sandals South Coast: Our Sandals Whitehouse 10 day vacation

Dear Shaukath Fattah, We had a trip of a lifetime!! AMAZING. From our arrival at Toronto Airport to Montego Bay to Sandals…..it was fantastic. I didn't realize I had motion sickness until half way there, but other than that our stay was outstanding. Sandals Whitehouse was everything plus more. We're so glad we stayed the 10 days. We had decided to use the Airport Bus service just to make sure it was completely stress free. The only thing we wondered about was that we met a lot of Canadians at Sandals that had booked trips with different features included in their trip like spa days that we didn't have, or trips off of the resort that were included with their booking that again would have cost us extra. Again…it was an amazing adventure and one we would like to repeat. We definitely will want to return in the near future.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great Resort

The hotel was beautiful! Staff where all nice. Buffet was better then restaurants in our opinion. Beach was beautiful, always chairs! Locals around a lot on the beach. JR in the market down the beach is awesome! !

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: One of my best so far!

My cousin and I booked this resort last minute and ao glad we did. The staff are great, the rooms were very comfortable and the food was on point! I would definitely return ....met some really awesome people as well

Couples Negril: Loved our stay at Couples Negril

Message to Couples Negril: Whatever you do, DON'T fire the Chef! Food was oustanding! Our compliments to the Chef and his team! Absolutely everything we ate, was delicious! We just loved it! That was what we appreciated the most. We liked the small size of the resort (200 or so rooms). Vegetation is lush, rooms are extremely clean. The food is outstanding! The service is excellent; the response time when we asked for something was incredibly fast! The beach is clean; plenty of lounge chairs  [... read more]and chair mattresses at the beach and at the pool; all in good condition. Plenty of clean beach towels. Everything was wonderful. My husband and I would give this resort A+ (9 out of 10), and would recommend it to anyone without reservation! Thank you.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: 4 star at best

4 star resort with some 5 star staff. resort starting to show some age. average pool and beach above average food average rooms but beware you get what you paid for before unpacking as the large groups push couples and singles away from ocean, pool and restaurants. resort adds locals and cruise ship traffic to boost numbers during slower periods. watch for big "time share" push.

Riu Reggae: Amazing resort

We arrived at the resort at 11:30 am the check in was fast. The was ready at 2:30 so still had plenty of time to eat and drink. The food was awesome and lots to choose from. The whole resort is well laid out everything is close so no long distance walking. The al a carts did not need reservations and was no problem getting in every night. JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Exceeded Expectations

Facilities, room, restaurants/food and staff were excellent. We have travelled to many all inclusives and believe this one is fabulous. Pool and beach area are lovely. The only negative was that I'm not sure the hotel has figured out the best system for making use of the butler service. They were always asking us if they could do anything but didn't offer to do something for us. For example, we made our own reservations at the restaurants simply because by the time the butler came around ,  [... read more]we had already done it. We also stumbled upon the wellness pool because friends had a massage and were informed about the pool at that time. The butler didn't mention this to us. I hope they sort this out because it was an outstanding vacation.

Riu Reggae: New resort- rave review!

Start to finish- excellent value. From the superb accommodations, food, drink, activities and the best service of any tropical destination! Loved Jamaica and the people. One love. One heart! I would recommend this resort 100%.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice Resort - had some issues

Beach and Pools were nice and clean. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was not amazing it was average. For a 5-Star resort I was expecting better food at the buffet and more selection. The hotel pre-booked our A Le Carte's and booked us on the same day as the wedding. We were promised four A Le Carte's but only received 1. They wouldn't do anything for the pre bookings so I was disappointed by that. We also lost power for multiple days which was a bit annoying. I wo [... read more]uld have felt better if the hotel management would have let us know what was going on, why the power was out, and what they were doing to fix it. Instead we were left in the dark...literally. Thank goodness we were down there with a good group of people. We definitely did not have a 5-star experience but enjoyed the weather and the company of each other none the less.
