Cayo Levantado Resort: Almost perfect

Luxurious, well-maintained, scrupulously clean property. Wonderful staff. Food is plentiful, varied, and beautifully presented. Ranges in quality from superb to not-so-great, but is mostly quite good. Definitely no worries about bacteria or parasites. Pools and beach are terrific. Beds are a little on the hard side.

When we arrived at the airport and cleared customs, we were directed to bus #9 . I was displeased that we had to wait sitting in the bus for a whole hour before the bus actually moved to go to the resort....I find this totally unacceptable... When you get arrive after a long flight, customers are understandably impatient to get to their hotel and being held up for an hour, shows a severe lack of customer orientation....In previous years for other resorts, the wait was an acceptable 15 minut [... read more]es The grounds are very well maintained...the walks were always spotless... The pool was cleaned every day and there were a lot of lawn chairs and umbrella's(palapas).... The restrooms(banos) have attendants cleaning them all day....You have to get to the pool early to reserve a good spot but then this is normal for this type of resort... The buildings are 3 stories so you have to expect some stairs....the rooms were cleaned without fail every day...some of the buildings are somewhat far from the beach...The common rooms are spacious, well lit and the waitresses keep the drinks flowing...Too often the music is the boring typical repetitive carribean sounds (that I don't like) Just don't expect rock and roll more than once a week. The staff all over the resort appreciate tips.....most people give out US dollar bills.... They have many "gourmet restaurants e.g..Mexican, japanese, mediterranean, italian etc....The food and the service in these is exemplary, the atmosphere pleasant and I would recommend them yet the buffets and the food they serve therein is beyond reproach . In closing, I found this resort way too big and I would select a different resort if I return to Punta Cana...

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort

The resort was amazing. The grounds were very clean, public area was very inviting, rooms were always kept clean, the food was always very goods with a good variety, then entertainment was also good by could have been more entertaining or a better variety.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best Resort

Everything about Luzury Bahia Principe is amazing. This was our second stay, first time was June 2016 and now Feb 2018. The staff, activities, property, rooms, drinks and food are all excellent. There are so many great a la cart options (do the gourmet!). They offer so many activities like water balloon fights in the pool, ping pong, huge chess, pool basketball, pool volleyball, water aerobics, poolside bingo, archery, tennis, basketball and so much more! On the flip side if you prefer to veg poolside and enjoy nothing more than the sun and peace and quiet with a drink in hand, they also have pools that are more relaxed with no music. Sian kaan is the best. I would highly recommend!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Wonderful experience and great resort

We enjoyed our room so close to all the amenities. We could listen to the music from our patio. We were concerned about noise there but at 11 pm all was quiet. Maid service was great and never did we need to wait for them to clean the room. They seem to work around our schedule and rooms were cleaned when we got back. So grateful to Josephina that she ensured we had our drinks ready prior to dinner. Alta Gracia was an amazing woman. Always entertaining. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Excellent beach, very good resort

The highlight of this resort is the beach. No rocks, fun waves. Very easy to get a lounge chair - no need to wake up early. Resort is beautiful and spotless. Food is average to very good. Nothing bad but nothing excellent.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Runaway Bay, Lux Grand Bahai Principe

Our accommodation were great, we were disappointed in that we asked for two beds and a pool or sea view. We were told that they did NOT receive this request and in future we were to PERSONALLY phone and request this. The resort was SUPERB Beautiful, Cleanliness outstanding, staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, food was good. Entertainment FIRST CLASS, This was our first time in Jamaica and were we concerned about safety etc. We felt SAFE, WELL looked after, Welcomed and LOVED it.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Exceptional resort!

We have travelled throughout the Caribbean. This was our first time to Mexico. To say the Sian Ka'an at the Luxury Bahia Principe exceeded our expectations is an understatement. It is smaller than the other 3 Bahia Principe resorts surrounding it and set "off beach" in the jungle. It was beautiful and tranquil. A trolley car system (we never waited more than 10 minutes) took us to any of the other resorts within minutes. It was the best kept beach section in the area - a crew of resort employees worked all day every day to remove the seaweed that washed ashore and they were constantly raking the sand. The resort itself is only 6 years old and beautiful in every aspect. The rooms are large and have high-end finishes that I've not seen in an all inclusive style resort. The employees at the Siam Ka'an were friendly, and genuine in their efforts to provide exceptional service. From the bar servers, to the cleaning staff, we were always met with an "Ola" and friendly smile. I can't say enough about how awesome our experience was. Paridise found! We will definitely be back.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort

We go down to the Dominican every year and this hotel was the cleanest and best taken care of that I can remember. The beach was well taken care of and people always raking up any seaweed that came ashore. The food was good and the staff was super. The evening shows were very well put on and excellent entertainers. The only draw back was the housekeeping, where we had to call to get our room cleaned and they repeatedly forgot to leave enough towels or facecloths or restock the fridge. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Khan

The service and food at the Sian Khan was excellent. The rooms are starting to show their age and needs updating ie retiling, needs to add storage. We stayed 10 days...at the end the trolley ride to the beach starts to get to you. The grounds are well maintained and exceptional. Its a golfers paradise.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Fantastic resort - LOVED IT!!!!

I loved staying at an only adult resort, it was my first time. The great thing about this resort, you could go next door to the family resort and enjoy their facilities as well. The bartenders were great always kept my drink full. The buffets were good as well, same as any resort you get tired of buffet all the time but we did go to 5 A La Carte restaurants which were great. The resort was clean and well kept up daily. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Seaweed battle

Resort was good but an army of staff fought a loosing battle with seaweed every morning. Some days, the majority of the beach area were inundated by seaweed. Staff was great and food was good. Immaculate grounds

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very nice resort

The hotel was constantly being serviced and tended and it showed. The restaurants were very well stocked and the grounds were beautiful. The beaches were not 100%, but adequate. Access to wifi was limited.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Good resort

As other reviewers have said, this resort is very big. However it is still quite walkable, and while the trolly is almost always there waiting for you, we tended to walk more. We stayed in building 1 of Royal Golden, so at the beach end, and it probably took 10-15 minutes to walk to the lobby. Again, it wasn't really an issue at all!! ...but it is nice to be a short walk away from everything - it is more intimate and you get to know the staff and other guests better. We ate at the Italian restaurant, the Mexican restaurant and the Grill and enjoyed them all. Italian was my favourite. The room was fine, we requested a playpen/pack and play, which was in the room.. but it was mouldy. I didn't bother asking for another one. We just didn't use it very much. The employees were lovely and helpful. The pool closest to the beach is definitely the party area, while the pool in the middle was a bit more tame, and better suited to families/mixed groups. Overall we enjoyed everything, the food was pretty good and we felt safe.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great Vacation

Start by saying it’s a two hour bus ride on 50 minute like Air Canada says plus it’s a 3* not a 41/2 as Air Canada says however the resort is very clean small rooms but very clean fridge filled daily beautiful land scraping and great for anyone with mobility issues nice and flat . The food was great a good selection and the a la carted were great book your own in line and you can great four which is nice. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great

The hotel was great but should highlight the stairs in the lobby better. My husband, who is disabled fell down them and I also saw two other people fall. If you walk up the stairs, you see the signs but there are no signs that there is a step going down. The lighting in the lobby was poor. I saw one guy slip and fall, and not one person from the hotel came to assist him. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Bahia Principe

This is the second time travelling to this resort. We chose to go back because of the wonderful experience we had last time. Overall the grounds were kept beautifully, rooms were clean and staff was great. The buffet food was never hot(only if it was cooked in front of you), lack of hot water and water pressure in 4/6 rooms. The bugs were terrible. Some of our group including myself were covered in bites. The drinks were good, however lobby bar closes at 11pm which forces you to the disco to d [... read more]rink with the 20 year olds. Not our cup of tea. The booking through trip central was easy! They are always great there. Even upgraded us to suites, which was great!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: OK resort

AC in my room leaked on my clothes making them wet and unwearable for a day. Felt like a second class citizen when I was asked to leave area of beach reserved for those who paid more $. Food just ok. I paid a lot because it was Feb break so I've had a lot better for a lot less $. Not terrible. But not great.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Heaven on earth!

This place was heaven for us. Great food, great pools (beach was small with big waves), rooms were super clean and big. Lots of lounge chairs at the beach and pools. But what stood out the most was the service. Everyone had a smile on their face and worked very hard to please us. This was our second time there. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: remains top choice

I've done a pantload of these, what I refer to as "cheap and cheerful sun vacations" all over the carribe and Bahia is my top choice. The grounds are beautiful, the food is pretty darn good, and the beach is spectacular. The rooms are, fresh, large and clean. Not everyone might appreciate the size but I personally enjoy it-it is vast. My only complaint is the same this time as last--some male crew really take liberties.
