Riu Santa Fe: Love this resort

The Rui Santa Fe in Cabo has been our choice for six years in a row now and will be next year too. The new improved wifi works almost everywhere except in the rooms now. The specialty restaurants are on a first come first served system now. No standing in line to book them this time. The buffet has an amazing display of food and very friendly servers. The night shows are always entertaining. I really think this area is the safest in all of Mexico. ♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️

Riu Bambu: Charming family resort

Small charming resort. Easy to get around, beautiful beach with access to other RIU properties. Felt safe, friendly staff, and a variety of food to choose from. Pool activities and nightly. Entertainment. A very enjoyable week.

Riu Emerald Bay: great place

this is our 6th or 7th time to this resort the staff are amazing from front desk to maintance they always have a smile and a hola the rooms are clean as a whip ex. view. elevators are not as bad as people let on. the food has a great assortment if you go hungary here its because you are hung over.

Riu Tequila: A great experience!

I was really impressed by the quality of this resort. Proximity to beach, downtown, stores and various attractions is perfect. Food was amazing at all restaurants. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Room was spacious, nice and well stocked. Matresses not the most comfortable though. Housekeeping was great and all staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. Evening entertainment between supper and club opening was a bit boring for us twenty-somethings. Riu Palace Paradise Island: Wonderful and relaxing

While the decor was slightly outdated, we had a wonderful time at the Riu Palace. The staff were all amazing and kind, everyone (and I mean everyone) made sure we were happy and comfortable for our entire stay. The beach and access were beautiful and felt safe to walk on and enjoy the view. The food at the resort was delicious. We ate at the Krystal and the Gourmet restaurants as well as the Buffet. It definitely needs a little updating, but I think they are planning that anyway. The pool was nice enough.... could have used a hot tub though. The three days we were there were quite windy and cool. We used the gym area and it was nice as well, weights from 5lbs up to 50lbs and machines, also cold water available -- was lacking towels for wiping perspiration as it was incredible hot in the gym. Overall we had a wonderful time, drank delicious drinks, ate amazing food and relaxed fully! Was totally worth what we paid.

Riu Vallarta: Amazing Resort

The resort was one of the best we've ever stayed at. The food was fantastic and continuously being served at the poolside, the ocean view side and even in the main lounge. There was such a variety of food and the food was tasty and the presentation was beautiful. The grounds were impeccable and clean. They had something going on every evening in the courtyard eg. jazz band, modern music band another night, drinks set up every evening in the courtyard and this was before the show started. Th [... read more]e cleanliness of the building, the rooms, washrooms were excellent. The beach was fantastic, clean and lots of beach beds available as was at the poolside. The pool was very clean. The employees bent over backward to make you happy and comfortable. Nothing was too much for them to do for you. I would definitely go to another Riu Hotel in any country if they're all like this one.

Riu Reggae: Not for us!

Very disappointing stay. Other than a staff who do their very best we left wondering why RIU even bothered to build this resort. Such a small footprint there is no room to get away from the loud noise-- music, people, airplanes-- other than going to your room. Beach is tiny, water murky, sand everywhere,no shade, crowded loungers. Went for breakfast and headed for the RIU Montego Bay 5 minute walk to spend the day. Wish we had waited for reviews and would have known beforehand.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Bahama-mama

Overall we would give this resort 3 out of 5 stars. I was surprised and a little disappointed to see that the Riu did not live up to the reputation of a resort in the "Bahamas". While it was an enjoyable trip there were a few things that could have been much better. Having paid for an all-inclusive get away I was irritated to find out at check in that the a la carte meals were first-come first-serve and we were unable to make reservations. After spending the day by the pool or on the beach i [... read more]t was an inconvenience to get ready for 6:30 dinner only to be turned away after waiting in line for a half hour. While the buffet was delicious I felt that we were a little over-dressed for the meal as we had dressed for a proper dinner service. While it didn't bother me that much, it was a little awkward to have some staff ask us to get them drinks and food. Pros -pool was warm, plenty of seating -front desk staff very welcoming and helpful -early check in due to early morning arrival -room was very clean, excellent maid service -food was delicious, good variety, friendly wait staff -access to Atlantis was convenient -luggage storage before and after check-in while waiting to leave for the airport Cons -bartending, towel and beach staff were not friendly or attentive -lack of night entertainment -a la carte restaurants closed with no notice -no music on the pool deck during the day

Riu Ocho Rios: Good time

Everything good. Staff very good. It would be even better if you could go to the a la carte restaurants without waiting in line, but no a big deal since the buffet food was good. I found the flooring very slippery so I walked carefully. A piano bar would be a nice addition. Some of the evening performance was very good.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Really satisfied with the hotel resort

The hotel had amazing grounds not too large. Very easy to access all the areas including the three pools. The rooms were clean and quite large and all had balconies. The resort offered fantastic food including restaurants. I was impressed with the buffet. so many options to choose from but above all each and every dish was delicious! I'm very picky eater yet the fresh fish and Variety offered was very impressive. This hotel has amazing service. This is my third time at this resort and each and every time I go I am more and more impressed The beach is so comfortable and easy to access from the resort. I'm happy to report that this year they've included umbrellas on the beautiful white sand beach which is a huge bonus Again the service is impeccable and I would like to see more travellers tipping. It's really sad to see that many do not considering the impeccable service

Riu Santa Fe: Incredible time

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it does not disappoint. What a fantastic resort and what fantastic food. Thanks so much. The rooms were spectacular and the views were incredible. The staff worked very hard and were very friendly for the entire stay.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Amazing Resort & Friendly Staff

My husband and I stayed at the resort from Dec 2 to Dec 9 and we had the most amazing time. We saw monkeys, turtles, snakes and the animals sounds coming from the trees each morning is truly something you need to get up early to hear. The rooms were clean and stocked and resort grounds were immaculate. Bring bug spray as you will need it in the evening. The entertainment was great. I have a food allergy and was very anxious about what I could eat at the resort. When I arrived I spoke with the f [... read more]ront desk and they provided me with a letter explaining my food allergy & what the kitchen staff needed to do to ensure that there was no cross contamination. I would provide to the restaurant manager the letter and he would bring out the chef who either make me a special meal or we would through the buffet and he would point out the safe foods for me. A special thank to Ramon and his team. To Jean Carlos. To William at the Steakhouse who ensured I could eat safely. To all the staff at the RIU your friendly attitude, you smiles & laughs made it a beautiful place to vacation.

Riu Vallarta: Great resort

The resort is well kept the grounds are always clean if yiur looking for a older crowd to relax this is the place. FOOD is typical ai food nothing to brag about but you will find something Drinks are cold pop is terrible unless from a bottle

Riu Merengue: Beautiful Resort

We found our overall stay amazing. The hotel was clean and the staff and servers were very friendly and quick. The food was really good and the entertainment was always great to see. We did have rain everyday, but no one can predict the weather when booking a trip but we still got our sunny days and a great tan.

Riu Guanacaste: Great resort

Great resort, food,rooms,staff ,garden and beach are well care for. Internet is only free in the reception area. If you want it in your room its $70.00 US dollar per week. It is a non-smoking resort, no smoking on balcaney or anywhere. There are four small smoking area which are not sign post very well. It took us a week to find the one in front of the hotel. I understand not smoking indoor but you should be able to smoke on you Balcaney. I would only recommend to my non smoking friend [... read more]s.

Riu Reggae: Great Resort

The hotel was new, clean and very modern. The rooms were a bit small and the mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable. The beach was small but being able to walk through the other resorts made it more enjoyable. The food was very good. The salad bar was well done. I love all Jamaican people and the staff was trying but still need to learn some skills. The shows were entertaining especially the Michael Jackson show.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Good place for a comfortable stay.

This was our second stay this year (2016) at this hotel. Its very central and safe location is what has appealed to us very much. It is a medium size resort, located right on a very nice beach with the easiest possible access to public or private transportation. We have used public buses often and have very positive experience. Riu Palace Costa Rica: Quality vacation

This Resort me and even exceeded all our expectations - we have been to 10 Riu Palaces and we know we will unless weather is bad, we wil not be disappointed. The grounds are immaculate. The pools are spacious and the water temperature is warm. Buffet and specialty restaurants of of very good quality. Only 40-minutes from airport, located on a long, wide sandy beach with easy access to ocean. Lots of worthwhile excursions offered, and a big new zip-line is next door. Riu Reggae: It's Average

The Riu Reggae is overall an average hotel. Public areas are modern and sleek, but the rooms show signs of being rushed. Our room was cleaned between 4 and 6 pm every day, when we were tired and wanted some time to get ready for dinner. They either need more housekeeping staff or a better schedule. Pluses were the staff and the food - both amazing. Great selection of tasty offerings for all meals at the buffet. Roger at the jerk hut was great! Wouldn't stay here again as there is better value to be had in Jamaica, but if you get a good price go ahead and book! Good location close to the airport in Montego Bay.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Amazing.

Hotel was excellent and Every one was pleasant to deal with and service was pretty good. We all being vegetarian the the choices and quality of food was great. We enjoyed the other amenities like lobby, pool and beach. The place is very neat and clean. The rooms were excellent with ocean views.
