Couples Tower Isle: Absolutely perfect
We loved that it was a small resort, just steps to everything you need. The staff here were outstanding! It was an Anniversary, 50th Birthday vacation and it couldn't have been better! The food at all of the restaurants was wonderful, but the private dinner on the island was the best! (Bayside was nice location but the food could have been hotter, very tasty otherwise)
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: AMAZING RESORT
This was one of the best hotels I ever stayed at .Everything was excellent from staff ,food and accommodations...I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel...Thanks trip central ...
Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Very good but one major dissapointment
No real surprises. It was consistent with all reviews we had seen before. The facility was great, the beach was fine, the food was, in fact, very good and the staff were very friendly. Generally what we have come to expect with Iberostar. We were celebrating a big event in our lives and we were visiting an Iberostar resort for the seventh time...we are loyal Iberostar clients! But the disappointment to us was that the cold and aloof staff at the front desk gave us one of the worst room locati [... read more]
Sunscape Splash: Amazing, Fun Filled, Great Food
The hotel is clean and the staff go beyond to make you happy. The ocean is right there, within a few feet of where you can sit and have supper with candles and lights. Hearing the waves rush in. Was amazing. I think some of the friendliness staff i have meet, i travel at least three times a year. The shows are great. The disco,,, yea man. The drinks even better. I have only ever been to Jamaica once. I will be back and back to that resort. Totally pleased with everything about it. Than [... read more]
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: It was an amazing resort
Grounds were immaculate, food was great and abundant, so were the drinks. Staff were friendly and always helpful. We have no complaints whatsoever. We would def like to visit again very soon and will recommend to family and friends.
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Such a great vacation
The resort was awesome, very clean, well maintained. Nice pools; cool water slides, and lazy river :) Childrens play area had fun water features and water slides. Staff were amazing, so polite, happy, pleased to serve you. Our room service was excellent. Food was very good all in all, service at the steak house was very slow - only drawback. We had a couple of excursions, half day to Dunn's Falls - great experience, highly recommend. Also did luminous lagoon - very entertaining and fun evening.
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Not the Royalton 5 star Experience I expected!
I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Mexico and stayed in many 4 and 4+ star resorts. I was somewhat disappointed with this 5 star resort. Upon arrival at the hotel I was informed that my room would not be ready until 5:30 p.m. My understanding was that check in was 3:00 p.m. I was given a room on the 3rd floor overlooking a massive flat roof at the front of building overlooking the street and noise of the locals. It made it very difficult to catch a nap late afternoon. I ha [... read more]
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Just ok.
We had trouble checking in with the resort, even though we were part of a wedding group that had been booked for months & months in advance. My fiance and I did not get the king bed we requested. We were told they didn't have any room for us and for another guest of the party when we arrived. We waited approximately 20 minutes and were given a room with a twin bed and a double bed, which was dirty. The tv was left on, the bathroom was dirty, and the bed sheets had sand in them. I can only imagin [... read more]
Grand Palladium Jamaica: just okay
Rooms were fine. Pool bar amazing service thanks too simone and Alexis .the sports bar was great food. Buffets had a very minimal selection if you arent a fan of meat. Restaurants you should definitely reserve or you will be waiting a very long time. Not senior friendky at all. The grounds need more people picking up debris. The gardeners will approach you along with other staff to try and sell you dope.
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Royalton white sands
The overall look of the Hotel is nice, clean and inviting as you drive up. The beach is nice but small on the White Sands side. You can't walk very far without being asked to buy smoke or souvenirs. Rooms were clean but our Room had a single adjoined door that you can hear conversations through...not very private. We had hot water all week and the rain shower is great although it would have been nice to have a bathtub as well. No 24hr restaurant or bar other than room service. We were told b [... read more]
Couples Sans Souci: 8 out of 10
We have been to about 20 resorts in the past 10 years and I would say this one rates an 8/10. It is a smaller resort - which was nice. They only have (3) restaurants but ever single meal was great! And nicely presented as well. We were a little disappointed when we first arrived and were taken to our room. We had specifically paid a higher amount to have a 1 bedroom beachfront. It was not a 1 bedroom. It was just a regular hotel room with the bed in the middle with the couch, TV etc. i.e. [... read more]
Couples Tower Isle: Couples Tower Isle, Jamaica
This resort was 5 star service was above and beyond very friendly and always asking if everything is ok. The food was excellent with a wide variety with something different everyday. Free room service was fast and efficient. Beach party was free of charge with buffet dinner on the beach with fabulous entertainment every night. Would diffently recommend this resort.
Sandals South Coast: Stunning resort!
We really loved this resort from the moment we arrived we were very well taken care of. We splurged and got the club level room and I do recommend it not only to have beverages in the room but they will take care of everything for you. It was our first all inclusive experience and we were very satisfied. The ride to and from the resort to the airport was not too pleasant but the hotel was worth it! Our room was very nice however we did not spend a lot of time in there. We are not huge ocean peo [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Simply amazing
Well first of all we where greeted by a most amazing butler, Sheron. She gave us a tour of the grounds, introduced us to the staff and treated us like royalty during our whole stay. Now we are privilege members with the Grand Bahia and this trip was booked without our privilege status and we where treated better than a privilege member. Simply awsome vacation.
Riu Reggae: Work to be done still
This hotel is in its early stages....They need to address the lack of seating @ the a la carts, first & foremost, in addition to the inability to walk the beach @ the Riu Palace in order to get over to the Riu Mo Bay. The entertainment was sketchy, with decent shows 3 out of the 7 nights. We had a great time as we were on vacation, but we've been to Jamaica multiple times and expected more from Riu as we are a fan & repeat customers of the chain. Issues with room (no water), were addresse [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great time!!
We stayed November 19-26 in block 18 on the 3rd floor. The rooms were excellent and very clean. Food was great and plenty of options. Although we got stuck with clouds and rain all week we still had an amazing time and would highly recommend this resort.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Nice Resort
Great room, nice people, good food. Very clean. Need more al a carte restaurants as they were booked every night. Lobby bar needs to be expanded to accommodate servers. Sharon the butler went above and beyond her duties.
Riu Reggae: Open too soon
I think that this resort was not ready and opened too soon. Many of the problems were a direct result of not having enough time to finish the details. Small things that in total resulted in a forgettable experience.
Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Very nice resort
Pros: Well kept grounds, beautiful landscaping, great hotel room, comfortable bed with good quality linens. Many restaurants to pick for both buffet or a la carte dining. Cons: We stayed at the great house and we had to get the 'HOP' - the bus to go to the seaside. The buses would come every 10 minutes, no waiting time involved...but it would have been nice to just take a walk to the beach rather than bussing.
Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Great value resort
First, the staff at Fun Holiday make a tremendous effort to please their guests. The location is 4 star right on the beach which is great for swimming or boating. There are also lots of places to check out along the beach. Food is good for a three star hotel. Rooms are ok but could do with some sound dampening décor to reduce room to room noise. Especially where two room are joined by a door.
