Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great resort

Rooms were well appointed and clean. Grounds were lush and beautiful as well as very maintained. The beaches were fantastic! The best beach ever. Serene, calm and very relaxing. The food was also good. There was always fresh grilled meats and seafood. There were also very little bugs.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Lots of Fun

We visited for the 1st week of May and had great weather and really enjoyed the location. Hotel staff was great with Charlie (Carlos) and Eli by the pool bar and Nurika our maid (probably spelled wrong, sorry about that) being the stand outs. I really liked the location and found the easy access to Varadero to be a real plus. The food was not my favorite but that's mostly because I can be too fussy. Must be seen to be appreciated. Would definitely check out a few Fidel videos on YouTube before going vice watching them once we returned home. A great trip all around and a wonderful resort experience as well.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Wonderful hotel

Travelled for our 25th wedding anniversary the first week of May...highly recommend this Iberostar...we had been to the Iberostar in the Mayan and hoped this one was equal to that and it was( perhaps a little better ) the only thing we would have liked to see is more professional entertainment in the evenings( even though the staff was working as hard as they could to entertain and encourage the tourists to participate)

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Lovely resort

Food was good. The Japanese a la cartel was the best part of the trip, highly recommend! Beautiful beach. Nice clean rooms. Good layout. Pool was big and nice, needed a bit cleaning! Best pina colada mix ever! Very happy stay!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Iberostar Costa Dorada

Overall, really enjoyed our stay! If you are a younger student, there are not too many young partiers here. However, the pool bar always offered a good time shared by all ages. The disco on the resort is usually close to empty but the off-resort bar just a minute walk away is very busy (just make sure you have a male with you so you are safe!). Very good service, clean, and an enjoyable place to stay!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Amazing TIME

Went with my best friend to the Iberostar Costa Dorada. We had an amazing time. Always things to do, the wet bar was the place to be. The nightclub on resort was good for pre-drinks.. but the club right beisde the resort was the place to be (kavier). It wasn't live till after 2pm mind you. Food was good, hospitality was great.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Perfect size and great price point

The staff at this resort make it worthwhile. Varadero Beach is amazing however at Playa Alameda you have three levels of beach..One is where the huts are but go early if you want a blue(new) chair..most of the yellow ones should be discarded. show up before 730 ...the second level is flat and lots of it ..then u have the final level to the water ~~~ clean and crystal clear The pool was nice and clean. The shows I was not impressed with sorry to say. The disco at night was lots of fun !! Music was fantastic !! you can always request music from the DJ he is also accommodating and a great dancer as well!!

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Excellent Resort

This was my fourth time in Cuba and it was a world of difference from other resorts I've stayed at. The hotel itself was very well-maintained, constantly cleaned. The service was friendly from all staff. The food was incredible for Cuba! They were doing construction on the beach during my stay (April 23-30) so that took away from the ambience a bit but nothing that would ruin the trip. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Small, cozy and really nice reasort ! Relaxing

$5 minutes from the airport. Love the fact that it was a small resort. Everything was not to far. Renovated with ocean view room were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The people were amazing. The beach was shallow and really beautiful. Kite boarding (surfing) spot ! (But not too windy to be on the beach and relax...) Food was really good for a Cuban resort, we were impressed. We went to Pilar beach, it was an amazing beach (take a 5 pesos bus, 15 minutes ride) and worth the ride.

I just got back from a 7 day vacation at iberostar costa doroda. first of all i will say that this resort is for everyone no matter what age. They literally have activities for everyone. They have so many activities not only for kids but for adults too. the pool is where most of the action happens. next, the beach, it wasnt like coral blue water or white sand but it was a good beach. its not the best if you are looking to only go there for the beach but they do have a beach volleyball court and a san soccer complex. they also have 2 days where lunch is served on the beach. it was so good. the only annoying thing at the beach is the vendors at the beach they are so annoying but if you say no thank you they walk away. the food was so good. they had alot of variety and it tasted so good. all of the a la cartes were great the japaese one is the very best. they also had food open all the time so you were never hungry. the room was nice not like amazing but you arent in your room very much anyway. all of the staff that worked there was so helpful. everyone was so great and i would recommend this resort to anyone. it was worth the money and the event staff is so amazing.

Hotel Mojito: Great resort,but wouldn't book with HolaSun again

Resort is great., been there twice now...as always great people,service,beach..hmmm good. Flight however wasn't enjoyed...plane & crew ✈ didn't show up.thanks god we were not traveling with kids and infants. Still waiting for monetary reimbursement for one lost day. Rather than that would book this trip again....Viva Cuba...small but independent

Hotel Mojito: Excellent vacation!!

The grounds are beautiful the grounds keepers do a wonderful job. We were in building 18 ground floor, the rooms do need updating but they are comfortable, housekeeping do an amazing job they keep the rooms spotless and always have a smile. Food is good, there's a good variety, at the buffet there's choices of pasta, grilled chicken, beef and fish. There's a snack bar by the pool that makes excellent pizzas and at the beach they offer burgers,hot dogs and fries. The beach is a 5min. walk from th [... read more]e main area of the resort but well worth it. There are plenty of beach cabanas and chairs and the men that work on the beach are very helpful. The beach is beautiful, it's one of the reason we keep going back along with the people who work at this resort, they are so friendly and appreciative. The service level of this resort is truly why I rated it a five instead of a four. Service: From check-in to check-out all of the staff at the Iberostar went above and beyond. On my birthday they put a birthday cake and beautiful flowers in our room. You could tell how much pride the maids have in their jobs, we were sure to tip them a few dollars everyday and in return we were left with beautiful towel art and a spotless room. The animation team were all very friendly and not at all pushy like they are at some resorts, they really made the pool area a little more interesting however, the nightly shows aren't much to rave about. Room: Our room had two double beds and was a perfect size. The safe was digital so you didn't have to worry about losing a key, and the shower was very large and had decent water pressure. The wifi didn't work well in our room, but it did work on the balcony. Food: The food was really good, and the beach BBQ is not to be missed. The food was somewhat repetitive so don't try to eat everything at each meal, you'll have plenty of time to try everything thoughout the week. The Japanese restaurant was good, and a nice change from the buffet. The main buffet has better food at lunch than the pool buffet. Pool/beach: We didn't spend most time at the beach, the waters were rough and had a lot of seaweed. We did walk along the beach though and there were plenty of chairs and shaded areas, definitely a quiet place to relax. The pool is where we spent most of our time, to get a shaded chair you must put your towels out around 7am. Most activities happened around one side of the pool so if you wanted a quieter place to lay out, pick the pool end near the lobby. I did find the pool a little deep, I am 5ft tall and couldn't touch the bottom in the main section of the pool, I can swim but I find on vacation I like to be able to stand around the pool! I would definitely return to this resort, it was small enough that you get to know a lot of the guests and staff, I would also recommend this resort to anyone who enjoys a smaller feel.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing value for Cuba

We loved this resort and would return! Beach awesome, pool bar, entertainment ! Food even better! Pleasantly surprised !!you have worries going to Cuba but not here, service wonderful, clean , rooms extra clean, no worries for towels or loungers !!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful resort!

We travelled to Iberostar Laguna Azul from April 9th to the 16th and had the most fabulous time! Beautiful resort and even though it was a large resort everything was easy to find. Also enjoyed the food at the buffet and our servers were the most friendly and kind staff there! Tried the Romantico and the Japanese restaurant, both served fabulous food but the Japanese one was # 1. Our room was large with a king bed and a small sitting area. There was a couple issues but got resolved very quickly. [... read more] Pools were very clean and we spent alot of time there during the day. Beach was beautiful and large but only took in late afternoon walks. We went on one excursion to Havana and it was well worth the money. If you do nothing else do take this trip. We hired a taxi and our tour guide was Irene ( fabulous young lady and spoke English very well), highly recommend her! Overall this was great trip for us and I would definitely go back again!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: This is a Fantastic Resort, Amazing!!!!

Very Clean, All Employees very friendly, they were very nice and took the time to get to know you! The Food was amazing, the service was amazing, I must have gained 10 pounds! We couldn't have asked for better weather. The Rooms always kept clean and very comfortable. I wish I could have taken the bed home with me.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Best trip home ever!!

I went to the Iberostar Rose Hall for my birthday, and my twin last minute got sick and couldn't make it. Depressed, alone, and on vacation... And the staff made everything perfect! Not only did they have a cake for me (which they replaced quickly once they realized ants got to it before I did!), the entertainment staff celebrated with me at the disco, and everyone at the front desk made it a point to say "Happy Birthday" all week while I was there! Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great Dollar. Value

Recently spent 2 weeks at this lovely little hotel. Good food nice beach . rooms need an upgrade but are clean . staff are fabulous .only complaint this time and have been to this resort before is difficulty getting a cababa on the beach as people claimed them early in morning with toweks but never turnef uo till late in the day. Resort needs to work on that.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Good resort

The hotel was nice and clean. Grounds were perfect and nicely groomed. Food was very excellent. Only negative was buffet wasn't very big , but had what you needed. Rooms were spacious and clean as the room fridge was stocked regularly. Pools were clean and had games going on most of the day. The shows at night were really good. Better then I'd expect. Props to all the star friends for putting on a good show and taking care of all the guests to keep them busy.

The hotel was nice, a little weathered. The Staff was awesome, the beach was beautiful and the pool area wonderful!! The concerns I have were with the food and them running out of specific foods. I would probably not return but would recommend to a friend as an OK resort.
