Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Awesome Resort

Everything about this resort is perfect. The service, the lobby is amazing, the beach is so good after going to Pilar beach one day, i decided Iberostar Daiquiri's beach was just as good. The Air Canada Rep was very helpful at the resort, the trip to and from the hotel were great with knowledgeable staff.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great Resort

Food was very good, rooms were nice, good beach, great nightly entertainment. staff were very helpful. We found the daily excursions getting quite expensive. Lobby was very attractive. One day they did a great paella lunch on the beach which was great.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Well Worth the Money

I have traveled quite often over the past 10 years and this resort was ideal for many reasons. Although this resort was small, it was very compact and everything was close to each other. The hotel was very clean, the food was decent and the wait staff everywhere on the resort was exceptional. Also, the cost was very reasonable. This was the cheapest that I have ever paid for a trip in 10 years and this resort was well worth every penny I spent.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort

Was a great hotel the staff are fantastic, truly go above and beyond for the guests. Went down for a wedding with a group of 27 had a great week, would recommend and would return for another vacation.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Beautiful Beach

Just returned from seven days at the Iberostar Tainos, the staff are amazing and the beach is outstanding!!!! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be!! The resort does need some updating, the entry way, the stair case , the lobby furniture, the bedding just to name a few! The food does get repetitious but the staff once again try very very hard to make it enjoyable! The rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff work hard. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Will return again. Night show at the Disco needs more space and chairs. Other than that everything was beautiful. Loved the beach. The food was really good. Nice renovated rooms

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Excellent vacation

We were there from April 6 to 13, 2016 Check -in was efficient and quick. The rooms were well maintained and cleaning staff friendly, courteous and very helpful. The high number of beach beds and availability of towels was a welcome relief from other resorts, The food and services in the main hall as well as all the specialty restaurants was consistently of very good to excellent quality with impeccable service. The service and bar staff were always quick to cater to our wants and did not appea [... read more]r to react to tipping. One small note: at the surf and turf restaurant, forget the Caesar salad. Other that that feast away. We had the good fortune to have three butlers who each in his own way made our stay a most pleasant experience. Oscar, Rafael and Boom Boom always responded to our request with a sense of urgency. What was even more impressive is that even when things were not done immediately (which was rare), each one made it a point to let us know where they were at and their next step in meeting our requests. Mr. Pastor, the head butler, should feel good that the people he leads are well trained and so helpful. The check-out was also very efficient and we would like to thank Rafael at the front desk for keeping everything easy and simple. The leadership of the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro should be proud of the competence, courtesy and friendliness of a staff that were always very helpful in making this vacation one of our best in the Caribbean's Thank you.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: 5 star beach and a relaxing atomospher

The staff was excellent and the food for the month of April was overall good and the Cuban and Mexican meal was excellent ..the fruit was off season so missed out on mangos. The grounds was easy to get around for walking distance of 5mins. We disliked our outdated room and had it changed to a newly renovated room. This is a 17year old resort and they need to spend money to update the washrooms the internet room. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great resort!!

This resort was great. The buffet always had a lot to choose from and everything was very tasty, the jerk chicken was amazing and they had the best whipped cream ever. The room was clean and spacious with an ocean view. The staff were very friendly. The beach and pool areas were very nice and the trees on the beach provided shade when needed. The weather was perfect. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing resort!

Everything was fantastic. Everything! Where to start? Food- 2 buffets were so good we wouldn't have missed the a la carts although they were pretty darn good aswell. Not to mention they also have a diner that does not need a reservation. There was also a burger joint a coffee bar and a crepe bar!! Nothing bad can be said about food or service. If you like dancing this is where it's at! It's all ages till 10pm after the adults are free to get their groove on! They had themed nights 70' 80's etc. It was a lot of fun!! Entertainment- the theatre had some sort of show every night. Yes it was a bit high school quality but none the less entertaining. Kids especially seemed to love it. Our entertainment was mostly in the lobby. We love karaoke! And there it was. My husband was in his glory! We would meet up with other people we met at the lobby bar every night. Great times were had by all! Rooms and grounds- it seemed there were always people working. Staff were busy sweeping sidewalks and gardening. The grounds were beautiful. Peacocks flamingos parrots and of coarse the coati made for some great photo ops! We loved the turtle pond off the lobby as well. Our room was kept immaculate. Not a grain of sand was found after they did their magic. And a small tip goes a long way. Our fridge was always fully stocked with dos Equis and water..at our request. It is a large resort but if you are too lazy to walk the golf carts run all day and night taking you where you want to go. We needed a few rides home from the disco. That being said the disco was far enough away that the rooms couldn't hear the rockin party going on. Staff- superior! So friendly and welcoming it was are first stay at iberostar beach but they made us feel like long time friends. I think I've covered it all!! Great resort! Would most definitely recommend to friends and family. I don't think we could have had a better time.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Not as good as last year

The hotel and location was awesome. The hotel staff was great. The food was no where near as good as last year. And I ended up with over 70 sand flee bight on my body. My wife only had a few but this is the second year and the second and our last trip to Cuba.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Awesome vacation

My family and I (kids aged 7 and 10) spent one wonderful week (April 9-16) at this resort. I was there to attend the wedding of a family member. I have traveled to a lot of all-inclusive resorts and must say this one tops them all. The same opinion was shared by family and friends who attended the wedding. The food was great, we only went to two à la carte restaurants and this was only due to the fact that the food at the buffet was great. The staff at this resort, are the ones who make this resort special, they cared about their guests and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beautiful resort

Iberostar Ensenachos is a very clean and very beautiful resort. The pools were gorgeous and lots of shade for those that want it. The food was excellent, the staff were superb. Rooms were nice as well and very large. The beaches were the most amazing beaches ever.

This hotel has everything you need when you think if a southern vacation! Amazing,friendly staff, good food at all 3 restaurants and buffet, yummy drinks at all bars. My 2nd time there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! :)

The Hotel was fantastic. The staff are really very friendly and willing to please. My husband and I were impressed. Our week's stay was very enjoyable. The food was great and offered a variety of choices.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Overall, disgusting!

We were disgusted by the smoking, eating and drinking that was allowed everywhere, even in the pool. There was nowhere that you could escape the smoke, and rules were not enforced. Need segregated areas for smokers so that they don't "kill" the non-smokers and the children who are at the resort. I don't feel that the young children were safe in the pool because of the drink glasses and plates allowed in there.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Mostly good with a few annoyances

I traveled in a group of six...ages 3-51 years. I booked three rooms on the phone with Jenn B instead of online as I wanted to make sure we got two rooms that were connecting rooms. Pros: Sunwing flight, resort layout, excellent beach, above average food and drinks, Star Friends/Animation team, service in bars/restaurants, kids water park Cons: poor wifi, inconsistent hot water, air conditioning varied within 3 rooms (1 cold, 2 warmer), pool could use some maintenance, ceiling fan and other swi [... read more]tches not marked in room The resort overall is nice and the beach is excellent. We walked over a mile in both directions and truly feel the Iberostar Beach is the best in that area. The resort is aged but the rooms are kept clean. I read the resort will be closed for two months in Fall 2016. The pool layout is good with some zero entry areas but could use some maintenance (missing tiles, loose ladders, etc.) The main issues were all of us losing our wifi connection 4-5x a day and inconsistent hot water daily. We were planning on using wifi on our phones/ iMessage to keep in contact with each other. It seemed like every day, the wifi would die around 2:30pm for an hour. The hot water we had maintenance come twice. I guess we were turning the faucet on the wrong way...which was not communicated the two times maintenance came (because the maintenance crew only spoke Spanish and we barely speak Spanish). On day three, we ended up having a manager come and go over the things wrong in each room. We were told for the hot water...While the faucet is off, you have to turn the dial to fully hot and then turn the water/shower on. After it runs a bit, you can adust the temperature to warmer. We were just turning it on in the middle and trying to adjust (how every other shower faucet I have used in my lifetime). It makes no sense to me but we did take warmer showers after that. Maybe it's a water pressure thing of priming the hot water. We were not the only people with this hot water problem so Iberstar should put signs up around the faucet. This is like a rating of 4.2 / 5 resort...if they sort these issues out, a bit more (4.5)

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Outstanding resort

First let me thank Debbie from Trip Central for recommending this resort! She was amazing to work with and really took the time to find a resort that fit our needs. Well, all I can say is that our first trip to Mexico was amazing. We did have a few hiccups (more so surprises do our lack our knowledge) but nothing that we couldn’t handle. It was a beautiful resort the kids activities and pool were great we were there every day and the “big pool” was large enough we didn’t really get in anyone’s way. The service in general was great (although there were a few times it was slower but service in an individualized thing). The food was delicious…a large selection. here is an excellent variety with the 4 al a carte restaurants and the buffet.......the food was delicious.. We only ate at the Japanese (which was delicious) and the Steakhouse (soooo good). We receive awesome treatment and they do try to make everything so very convenient for you. In fact we are already planning for another trip to the Iberostar Playa Mita for next year and this time we're bring our entire family to enjoy such a beautiful place. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great Resort

We had a wonderful time at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. We were on a family vacation which included our brother's wedding. The resort was very clean, staff were friendly and very attentive and there were lots of options for activities that we didn't even want to leave the resort. Hotel rooms: Very colorful 1 or 2 floors little buildings hidden between the trees and gives you a great privacy feeling. There is a hummock for each room.
