Zoetry Montego Bay: Overdue Relaxation

We found the resort to be clean and all the areas were well maintained. It was very relaxing, and the rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. The staff were friendly, accommodating and always pleasant. The selection of meals was amazing, the food was very tasty, and the drinks were well made. The recreational facilities and spa were close to each other, the masseuses were well versed in massages. The pool area was fabulous and always kept clean. It was nice to have the manager and general manag [... read more]ers mingling and interacting with the guests and always ensuring everything was up to par. Our compliments to all of the staff, especially Stacey, Avia, Sandra, Kimberly, Adrian, Terik and Davion (I am sure I missed a few others) for looking after us during our meals and stay at the resort.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Jamaica Me Happy Resort!!

Food was amazing …. People were amazing….minus the not so friendly first experience at the front desk! Where we were late getting a room due to the fact they let another group check out late. And we ended up taking a room with two hard double beds. We ended up pool side and no ocean view which was our request. Other than that everyone was just wonderful. Food and bar service was amazing.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Nice Subtle Family Vibe in Perfect Location

Its the perfect spot on the hip strip, close to craft market, free beaches, convenient stores, clubs, restaurants and less than 10 mins from airport. The hotel has lots of swimming, sunbathing areas and good food. Excellent staff!!!! Although they could use more. Spacious rooms and not an overwhelming property. Entertainment is just okay. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Great place!

The hotel was being renovated while we were there which was fine because it will make even nicer to stay at. Our room was ok. Needs a little facelift but the bed was comfy, lots of hot water and water pressure in shower and the view was spectacular. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The pool where the bar was could be cleaned better but we still used it. All in all a pretty decent resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay

Beautiful resort & rooms very clean, surrounded by beautiful pools and lots of chairs..,very big resort.Staff go out of their way to accommodate you. We had a couple of little minor issues which were looked after right away. The beach area is not very big but if you walk down behind the Grand they have a beautiful stretch of beach. Food was good but very hard to get a la Carte restaurants booked upon arrival.,Carla Love in the front lobby (customer service/butler) was so amazing.. it was like sh [... read more]e was our best friend by the time we left.,she went out of her way when off duty to purchase a luggage lock which got broken. She started her shift early just to take the time to deliver the lock right to our room, and looked for us daily just to say hi and make sure had what we needed.. nightly entertainment was a little disappointing..we only went 2x which were good entertainers. Plenty of stuff happening around the main pool all day. All in all it was an enjoyable vacation.

Riu Ocho Rios: Ocho Rios Vacation

The activities, the grounds, the rooms were all kept clean. I had an amazing experience. The food was great and the others attending the resort were so friendly. I wasn't extremely happy with the friendliness of the staff at the resort in comparison to everyone I had meet in Jamaica off the resort. I had one issue with the room were the bathroom door knob was broken and would lock you inside. Luckily my roommate was able to get me out and we proceeded to not full close the door to the bathroom.  [... read more]This should be fixed so that other travelers do not also have the same problem.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Repeat Guests

We were at the Royal Decameron Runaway Bay Ramada in January 2025 and were there to celebrate a friend's 90th birthday. We have been to this resort numerous times and seen the good and the bag. Happy to report this time that there was great improvement in the quality of the food and also improvement in the entertainment. Royalton Hideaway Negril: We did not stay at the Hideaway section

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Lots of activities, food is fantastic. The reservation aspect of this resort is where it needs the absolute most attention. I believe they need to learn how scheduling and bookings work. We went with a small group and asked to have our rooms in the same building. Our travel agent cross referenced our booking number and I personally called 2 weeks prior to our travel date to confirm this arrangement. I was assured this was no issue and they had the notes i [... read more]n our reservation. When we got there to book in, we were all assigned to very different buildings. I recommend going on the app and purchase your rooms. Stay out of building 6. The reservation desk were very annoyed when we asked to have a different room. Have your credit card handy because they want a $200.00 deposit. You will get it back on check out, but there are some people who are very uncomfortable with that. That's the negative IMO. Now the rest of the resort is AMAZING! The food is great, the beach is perfect, room service was wonderful, pool was clean, rooms are spacious and lots of activities. I definitely recommend this resort. You won't be disappointed.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Both good and bad

Some rooms were old and musty, after 2 weeks we were able to change room which was renovated but we had to accept 3rd floor luckily we are fit seniors my husband is 85 years old, a other reson for changing room was extremely loud music with the system crank up to maximum. On could not relax even during breakfast and supper, When we asked to have volume turned down we told ths was a party place basically discmatory reply indicating we were old for this place. As far as food, drinks and alcohol beverages are concerned it was excellent. We had option to eat in both facilities Decameron Montego Bay and Cornwell. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Enjoyable Stay

I have stayed in quite a few Bahia Principe Resorts and this one is just as comparable aside from the rooms in need of renovations. Many people mentioned the same thing. We had no water upon checking in, phone didn't work so we went back to the desk and maintenance did resolve the problem. We had an a la carte reservation for Knife, when we arrived it was closed. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Nice enjoyable resort

The hotel was very good. Great view from the rooms which were very nice and cleaned daily. Everything is so close including the large beach and ocean. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, something for everyone. A pizza option and more seafood would be my one suggestion. Anyone looking for a relaxing week whether by the pool or on the beach won't be disappointed. Not much in the way of night life but there is some entertainment and the bars are open.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Loved this clean, friendly resort

I heard a lot of complaints from folks, that the coffee was out (for about 3 minutes) to someone who spent 5 minutes complaining about a guest in a bikini top and skirt. So I'll start with the only negatives I saw: 1) a bit of overuse of the megaphone. Not everything needs speakers 2) curtains had some wear and tear with a few holes 3) no toilet paper dispenser 4) paint splatter from previous painting and shower doors didn't close properly. Tea and coffee were always available (there were several places to access beverages) 2) staff were friendly and helpful 3) bed was a king sized with a twin, very comfortable 4) the beach was well maintained, sand was soft, there was a bit of a step up out of the ocean but staff were often rushing to help older folks. The view of the sunsets were amazing. 5) someone was always cleaning at this resort. Everywhere and all the time. 6) entertainment- had some wonderful entertainers, singers. One night they had a non-serious casino (chips only, no money). It was lovely to see the staff enjoying themselves as well, appreciating the singing, sharing proudly their delicious traditional food. This is a place I will definitely recommend and return to. But I suppose for some who has a desperate need for fresh washcloths everyday (they always had towels, we had read we should bring our own wash clothes if we wanted them) or you just had to have a toasted sandwich (many guests complained that they had to toast their sandwiches three times) rather than eat the roast beef, jerk chicken, BBQ fish, a thousand sides, and about 5 different kinds of the most delicious fresh bread, then perhaps you deserve to be disappointed.I was not disappointed and look forward to returning.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Best trip ever !

We were there as a group of 10 people from Jan 26 - Feb 2. The Weather, beaches, food, service, staff, entertainment & rooms were all fantastic. I didn't see any bugs anywhere, including mosquitos, sand fleas etc. I would recommend anyone to go there & consider this a 5 star & was probably our best trip ever !. We were not bombarded on the beach from vendors. If anything, we had to go looking on the beach to purchase souvenirs. We would sometimes order breakfast evening before & they called 5 - 10 minutes in the morning before they brought it. We didn't have any complaints. We would go back there in a heartbeat !

Moon Palace Jamaica: Moon Palace Ocho Rios

Beautiful hotel, with nice modern rooms. Great friendly and welcoming staff. Food was very good and desserts especially were amazing. Beach is also beautiful with lots of chairs at Jerk Hut was one of my favourites in addition to the Italian restaurant. It has great ambiance.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great Resort

The restaurants offered a great variety of food choices. The grounds were clean and the staff were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the steel drum band and the Ragae music during the evening entertainment.

Coco La Palm: Coco la Palm is a nice hotel

Coco la Palm is a great hotel for so many reasons. Very welcoming staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious, nicely prepared. The beach is the best! They have plenty of chairs and shade. You can easily walk to many other hotels for food or drinks. Taxi's are readily available. There is a Hi lo grocery store just down the road. You can buy beer and liquor and many other items there. Take a collapsing cooler with you and fill it with ice for beach. The room has a mini  [... read more]fridge. They have a nice weekly managers party and entertainment. The only downside we currently see is the Canadian dollar is so low and everything pretty much must be converted to US dollar. Yes, you can use Jamaican dollars too. We found that this vacation even though very enjoyable, was very expensive for us as Canadians. We stayed for 10 days and did have 6 meals off of the resort. Some meals were very nice and some just so so. This was our 3rd stay at Coco la Palm and their slogan is We keep coming back. Guests at Coco la palm were all very nice. They actually give you a tshirt or hat for coming back with their logo on it. All in all, it is a great place to stay.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: 40th Birthday Trip

We traveled to this resort in January 2025 with 19 people including 8 Children ages 5 to 11. The resort over all is Large and Spacious. It never felt crowded and you could always find a Beach Chair. The resort has been renovated in some areas but lacking in others. The Food was excellent but the drinks need improvement. The kids Loved the Water Park and Large Pools. I would suggest this resort but this being our 2nd trip to this resort I would try some place different next time.

Riu Reggae: Amazing resort

I would recommend Riu Reggae to anyone that wants to do a vacation to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I can’t explain how pleased we were of this hotel. I definitely would give 5+ star. The grounds were extremely well kept, the food was excellent, the entertainment was fantastic and the activities during the day was great. Never a time to be bored. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there. Thank you for making this a wonderful vacation.

Riu Reggae: RIU Reggae - a great place for a vacation

This resort is spotless with cleaning staff being very attentive to both our room and outdoor amenities. Response to our request for additional pillows, blankets and towels was quick. The hotel offers an APP that you can use for just about anything you may want! You can also make your restaurant reservations and book services using this feature. There are also plentiful security, attendants and cleaning staff roaming beaches, pools and general premises to ensure safety and cleanliness thr [... read more]oughout. Staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and attentive to our needs. Buffet and restaurant food was high quality with tons of options to satisfy the most discerning of palates. Having some cash on hand also helps if you want to recognize individual efforts in providing services. The daily activities organized by the hotel are also fun and help you get the most out of your experience. Access to other nearby RIU resorts is also handy. All in all, I would highly recommend this resort and would not hesitate coming back for another vacation. Robert & Denise
