Allegro Cozumel: positive reaction to what i met there-

positive attitude to vacationers,v friendly staff, good food comparing to different resorts. Yet-too loud and that is what generally must change-NO quite place on beach,simply cannot relax due to "music" greatly disturbing . Quiet time must be provided for those who want to rest. Not enough protective sun umbrellas so in the morning vacationers "fight" for shadow ( absolutely that must correct), one pay for basic service and that must be provided.Cannot imagine to be in top hot months there and  [... read more]not have chance to comfortably seat under umbrella.Those simple improvements don`t required big investments,just proper thinking. Time is changing and more and more people are looking for places to relax and rest instead of loud party all time.Those "party" are great disturbance and many peoples i had chance to talk complain about "NOISE".Compromise must be found and that requires true rethinking about knew era witch is already here with attitude and expectations of vacationers from all resorts no matter where are they situated.. As per Occidental Allegro my complains were met with positive attitude from management and that is greatly appreciated. As cleanness ,room maintenance i can only send true positive opinion. So be more quiet, put more sun protective umbrellas and i will be there as soon as i can.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Best Holiday ever

The hotel, dining room and cottages with new mattresses was the best in the 8 years coming to this resort. The staff and especially the manager Eddwin and his people at the front desk were the best of any resort I have visited since 1994.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Incredible resort!!

This hotel is AMAZING!!! And the food OMG!! I can't wait to comeback next year!! My boyfriend didn't want to go to mexico at first, but when we got there he was like " I don't want to go back to canada!! This place is incredible!!! :)

Occidental Punta Cana: very good resort

Occsidental Grand Punta Cana Hotel. Greate location. Private Transat Beach. Lots of chairs. Nice clean resort. Very caring staff. Good food. Very safe resort Great variety of excursions Rooms were large but need some upgrading.

Allegro Cozumel: Great vacation

Had a wonderful week in Cozumel with my sister. The resort was great, clean and well maintained. Will definitely return. The beaches were lovely and we rented a car and drove around the island. You cannot come to Cozumel and not go see the wild side of the island. Breath taking views of the ocean.

Occidental Punta Cana: Great for beaches!

The beach was wonderful hard to find sitting. Restaurants are amazing!! Nightly entertainment was not great. Don't rely on it! The rooms were older but always clean. Went on a couple excursions and they were amazing! The water is just beautiful in Dominican! My husband and I love to sit on the beach, walk along the beach. It's just a whole another place.

Allegro Cozumel: Amazing resort....amazing staff!

The Allegro Resort in Cozumel is my favourite vacation destination. My husband and I stay there at least once a year. The food is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. This resort has everything I need for a great vacation in a beautiful location.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great resort

Grounds and room very nice was really disappointed no balconies. We did the up grade and really enjoyed the resturant on the 7th floor. Good selection was nice quiet dinning. Had a large group and was nice to all sit together

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Not so great

No hot water, no elevators, did was ok....people awesome and trustworthy...absolutely loved the beach, the beach bar, very clean....alcohol was always draft or Dixie cups no bottles of anything...housekeepers were sweethearts, gave us extra water and clean linen...but over all I would never go back and I would suggest anyone go it was run down and pretty shabby....midnight buffet considered of ham sandwiches only for all 7 days

Allegro Cozumel: Very nice

Very well kept excellent service very family friendly! Found the resort was more for family's and not so much for the partying type. Loved the staff they were super accommodating and made you feel like family!

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Allegro club Cojimar

This was a great spot. Great vacation . The people that worked there are very nice . Food was o.k. But didn't go there for the food, beach was amazing. Room was a1. Will go back again in September for sure . Great resort Ian

Occidental Papagayo: great place

We stayed at the occidental for one week. I need wheelchair access and the people were very helpful and went out of their way to help. The only complaint I have is that the air Canada representative was not helpful when I put in for a lost back belt that the airline had lost when I was inflight.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Great Value for your Money

I enjoyed this Hotel because it had good entertainement every night with variety and plenty of food and the drinks and cocktails were excellent plus we really liked the concept of having our own little Bungalow close to the beach. The rooms were kept clean always and the made was very friendly.

Barcelo Aruba: Honeymoon Heaven

When we first got to the hotel they had a daily paper that announced us as newlyweds and congratulated us. The staff was friendly and engaging. The food was varied and delicious. The activities were varied. The possible problem with the resort can only be considered the lack of chairs on the beach and the need to rent those extra chairs that are available.

Allegro Cozumel: Good resort

Well all, beautiful beach, normal food, friendly staff. We were in the same a resort in Playa del Carmen, which we did not like. Allegro Cozumel is much better! We'd like a variety of foods and softer mattresses.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Magnificent!

All i can say is that my husband and i take one to three trips per year and we never go back to the same resort but i can guarantee everyone that we will most definitely being going back to the Royal Hideaway Playacar. It is one the most best five star resort we've ever been to. Excellent food, drinks, rooms and beach.

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: We had wonderful time

Our room was clean and very quiet with balcon just what we liked it. Intertaitmrnt everyday very nicly done and food was also good. However we did have problem with the magnetic cads to open door to our room. Thay replaised magnetic card several times but we vere still having problems. Repairmen had to come and repairer the lock. Other then that we had a good time.

Barcelo Aruba: Comfortable Resort

My husband and I stayed at the Occidental Grand Aruba, October 2013. This was not our first trip to Aruba. Check In was good, there were no issues. We paid the extra money and upgraded to an "ocean view" room. Well there is a difference between "ocean view" and "ocean front" if I had know this I would not have paid the extra money. We were located at the side of the building. If we went onto our balcony we could see the ocean. I was disappointed in this. Our room was clean and comfortable. The o [... read more]nly issue was that the sliding patio door was foggy. The seal had broken in between the panes and it looked dirty. The buffet was good for breakfast and lunch. Nothing spectacular, but you could always find something to eat. We had three a la carte dinners and we also went out two nights, so we only at dinner at the buffet once. It was Mexican night and I was disappointed. We went to the Casino and had fun. The group of people that were there the same week we were made the nights fun. The Casino host was also a hoot. This Hotel is perfectly located and the beach is amazing. They also offered floats for the ocean. You just had to sign them out. No deposit, which was nice. This hotel is not luxury, but is comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Closest resort to the beach in Varadero

We picked this resort due to the proximity to the beach and have stayed there twice. Both times were great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food, as you have probably heard about Cuba, was acceptable. Resort was clean and rooms were fine, however little time we spent in them. The resort did a lot of things to get you involved. Great vacation for the price!

Occidental Punta Cana: Great resort

Resort grounds were great but rooms definitely need some upgrading, other than that it was great!! Food was really good, even the pickiest Eater could find something to please them. The shows were great and all the activities were fun! Always something to do! We were at the kids pool most of the week, it was perfect!! The pool bar was way on the other side which was great kept the rowdy crowds away from the kids!
