Sandals Negril: Sooo relaxing :)

I cannot say enough about this resort.We have been South 3 times and this is the only resort we have been to.My saying is...'why mess with a good thing'.The staff is beyond amazing,friendly,accommodating,happy,and hard working,even the locals that hang out on the perimeter of the beach watched my belongings for me.The beach is not huge,but the area I lay in I have more than enough space,but the other area of the beach is slowly getting smaller.We only had one issue and that was the location of o [... read more]ur room which was by the dining room,so when the staff was getting ready for the day it was very noisy at 5 am(but we did not complain,we had a nice view).

Sandals South Coast: Sandals Whitehouse awesome

Other than the long drive from Mo Bay the vacation was fantastic. Amazing grounds. Super beach. Great food. Giuseppe's pizza everyday. Martini bar and fire tables were great atmosphere. Great diving. Sandals does it again.

Sandals Grenada: the very best

we spent two glorious weeks at LaSource; the staff at all levels(from the GM down) were absolutely superb; we enjoyed two trips -one to the capital and one to Gouyave for Fish Friday-the people on the island are extremely friendly and welcoming; Sandals has done a superb job with the renovation -the food in all restaurants and cafes is the very best; will definitely return.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Entertainment at its best

Stayed Feb 11-15. Beautiful resort with plenty to do. The service and staff fantastic. The resort is huge a little to big for our 4 day escape As we felt that we missed out on a lot. I love along stretch of beach and the beach here was nowhere near what I had hoped for. During our stay there was construction all day making for a not so relaxing atmosphere. We stayed on the beach side as we prefer to be closer to the beach. Sandals Royal Bahamian: Simply amazing

The Sandals Royal Bahamian did not disappoint us. We had high expectations and they were met and even surpassed. The resort is beautiful, restaurants were excellent and we had no difficulty making reservations to the special restaurants that require them. We enjoyed the private island, snorkelling, sailing, evening entertainment or just sitting by one of the outdoor fire pits with the sound of the waves in the background. If I had to find one thing on the negative side it would be that the beach extends only in front of the resort so you cannot walk for miles along the beach; the advantage though is that the beach in front of the resort is only for resort guests so the privacy is an asset. There is lots of exploring to do on the private island if you feel you must get away. The resort is a short drive from the airport and a short bus ride to Nassau for a day of shopping if you'd like to go to town. Excellent vacation!

Sandals Caribbean Cay: Lovely resort

The hotel was lovely. The staff were great! The food and drinks were fantastic. We had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed taking the free shuttle (10 minutes) to the Montego Bay Sandals for dinner twice during our week.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Fantastic service!

We had an incredible short stay at Sandals Grande Rivieria! We had a poolside Butler room up on the hillside with butlers Richard and Jeremy. Food was excellent. Staff were all friendly, and service was excellent throughout the resort. Although the actual beach was small, the pools were great. We look forward to returning next year!

Sandals South Coast: Poor value for the price

Maintenance problems with rooms, lounge chairs hard to come by unless you are willing to get up at 5:30 am, service was slow, beautiful grounds, beach area rocky, drinks were good, food was generally good, weather was not great (windy and a couple days of rain).

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Excellent resort and staff

This resort was well groomed and maintained, there were a couple areas undergoing reconstruction at the time of our stay, any noise and inconvenience was kept to the absolute minimum and did not affect our enjoyment in any way. Every aspect of this resort was very professionally handled. The staff were amazing from housekeeping staff to the butlers, all appeared to enjoy their jobs and had a smile at anytime, they made us feel very welcome which added so much to our enjoyment, for this alone the [... read more] stay was worth it. The food was very good at any of the many restaurants and service was never an issue. If you want a vacation in a place that caters to you this one does it right.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Amazing experience in Antigua

We stayed at the Sandals Grande Antigua for a week at the end of February and had a wonderful time. From check-in to departure, the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were lovely and every detail was taken care of. There were plenty of pools and restaurants to choose from, and we never had difficulty finding chairs. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a rondoval with pool upon our arrival, which added an extra touch of amazing to our holiday. We would definitely go back!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: The Casual Tourists, Feb. 18 - 25, 2015

I would call it half a holiday. We landed on a wet runway (tense) then watched 4 days of either wind, cloud or cold eat up our vacation. But when the sun finally came out it was hot, hot, hot. I have never seen water so turquoise but the ocean was just too chilly to enter. Our swimsuits hardly got wet, except for Brian's one brave turn around the pool. So, there was no snorkeling either because that meant getting cold again when the first day of warmth arrived. We did sail, kayak and peddle trik [... read more]e (over-sized tricycle with floating tires) but stopped short of renting a jet ski for $70/half hour. Our boat to the island had 1000 HP so that was exciting enough. Food was good, especially the breakfast buffet, where the smoked salmon, boiled eggs, juicy fresh fruit, grits, cream cheese turnovers and prunes landed on my plate every day. Brian's more of a bacon guy. The only evening entertainment we liked was the piano bar where 8 couples sang their hearts out as big black Dwight hit the keys. Was he good! Boredom was starting to set in by Saturday (the weather) so I insisted we take the #10 bus into Nassau for only $1.25 each (cheapest thing we bought) to explore the straw market (special deal for you darlin'), Bay Street (everything from Gucci to a 125 year-old hat store that hadn't been dusted in 125 years), Anglican church (I wish I had tried the pipe organ) and the harbour where 5 enormous cruise ships were docked. I liked the group of two-wheeled scooters being guided across the street by a guard on a two-wheeled scooter. It looked like a comedy scene from a movie. We were booked for a guided tour the following day to see Fort Charlotte (named after King George lll's wife), the waterfront route (resorts and nice homes), government square (built in 1700's), rum cake factory (white cake soaked in alcohol), 'poor' town (tiny houses), 'rich' town (bigger houses perhaps with a palm tree), T-shirt factory (driver gets an envelope for bringing in the tourists), and back to Sandals for a well-earned marguerita. We dressed up for an evening photo session (to the tune of $57 for 4 shots) but did get one worthy of framing. Pairs of 'butlers' in black tail coats strutted around the resort serving the high-end folk. No worries man; our service was excellent too if you don't count the coffee and dessert coming 5 minutes apart. Hurray! when we found the croquet court, bocci ball, shuffleboard and tennis. Even did billiards before dinner. We tried it all except the karaoke. Brian would not go near that noise. At departure, a steady parade of Rolls Royces and Mercedes picked up folks, some just not fitting the elegant picture with their too casual attire - read 'sloppy'. The staff looked like the celebrities in their spiffy outfits and unique hairdos (wigs on the women) and big gold watches. All in all, a good time had by us both. Photos on request.

Sandals South Coast: Beyond my expectations

The accommodations are second to none, staff was always eager to help and polite. The pools and beach was never busy, never any crowds to deal with. For any couple looking for a quiet, romantic get away this is the place to go. Definitely worth the money. Planing on going back.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Nice resort

We had a nice vacation. Some things to know: but we didn't let it dampen our stay at all. Resort Grounds are under construction/renovations Noisy traffic throughout resort, construction in some areas of the resort, landscapers leaf blowers and gas whipper snipper tools going constantly. Staff golf carts running constantly. Very noisy not peaceful at all while laying at our villa pool. A lot of stairs, resort is broken up. Shuttle to & from both sides of resort across busy roadway. Call breakfast in the night before to avoid the wait. 2 hour drive from airport. Quite long. We did receive the room level that we expected. Honeymoon package was nice. Breakfast in bed or on patio, room decorated with flower petals, champagne, bubble bath with petals, fruit and chocolate. Overall, the only reason we might not return is because we would like to see other places.

Sandals Royal Plantation: Fantastic introduction to Sandals!

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel. Beautiful grounds with amazing staff! Quiet and utterly relaxing with full butler service, you can choose to be as pampered or as private as you want. This is our first hotel in the Sandals line, but it won't be our last!

Sandals Grande Antigua: Had a great time! Beautiful Resort!

A prime resort on a prime location of beach! It is just as the pictures show, beautiful turquoise sea, white sand and lush gardens all around. Can't see how anyone couldn't have a great time. Food & drink plentiful and delicious.

Sandals Grande Antigua: disappointing

Beautiful grounds, lovely restaurants except the Asian which needs an upgrade. The food quality was very inconsistent along with the non existent service in the pool area and beach took us by surprise. We stayed in the Mediterranean side for five days and found that it was just sleeping quarters. The lost opportunity of establishing a restaurant on the top floor overlooking the harbour is beyond me and the lack of a bar left that building with a lack of atmosphere. We moved to the Caribbean side [... read more] and loved the room and the fact we had room to sit on the balcony whereas we couldn't on the Mediterranean side. Overall the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Since we have returned we have been on two additional trips and every conversation we had with people who had been to a Sandals Resort said basically the same thing. Great marketing and poor food.

Sandals Emerald Bay: A good break from the snow

First of all we have to say that the staff at this resort are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, always smiling. The grounds to this resort are beautiful, and well kept. the ocean is the most wonderful deep azure blue. There are two pool areas one large one with music playing and a swim up bar, its the upbeat area, and another called the quiet pool where you can relax and reade and chill out, we enjoyed both. The food on the whole was very disappointing, we were there for seven days and we could only say we truly enjoyed two meals, (not counting breakfasts which were good especially the omlettes made to order) The menus sound tantalizing, but the food does not measure up. The tropical drinks are fun to try, and the wines were good also. We golfed twice and enjoyed the course, our first day playing there was very strong winds, and on the back nine at the ocean side it made it very difficult, but we did enjoy it. We rented our clubs. There are two main restaurants where you have to make a reservation and dress up, they are an Italian and a French Iff you are still sitting in the Italian restaurant at 9:00pm there is a piano player who does a sing along with the people in the bar, and it is through an opening, no doors,on the other side of the wall of the restaurant, they are all singing as loud as they can, and whooping after each song, and that is all you can hear while you are eating, they need to move the venue or install thick doors to muffle the sound. So if you want to hear the likes of Andrea Bocelli or Paverotti as delightful background music to your meal make sure you eat and finish before 9:00pm. which cuts short your evening some what. We had one good meal out of three at the Italian The French restaurant plays good french music while dining and has a nice ambiance, we had one good meal here out of two. The food at the seafood restaurant on the beach was ok not memorable, and if it was windy,which it was, you couldn't sit there because you were blasted with sand. You also got bitten by the sand fleas while sitting there

Sandals Inn: First time at Sandals Carlyle

Although this was our first stay at the Carlyle, we knew what to expect and are very happy with our stay. We did not spend all of our time there, taking the shuttle bus to Sandals Royal Caribbean most mornings returning in the afternoon. The shuttle kept to its schedule making it easy to go to and from the Montego Bay resorts. I gave the resorts location a 4 because it is across the road from a very small public beach. Many thanks to the Operations Manager Kwashie, Amanda from Sandals Select, Playmakers Prince, Natoya, and Richie Rich, bartenders Oreco and Floyd, Hostess Brenda, Photographer Shane, Maureen and Michelle from the Spa and an extra special thank you to Nicola from housekeeping who took such great care of us. It was nice to hear that the Carlyle will remain a Sandals and not become a Grand Pineapple. They just finished painting the outside of the resort and are doing the interior walls as well. The Bay Window restaurant was getting remodeled during our stay as well as a neon sign being installed at the end of our trip. We had very good meals and service at both the Carlyle and S.R.C..

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Wonderful resort

We have vacationed here 5 times and love it so much we will return again. The staff are so friendly and the vibe is relaxing and cool. We've come to know the beach vendors and love to talk to them as well as buying their crafts. The restaurants are some of the best we've experienced in all inclusives. St. Lucia is a magical island that everyone should experience.

Sandals Grande Antigua: The grounds were beautiful

Again, the common areas were terrific, we were disappointed in the room and some of the restaurants. The Japanese restaurant was average at best, the cook was not qualified in my opinion. He kept dropping the utensils and all the food was overlooked and very tasteless. Eleanor's breakfast service was real slow, my wife and I ordered 2 omlets and it took 1/2 hr. We didn't try the sushi restaurant because of experience we had at Kimonos. The room was clean but the furnishing were old. We spent a lot a money on this holiday and we were a little disappointed since this is considered to be a high-end resort.
