Riu Dunamar: Very clean and pretty gardens everywhere!

All the resort was kept well, cleaned through out the day! The staff was welcoming and polite! The one thing that needs to change is perhaps adding another little shop with more clothing! All the prices in the existing shop were over priced ! When I ask about any baby things, which I wanted to purchase; I was told "there's the door!" I realize that maybe the person didn't understand what I was asking!

Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Very nice ??

we travelled as a family with our kids and grandkids, and really enjoyed this resort. The food was good in most cases and very good in some cases. The pool was absolutely amazing and the golf course also was great. Round of golf is 125 US after 1 PM and included range balls and water. We also rented clubs and they had a variety on hand for us so it was no issue and they were good quality. Seating was limited unless you had preferred club which we did not, but we never missed having that. They seem to do something special every night and the entertainment was always wonderful as well. Rooms were very nice and every room had a fantastic view . If I had only one complaint it was that the kids section was between two hotels so there was almost no sun there and it was very cool and windy making it unuseable for much of the day. That was too bad, especially if you want kids to have that experience… It wasn’t too much of a bother for us because swimming in the pool and the beach worked just as well.

Temptation Resort & Spa: As Advertised

The resort came as advertised from all the things we heard and looked into. The place is a massive party and a great time basically at all points of the day. The entertainment staff we great and kept the day lively and fun. The bash parties at night with the dress up themes were just as expected. They are as fun as you make them if you decide to dress up and have fun. You can go as sexy as you choose within the rules. The bartenders were great and fast. The room we had was a little in need of some work but was still good and you aren't spending a whole lot of time in there period anyways. The food at the restaurants, breakfast and lunch buffets were pretty good. The dinner buffet left a little to be desired depending on your taste and expectations. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely be back.

I found this resort to be so fun. Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful! Pools were amazing. The family side looked fun for kids! Food is great anywhere u eat. Overall i really enjoyed my stay. This resort sure knew how to throw a party!

Riu Palace Las Americas: RPLA is memorable

Great bougie resort which I would highly recommend. The RPLA does not disappoint! They have many fun daily activities & nightly shows & themed nights at the RIU Caribe with complimentary free shuttle . Also the RIU Cancun is 3 minute walk. Everything is close by including shops, spa's & and other RIU hotels to visit etc. Cuisine was great!

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Prefect beach ,amazing staff

The beach was the highlight of the hotel , and people gravitate to the ocean . The soft white sand is prefect for walking and wading into the ocean for a float in the calm waters. The room we stayed in was a little dated but quite comfortable, the tub is very deep and caution needed to be used getting in and out ( not good for anyone with disabilities) I have heard the renovated rooms have walk in showers. The food was always plentiful and something for everyone, lots of Mexican flavour for those that like to try something new, but also lots of Americana choices . The staff were so very friendly , professional and helpful ,at every restaurant they inquire about allergies , show you to the table , place the napkin on your lap and cater to your needs…even at the buffet. ( bring lots of tips ,they deserve it. ) The concierge staff were so very helpful and during our stay we encountered a couple of medical issues and they were so very helpful arranging appointments and following up to ensure we were taken care of. We would highly recommend this hotel when you are at the beach you forget you are right on the hotel strip and steps away from shopping when you walk out the front entrance. They do have a VIP program they try and get you to buy into ( timeshare program ) however that’s the norm in Mexico and we are used to avoiding those. We are used to staying at much larger hotels but we were not disappointed with the Dreams Sands Cancun .

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Great Resort

PH is a very large resort with beautiful manicured grounds, nice spacious rooms, wonderful staff and lots of good restaurants and amenities. We found the PH app was hit and miss with trying to book restaurants and would like to see that be more user friendly as it was very frustrating. The entertainment in the evenings were OK and we were disappointed at the choices and the lack of seating for everyone wanting to see them. Having to get up early to get pool lounges was very frustrating and seeing many of them with towels on them and never seeing people using them was also very frustrating. Overall, we enjoyed our week at this resort.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Exceeded All Of Our Expectations

What a fantastic resort for families! So many activities, staff is so polite and accommodating. Food & Entertainment was on point! Highly recommend the swim-out rooms to everyone, definitely worth the upgrade.

Riu Dunamar: Beautiful Resort

Beach is amazing. Grounds are well kept and staff are always cleaning and friendly Entertainment was very good, something different every night. Food was good . No complaints ! Travelled with a 15,17,18 year old

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: It was good

Rooms were old and outdated, website said mini bar. All that was in it was 2 Bottles of water. That’s it. Was upset as we went as a group of 4 people with 2 rooms. Asked to be side by side. We weren’t even on the same floor. They would not help us out on that. The food was it and miss. Desserts We’re good. Beach was beautiful. The staff for the most part were pleasant.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Very Nice resort

We loved the lay out of the resort. We really liked the fact that one of their pools was inside under shade for those that were burnt by the sun or for those with sensitive skin in the sun. One thing we did not like was having to online reserve only, for the a la cartes restaurants on the day of and only starting at 8:00am for which everyone was trying to reserve for that day. Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Wonderful Resort!

We went back to this resort Feb 2025 after our stay there Feb 2024. We enjoyed it so much. Wonderful staff. Excellent food. Nicest room we've ever had. No bites on my ankles at the beach. Strongly recommend this resort.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Hôtel très très familial.

Un peu vieillot comme hôtel mais très propre et confortable. Très belle plage mais vraiment pas assez de chaises. Fallait se lever très tôt le matin afin d’avoir des chaises. Nourriture excellente au buffet comme aux restos à la carte.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!!

We went on a girls trip, location was great, resort was nice, staff was great, beach was stunning ? our favorite part of the whole trip. Only thing is their was a ton of kids, so for that reason I would not personally book it unless I got a way cheaper price then what I paid to go!!

Paradisus Cancun: Another wonderful Visit to the Paradisus

Stayed in the Reserve again and was treated royally. Still worth the extra expense, especially since the hotel was at 100%. The staff could not have been more helpful. There are fewer of them, and that makes their job more challenging. Special thanks to our concierge, Enrique, who worked hard to make us feel special. There was a shortage of beach chairs due to the storm in January that washed away everything on that part of the beach and so extra thanks to the beach hut employees, David and Vic [... read more]tor who did their best to find us chairs. I do hope more are on order! The hotel is closing end of May for extensive renovations, and we did notice that some minor things in our room are not maintained. I will be interested in seeing the new version. Hopefully it will not lose "the magic" that makes the hotel unique. The buffet food is only adequate, - not the same variety as we used to see and trouble keeping the food warm, Corners being cut as food costs everywhere are increasing. I'm sure that is true at all resorts, and not just in Mexico. All of our meals at the specialty restaurants were great. The chefs there are top notch. Special gratitude to our agent Karol who always takes excellent care of us when we make our reservations. He finds us the best travel available.

Occidental Tucancun: Mediocre Resort

I recently stayed at Occidental Tucancun, while it wasn't a terrible experience, there were several areas that could use improvement. The hotel feels quite outdated. The rooms, though clean, could really use a refresh. The furnishings were old, and the overall vibe felt stuck in the past. The bathroom, while functional, had some wear and tear that stood out. It would have been nice to have more convenient or diverse options within the hotel. While the location of the hotel was decent, I can't say it would be my first choice for a future stay unless some updates and improvements were made.

Riu Cancun: Disappointed

This hotel did not meet our expectations. We have been at least 10 times to various RIUs in Mexico. When we first got there the porter said that the tip was not enough when we delivered our suitcases. The entertainment was not at all up to the standard of the RIUs that we have been to. Occidental Tucancun: We had a great time!

We had a great time. Purchased an umbrella everyday for shade on the beach. We enjoyed ourselves. Our toilet did not flush , called maintenance each day.they came quickly. Food was good.we would go again.

Paradisus Cancun: Terrible experience.

I would love to provide any detail about the hotel we were supposed to visot; however, due to the weather, Sunwing kept putting off our flight one day at a time. When our 7 day vacation was finally whittled down to 5 days (including one day of flying), we cancelled the trip. It turns out the following day’s flights were also cancelled. Sunwing offered us a non-transferable one year use Sunwing travel voucher for our trouble. That’s with the Worry Free Plus ManuLife Sunwing trip insurance we paid [... read more] extra for. Trip Central was sympathetic, but admitted that they had no real control over Sunwing’s policies. I don’t think I will be booking with Sunwing again - mostly because they were happy to let my 7 day holiday drop to six and then 5 days with little regard. And what good is your travel agent if they can’t stand up for you when things go wrong?
