Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Nice Place, Beach Disappointing.

The room was fine, but seems due for an upgrade. We had a Superior Ocean View Room, and were initially given two small- very hard, almost double size beds. When we requested a change, we were moved to a room with a King sized bed. The bed was still a little hard, and the pillows were well used, but the linens were clean. The pools, restaurants, and food in general, were all great. The staff was also awesome. There was no swimming in the ocean because of the very dangerous undertow. The water  [... read more]in this area is not very warm in March, and the beach was also not that great to walk on due to the slope and deeper sand than usual. We missed snorkelling, boogie boarding and swimming. Finally, there wasn't as much to do and see in this area, as we have experienced in other parts/ resorts in Mexico.

Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful...but a little busy

Grounds were clean ,rooms were clean, restaurants offered a lot of selections ,we went during spring breaker time and we found they were a little under staffed with long line ups for drinks and busy lunch and dinners other than that beautiful resort

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Beautiful Resort!

This was a beautiful resort. The grounds were well kept with beautiful flowers. The meals tasted great although there were waits at some alocarts. The entertainment was also great, just a terrible dj at karaoke night. No one stayed. The staff were very mannerly and accomodating. The rooms were very clean. It was a very large resort and although we prefer smaller ones, this is one we would recommend for people wanting a relaxing but entertaining vacation.

Hacienda Encantada Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

We spent 2 weeks at the beautiful Hacienda Incantana The resort is amazing ,the staff are the best ,great service ,very helpful and friendly. The food was incredible. Riu Palace Baja California: Ultra Modern

First impression was it looked out of place next to its traditional style sister hotels. The welcome was warm the staff friendly and the room was excellent. We were on the 3rd floor which could be floor 4,5,6 depending which lift you used. The hotel was spotless and staff were always cleaning. The food in the buffet dining room was good and varied and fresh. The alacart restaurants were a bit hit and miss with the service, they forgot to serve our main course in one. I put this down to the st [... read more]aff being relatively new and the hotel. Was fairly full as it was reading week in US. Pools were great warm and clean. Gentle games were layed, the more boisterous stuff happened in the sister hotels. The beach was kept clean and tidy but you could not swim in the sea, this was a big disappointment for us. Evening entertainment improved over the week but a cool wind blew through the entertainment area in the evening, you needed to be seated near a patio heater. A very enjoyable stay over all and you could not fault the hotel on its cleanliness.

Tesoro Los Cabos: Great resort

We loved being in the middle of town and being able to walk to great shops, restaurants and bars. The food is very good at this resort. We chose the all inclusive package. The only annoying part is that even though you are wearing a bracelet they make you sign for every meal and drink. We even had a server knock on our door because we forgot to sign for a bottle of water.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Beautiful resort

Resort was beautiful. Staff very friendly and made a real effort to remember you. Food was one of the best I have had at an all inclusive. The view from the resort were amazing. Fantastic to be able to watch whales from resort.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Wouldn't recommend

If you're looking for a 1.. maybe 2 star resort this might peak your interest... We have been travelling to Mexico every year for the last six years now and I have never been to an all inclusive resort where they don't have resort staff walking around the pools offering drinks. There was one bartender at the Dolphin pool bar (Kids pool) who was incredible (Orlando - Personable, friendly and great drinks). Other than that the other bars weren't very good experiences and made different drinks t [... read more]hen what was asked for. The a la carte restaurant was not very good and the "Catch of the day" was quite fishy smelling and not fresh (Ourselves and a few other couples left after dinner to the buffet). Not to mention it is quite cool and windy at night and they don't have portable propane heaters on that patio, only the buffet dining area (which is quite far away from the water so already warmer...) Didn't make for a nice experience when everyone is wearing winter coats and/or blankets at dinner. The buffet is minimal and doesn't have many options especially if you have young kids who don't eat spicy foods or those with lots of sauces. You can however, request a pizza, hot dog, or fries for them (Or unless you want them to eat the fruit loops that are put out for them for dinner...). There were no fresh veggies other than lettuce. However, the morning omelette women were excellent and the omelettes and fried eggs were always great! The fish tacos, pizza, salad, and nachos available at lunch time at the restaurant by the ocean were very good! The rooms are good enough if you're just going to sleep in it as they are very outdated, our toilet leaked and the sink backed up when brushing teeth. (We did notify the front desk of the problem and the staff wasn't helpful as they either couldn't understand what we were saying or pretended not to). We did have a fridge, but they don't stock them with anything. In fact, they aren't even plugged in. We were "Upgraded" to an ocean view room on arrival because they were over capacity for the one we had booked... which is nice and all but not when there is no elevator and you have to pack your stroller up and down 3 flights of stairs with your baby to get to your room on the top floor. (Again we mentioned this to the front desk and they said they didn't have any available ground floor rooms). Is it common to not get face clothes? Again.. I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't provide those. The pools are very cool and not used as much as the pools usually are when you go to Mexico... By our 5th day they had finally increased the temperature in the activity pool but the kids pool is pretty cold. If you're one who likes entertainment this isn't a resort you would enjoy as the entertainment is very minimal. No dinner&show combos nightly like your typical all inclusive resort. No indoor to hold shows like this it seemed.. everything was outside. The thing we did enjoy was the sunshine&blue sky! If you're looking to book an all inclusive it is definitely worth spending a little more to get yourself to a different resort.

One of the nicest resorts we've been too amazing food amazing staff room were awesome great sunrise in morning beautiful weather will be going back for sure but longer next time very on expensive 🤠🤠🤠

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: As expect

The hotel is as expect ( similar to all other Riu Palace in all other place we stay), that is good. The buffet dinner is not as good as other Riu Palace ( limit supply) Staying at Riu Palace was suppose to able to use other such as Riu Santa Fe and Riu Palace Baja .It is easy to get to Santa Fe but not Baja. To get to Baja, need to walk through the beach. Also, friend of mine was staying at Baja, we invited them to join us for dinner and was turn down at the door. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Palace, Los Cabos, Mexico - AMAZING RESORT

This resort is situated on the Pacific Ocean - (actually the Sea of Cortez) where it meets the Pacific Ocean at El Arco the famous rock. The weather was amazing - we stayed for two weeks Feb 28 - March 14th. The first week there wasn't a cloud in the sky, the second week only one day where it got windy in the afternoon. We saw a baby whale come to about 10 feet of shore then finally made it to safety. From our resort we saw El Arco, lots of cruise ships came in to dock, saw sea lions every day [... read more] and whales come close. The view was amazing. As for food - buffet in am had everything you wanted, crispy bacon, eggs any way you wanted them, croissants, cereal, potatoes, meat, cheese, etc. Lunch buffet - there were two of them, one was the Mexican restaurant where you could order off the menu or use the buffet, the other restaurant was a buffet. Dinner - there were 5 al la cartes - Japanese, Italian, International, Steakhouse, Indian. We had sirloin steak with lobster, beef tenderloin which was to die for, ossabucco, lobster, shrimp, mussels, crab and many types of meats. We ate so much. Rooms were good - faced ocean and pools. Bar lounge was huge and bartenders knew our orders after the first evening. Overall - we were totally satisfied with this resort and will be going back again. We have been to several other Riu resorts (Costa Rica, Aruba, DR, Jamaica etc) but this by far has been THE BEST ONE YET. Everyone was so friendly, the staff and other people at the resort as visitors made our stay unique.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Happy With Stay

I'll preface this with saying that each person has their own set of expectations and sense of what is deemed as bad, good, and great. One person's great might be another person's 'ok'. My family (wife, and 1.5-yr old son) had a good stay at Reflect Krystal. The resort was clean, as was our room. Generally nice staff, no issues. Food was good, but I wouldn't say great. Nice little kids pool, too.  [... read more]A note about the Residence building - when we researched it prior to going, people were saying it was across a street from the resort. I had this image of it literally being across a street...it wasn't. It's more like a little road that winds through between some of the resorts around there. There is by no means regular traffic on it, and it wasn't a big deal to walk across it. The rooms in that building are nice, and they have little balconies. There were some nice extras that you would normally pay more for at an average hotel - grab as many towels as you want, poolside, without having to give your room number, free drinks in bar fridge in room, and some other little things. Not a bad place. Enjoy!

Riu Palace Baja California: Still some growing pains to work out. Overall nice hotel, excellent rooms.

Beautiful pools, excellent food and service personnel, 5 specialty restaurants. (no reservations required) well maintained grounds, expensive taxis for short trip downtown Los Cabos. Problem with cigarettes and cigars near the pool and bar areas. (No designated smoking areas) Entertainment needs to be lengthened and worked on for professionalism. (For two week stays repeat of first week.) All excursions in US dollars and very expensive. No need for Canadian funds. Bring Mexican pesos or US doll [... read more]ar.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Great Resort

Hyatt Ziva is what you would expect from the Hyatt brand. Rooms where large, clean and lavish. Pools of all types where clean, warm and had space to lounge and swim in. Food excellent selection and taste. Overall a great place and great resort. Staff was also excellent and accommodated all needs. A few things to be aware of. The beach water sadly is un-swimable due to the current. Often a black flag is placed to denote fatal if you get in... yikes. This isn’t a fault of Hyatt, all resorts on t [... read more]hat strip of beach are under the same restriction. Being a 5-star resort sadly didn’t offer any shuttles to the nearby towns. Taxi’s will do the trick but would expect some sort of bus service from Hyatt. Besides that would recommend to anyone looking for a easy place to relax and unwind.

Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Small but nice

This resort was very nice but different from a lot of all inclusive we have traveled two. Instead of having a large buffet style dining hall there was one restaurant inside the resort where breakfast was the only buffet and it was small. So ordering off a menu was your only option. There is other restaurants you can go to as well that where included which where pretty good. You had to watch to make sure you where not ordering things that where not included as they make u sign bills for everythin [... read more]g and would charge your room if you got the wrong thing. All items in fridge would be charged even though website says there included. Over all this resort is small but nice, it is very well located right on the marina which is nice for shopping and an amazing view of all the huge boats. The time share people in the resort are pretty pushy to try and get you to go to there meeting as well. But that’s Mexico lol

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful Resort

Excellent, friendly and attentive staff. Great pool areas with a wide range of activities. Large rooms that are well maintained and clean. Variety of dining areas with a wide choice of foods to suit any tastes.

Royal Solaris: Fantastic Resort!!

Our rooms were very clean and the pillows and beds were comfortable. The food was great and we really enjoyed the pizza, civiche bar and fresh food pool side. Our waiter around the pool, Ventura, was so awesome!! He was friendly and came by regularly so we were never left thirsty. Thanks Royal Solaris team fir a great vacation. This was my second time there and I can’t wait to go again!!

Riu Santa Fe: Lovely resort

The resort is quite large, so there is lots of walking to the pools and restaurants. The food was only fair, serving the same buffet each day, and there were no true a la carte restaurants. Even the a la cartes were served buffet style and served most of the same items that were at the buffet. We were also there during the US March break, which made for a lot of noise at night, lots of drunk teenagers who crowded the pools and bars. The staff were nice and tried to accommodate as best as p [... read more]ossible. I would probably not fly with Sunwing again. Planes are too small and crowded, always late, ran out of food on the flight to Mexico, and poor service on board.

Riu Santa Fe: Great Stay!!

We were suppose to stay at the Riu Santa Fe for 11 days but upon arrival they told us that we had been upgraded to the new Riu Palace Baja California that is directly next door. This gave us access to all 3 Riu resorts here. We did spend a fair amount of time at the Santa Fe. Its is an all ages resort so it will appeal to more people in the younger age groups. The grounds are very well kept and the food at both buffet and a la cartes is very good. The first week were were there it was quiet for the most part. But the second week became spring break. That is when things started to get get loud and out of control. Made us happy that we had gotten the upgrade. Aside from the second week that we were there the Santa Fe was an enjoyable resort to be at.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Small resort packs a punch !

Royal Decameron has a unique vide ! Very friendly , something always happening , the social directors Mayo & Rudolph work endlessly to keep you busy & entertained. If you so choose. The front desk staff Serafin & Bruno kept me informed with all their local knowledge. José in the pool side restaurant is a consummate profession server , and Erik at the buffet was on top of every whim. Joselin the lifeguard kept us safe 🤪 Omar kept us hydrated. 🍹& happy !
