Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Best resort experience. We have had ever

The resort was quite beautiful & breath taking, staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpful, especially lobby bar Jorge Luis, Francisco & bellboy Ulises. The buffet and restaurant were able to accommodate all allergies.the managers at the buffet and restaurant went above and beyond for my allergies. The spa treatments and facilities/pools were amazing. Drinks were always cold. Highly recommend the Mango Margarita. The beach and ocean was clean. Had wonderful pools and bars at each pool. The [... read more] taxi carts are quite helpful for getting around the resort and came by frequently. The village had a 24hr sports bar, they had games, pool and foosball tables, xbox, and more. Nice gift shops. Had free different entertainment shows main stage in the village at the resort every night. The only two things that could need to be improved was the rooms had too much moisture it affected our cell phones and everything was damp and have coca-cola products as well

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Beautiful place

It’s not very luxurious but very beautiful surrounding. Food is not bad. Has so many choices. Staffs are friendly except the ones at the guess service desk. Rooms service is terrible. I asked for sugar, coffee and cream one time they brought only coffee after 4 hours. Then ordered again and never got them. Happened twice.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Perfect Dream Getaway!!

The hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and quite large. The bathroom is quite big and the soaker tub was so relaxing. Clara kept our rooms clean. The Italian restaurant was our number one choice for a la carte and the steakhouse was our second choice. We did not enjoy the Mexican restaurant. The kids club came in so handy for us as we have a 6yr old daughter and 21mth old son. It was the first time I left my son with a sitter and Gloria was very patient with my lil guy as he is a han [... read more]dful. Our 6 year old loved the activities and enjoyed going for lunch with the other kids. She especially loved the huge pool and both kids enjoyed the kids pool with the slides. Ulises our bell man is amazing he took very good care of us and made sure we got to our room safely and picked us up on time to take the taxi back to the airport. The Poseidon buffet is across from the beach and the seafood was really good but I especially enjoyed the fresh stir fry made for you. There was plenty entertainment for the kids and adults and the stores are quite nice. The staff at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres resort is who made our vacation so amazing. They are all so polite and don’t ever pass you straight. They ensure to say Hola or Beunos Dias no matter who they are. We will definitely go back as we missed it the second we left!!! Can’t wait for our next vacation!

TRS Coral: AMAZING RESORT

AS WE FIRST DROVE UP MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS WOW IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL WE HAD A SWIM UP ROOM AND I CAN NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN THE ROOM ALL THE LIGHTING IS SENSORED THAT WAY YOU USE ONLY THE LIGHTS YOU NEED. THE DECOR WAS AGAIN WOW THEY PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO THE DESIGN. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Good Hotel, Nice Resort- Watch for Upgrades

This was our 4th time at this resort. We like it a lot and haven't had many problems.....until this time. We booked over 3 months ago, upon arrival, they indicated that they did not have any rooms with twin beds and that was "at the resorts discretion" and they were at 94% capacity. If we wanted twin beds we would have to pay the $210 USD upgrade. Well they were at 94% capacity because they had closed one of the three buildings and I'm pretty sure they could have converted a queen bed room t [... read more]o two twins since we had booked 3 months in advance. So I looked at this as a blatant way of making you pay for a room upgrade. I indicated great displeasure and indicated I would complain on social media and cost them a lot more than the $210. They said "go for it".

Amazing deal in new and amazing resort , great food and service.rooms were excellent and almost everything was included, good drinks and variety you cannot ran out of options.the resort is definitely one of the most luxurious one in Cancún. Learning some Spanish will be helpful

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Quiet

This hotel is new and absolutely stunning. However, it was not designed for the average person to safely get around. Lights on the walkway at night reflected right into your eyes. Steps were not clearly marked and were the same material and colour making it easy to miss your footing. There was no shade. You need to walk through buildings just to get relief from the sun. Very quiet hotel and felt much like a ghost town.

It was ok, the people on the beach were very rude. We had a baby and would ask for an umbrella, and they would say they have no more. I think you kept ur hand in ur pocket, they might help you out. I wasn't impressed..

TRS Coral: Very nice resort

The trs coral hotel is a very beautiful and modern resort, it’s grounds are very clean and well kept. The rooms are amazing and the swim out suite is a must. The beach is long and clean and very beautiful. The staff and service is phenomenal and so their best to keep you happy and entertained through our your whole trip. The food is also exceptional, everything I ate I enjoyed! I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: HUGE RESORT

This resort was HUGE with 4 other hotels on it. The best part! You have acess to 3 out of 4 of them. All of their ammentities,dining,entertainment,bars you name it. People we're working very hard around the clock to keep everything up. Beaches were spotless. People were coming around asking if anyone wanted drinks or collecting cups and dishes. Didnt speak any Spanish. Thank goodness everyone who worked here spoke English well! Amazing service, good advice. All inclusive.GREAT food! We had such a wonderful time! Very highly reccommended so much to do here. We stayed for 6 days and still felt like we didnt see everything 10 out of 10!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing resort

Grand palladium is amazing. It’s structure and design is so incredible, huge, like you are at a palace. Plenty of dining options. Over 10 restaurants to Choose from we didn’t get to eat at every one, but the Food was just mediocre but staff are very nice. More detail could be put on the seasonings for food. We food a lot of options bland. Will stay again for the great design clean atmosphere and staff!

TRS Turquesa: Great resort

Grounds were fantastic, beaches are clean and we spent most days at a cabana. Luckily the last day we were there a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach. Once the seaweed washed up on the beach it takes at least a day for the front-end loader to clear it away. Resort Pools are very clean and there are a lot of pools around the buildings. Great selection of restaurants on the resort. I found the food to be ok. Transportation around the large resort is convenient and fast.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Fantastic Holiday

We loved everything about the Grand Palladiim. The accommodations, staff and food were amazing. The entertainment team were fantastic, always getting everyone involved. We will definetly be going back 😊

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: It is a nice resort

The resort grounds are very clean and well kept. The employee of the resort are very nice and helpful, specially Bianca in Customer Service. The food and choice of Veg/Meat was good in the buffets, and most of the restaurants. The Indian, the Japanese, the Argentinian, and Italian restaurants were good.The Chines Restaurant was ok. I would avoid the Mexican Restaurant- The food tasted old , the flank steak tasted and felt like boiled old beef jerky. The mole chicken was the worst I have [... read more] ever had - It was dried up chicken legs, hard to cut or chew, with a bit of chocolate brushed on top, instead of cooked & simmered in the mole sauce - Absolutely tasteless - There was nine of us, with different food orders, and we all wanted to leave after the first bite . The beach is constantly being cleaned for agile, and is not a clear water beach (like Cuba ) - Lots of waves, not good for snorkeling, not too many people in the water, but always can find shade and seats to relax .Good drinks served as well. Good choice of swimming pools and entertainment at the pool available. PS . Our Air Transat Rep never showed up for the pre arranged meeting (we waited one extra hour and still no show ) ,or the next few days per Transat book next day meeting times, to sell us excursions or tell us about our trip back pick up time . Had to call local Transat office few times, and finally got hold of Anne which was helpful.

TRS Turquesa: Mostly good, but...

The resort is beautiful and part of a larger connected of series of properties within the Grand Palladium area. TRS is the nicest part and is adults only. It is nice. The staff were very enthusiastic in pouring drinks. There are some things which are difficult to forgive. The men's restrooms often had empty or broken soap dispensers. I had a stomach bug, hard to know if that was related but gross regardless. Some of our meals at restaurants were unreasonably slow. One took the better part of  [... read more]three hours.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful beaches

We had a great time at this resort. It was beautiful, well kept and very large. The beaches are private, so no one bothers you to buy something. There are two jerk chicken huts, we ate at them pretty much everyday we were there for lunch, delicious! Quieter hut is at the sunset beach further from the noise of the activities at the main beach/pool. The pool is enormous, so if you're a pool dweller, lots of space to swim freely. TRS Coral: Do not book with Sunwing - Hotel is still having growing pains

When you arrive the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. They are so well maintained, spotless, and modern. I would give the aesthetic of this hotel a 11/10 if I could. There is plenty of restaurants to choose from, some better than others, but we discovered Caprecio is best for breakfast, Helios by the pool and beach is your best bet for lunch, and the Mexican, Japanese, and Steakhouse are the best for dinner. Unfortunately due to what we believe a new resort, their are some key operational aspects that need to be worked on significantly. We were told by our EButler that she had noted that we wanted an ocean view room and worded it as though we would get it when we arrived - we did not to our disappointment. we were also told something special would be done for us for our romantic trip - nothing. The two bottles of alcohol were no existent the whole trip. After a very rude front desk experience, we finally got from absolutely no oceanview rooms being available to one being available the next day. We had already lost a whole day due to Sunwing delays (AVOID SUNWING LIKE THE PLAGUE RIGHT NOW.. the are using Eastern planes which are death traps. Before becoming the charter service they are now, they received one of the largest safety fines in aviation history), so another day moving rooms, unpacking etc. was upsetting. We arrived to broken air con, damp sheets, mouldy smelling pillows, no water in the fridge, and moisture dripping from the bathroom ceiling in which I slipped on. A cockroach ran out from under the bathtub over my foot. Stunning room, but unacceptable for the amount people pay for the Loft Suite. If it weren't for our Butlers (Alicia and Andres), our trip would be ruined. Our trip only turned around after the 4th day because we were finally able to get our pillows replaces (not just the sheets changed), our air conditioning fixed after three nights of calling, and 24 hours to just get water in the room. We already dealt with the Hotel about this, but beware that they will want you to sign an agreement upon checkout if they offered you something to rectify the situation, so that you cannot seek any compensation elsewhere (luckily I read the fine print because I work in the industry). This really put a sour ending on our Trip. As I said before, Sunwing is terrible. Their customer service rep was not around for 5 days when they said they would be in the office. I called and called, no answer. I had to email sunwing cares to get a someone to finally call me early enough to wake us up on our last day and they said that we should deal with out situation when we get back to Canada. We were so put off by our experience with the safety issues of the aircrafts the were using, the lack of customer service, and the major delay, that we actually spent $1000 dollars (not including the $400 we lost for buying the earlier flights on the first day) to fly back with WestJet who are on time, safe, offer great customer service and very reputable. When we were pulling into the gate on our WJ flight, we saw an Eastern plane being pulled out of the gate we were going to with a mechanic truck behind it - the irony! I think the hotel is stunning, the line staff are so kind and hard-working, but the management needs a serious crash course in customer service and operations. I would probably recommend this resort in a year or so when it has time to work out these kinks, but I will never recommend Sunwing ever again. Pay that little bit extra and go with Westjet or Air Canada. It will save you down the line.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Another Great Vacation

April 2019 We just returned from the Grand Palladium Punta Cana and had a great vacation. We have been to this resort several times and each time we return it is amazing the changes and most for the better. They are constantly updating this resort. The lobby of the Punta Cana was totally redone with new furniture, the room was renovated, new restaurants, wifi on the beach and many new cabanas on the beach. This is the first time that we didn't have any trouble finding a cabana and chairs on the  [... read more]beach or at the pool. If there was one thing that I would say was negative was the reservation system for the Japanese restaurant, they only took reservations a day in advance and they started at 7:00am you could go there at 7:10am and it would be full, they give the reservations to the Travel Club. All of the other restaurants no problem getting in. On the topic of the Travel Club, I observed these representatives in the lobby several times and they hit upon the guests as soon as they get off the bus to check in. Most of these people have no idea what they are talking about they are all excited about starting their vacation and these people hit them up and hit them up hard and don't want to take no for an answer. The staff at this resort are very friendly and work hard. The food is very good, alot of selection and variety, something for everyone.

TRS Coral: Relaxing Adult Resort

The TRS is a beautiful, well manicured resort. The grounds are very beautiful, always maintained and very clean. We found the service to be hit and miss, seemed most venues were very short staffed in comparison to other resorts we have been at. The staff themselves were really great and tried very hard to service everyone. We only had one negative experience with our server at the Chic Cabaret - he was rude, not personable and did not make our experience that night very good. Luckily this w [... read more]as our second time seeing the show and our first night's server was amazing. The adult pool was heated?? It was way too hot to cool off in after sitting poolside in +35 degree temperatures. The adult pool also had no fun daily activities happening at it. If you want a place to read a book and listen to elevator music...this is the place to go. Not a bad thing but just not what we had expected nor wanted. We ended up going over to the main pool at the Grand Palladium as it had some DJ music and activities each day, we opted to put up with kids to get away from the adult pool for a few days. Dolce our pool server was outstanding! Daily room servicing was very inconsistent. Some days we would get full restocking and others nothing. Some simple misses - housekeeping not giving towels or replenishing amenities. Air conditioner in room - issues in our room and my brothers room as well. Butler's in our building were always attentive to our needs and tried their best to meet our requests. Angel was awesome! Limited choices on the adult side for breakfast and lunch - only al a carte options available. One buffet choice which was at the Grand Palladium side (with a million kids). The grill at lunch at the adult pool was just mediocre - one can not eat burgers and nachos everyday. There needs to be something poolside other than the grill, which by the way stunk up the entire pool area starting around 10am each day. Most al a carts are located on the Palladium side (with kids). Night life on the TRS side - only 1 bar (gravity bar) which was on the top floor outside - super windy every night, it was hard to enjoy anything up there. Lobby bar is set back in a corner, I don't think many guests even knew it had anything going on at it. Which is a shame as it is a beautiful spot and could be a great nighttime area - if something fun and upbeat was happening. Yuri at the lobby bar was great! The beach area is beautiful! Not manicured great everyday but the water and sand were amazing. Service at the beach was very good. Paty and Isreal were amazing! The food was just ok overall at TRS and connecting Grand Palladium. A few al a carts were very good - Chang Thai (went to twice), El Gaucho steakhouse and Helios (on TRS side). Buffet was not great at the Palladium, our bfast experience there was less than stellar. We had 1 dinner there and it also was nothing I would want again. Room service ordering is through the app on the tv which was pretty cool. The food for room service was also inconsistent in the quality we received. It's not bad but we ordered the same thing a couple times and each time it was different? The spa was absolutely amazing - having access to the pools/salt room/ice room and infinity pool on the top floor was great! Best part of booking at TRS is the ability to use this facility for free - just wish it was on the TRS side and not the Palladium side. Honestly, I would give this a 7/10. If you are looking for a place to just simply relax by a very hot pool, listen to soft elevator music and not participate in a lot of daytime or nighttime activities then this resort is for you. Its a beautiful new resort but for us we wanted more activity than this had to offer. I would recommend this resort only to those that want a few days of relaxing - 2 weeks was way too long here.
