Selection Riviera Cancun: Excellent vacation

We've been to the Azul Sensatori resort 4 times, and each time it was a very satisfying experience. The service is impeccable. Waiters, grounds-keepers, chambermaids, support staff, managers, luggage handlers, lobby staff, etc, were extremely professional, courteous, always smiling, always cheerful, always willing to help.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great vacation

Sensatori Azul is a beautiful 5* resort. Friendly staff, great Bali beds at the beach and at the pools, well maintained grounds, amazing public washrooms and superbe dining. Our room was very clean and lacked nothing , amazing amnesties. Else, our concierge was always there to answer our questions. Great service from the bartenders and waitresses. Excellent Spa service. Entertainment staff kept everyone busy. We appreciated the gorgeous Christmas decorations.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Sensatori Azual is a wonderful small resort with less than 500 rooms. Hotel was more than expected. Apart from the cleaniest of rooms and all facilities (ie washrooms around pool and restaurants this resort is fantastic. All restaurants except Mexican were gourmet inspired. The Azual group need to improve on the menu and facility at the Mexican restaurant. Selection Riviera Cancun: Great Resort but beware of all the up selling

Loved the following - the staff and the service they provided - the resort is awesome, very well maintained, very clean, they do put a huge effort in making sure everything is perfect - the food is awesome everywhere. My favorite restaurant was Tapas - great beach Very disappointed with - the fact that a lot of activities are not included that I would expect for the price we paid. If we had paid $1000 ok then yes, maybe charge me for certain events but since this is not a cheap I expect [... read more]ed everything to be included. They had suppers on the beach (not the candlelight one, a group one were it was $150 american. Had a coffee shop where you had to pay for coffee and food on the resort. The house wine was very cheap and they kept giving us wine list to pay for a decent wine. Unfortunately even though it was a great resort because of all the nickle and diming I would not recommend it.

El Dorado Royale: Five Star all the way

I was blown away at the quality of the made to order gourmet food. The Canadian Beef Culinary food was bare none the best we have ever experienced at a resort. The staff were friendly and attentive. Loved that the resort has their own greenhouses. Rooms were lovely and we were surprised for our 30th Anniversary with Champagne, a sign on our door and roses petals on our bed. Selection Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort

Super layout - you never got lost. Our room was great with very good service and a beautiful view from our balcony. The resort itself was very well design and very clean. There was always chairs available around the swimming pools. Lots of activities around the pools. The restaurants and the food was fabulous - no reservation made it nice.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Sensatori Resort in Punta Cana. The room, food and service were exceptional. I traveled as a family with 2 young kids and the hotel catered to every need I had. They were able to provide all the services we requested for our room (changing table, bottle warmers). My only advice is that this resort is specifically geared towards families with children. I would not want to stay at this resort if I was looking for a couples retreat. The resort is connected to Nickolod [... read more]ean resort and share all of the restaurants and such. As expected the buffet restaurant can be very loud as it is packed with kids. The nightly entertainment is a bit lacking as well. The resort is very quiet afterhours. It was great for us with the kids......We truly enjoyed our stay and would return for a family vacation. The next time I will be sure to get a swim up room.....they are truly amazing.

El Dorado Royale: Good resort

This resort was kept very clean and the grounds were lovely. There were many different activities happening daily. Our room was nice but very dark. The food was generally very good with lots of choice however the service was inconsistent at times but we did have some lovely waiters who couldn't do enough for you.

El Dorado Royale: Royal Treatment at "El Dorado Royale"

We have traveled to many resorts always 4 or 5 *. El Dorado Royale was simply wonderful, the food was truly gourmet quality. The flavours,variety and presentation all top notch in every location. Our room was great with good access to many areas (building 15). Great tram system when going further distances within this large resort. This staff excel at customer service in all areas and their enthusiasm was evident. Nice that there was no restriction on beach towels. All public areas very clean. T [... read more]he beach is extensive and while quite rocky there are a few areas where you can enter to cool off without needing water shoes. Lots of palapas. Beach Loungers would benefit from cushions. We enjoyed a EXCELLENTE,FANTASTICO week and plan to return.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Not our idea of Romance! - Never Again!

Where do I start? First morning there I tripped on an unmarked step (which I've heard of several others doing as well). I went down hard. Both shins were bruised, I hurt my right ankle, and landed on the top of my left foot causing bruises on my big toe and second toe from the left and massive stiffness. To their credit, they did offer me medical services, and the lifeguard attended in my room to wrap my ankle. I didn't realize how bad my left foot was until the next morning. Immediately afte [... read more]r the incident, instead of offering to let me rest, the concierge tried to shove their rewards program at me, saying it wasn't a timeshare when I flat out asked her if it was. We were stuck mostly to our room as there only 1 restaurant in the main building that was only open for breakfast/lunch and there was no elevator that went all of the way down to that level. A staff member at one point took pity on me and allowed me to use the staff elevator that went all the way down. Room service was underwhelming at the least. I could often hear the neighbour's tv over my own. It was like he was in my room. Most food options were a jaunt away at the Sensimar side or the main building, which was in the middle of nowhere. They do offer golf cart service, but it was hard for me to get around that much. At least the room was nice. I tried to call for the lifeguard in the afternoon after I had hurt my foot as he said he would come back and re-wrap it. My call to the concierge went to an answering service that hung up on me. I called the main desk, and they said they would send him, but he never arrived. I called back the next morning and he came to wrap my left foot. Our balcony pool had garbage floating in it that didn't get cleaned up such as a plastic bag and an umbrella until I complained over two days later. . After two days in the room, I needed to go out, so we stopped by the concierge to make reservations for a restaurant we wanted to go to. He asked how things were going, and I mentioned some of my concerns. He replied with "what can we do to get you to the presentation". His partner was on the phone with the concierge who was assigned to us, and she was worked up because we didn't show up for the presentation, which we cancelled immediately after I found out it was a timeshare (and I injured myself). I had enough at this point and spoke to the front desk, who wanted us to try and give the resort another try. She immediately sent someone to clean the pool, but the umbrella just wound up on the grass below, and the plastic bag remained on our balcony until check out. We checked out the beach but it was too rocky and smelled like rotten eggs. The main pool was lively, but there were some drunk idiots whipping their shorts down on the ledge above the pool in front of the crowd. The grounds of the hotel are filled with huge advertisements for their other resorts. Very tacky and they take away from any sense of romance. We had our Anniversary dinner on the beach and paid for the upgraded package with Champagne. Between soup and the main course a torrential downpour came and we were soaked. All we could do was just laugh at that point. The special morning after breakfast showed up and it wasn't what we ordered at all. The hotel decided to move us as I didn't think I could stay there any longer. 4 nights was enough for us. Luckily the hotel they moved us to was a smaller and quieter, and we were able to salvage the 6 nights we had remaining. This hotel may be adults only, but it does not seem to be geared towards couples. It's not romantic and seems very cold. The crowd seems to be more of a party crowd. Not what we were looking for at all. Karisma really needs to re-think their hard sell on their timeshares. It should not be the concierge pushing you into the timeshare. It's not fair that you have to go see the concierge for so many things, and each time you get pressured. I didn't pay good money for this vacation to be subjected to that. I would never return to this resort or another Karisma resort because of this experience. We did have a better time at the resort we were transferred to - El Dorado Maroma, but it did not make up for this, and the fact that we were hounded about the timeshare there again, when I made it clear what happened at the other resort made things worse. Was not offered the check out survey, and the one sent by email to me was deactivated - not surprised. This will definitely be an Anniversary we don't forget, and not in a good way.

El Dorado Royale: Very nice resort

The grounds of this resort are beautiful. The people are friendly. There is some inconsistency in the service overall. For example, some days you get turn down service and some days you don’t. The food was wonderful but the service sometimes was lacking. Not always getting your order correct.

El Dorado Royale: Nice, fun and relaxing week!

Overall this hotel was lovely. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the choices of restaurants and areas to go and things to do was good! I thoroughly enjoyed my week there. There were only a few things to comment on in regards to service. I found service was inconsistent and when it was good it was fantastic and there was the occasional times where it was not so good. El Dorado Royale: The resort was amazing

The hotel was very well kept and a pleasure to walk around. I absolutely loved the the grounds. The service at our favourite restaurant was a pleasure. Hats off to Anastcio of Laila’s restaurant. He was awesome.

El Dorado Royale: Absolutely amazing resort!!!!

This is the absolute best resort I have been to. The food is out of this world including room service to the breakfast buffet, JoJo' s beach restaurant to Fuentes the elegant culinary cooking demonstration restaurant. The pools, the beach, the grounds, the greenhouse all so beautiful.

El Dorado Royale: An Incomparable Resort!

I have been to a few all inclusive resorts, including my first experience in the Mayan Riviera, but the El Dorado Royale far exceeded my expectations. The food was extraordinary and beautifully presented at all times, & the staff always helpful & cheerful. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Thanks to Trip Central for looking after us as well. Everything went smoothly even when corrections were needed.

9/10 Beautiful grounds, exceptionally friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful rooms Only thing I would say could be improved is if there was an entertainment theatre, I missed having that. Also beach was ok but water had very rocky and sea weed bottom which was a disappointment. Other than that, EXCEPTIONAL

Azul Beach Resort Negril: The best Caribbean Inclusive I have ever gone to!!!

Everything about this resort was 10+++ Upon arriving, instead of lining up to front desk we were ushered to a comfortable sofa, handed a moist towel to freshen up and a glass of sparkling wine, (no tacky bracelets) from there we were registered and taken to our very spacious, spotless, fresh room with a huge balcony overlooking pools, palm trees, ocean and spectacular sunsets, (this was a standard room). The staff was very attentive and friendly. The beach and amenities were always clean and in [... read more]viting. And even though the beaches in Jamaica are not private we always felt safe with the security always watching over the guests. THE BEACH WAS SPACIOUS, ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING AND YOU COULD WALK FOR MILES!!! SWIMMING WAS THE BEST, SHALLOW ENTRY, HARD SAND TO WALK ON NOT WEEDY OR ROCKY. All 6 restaurants were simply a gourmet feast,every single meal out did the last one. The house wines and beverages were A1, along with a beautiful selection of wines to order at cost. The entertainment was not as grand as some of the other resorts I have gone to in the past, but they were very entertaining and very enjoyable, I wouldn't change a thing there. The spas looked amazing, however I did not venture too far from the beach, next time for sure. Tons of wonderful programs running all day that were available. Though I no longer have little children, I would definitely go back with my grandchildren, the kids area looked amazing. One area I particularly enjoyed was the coffee & ice cream bar, they served up amazing healthy smoothies of all kinds, and of course we would have to have a cookie each day, only because they were so good!!! The only negative was you would have to get out early to make sure you had a lounger & umbrella for the beach pretty early (7 am), but I'm sure that the case at most resorts. Conclusion, WE LOVE AZUL BEACH RESORT, SENSATORI JAMAICA!!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Can’t take food from restaurants / construction

We travelled with a 10 month old and a 2.5 year old. Resort was fine but we found it challenging to find food while our children were napping or to have food in the room for when my toddler wanted something. You cannot take food out of any of the restaurants - not even the buffet (without hiding it). One night my husband tried to take some desserts to the room from the buffet as the kids were sleeping and he was stopped at the door and told no. Yes - you can order room service but it is the  [... read more]same/limited menu all week. There is also extensive construction going on down by the beach. Not only is the beach small but they are building new buildings and a new pool bar so if you are beach people, maybe wait a year until this is complete. Room size was generous.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Very nice resort

The Azul Five Resort in Riviera Maya was very clean and very nice. The food was great and the staff were very friendly but yet professional. Had a great time. We went to Coba for a day excursion and had a great time. The girl that helped us book our trip was very knowledgeable and sincere.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: Absolutely perfect

A wonderful resort, excellent staff. Beautifully kept and maintained, the food and service excellent. .Catered our nephews allergy issues, our grandchildren had fun. We will definitely be back Restaurants were amazing, shows worth seeing
