Brisas Guardalavaca: Awsome Staff

We were here 14 years ago, could not believe the staff members that still remembered us, well they said they did... Great bunch of staff members friendly, and most helpful and proud to serve!!! Would return again no problem.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Average resort

The resort was very clean and the grounds and gardens were meticulously cared for. The rooms are dated but clean. The staff were pleasant and accomodating. The beach and pools were good. Overall this was a average resort but the price reflected the property. If you are looking for an inexpensive vacation this property will give you a comfortable vacation but it is by no means luxury.

Playa Pesquero: great people & nice beach!!

Hotel was clean spacious beach was very nice sand / water no fleas food was disappointing but no surprise pizza at beach was fantastic allot of families and seniors beverages were tasty great beer + excellent mojitos

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Quite, peacefull and great snorkling!

Lovely time! The staff was amazing, room was bright, airy and clean. The food was ok for cuba. The hotel was beautiful. The staff gets you involved in activities. All in all a great vacation. I would go back again! We meet an older couple who had been to Cuba 85 times. This was one of their favorite resorts.

Playa Pesquero: Not bad

Food was OK. Staff were friendly. The beach was wonderful, but there is no shower at the beach. The entertainment really sucks and wasting time. They use just gusts to entertain people other than spend money to hire professional.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: not a 3 star anymore

This resort is not as good as it has been,if there is less people the food is not good but when more people come to the resort the food gets better.I like this resort because I have made many friends here some are like family.I have been coming here for five years.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Average good. I had enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful beach; long about 1km, with nice foft sand. Plenty of chairs and shades. Food is average; chicken should be prepared in some varaiety ways. Speciality restavrants don't serve any specials. For steak was served some slices of very tough. The lobster was without any spices at all; the butter without any garlic. The servicce was outstanding; my chamber made was one of the best I ever met. Playa Costa Verde: Great vacation

I was in Playa Costa Verde for two weeks Oct 25 -Nov 8. I would go back if I could right away. The rooms were renovated and clean, everything functioning. Washroom would meet Canadian hotel standards. My room service lady Aymei was very nice and professional. Food was good. There were line ups because of the construction at the buffet but it was actually very nice to eat outside in the bar by the pool. It was probably much harder on the staff. The beach was fine and the entertainment was very good and professional. There is lots of coral but the next hotel Playa Pesquero has a sandy entrance to the water. You can walk there. We are lucky to enjoy the best artists on the resorts in Cuba. I wished that there had been more Cuban themes as opposed to American music and shows. Cuba has beautiful art, music and visual . Maybe they wanted to please tourists. I loved my vacation and I am so grateful that I could enjoy this little Paradise for a very affordable price. No need to pay for Sandals in my opinion. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: A Great Resort

Visited Blau for the 17th time on November 10th. Always feels like home and great to see returning guests, friends and staff. This resort has great staff and some of the best food I have had in Cuba. I would rate Blau as a 3 Star in the older section because it has some serious maintenance issues. My major complaint was availability of food and very poor air conditioning. The Blau Plus is a 4 Star. They also moved the 24 hr snack bar to the beach during the day. This will pose a major problem when they have a full house in the high season. It is not on my travel list for 2015. May return some day if there are some changes or it goes for 3 star price. I would still recommend the resort if you get a sale price, go knowing what to expect or pay up and stay in Blau Plus if air con is important to you.

Brisas Covarrubias: Amazing Staff

Quiet, clean, stunning beach. All staff went above and beyond our expectations. Try a kayak into the mangroves, walk for miles in either direction. Snorkel, swim, sun. Great food. No tourist distractions so you are able to relax and unwind completely.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Second time almost as great as the first!

Well kept grounds. Great service. Only disappoint is internet service. Good choice and variety of food. Good snorkelling off the beach. Fun on the Hop on Hop off bus. Interesting and friendly people to meet at the lobby bar.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Out of this world resort

Accommodation 10+ Royal Service staff are a credit to the resort. From the bartenders to the maids to reception desk couldn't ask for more. Grounds / Gardens are absolutely amazing. Gardeners very friendly. You want a resort that has everything. Go Paradisis Rio De Oro!

Brisas Guardalavaca: Tropical,Relaxing,Wallet Friendly Value

Went to this resort with hubby first week of November,beautiful,clean,resort.First time in Holguin,love this part of Cuba friendlier than Veradaro and Cayo Coco.No pressure to tip,2 great pools,variety of entertainment,rustic area. Beach water not the cleanest and food not as good as the last 2 Cuba resorts we've stayed at.

Playa Costa Verde: It was okay

We have been to Cuba 5 times and this one was nothing special. They were renovating the main buffet restaurant, which I understand has to be done during low season, but why not June/July/August ? As a consequence, there were a number of accommodations, like extra sittings at the a la cart, etc. - this seemed to be working okay. The only thing that struck me funny was that they had red bands for return guests and green for new, and the red banded customers seemed to get preferable service at many [... read more] locations. Um, how do you expect to turn the green customers into red, if you persist in this ? Other than that, it was as expected - good beach, friendly people, nice resort.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Excellent resort

The grounds are well kept , the staff is way beyond exceptional , the food is very good never went hungry always found something good to eat . From the grounds keepers , entertainment staff, waiters /waitresses bar staff always friendly and willing to make your vacation enjoyable

Sol Turquesa Beach: quiet and relaxing

The resort was a big spacious place to enjoy Cuban nature and relax. The food was good and plentiful. We enjoyed the spacious room with a balcony. The beach was well kept and the non motorized water sports were enjoyable. We would go here again given the opportunity

Playa Pesquero: Best Resort I have ever been to in Cuba

Amazing food and great service, friendly and helpful staff. My favorite restaurant was the Romantic. The beaches was nice and the pool was huge. The rooms were spacious,very clean and always well stocked. Can't wait to go back.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Back again to the Brisas

Grounds well kept, Villa rooms spacious and very clean. Food is good, staff is excellent, friendly and happy to help. Beach is good, no vendors, great market within walking distance. Good local tours via horse and buggy, plus longer tours via bus

Brisas Guardalavaca: Beautiful

This was our 45th time at Brisas and it was amazing. That is why we keep going back time and time again. Staff are the best ever. I could go on and on about this place. It is simply paradise. Can't wait to go back again.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Hotel experiance was very good.

A couple of issues. There were no lime at bars for Cuba Libre's or mint for mojito's . Bar tenders had to bring in there own. No potatoes for fries. Since it was low season plenty of room on beach with shade.
