Riu Ocho Rios: Rui on the decline

The Rui in Ocho Rios is not a five star hotel, shabby rooms very old beds and poor food. Have stayed in a few Riu's and this was definately a disappointment. Luckily we had a really nice bunch of people to hang with

Sandals Jamaica South Coast: So-so resort

Not exactly the Sandals quality we have come to expect! Food was good, employees nice -- but that's all. First of all we were told we may be moved further along because of "decorating" in the italian complex. Major demolition is more like it (some people weren't even told about"decorating") Lots of constant noise, beach detours, mud, unhappy guests. Certainly a misrepresentation. Not much value here for seasoned travellers. The alcohol "major top level brands" did not pan out. One type o [... read more]f beer, no high end vodka, gin nor tequila. Are we cutting corners here Sandals? Two restaurants were closing, the beach looks pretty in your advertising but, apart from the construction detours, there was mostly seaweed & rocks& mushy bottoms. I would rate this resort at below 4 star. We paid a premium to be here and as far as we can figure, we paid about $1500 more than comparable holidays

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

This hotel is very beautiful....very picturesque! The view is breathtaking from every angle. The actual (hotel), is exactly the same as the pictures displayed, we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean from the room to the lobby, to the beach and to the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. Lots to eat and do according to your interest.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Beautiful resort

I had a great time . everyone was very friendly and nice . I found the bartenters at the lobby taking there time to serve you! They could have more stuff going on during the day . music playing by the pool would have been nice when the entertainment was done during the day.

Sandals Jamaica Negril: Great Honeymoon

Sandals Negril was an amazing spot - it not only met but 100% exceeded our expectations. The property, rooms, service, food and beach were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and will be back at some point. Perfect spot to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary. Thanks again for making us feel at home.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Loved this resort!

Just spent 7 nights at jewel paradise cove and I have to say we loved it! The people are warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, good variety at the buffet, especially enjoyed the meal at the Japanese restaurant. Our room was bright, clean and updated with an amazing view. We took advantage of the free water activities and went paddle boarding and pedal boating. If I had to find one thing that I was disappointed in it would be beach. I knew going in that it was a small beach, but with how it [... read more] was situated in the cove I certainly didn't have the turquoise clear water and seaweed free white sandy bottom that I expect in Jamaica. Sometimes I felt like I was in a lake in Ontario but warmer.

Sunset at the Palms: Wonderful!

Friendly service, beautiful rooms, great jerk chicken hut at beach. Food and restaurant booking system could be improved, but lots of variety at buffet. Only problem with room was there was no bathroom door.

Sandals Jamaica South Coast: Awesome vaca!

This was our first time to a Sandals resort and we enjoyed every minute :) the main pool, water sports and food were amazing! We especially loved the tubing, sailing and paddle boards and used them daily! Thank you for a wonderful vaca!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: wow!! just wow!! :))

My first time to Jamaica and I was beyond amazed!! Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful well kept grounds. Room (only a junior suite) was huge and clean. Pools gorgeous. Bars plentiful and fast service. The Sunset Cove with Jerk restaurant was a delight. Beautiful sandy beach and food excellent. Minimal wait for any of the many a la carte restaurants. I feel like I could go on and on more about how fantastic my week was at this resort. But I won't-go and be amazed at a real 5* resort!

Couples Negril: Best Vacation Ever!

Couples Negril was so amazing and we will definitely be returning. On October 28th my new husband and I left to celebrate our Honeymoon at Couples Negril. When we arrived at the resort we were greeted by lovely staff and a glass of champagne. We were checked into our room in no time and sitting by the swim up pool bar. Immediately we noticed how clean the resort was and how attentive the staff were. We never waited for a drink and when we did not want to get up we could just put the flag up  [... read more]and the staff would be there to get you what you would like to drink. The food was also incredible, from breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner there was always something wonderful to choose from. We were lucky enough to enjoy a private candlelight dinner on the beach. That was by far the best meal that we had and a very romantic touch, I enjoyed lobster while my husband had beef tenderloin. Again we never had to wait for a top up on champagne or wine. We took advantage of the snorkeling and catamaran cruise to swim in the caves and again that was fantastic. Overall we give this resort a hands down 10 out of 10. We met a couple that had been to this specific resort 85 times, they are there 4 times a year and we certainty know why. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

My husband and I stayed at whitehouse from October 29-November 5 2016 for our 1st wedding anniversary... 1 word... Amazing! Yes there was construction but the staff and property made up for it 10 fold

Secrets Wild Orchid: Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I stayed at this amazing resort, WO side PC from October 28- November 4th. This resort is nothing short of absolutely perfect. From the time we arrived, until we left we were treated like absolute royalty. We had a Butler, his name was Miguel (sp?) Our wish was literally his command. He was so very professional, intelligent, respectful, very hard working young Man, with the upmost potential to be the very best in his field. He was always there when we needed him, and he genuine [... read more]ly seemed like he really enjoys his job. He was so happy and joyful it radiated off of him. Right down to everytime he seen us, the genuine excitement on his face, was honestly what felt most like "HOME" That's what this resort prides itself on, they welcome you "home" the minute you walk in that door. The restaurants were amazing, the service would put others to shame, that's how good they are! At this resort, you will feel like you are home, with one giant happy, family, waiting to make your stay the very best. The cleaning staff was efficient, and again, HAPPY!!! Leo, our beach/pool server on WO side PC, blew us away with his personality, attention to detail, and over all, all around, is a huge asset to this resort. Miguel is as well. Those two are quite the team on WO side. The entertainment was exciting, new, and had some of the most amazing performers I have seen to date. I wish I knew all of their names! Kudos to all the entertainment staff :) Coco Cafe, has some of the most delicious hot beverages on their menu. The service is top notch (the beautiful pregnant woman, and short haired woman that has only worked there 4 weeks) Both of them we seen regularly, and both paid attention to detail, was very pleasant, clean, and efficient. The room service was always tasty, AND hot. This resort honestly proves there really is no limit to what they will do to make it your BEST vacation. I travel quite frequently, and have chosen this resort twice. Once for 8 days, another for 10. Within 3 years. This is one of our very favourite resorts, and we will be going back "Home" within the year. I would like to thank everyone at this resort, that works so hard to provide us with the ultimate vacation. You ARE what is right in the Hotel/Management industry!! Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

My Wife and I have been to the " Bahia Principe Resort In Janaica on numerous occasions. It is one of our favourite resort to vacation to. The resort itself is just great and the food at the Buffet is of very good quality. We have dined at all the restaurants during our last vacation., i.e, October 20th to November 3rd, 2016 and found that top notch food is being served. Not once did we complained as to food quality and we ate whatever was ordered. Our favourite restaurant is "Don Pablo". It i [... read more]s a french restaurant and the service was impecable. When visiting this restaurant, ask for "Germaine". He wîll provide you with the type of service that you deserve. After dinner, order the "Banana Flamber". You wîll be impressed. On the negative side, my wife broke her arm when she fell at the resort. No fault of the resort. In the past we have had no problem at this resort who have made a change In some Management areas. For some unfortunate reason we did encounter some Beach problem which was very quickly resolved by the "Manager of Public Relations" and by the resorts "Upper Mandagement". We wîll be returning again for another great vacation.

Sunset at the Palms: Paradise found!

Once again Sunset at the Palms provided us a holiday of pure relaxation and fun. This was our third trip to the Palms and it just seems to get better every time! The raised cottages are one of the reasons we return. The lush vegetation is well maintained and there are birds everywhere! The head gardener, Shorty, and his crew do a spectacular job on the gardens! The staff at Sunset are the icing on the cake with friendliness and dedication to making you feel at home. The buffet is not huge but al [... read more]l the food fresh and very well prepared. The alacarte restaurant food was excellent . The hotel had a Halloween party and did a most excellent job with decoration and costumes! Overall our trip was once again a 5 out of 5

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fabulous resort

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Very large luxurious resort with friendly staff. Always willing to give assistance with any request. The food was typical of most resorts. The rooms are large and spacious with very comfortable beds and the cleaning staff dies a great job. Mini bar filled daily and always an abundance of clean towels. Will definitely be back. October 31 thru November 3/16

Dreams Rose Hall: Incredible Resort

I just returned from a family trip to Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. I had an amazing time. The staff was great. Service was wonderful. Great variety of food. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine, they've got it. The new Waterpark is fantastic. Great for everyone. The rooms were great. Pillows could use a little updating. Having a clock in my room would have been nice. The complimentary WiFi throughout the resort was great. Grounds were kept immaculate. Definitely won't go hungry or [... read more] thirsty. ATM was unavailable during my stay which was inconvenient. I enjoyed the fact that the locals didn't harass me into buying anything. Everyone was so friendly. Great family resort. Lots of entertainment for kids and teens. Room service and housekeeping were great. Adult nightly entertainment needs a little work. As a young single girl I wanted to stay up late and dance. The vibe at the disco didn't offer that which was one of the very few things I was disappointed about. The buffet for lunch needs more options. Will definitely come again with family. Next time I'll try an adults only resort for more entertainment.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Good Resort

All areas of Resort were clean. Grounds were clean. Room was clean, when you walk in your room and can smell bleach you know your room is clean. Food was good. Restaurants were good. Beach and Pool was good.

Riu Palace Jamaica: beautiful resort!

My husband and I stayed at the Rui palace for our honeymoon and we both loved it. Excellent service. Very clean. The beach was wonderful. One thing we didn't love was the constant music in the background.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing Resort

The hotel was very beautiful, amazing staff, Angel from the entertainment staff was awesome ( Angel it's goat curry , not curry goat ) Sandrine at the front desk you are the best, we came in late and you made us feel so comfortable , you provided us with a beautiful room and welcome us with your beautiful smile, thank you. Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: Excellent Resort

The resort is well laid out and very small. The A La Carte restaurants were excellent although the buffet at lunch time was often just ok. The beach while nice is very small and there is some rock just as you enter although I would say there is no need for water shoes. The resort is missing a lobby bar, there is the emerald tree lounge which is off to the side but it is only opened in the evenings. During the day the only bars open are at the beach and pools.
