Casa Marina Reef Resort: Buffet was very good...registration and front desk service was not

For a 3.5 star it was fine. Wish bars were open all night. Front desk staff was not helpful, asked for ground floor as I have knee issues and was put on 3rd floor and then sent to find my way and carry my own luggage with no help

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Nice resort

Hotel is pretty clean people are friendly and staff are very nice with travellers food is ok nice aquatic park for kids spend 7 days with my wife love the resort strongly recommend nice beach but get ready to deal with seaweeds they try hard to get rit off it but overall it’s a very nice resort

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Travel with total ease!!!

Totally relaxing vacation,waited on in every area.Wonderful staff,and beautiful surroundings.Love love love flying out of Hamilton makes travelling so much easier,second vacation of the year,3rd is booked for July going for 4 hopefully in Nov.

Impressive Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

Overall, this resort met most of our expectations, the grounds were maintained immaculately, the pool areas were clean and there was plenty of security everywhere on site, Unfortunately, the room we were assigned had an inoperable tv, and the mattress was hard as a board . As a result we were upgraded the following day to a premium room, at no additional charge, which was far better . The beach was also well maintained, although the staff had a full time job dealing with the seaweed issue that has become a perennial problem in many areas throughout the Caribbean. This was our second visit to the Impressive Punta Cana , and we will be likely to visit again in the future, although we will choose the Impressive Premium next time , from the start

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Ok Resort

We had an older room. Not remodeled.. yucky looking tub, air conditioning barely worked. Actually had air conditioning stop working for a bit but guy got it "fixed". Apparently all rooms were the same for the air conditioning quality. Pool was nice, beach was pretty but small and rocky. Lots of coral to snorkel at the beach. Food was decent. Staff were friendly. I would give a 5/10.

Be Live Collection Punta Cana Adults Only: Meh

The hotel was run down. It was being sold so I don't think the owners were doing much to keep it going. It was only about 40 % full and not enough chairs at pool or beach for everyone. Food same everyday. Service at adults only buffet spotty. Hard to get a 2nd cup of coffee. Went to family side last party of the week. Way better service at their buffet. Sometimes bartender had premium drinks oyher nights gave to try a few bars. Wouldn't go back

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Great Resort

This was our second time to this resort in 8 years. It's always friendly, lots of access to the pool and small enough to feel like you are not going to get lost and can find your group. What I would like to see would have bee some updates over the 8 years although I realize covid played a huge aspect there. We do not like the aggressiveness of the vendors though. We constantly felt harassed by them and then were confronted by them while on a paid for excursion which ruined the day.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Amazing Resort

The rooms were very clean and always fresh water. The staff was amazing. Housekeeping and people that served us. Always a smile and willing to help me any way. I would give them a 10 out of 10. Food was awesome and so much verity. You would never go hungry. Thank you so much for a beautiful week. ♥️♥️♥️

TRS Turquesa: All Around Good Resort

I go on tropical vacations for 1. Beach 2. Food/drinks 3. Nightlife So I will review those things. Food: the food is not michelin star quality but that's not what I expected anyway. I always found something I liked and if you didn't like your meal, they happily replace it with another. The octopus was exceptionally delicious. The Italian restaurant Portofino was yummy. I enjoyed the grill at the beach. It has the best burger you might ever taste, amazing grilled chicken (thighs not brea [... read more]sts yay) and the homemade nacho chips n cheese were soooo good. Beach: I think Negril 7 mile beach is a 10/10 and I haven't found another one I like as much. The beach here is nice...beautiful color/warm water/white sand, but it gets deep very quickly, is windy and wavy with a bit of an undertow and not conducive to floating and relaxing in. There are no fish or ocean life to interact with. I therefore would give the beach here a 6.5/10. Cocktails: The red wine here is superb, when compared to other all inclusives I've stayed at. It's Spanish, robust, somewhat heavy and tasty. The cocktails at the beach were very good, especially the Coco Loco which is basically a creamy coconut slurpee with rum and then cinnamon sprinkled on it. Nightlife: This is where we struggled a bit. The first night we had an amazing fun time at Hemingway (the nightclub on the Palladium resort). A lively Latin singer , then a great DJ playing mainstream music from all eras. The 2nd night we had a blast at Helios beach party. But after that, we couldn't find anything super fun there. Hemingway was either overrun with teens with a DJ playing their type of music and/or the live entertainer was lacklustre. They had silent discos on 2 nights but come on, this is entertainment for 8 yr olds. Most nights we couldn't find anywhere to dance to non-Latin music anywhere on the Palladium property which was disappointing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the service was good/personable. We lucked out with perfect weather for the week. The resort is quite close to the airport so no time wasted traveling to and from.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

For people who are with food allergies like Gluten-free this is a great place to go. Bertinio, Alexander and Martina from the Gourmet a la carte restaurant and Mexican where always on the ball for me exceptional food but difficult for the desert but tenderloin for lunch made up for it. Can't forget about Fernando at the all adult beach great bartender.

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: No shade!

There were 8 umbrella’s & 6 cove like structures around the pool area which housed about 125 lounge chairs so you can imagine it was a bit of a blood bath to get shade. Most of the staff were quite delightful especially those in the entertainment field running activities. One waitress actually rolled her eyes at me at the table when I asked for more wine which I found unacceptable! Rude! Sand fleas were a real issue here, many guests had to see the doctor. Although, as with any resort there a [... read more]re pro’s & con’s the biggest, cheapest fixable issue was shade. So many resorts I have visited in the past had umbrella’s mounted to the side of the pool so no matter what time of the day it was you weren’t melting.

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: Fabulous vacation

Worked with trip central again for my all inclusive trip. Most of my vacations are booked through the site as it is easy to navigate. I would suggest before finalizing your booking to call to discuss with an agent to make sure all your questions or concerns are addressed. There is a lot of information and speaking with someone with experience helps with certain not so obvious facts.

Temptation Miches Resort 21 Plus: Amazing Resort

This resort is fantastic. It is an adult-only resort, so you had better check things out. The theme nights are great if you like to dress up. The staff go out of their way to please you and are always smiling and very friendly. I have to say that Joel and Lessly were the best. The food was fantastic, especially at the restaurant Flame. The beach is absolutely amazing. Go in the mornings it is not as windy. In the afternoon it gets windier and sometimes the umbrellas can fall. Keep an eye out, that's all. Never had a problem with finding lounging chairs. There is security everywhere. So, it is really safe. The only issue we had was that the music was too loud and made it hard to socialize. The drive from the airport was an Hour and a Half long, so 3 really cold beers and you were there. Everything is new at this resort. It had issues opening up because of hurricane Fiona. So, if you're going to complain about some scratching in the paint or chips in the walls, then go to another country. It has only been open for 2 months. Open-minded people need to go to this resort to see it and experience the adult atmosphere.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Amazing Resort

Just returned from Grand Bavaro Princess on Friday March 31st. We absolutely have no complaints. The resort was beautiful and very clean. We loved our rooms and they were cleaned each day and fridge restocked. We ate at the main buffet and the beach buffet many times and also ate at 3 a la carte restaurants. The food was excellent in all locations. No complaints whatsoever. There were food trucks right outside the beach buffet and the food there was excellent also. Caribe Deluxe Princess: Amazing Resort

This resort had alot to offer! It had everything from bowling, relaxing in the sports bar, to enjoying a cup of coffee or an ice cream. The buffet had great food, and the a la carte had even better food. We definitely did not leave hungry! The staff was very helpful and friendly as well which made our stay even better. I would definitely stay at the Caribe Deluxe Princess again.

Punta Cana Princess: Best beach on the Bavaro strip

Clean, well maintained property, friendly staff, good food, very good drinks served by Jose and Glenys at the beach bar. Ingrid was a very good server at Mare Nostrum. We did not partake in the varied activities offered as we wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. One negative is that it took 1 hour to get there from the airport and it's advertised as 25 minutes away.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Tripcentral tricked to book the average room

The booking made on tripcentral was for Pool side room as per the pictures shown when we reached the hotel was offered room which was street view and was old and rusty, later had to waste time to get better room. After struggling for 1 hour and getting a decent room the hand shower was filled with hair extracts have pictures to prove. They had same breakfast and lunch for all days during our stay. The Mexican dinner restaurants and shittiest food

Occidental Punta Cana: Good value

It was a nice hotel with excellent service though sometimes staff was too busy. It would've been useful to have more staff in the buffet restaurants. The alcoholic drinks were EXTREMELY watered down. Would've liked more live music. There were vendors everywhere, constantly, on the resort and on the beach!! Guest services was particularly helpful.Housekeeping was good and rooms were ok. Everyone was scrambling for the few places that offered shade. The beach was beautiful and made for excellent morning walks!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Adults Resort

The Ambar is a great option for couples of all ages to go and relax, have great food, cocktails and atmosphere. The beach is beautiful with lots of sun and shade options. The pool is well equipped with a centralized swim up bar, fountains and plenty chairs and umbrellas. Nightly entertainment is the tame for the Ambar guest but with access to all the Bahia Principe resorts on site, you are a 5 minute stroll to other events at the market, casino and sister resorts. Favourite restaurants were MEAT [... read more], LIMBO and Portabello Italian. Great pasta, steaks, seafood. Appetizers, and pretty decent cocktails. The lobby bar makes excellent drinks and the coffee bar was a nightly occurrence for some Spanish coffee. The sports bar was fun to shoot a game of pool, listen to music and grab some wings and cheese sticks. There is a Hendricks bar on site, although we didn’t take advantage of it. I think this is extra? The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The room came with a stocked mini bar which is free. The maid service would restock daily as required. The main lobby restaurant has great options for breakfast, lunch or dinner and the staff were all very eager to make sure you were having a good time. Daily Mimosas and Caesar’s are at the ready as you enter the restaurant. The beach restaurant has amazing pasta dishes, salad bar etc. Staff were all very friendly. The Ambar is the most updated and beautiful of all the Bahia Resorts on site.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Amazing Resort

When you get to lobby, it is just amazing with the bar, the whale skeleton over it and the floors are immaculate. It was a breeze getting checked in and they take you to your room with the golf carts. We were on the adult side with our pools and beach access and we saw the family side and it was as beautiful. Humongous water park for the kids along with 2 pools and a lazy river. They also had access to the beach on their side. Our room was very clean and had all the usual stuff in it. We had [... read more] chosen the Junior Suite Deluxe with a whirlpool on the second floor that gave you a look over the buildings. The only issue we had is that it took way too long for it to fill up and we did not use it after all. We ate at the restaurant called Pez Dama which is closer to the beach on the adult side. The food and service there was awesome with Manolin and Yoandys as managers, you can't go wrong. They have a Brazilian and Peruvian diner night and they alternate so you can chose which one you want. We went to the main buffet but it did not compare with Pez Dama which was also a buffet. We tried a few restaurants that they have near the main entrance and it was first come first serve except for the Japanese one called Sakura. This one needed reservations and you had to get up very early if you wanted one (6am). We could not do it through the App, you had to be there in person. All of the restaurants menus were on the App that you had to scan at the entrance and you could order from that. If you wanted to pay more, you could get different kind of choices but had to pay extra. The ones we tried were OK but we still went back to that little place Pez Dama. It was a cut above. We looked at Privilege but decided not to go with it. For the difference that you pay it was not worth it (alcohol, rooms,etc). The alcohol in general was at or above what we have seen at other resorts without the Privilege option. They were not cheap with it but did not go overboard also. It was just a good balance. The activities and games that they had at the pool was a lot of fun. Carlos and his buddies made it fun. They were handing out little bottles of Brugal "Ron". The music was not too loud and it had a good mix of everything. The resort was extremely clean and well taken care of by the staff. We had brought some $1 American bills to tip the staff throughout our stay. We did not have too because it was all inclusive but if you wanted something, they remembered you and took care of you - food for thought. We booked our excursion through the Air Canada Rep at the hotel and it was easier that way. All the other companies had one to book also. We did half a day of snorkeling and it was plenty. The only thing I would suggest would be to bring your own fins. We had brought our masks my wife and I expecting them to have fins but they did not. We could have used them immensely when we got in the water as we were pretty far out and had to swim to the enclosure to see the nurse sharks and the rays which was pretty awesome. From talking to other people who went for a full day, they left around 7am to come back around 6pm and they were exhausted. Lol The merchants who were walking the beach were not too aggressive. They would walk by and ask you but we politely said that we were not interested and they kept going. If you are a beach person, this might not be for you as it was not a great beach but you had a little cove beside us that was good. It was windy and had some good waves at times but it was hot during our week (30 degrees). The humidity was not high so it was great. I would recommend it to anyone either couples or families. We got an awesome place for a low price.
