Sol Turquesa Beach: Stunning Resort
This is the first time that I had ever been away. I had never been on a plane or out of the country, this was my very first trip ever. I was super excited for this trip, nervous about getting on the plane and leaving my family behind but it was some well needed time away that I absolutely needed. On Oct 13, the night before my flight I was in a serious car accident. My family car was hit from behind from a tractor trailer leaving me pinned between the back seat and the passenger front seat. Sol Turquesa Beach: HAD A GREAT TIME
Our rooms were very good - right next to the pool with the bar (room 452) - there was about 70 of us for a wedding and a good time was had by all. The food was very good and the fishing trip we went on was wonderful. Staff was great
Sol Turquesa Beach: Great time
Had a great experience at this hotel. Traveled with a large wedding party which was part of the fun. Rooms were large although the rooms had different amenities . Mine did not have a hair dryer while others did not have coffee ect. Staff mostly nice and acomidating - felt like a few were a little shady We probably spent most of out time in the air conditioned cigar bar - there bar tender there is amazing. Very family friendly / amazing pools. - as long as your not to far away from everything [... read more]
Sol Turquesa Beach: Absolutely fantastic!
From the moment we stepped off our bus we fell in love. The staff, the surroundings, the nightly shows, the food all top notch. We were only a few days in stating that we would definitely be back!!!!!
Sol Turquesa Beach: Not enjoyable
Poor customer service at the front desk Air conditioning didn't work and after three calls to the front desk and two visits from technicians promising it would be fixed tomorrow it never did get fixed. Cockroaches in the rooms Prostitution very out in the open Sheets and pillows smell like stale cigarette smoke Drinks and food were not great Beach and water full of seaweed Soap dispensers in washroom lobby never had soap in it The buffet had flies and birds all over the food and tables Swim up b [... read more]
Brisas Covarrubias: Relaxing resort
It was really nice good workers really friendly staff it felt like to be home room was kept clean everyday if there was somethink we need they provide us quicky good food great service really enjoy I even made some friends while I was there I plan to be back soon thanks the only thing I dislike was Mosquitos and no water at night shut down but the rest was ok
Sol Turquesa Beach: Much in need of improvement, sorry to say
The ocean is amazing, the staff amazing, they do everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one. The food however is very much in need of improvement, the same food is served day after day. There were so many flys buzzing everywhere in the buffet and landing on the food that people were calling it the "fly buffet"
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Perfect resort - Royal Service is a must!
We visited Paradisus Rio De Oro on the last week of September. We booked directly through Trip Central to get the Royal Service. The advantage of doing so is that you get a private taxi from the Holguin airport to the resort, which is about a 1hr drive. When we arrived, we were the only clients arriving at the lobby and were served immediately. We had a glass of sparkling wine and a private 10-min tour of the Royal Service part of the resort. I have to say the "regular" part of the resort is, to [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: exceptional
Royal Service section of the resort was terrific. Excellent personalized service, wonderful and spacious suites with outdoor shower. Good private beach and access to all a'la carte restaurants. Surprisingly good fod for Cuba.
Paradisus Rio De Oro: not 5 star hotel
Just came back from one week vacation with my husband and this is our 10th time in Cuba.Arrival : Sunwing representative was poor. Bus was filthy. Check in was unprofessional. Food was mediocre. Service was fare. Beaches were OK. Grounds were excellent. Room was dated not 5 star. Room service was good. We will never go back because it is not 5 star hotel as we will let to believe.(May be 3.5 star)
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Good time once again
Club amigo guardalavaca is a typical 3 star resort with one BIG difference.. Staff are amazing. Even front desk people. We checked in late (midnight) we were a group of 6 with 4 rooms. Our son and his friend were given a room with 1 king size bed. Upon returning to front desk they were changed to a room with 2 beds. No problem. Maids are great.
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Fantastic resort
The hotel was all I could image plus. There was some construction on the roof in the lobby but that didn't stop the staff being there for your every need. I have been telling everyone who will listen what a Great resort it us. The staff was out of this world. I will come back again soon!
Paradisus Rio De Oro: romantic quiet resort
This hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable, room is spacious well taking care of, food was great except need more choice for people who don't eat meat, we were a group of people and we notice mist of the bar tender ignore you until they received a tip, it change their mood like day and night its funny but we checked it out over and over.
Playa Pesquero: playa pesquero
have been to 4 different resorts in Cuba ,this was our second stay there ,we will go back, for the money we spent well worth it,all around the best of all that we have been at,would recomend it to freinds
Playa Costa Verde: Nice resort but showing age.
This is our 4 year going to this hotel this time it was very noticeable that the rooms are looking very run down the mattresses and coverings need to be renewed, the safe was broken, the patio door required two people to open. It had fallen quite a bit from our first visit. Also this time we found the food quality left a lot to be desired. The service was good and the resort is very clean and beautiful.
Paradisus Rio De Oro: amazing resort
I would go back tomorrow. The resort was everything someone would want in a vacation. The staff was great. The food delicious and everyone was made to feel special. I would recommend this resort to everyone.
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Big place, very clean, older building.
The grounds and public area are very nice and well kept. Wonderful people and very clean. Access to the beach very close by, beaches one of the best we have been on. Pure white sand, clean, lovely emerald green water to swim in. Great variety of food.
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Amazing beach
There is a local "Miguel" provided us amazing services at the beach did a whole snorkelling adventure with pictures under water it was an amazing experience. Also the cafe on the second floor " ashley cafe " has amazing coffee and you can donate to the Ashely fund.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Another Great Stay!
This was our 2nd visit at the Brisas Guardalava this year. Everything was just as great as the first stay. Food, cleanliness, staff and service always deliver and met our expectations. Hope to return soon!
Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: amazing staff
Everyone knows you don't go to Cuba for the food. But the food in the Ala carte amazing. Staff was great well worth the money for a 3 star. Great family resort. Locals are amazing and the entertainment is great.
