Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: It is such a great place close to beach , pool and restaurant.

Sanctuary is our home away from home been there 9 times. The staff are the best always trying to help from the maid to the waitresses , bartenders , butlers , to the manager . Clean rooms and comfortable beds .The food is good some shortages but alway good .

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Amazing

Very organized and on time the tours. Very clean!! People very friendly and polite A pleasure to walk around the area I loved the shower outside right after coming from the beach 😊. Food great. Love the small restaurant. It made the dinner special 👏

Melia Las Americas: Amazing resort

My friend and I loved this resort and were very impressed with the hotel and its services. The food was amazing, the pool and beach were stunning and the staff were so lovely and helpful. We felt extremely safe and taken care of the entire 7 days we were there. Huge bonus for the additional a la carte restaurants and water activities that were included. Also, booking excursions was such a smooth process. I 100% reccomend this hotel to everyone who wishes to have a pleasant vacation in Cuba.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Beach & Staff!

Love the laid back feel of the resort. My room was very clean. The maid made sure I had everything I needed/ The food was plentiful. The staff were attentive. The beach was beautiful. The water Is a shallow walkout Will definitely be going back! Great Coffee at the Beans Cafe! The art work on the coffees is amazing!

Roc Barlovento: Great Resort

They do their best to make you feel comfortable and there is always good food at the Buffet. Times are hard for Cuba but they do what they can for you. Trip Central Why is it that this review will not submit unless there are over 200 characters in this section?

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Stunning resort and beach

The rooms are gorgeous. Brand new. Beds so comfortable and rooms ice cold. We had the rooftop. It was huge. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. The people are so kind and the service is amazing It’s a place where you go to relax. Not much of a nightlife. Also there is a lack of food. We didn’t starve. But it’s not the same as it was preCovid. Not even close. Room fridge only has one bottle of water a day. There was a lot of shortages. No seafood at all. The f [... read more]ood situation needs a major improvement. NOW the travel, what a nightmare with SUNWING. Delay after delay after delay. There and back. Sunwing changed our travel times by 12 hour to go there and they added a stop in Holguin. On top of that we were delayed by the sunwing crew for 4 hrs. Coming home was another nightmare, our sunwing rep at the hotel made us waste our last day and sent us to the airport too soon, he didn’t get the delay notifications and argued that his supervisor didn’t inform him even though we showed him the multiple emails from sunwing all day long with delay notifications. We had to tell him. We got the airport before the staff was there and we had to wait outside in 40 degree weather fighting off the mosquitoes for a hour and a half. Never again sunwing. Ever.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: A wonderful vacation

Our stay at Grand Sirenis was enjoyable. This is a newer hotel which kept their rooms clean, bars stocked, coconuts available, and no shortage of food. The staff was particularly friendly and attentive where ever you went. Our favourite was Elizabeth who attended to us in the lobby bar. She is very friendly and such a sweetheart! Paradisus Rio De Oro: Nice resort

The resort was clean and nice but for me personally there were more negatives than positives. A lot of the food at the a La cartes were pretty much all the same not much variety. Not much variety in drinks, mainly just rum drinks. One of the days my maid didn’t even clean my room and for two days they didn’t put more beer in the fridge. Unfortunate to see that they didn’t have their buffet running but that was due to the low season. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Best time ever

ust spent my first time in Cuba after being to jamaica in January and April - In my opinion This resort was truly amazing- Checkin was quick easy and extremely welcoming. We stayed in villa 3601 wich was diamond club al fresco it had an OUTDOOR and INDOOR SHOWER 😲🤩👌 with decent water pressure, a very functional AC,little balcony and was 2 steps from the beach. - definitely worth the upgrade ( I traveled sunwing from montreal who made this upgrade very easy) The beach was absolutely bea [... read more]utiful with calms waters, I only ate at the buffet which yes it was limited, however the pasta / pizza bar and fresh stir fry section was a hit. Im told from many the a la cartes were also great, but be sure get a reservation to book it upon arrival- Also best poutines at Bites outdoor restobar point is you will not starve. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes if you want to be in the bush or your often bit. They were not as bad as i expected, but we did bring spray. The staff would prefer USD or Canadian bills over the pesos, Please tip generously, and bring them as much as you can as gifts 🎁 Also so many friendly guests at this place your sure to make friends I loved it!

Playa Pesquero: Amazing as always

After three long years of not going back to Cuba, I finally decided to go back. At first, I was reluctant in returning since knowing how things are in Canada, employees don’t usually stay for a long time at the same place. To my pleasant surprise, 90% of the employees are the same as before. Not one day went by that I did not have people with beautiful smiles greeting me. The staff at Italian and Romantico are absolutely amazing and accommodating. Get ready to see me again in October! I was so pleased with my vacation that upon my return to Canada, I booked a package for my father for him to go experience his first vacation in Cuba at this hotel. Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Great resort

This was a lovely resort in Cuba. We went at the end of June so it was very quiet and all of the guests were told to use the Royal service pool and beach in order to consolidate services, staff and amenities. All of the resort staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite up to date and clean and a couple of minor issues with the shower were fixed as soon as we brought it to their attention. The beach and ocean were absolutely superb. The pool was clean. The food was limited as expect [... read more]ed in Cuba but the service was good. Note that there were lots of mosquitoes in the evening so bringing insect repellent is a must.

The regular Cuban "Package"-clean ,safe beautiful flowers and trees .Exceptional staff even for Cuba (been many many times in all provinces) no food poisoning -thanks ....yes mosquito-lots))) yes flies everywhere- go in the winter instead...lol

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Elegant, excellent service

Excellent service, hotel are elegant, beautiful beach... Good house keeping, the beach are beautiful and very clean . The maid and Host are always available. The Bell boy drive us around resort are extremely professional...

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Great resort 5 stars

The hotel is great very clean.. nice views.. open concept spacious .. great staff and services ... variety of food and entertainment.. The only complains is lack of cooling system at reception/ lobby during hot and humid weather Elevators bit slow in some areas

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Nice, quiet, friendly resort.

Beautiful beach! Buildings, pools, gardens...all look very attractive! We were greeted with champagne and great hospitality. The food was a little less than before but we knew that before we booked. Breakfast was my favorite meal, pastries, eggs etc. And the fruit was amazing! Entertainment at night was wonderful! Overall a very nice stay!

Melia Cayo Coco: Very good place to stay and relax

We stayed in Melia Cayo Coco May 12-19. Overall, the vacation was good: the weather was nice, with a few rains, perfect beach, decent food, nice pool and activities during day and evening time entertainment. The only glitch was an alcohol: the variety was not great and, most importantly, the resort first ran out of red wine on Sunday, May 14. Then by Monday they ran out of the white wine and by Tuesday – out of sparkling wine. So, wine lovers out there – be aware! We had to settle for beer a [... read more]nd rum as we are not cocktail-lovers. We talked to the administration rep in the Guest Experience office, they cited some delivery issues with a truck stuck for some reason or other in Havana. Whatever the reason was – fact is, they didn’t solve till the end of our stay on May 19 and we don’t know when they finally were able to re-stock they wine supply. Other than that we liked the resort: it’s clean, the staff is friendly, in the eating area there are cooking stations where chefs are cooking meat, fish or pasta for you if you’d like. Our special thanks to the entertainment team and their coach – they were young and energetic and put on a great show every night, everyone enjoyed it!

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Love this place!

I've been here before and will go again... The renovated Mare part of hotel (Luna part is under renovation) looks very nice. Everyday cleaning inside and out makes it look bright! Weather (middle June 2023) was wonderful! Three restaurants serve your needs all day! You always find something special for yourself. Entertaining was surprisingly very good comparing to previous years. I enjoyed the concert with beautiful and very talented girl who made a perfect show with Whitney Huston songs. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: We were not happy w/ the resort . Out of 40 times been in Cuba this one had been the the worst

We travel to Cuba for the ocean and the sun but this time the food was really ,really bad ,Aston is a 3 star resort only and not a 4.1/2. star. 1) not sufficient satff 2) room given WAS NOT a superior room., it was only a standard room. Room and arounds not very clean 3) luck of shows for children and adults 4)Transportation in the hotel was done with one car, most of the time out of service 5) many more issues , we over paid the vacation s b

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: By far the worst resort ever in my 25 years of travels.

I have never in my 25 years of travelling complained once about a resort, this is the exception!!!! From the first day to the very last everything went wrong from day to day.This is all I’m going to say because people would not believe what went wrong on our 14 day (every day)vacation at this resort starting with management and their lack of professional courtesy towards tourist. We’ve done a lot of travelling and at ton of hotels including Iberostar which was one of the hotels we loved but all of this change with ALAMEDA. We were planning to go to Iberostar in Riviera Maya this fall but are now looking at alternative hotels.
