Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good Resot

Everything from alexandra biddle from Trip central was absolutely fantastic she was thorough informative and extremely pleasant to us. The Grand Bahia was a great resort. They could use some work on their house keeping and a few other small areas but the foodand atmosphere was nice.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: My stay at The Palladium

Most excellent was the stay, the grounds, the people, the beaches and the accommodation, however the buffet was inconsistently good, the theatre entertainment could be better. The shuttle around the grounds was a nice touch.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: good resort...very clean

everything was wonderful....clean resort....friendly staff. The nightly entertainment was inadequate.....the beach was not very nice. The food was very good. I don't have anything else to say about this resort.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: i enjoyed my stay the resort was breath taking

The hotel staff and resort were wonderful the weather was a little off because of rain but other than that it was a great experience.My flight was probably the two most stress free flights I ever had I commend West Jet for adding to a wonderful vacation.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Good Resort

Positve: Room we had was very nice. Maid came every day and also did turn down service. Room was very clean. Great view of the pool and the sea. Food: Food was good both at the buffet and the Ala carte restaurants. It wasn't very busy when we were there so had no problems with making reservations. There is about 2hrs. In the afternoon that you can't get food because the snack bar is getting set up for dinner. People: All the staff were very friendly and always willing to accommodate.  [... read more] Negative: If you looking for entertainment you will be disappointed. The pool is loverly however, the set up of it makes it difficult for everyone to experience the pool activities. Most of the activities and the swim up bar are in what they consider the main pool area. The pool is one big area but it is separated by two bridges on both sides. This means that if you want a drink you have to get out of the pool and enter again near the bar. The design is not conducive to having everyone unite. If you want beach, this not the resort for you. I personally prefer the pool so I did not mind. My brother in law likes to take long walks on the beach so he was disappointed .

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Community food Advisor

Great location buildings are now aged and needs updating . The Bath tub and vanity drains drains very slow, they both need cleaning or unclogging. Clogged drain can be contagious and create an atmosphere for the growth of bacteria. The sent of garbage and sewer is not pleasant as you walk the North West side of the property . Dinning room staff some what rough could be more refined and be more attentive to their tables and spend less time chatting in groups of three or more . What I really don't like as a black person is that they seemed to be more attentive to the whites than the we the black people their own colour . I am not sure if it's because they think they may not get as much tips. If this be the cause they need to be inform that we all have paid for service in the package that we bought. Tipping is optional and it's base on the service you received . If I have to wait for a glass of red wine after asking two different people and was never ask again if I would like another. This was my 4th stay at the Decameron and this was my worst experience not to speak of my two cousins whom I introduced to the Decameron as a place to stay while visiting Jamaica . Food I must give the Chefs complement for what they are able to do with what they have to work with . There is a great amount of recycled items which after 6 days my system can no longer absorbed. The meat items are of the medium to low end cuts. no Prime rib of Beef , roast Duckling ,filet mignon, lamb chops , lobster , Shrimp, Coquille St Jacque , Charge a bit more if need to . Over all for me it's about the location and my needs doing business between Browns Town, Minard and Runaway Bay it's just the right fit for a business trip. Satisfactory meals and clean bed at night.

Nice hotel landscaping is beautiful and well kept. Food was not so good, service was ok not everyone greet you..DId not like them selling me time sharing. be careful. people on vacation got hook into this it can't be cancel because it is a contract. this shouldn't be allowed on the resort. Forks, spoons and knives are set on all the tables at the snackbar outside, were open and not wrapped flies were on them. I heard people complaining saying that's not hygienic at all. This is something [... read more] upper management should address this is not hygienic. Snack bar is open all day to get different kind of food great location very quiet.

Riu Ocho Rios: Excellent

Been to this resort before n loved it. .....this was my 2nd time there n loved it even more. .the food was amazing. ..the staff was nice. ...entertainment was good. ...the crowd was lively and friendly. The rooms are good but I do agree on updating a few things like the metal keys are old school for the door and the safe. ...combination locks are better. ..and cards for the door instead of metal keys. There was a slight smell in the rooms but it was tolerable. Other than those little things  [... read more]the Riu resort is the spot to go to if your in Jamaica and you want to have a good time with good food. I will be recommending it to everyone !

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing resort

Everything was great at this resort! Good food nice room excellent service beach is not the best but snorkelling was amazing right in the cove beach. $300 resort credit is a plus. Used it at the spa. Sooo nice!! Definitely would return but will not fly Sunwing again so probably can't return

Riu Montego Bay: Wonderful place to relax, even better people!

I was told I would love the Riu - but only when I went there, did I realize just how much. You will want for nothing. The scenery is spectacular, the people work so hard to make your stay pleasant, and if there is anything amiss, they will fix it as soon as they can. The only thing that I would advise is that when I went (end of May/early June), there were families with kids which I could have done without. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Vacation

I was blown away by how beautiful and clean this resort is. I loved the group check in with the champagne and cool towel. Every single staff member was super friendly and couldn't do enough for my husband and I. The Jazmine buffet was excellent especially the eggs benedict and Irish coffee. A la cartes we chose were Dolce Vita, Rodizio, Don Pablo and Mikado all of which were excellent. We especially loved the martini bar behind the Dolce Vita for watching the sunsets. The staff there are wonder [... read more]ful. Since it was our anniversary our room upon arrival was decorated with flower petals, balloons, a fruit basket and a champagne bucket....just amazing. Room was beautiful and the fourth floor and faced the pool and ocean. Our maid did a great job and we had no problems with clean towels or amenities. The pools are so clean and the entertainment and bar staff is wonderful. The only thing we didn't like was the new Luxury beach. Its just awful. We went to the farthest beach on the west side of the resort just before the nude beach. The water is deeper, no rocks and there is a bar and bathroom right there. Lots of security around so you feel very safe. We just loved this place and will certainly return again.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Beautiful

Lovely beach, fabulous food and friendly staff. Will go back again. Had a great trip. Great performance. Dinner on the beach, excellent food and great memories so many positive we love it and day trip

Riu Ocho Rios: Friendly staff and clean resort!

We spent 1 week at Riu ocho rios in may. I travelled with 2 kids (including a baby) and my teenage son. We all had a great time. The room was very clean as was the resort as a whole. The staff all work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. We did not book any of the restaurants, we were actually very pleased with the food selection in the buffet and opted to eat all of our meals there. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, whether travelling as a couple or as a family.

Couples Sans Souci: Quality

Great place to relax and be pampered.....small resort so you don't feel rushed for anything...quality service. The reservations fro dinner is a bit of a nuisance...but the 4 outdoor buffets were really great...

Couples Sans Souci: Just like we remember it - an amazing resort!

As usual, the staff at Sans Souci outdo themselves in taking care of us. Food was excellent, and service was exactly what we've always come back to Jamaica for. We stayed in Section D in a beautiful Ocean Suite, and absolutely loved the huge blue tile shower. The room was immaculate , and bar service plus room service every day to our room made us feel pampered. Couples Negril: best trip in a long time

The hotel and staff should be proud of there great service food and helpful nature it made the holiday peerfect I have nothing to add to this review the place will make every attempt to make anyone happy

Beaches Ocho Rios: not bad but has changed a lot!

I like staying there, i have been for over 10 years now. However, i noticed the last few times they have the music to loud late in the night. Also night, though i don't mind the locals hanging out in the back "public beach", they have become way to loud and comfortable making it difficult to get some rest. I also think some staff and house keepers in the early morning. Not professional to be talking and caring on so loudly in the hallways or surrounding property first thing in the morning. i fou [... read more]nd it hard to get sleep at night or if needed, sleep in. They are cool people but they have to realize its a work place with guests and not there personal "yard". I think they need a baby sitter telling them to keep it down a bit lol. other then that the place is nice. But i was disrupted by there loud talking all to often the last couple visits there. If they don't smarten up i will have to stay else were. Thanks :)

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: not worth the cash

The resort is beautiful, and the food is very good, the beach is very bad stony and shallow and very pretty to look at. The snorkeling beach did make up for the lackluster so called "luxury" side beach. Unfortunately my friend and i did have some issues upon arrival at the hotel. First we were checked in "en mass" which was annoying as there were quite a lot of people and we had to wait a long time before we were given our room key, we also had to wait for really long time for our welcome d [... read more]rinks which i think some unfortunates never even received. When we were finally given our room key we discovered that there was already someone assigned to that room, we had to go all the way back to the lobby to a staff that looked annoyed and not at all apologetic and assigned another room, which was a King bed, again wrong as my friend and i had asked for double beds. so we had to make another trek back to the lobby carrying our heavy bags and they told us that we never asked for the double beds they are at capacity too bad so sad.... please come back tomorrow ... we went back to the lobby for 3 days before they finally gave us another room. It was just an awfully frustrating experience... for a 5 star hotel this level of service is surprisingly bad. don't waste your money. this hotel is not worth it.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Ibero-mazing!

beautiful hotel...amazing staff...food soooo good!. have zero complaints...we will be back...stayed mid may for a week...amazing beach ..pool... and a lazy river...what else do you need???...easiest transfer we have ever had...we travel to all inclusive hotels every year for the last 23 years...i would recommend to all couples and family's...you can go cheaper but well worth the extra few bucks totally!!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Absolutely amazing resort

To start off I travel about 4-5 resorts a year and never the same one twice, but let me say we've already booked our second trip to the Grand Palladium for October of this year. Service was exceptional. They were so accommodating. We even go upgraded to the Lady Hamilton side at no cost. The staff was respectful and very informative. The food was unreal! Our rooms were outstanding. Very clean! Tameka, our in house cleaning lady was the friendliest individual by a far. We've already recommended this resort to friends who arrive in 6 days :)
