Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice family vacation

My wife, two daughters and I spent a week over Christmas at the resort for the first time. It was a good fit for us. Our teenage girls met a good group of friends and spent much of their time involved in the daily activities. My wife and I enjoyed relaxing on the beach and around the pool. Food and beverage was done well, two good buffets with offsetting hours along with 5 specially restaurants. It was hard to look at the scales when we got home. The majority of the staff was genuinely nic [... read more]e and helpful, although we did run into a few that seemed like they’d rather be somewhere else, I do find that’s pretty normal in the service business especially at a big resort. I did find the rooms above average for what we paid and the cleanliness was quite good. Our daughter’s are already asking about a trip back to the same resort next year and that sounds good to my wife and I.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort, wonderful resort, excellent

The best resort we’ve been for everything we rate 100%. Excellent for everything :dining,cleanliness,beach,pool etc. We were very happy and had a wonderful vacation and holiday at Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal Don Pablo Colection

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful grounds

Grounds lovely, not many staff spoke English. No elevators so we had to move to 1st floor. This was disappointing but first floor room in better condition. Drapes on 3rd floor room off hooks in places. Food was adequate.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: very nice resort

hotel a little dated but very clean. jerk chicken every day for lunch was so good. too many stairs to terrace but good exercise. kids water park perfect. beach great for kids and adults so clear and not to deep. Japanese rest very good also don pedro good. Christmas eve gala good good food lobster tails excellent. had agreat time with family of nine.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Not so 5 star

The hotel is really good but that's compared to its lower end 'Grand Bahia Principe'. For the price we paid and service we expected, there were definitely some hiccups that others noted (in reviews around internet) Room service is hit and miss, they some times won't replace all of your towels, we didn't have beach towels when we arrived, no fridge restocking half the time, reception don't follow up with promises, room service food is almost always dry. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Nice resort but not 5*

Beach was absolutely amazing! Spent all of our time there. Pool is quite small with a lot of kids in it. Food and bars close early, food was quite good and so were drinks. Bars were understaffed. Room was large and clean but beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Check in was beyond ridiculous...have never seen anything like it before. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: It was AMAZING!!!!!

The people, the service, the amenities, the food, the drinks everything was incredible.You really got to experience the 5-star treatment and felt like royalty. I will definitely be planning a return trip soon I hope...

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Friendly, accommodating resort

Very pretty, serene, resort on a hill top with spectacular views of the bay. Room was spacious, no ambient noise at night and housekeeping was great. All in all this resort has it all from friendly reception staff, to a nice selection of food at breakfast, dinner and supper. Bar area inside and outside was very spacious and inviting.

We found everything was very beautiful at the resort. Staff were great as well as entertainment. Food was good as well. Only problem we had was air transit on our last day, no one knew where the bus was, we were told to wait at one spot the bus did not arrive until 10am, we did not leave customs until 1145am with the flight leaving at 1230.

Nice all inclusive resort with excellent service and amenities. - Kids club for ages 4 and above: the staff was very reliable and the kids enjoyed it tremendously with both indoor and outdoor activities! - weather was great - splash pad and pool were excellent - buffet was pretty extensive. However, need to provide more options for vegetarians and vegans.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort but terrible food

Resort facilities are nice. Workers do smile and responsive to visitors requests. Good kids club. Good shows. Good water park. However terrible food. Lacks variety and vegetarian options are a joke. If you don’t eat meat, get ready to feel starved.

Nous avons séjourné au Bahia Principe Punta Cana à trois reprises, dans un intervalle de temps de 11 ans (deux fois au Bavaro et une fois au Esmeralda). Les trois expériences ont été somme toutes agréables. Les points forts de cet hôtel sont la plage et la propriété des lieux communs. Les points faibles sont la présence d'embarcation motorisée (pollution sonore et écologique) et le fait que l'hôtel cultive une culture de différentiation entre les clients. Nous ne pouvions pas aller au Fantasia, ni dans la section Ambar, ni souper en famille dans les restaurants gourmets du site (interdits aux moins de 18 ans), ni aller dans les sections réservées au Club. L'hotel Esmeralda devrait avoir ses propres restaurants gourmets. Autres points à surveiller : la qualité de la nouriture et du service dans les restaurants (inégale d'un endroit à l'autre).

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: The ideal family resort...

If you are looking for a relaxing family getaway, than this resort should be on your short list. Great pool, service, food and cleanliness is what you would expect and get from this 4 & 5 star resort. It is a bit of a commute from the airport (about 90 km's) so some snacks on your carryon will go a long way. The beach is what it is. It is not one of those breath taking turquoise water white sand beaches you see in advertisements. It is a good beach to be fair.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Fantastic vacation

We just returned from a week vacation at Grand Bahia Principe and can say without a doubt this was our best yet. We were there for Christmas and the festive dinner we had there was unbelievable. The resort staff works really hard to keep the grounds in pristine condition and the entertainment crew was very good. The food was amazing and my 6 years old enjoyed the kids club a lot. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Paradise

We thought this all-inclusive adults-only resort was amazing, went with adult children and had a blast. It is a very large resort (many combined) but our part was the best. The food and the rooms etc. were excellent

We arrived Dec 19 and After reading some reviews I was nervous about our stay. However, I am pleased to say that this resort was really well kept and maintained. Our room was on the 5th floor, beautiful view, loved our room! Food was amazing... tons of variety, nobody left hungry. Jerk chicken was so good! They had a Christmas Eve gala and the spread was incredible... well done Grand Bahia! Lots of beaches, lots of chairs available, very spacious resort. The views were absolutely stunning here! The food is very good and the resort is nice and well maintained. Very clean!!! Everyone is so friendly! One thing I would say is there are a lot of stairs which we liked because it was good exercise (HAHA) but if you are elderly and can't do many stairs this may be difficult. They do offer 24 hour shuttle service though which helps a lot. Just have to call front desk and they send it in a timely manner!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful location

When I selected this resort I saw that an airport was 34 km away. I found out after that this airport is only used for Saturday flights. The result was an added four hour cross country trek in a van, after arriving 183 km from the resort. The resort staff are very friendly, with most just learning to speak English. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although our jacuzzi tub did not work. A variety of daily activities are available, and nightly entertainment shows are a nice way to spend the e [... read more]venings. The beach party was interactive and the best of the bunch. The resort has a long beach, that the staff maintain well. The a la cartes give you way more food than needed, and the buffet also encourages overeating, with so much food available. If you decide to go, make sure to book a Saturday flight!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort, wonderful Staff!

Everything was wonderful from the bus ride to the food to the rooms themselves, pools were very clean and service was amazing would definitely return to this resort.The only things that i would like to see improved are perhaps the wifi in the lobby as it gets quite slow and unusable at times, as well as booking restaurants for reservations and for Christmas. we spent full morning being told to go to different places of the resort to book our reservations. aside from this wonderful trip!
