Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Okay Resort

Overall, the vacation was good. Drinks were cold, sun was hot and beach was amazing. the food was horrible, usually at other resorts in Cuba you can always find something to eat, not at this resort. The rooms were kept clean, the chamber maids work very hard. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. All staff were very nice, and helpful. Would not return to this resort again though.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Awesome Resort

The Resort was fantastic, the food excellent. The shows were fantastic and the star friends were great. Really enjoyed ourselves. This resort is a scuba diving, snorkelling paradise. So the beach wasn't the best for walking into the ocean. You need water shoes.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Everthing you need in a resort

One of the best resorts I have been to. Has everything you need and more. Great service, food and amenities. .This resort is built right in the jungle, animals were everywhere. Woke up to many birds chirping and peacocks on our balcony. ..highly recommend this resort.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Awesome vacation

There is 13 people in our party and we had a fantastic time. The staff was friendly, food was great. Always fresh, lots of vegetables, plenty of variety. different theme nights. The entertainment was good. Our rooms were clean. I can't say more about this resort. The only downfall was the beach. Plenty of huts and chairs but you cant walk into the water. Lots of coral. This place was a scuba driver paradise. I did read that on the reviews but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. The only [... read more] way into the water was going out the long pier and down the stairs. We spent most time at the pool which was amazing. Erika was the best. she sat with us at breakfast one morning and remember all of our names for the whole week. They encourage was to play Bingo at pool side, aqua fit in the pool and the guys had us playing volleyball in the pool too. We all had a great time.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Small Older Resort

I had read great reviews on this resort however it was not the resort for me. Unfortunately the hotel part of the resort is in very bad condition from the rooms with rust in the bath tub to musty smell in the rooms. The elevator was scary as well to get to our room. The buffet is very small. I have been to Cuba every year for the past 10 years and this was the smallest buffet I Have ever seen. There was just no selection. I found the staff to be very nice. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Better then expected

Smaller hotel, close to beach.Service good and professional. Drinks are good...scotch, rum, tequila ,brandy, gin, vodka...decent red and white vine from Spain. Cappuccino is ok same as the espresso. Rooms are clean, if you dont have enough water just ask for refill in the buffet restaurant. Internet very slow, better get your own plan. 2 tennis courts, ok gym, cheap massage .Best ala cart the Cuban , second best Mexican...dont go to the Italian...

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Fair Resort

The resort needs an update. It has 2 pools. Good beach. Staff was great. Food is sub-par (buffet and a la carts). NYE lobster dinner was excellent though. Rooms are decent. 1 hr ride from airport. Would not return.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great view, nice beach and good food!

This resort is well maintained, even though it is a bit outdated. The landscaping and grounds were well groomed; rooms and restaurants need some updates. The service and staff are happy to assist when needed. The management should improve their entertainment programs and availability for beverages.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Tropical Oasis

On the whole, it was a great resort. The room was a little dated, the outlets in the bathroom and room didn't work and it would have been nice if the dance club was actually open. The beaches were phenomenal and the snorkelling was great! We quite enjoyed the food and selection and the weather was great minis the mosquitos at night.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: great resort

well kept property, very friendly staff. Initially did not get our room requests, however we were then moved to another building closer to the beach that matched our request. enjoyed the ice cream at the beach!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great Resort

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and spacious and were close of all the amenities. Staff were very friendly. WiFi was available throughout the hotel and beach areas. The food was very good and we enjoyed our dinners at the a la carte restaurants. However, if you are looking for a evening party experience, you may be disappointed because there are limited options.

We really enjoyed this trip. The resort was beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. There was Friendly staff, good food, lots of activities, beautiful beach, excellent music and evening entertainment.

Hotel Mojito: nice place and nice service

very nice place near de airport, and hotel service is complet, delivery drink on the beach and pool! clean room, and toillet all the site. manny bar and resto, food it's Cuba is very nice. iberostar mojito is realy great palce. thank you offer this hotel in your choice.

Hotel Mojito: Beautiful beach

The hotel itself is mediocre. It's a little run down and dated, and the entire section of bungalows near the ocean are closed (due to lack of bookings according to staff). It was the same situation at Tryp next door - the flamingos are gone and a big chunk of the resort is closed down. There are no balconies and the rooms are not near the ocean, so no ocean views. We were given two rooms in block 18, and despite requesting the quietest section two times at check in, and reassured by the woman at [... read more] reception that it was a very quiet area, it was extremely loud. Much too close to the pool and entertainment with their booming speakers. That was a big disappointment, and we should have insisted to switch rooms. The food was much better than expected and all 5 of us were very happy with the selections. It's nothing fancy, but there was seafood every day and lots of meats, breads, fruits and vegetables. We would have enjoyed the entertainment a lot more if it was more in Cuban style. The dancing was well done but we didn't go to Cuba to listen to North American music. The beach is gorgeous with powdery sand and clear water. They clean the seaweed most days and there are a number of shade shelters that we were always able to get. Both times that we were in Cayo Coco it was extremely windy, and this time they would not lend out any kayaks, paddle boats, catamarans etc. due to the extreme wind. The staff was friendly, the resort was rundown but clean, pools were nice, and the ocean was spectacular. If you are going on holiday mostly for the resort itself, it's a 3 star hotel, and that's what you should expect to get. If you are going for the beach and ocean, Cayo Coco is 5 star all around. I don't think we would go back to Mojito, and after seeing Tryp would not go back there either (we stayed there four years ago and it has definitely gone downhill). Despite its good points we will look for something a little nicer next time.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Good resort

Everything was good only the beach was not to nice and clean, and I think is better to go there in another season it was very windy. The room conditioners are old. If you live tips they will clean you very well the room, the service is good. The beach bar is not situated very well it is not on the beach but beside.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Beautiful Resort, Wonderful Staff

We chose ths resort as we hadn't been on a sun vacation in 7 years and wanted this to be a memorable experience. We wanted a 5 star vacation and we got it. Everything from the food to the beautiful room, the grounds, the pools and the staff far exceeded our expectations. Our room overlooked the pools; however we still managed to get a beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed ordering our breakfast the night before and hanging the menu on our hotel room door for pick-up. The room service food was delicious and we ordered room service a few nights as we were too tired to go to the buffet. We never waited longer than 40 minutes. All of the food at the buffet was delicious and there was always alot to choose from. The Italian a la carte restaurant served delicious food and we had a nice quiet meal there with excellent service. We spent our days either at the pool or on the beach. The waitresses were always there and we never really had to get up to go get a drink. The service was impeccable. We saw 4 or 5 of the 7 shows and they were all quite entertaining. Our favourite was the 70's themed disco show. The singing and dancing were all very professional. Our maid called us by name. The butler was extremely helpful and Bubbles taught us how to play dominos in the piano lounge while we had one rainy morning....by the way, it cleared up quickly and we spent the rest of the day outside by the pool. The only thing that I even hesitate to mention was the fact that our ceiling fan on our balcony, wasn't in working order. We never called the staff to mention it as it didn't really seem all that important. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and in the evening. The week flew by much too quickly. We were treated royally the entire time and were very sad to leave. We would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely staff, beautiful resort, gorgeous rooms, almost perfect weather.

Updated room very nice, excellent service. Any problems were fixed ASAP. Beach was beautiful! Bugs were bad from all the rain during our visit in early December. Have been in that area a year ago and no problem with bugs.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Disappointed

I've stayed at this resort many times in the past but the experience I experienced this time was not of my liking or my fellow travelers. The food was undercooked, cold and not to standard. Most of new staff (which consist of most the workers) weren't friendly at all. I wish I remembered the names of the ones who made my stay worth being there. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Resort and Great Service

My family and I had to great trip. The resort was clean and the food was great. The staff was attentive and great to deal with. I would go back. I would consider going to the Residence that appeared to have a larger beach/pool.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great resort!

Hotel was awesome, entertainment gets you dancing at any time of the day, the staff: warm hearted people! The people who vacation there; variety of people (families, group of friends, couples). Had a blast!:)
