Las Brisas Huatulco: A Natural Paradise

We have just returned from our 4th stay at Las Brisas and were thrilled with our experience once again. This is not your typical cookie cutter resort in that there is much more to enjoy than the beach and, of course, the weather which is consistently 30 C. in January. The food selection is excellent, whether enjoying the ample variety of the buffet or the a la carte restaurants of which there are 5 to choose from. The staff is very friendly and ready to assist you in any way they can. Rooms are  [... read more]very spacious and are equipped with all the essentials you would expect from toiletries to towels. But what makes this resort special is that you can enjoy snorkeling right off their beach. And if that's not your thing, there are tennis courts, pickelball courts, volleyball or just nature walks, at your disposal. The resort, though in the neighbourhood of 40 years of age, is constantly being updated. New paths and gardens have been created. WIFI is available throughout, even on the beach! The steepness of the grounds might be a turnoff for some who are not used to doing stairs (of which there are plenty). However, the resort is accessable to all by means of motorized carts which connect all essential areas of the grounds. There are many other reasons too numerous to mention which will bring us back to Las Brisas in the future.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Brisa in Huatulco. The Hotel is clean the staff are pleasant and the food is good. There are plenty of activities to get involved in. We had a good holiday and would go back again.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Las Brisas Huatulco, Mexico

This is or second time at Las Brisas and we will most likely go back again. What a beautiful location, gorgeous beaches and a wonderful staff. Food in the main dining room was good, plenty of choices and varied but the food at the 4 "a la carte" restaurants was simply awful. Something has to change there. The rooms were comfortable enough, basic but good enough.

Binniguenda Huatulco: Resort

It’s a very nice place and the people are very pleasant .I do think they could get better gym equipment it is so outdated actually no weights and the machine was broke . They keep the resorts really clean anfood and entertainment was top notch .

Barcelo Huatulco: Fantastic resort for the whole family!

Resort was great overall - Excellent service. - very well maintained, although slightly dated. - great kids program - food was really good - weather is perfect in Jan - would prefer over dreams for those with young kids (we visited dreams for a day) - close to the airport

Las Brisas Huatulco: Very nice destination

Upon arrival after a very long flight and minimal sleep my first impression of the resort was omg where the heck am I this is not what I seen on the website. After checking in and finding out the room I was supposed to get was not the room I received I was not impressed at all. Although nice it was not what I had paid for. The staff was very accommodating and I switched rooms the next day. The food was typical resort food and although not at all fancy it was very good. I cannot say enough abou [... read more]t the staff and how accommodating they were, I felt very at home with them. Once I walked around the resort grounds it became apparent that I had harshly judged prematurly as the grounds were very nice lots of walking which I totally loved and lots of things to keep you entertained for sure. The nightly shows were typical for the resort no different from last year in Ixtapa. Some things were a bit confusing like how much the laundry service was. I was quite surprised when I checked out and my laundry bill was almost 200.00 Canadian for two loads of laundry. The golf course I played on was very nicely laid out but if you’re an avid golfer take lots of cash cause it’s not cheap at all I paid about 225 dollars per round which I though was very pricy. And there is only one course although 2 were advertised on line. I am not a person to complain and hope that this doesn’t dampen the opportunity for a great vacation las brisias is a very nice resort and I would most certainly recommend it to anyone that likes a resort that you like to walk around and is very warm. Personally I would most definitely go back not that I know what I know I would just pack differently and not play so much golf lol. Dreams Huatulco: Great resort!

It's a beautiful resort with great food. We especially enjoyed the room service for breakfast. The first night our room was noisey being close to a bar. Once we let them know that sleep was a priority to us, they moved us to a very quiet end of the resort. The staff was helpful and seemed genuinely wanting to please and not expecting tips but much appreciated. We loved our ocean swims with fairly good snorkeling right from the resort. The beds were compfy with nice linens. However, I [... read more] prefer my bed to be just a little softer, so they made our beds daily with stacked blankets under the fitted sheet which made it much better. The restaurants had great food but my husband had to wear a collard shirt and closed toe shoes at the Italian one. We rarely ate the large buffet and mostly had lunch at the Seaside grill buffet which had a smaller selection but more than plenty to choose from in the open air by the ocean. There wasn't guacamole at the buffet but you could order it freshly made. The cafe had really good coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies and pastries. And I'm the kind of person who likes Stumptown coffee. We love Huatulco for it's consistent nice weather and direct flights from Calgary.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Food was as expected Alcohol was not as I had been lead to believe Room was clean and had a great view Grounds were clean and pretty Lots to do Loved the walking and stairs, great to stay in shape Very regulated with towels in the room and on the beach Very regulated with water in your room

Las Brisas Huatulco: Nice resort

Spacious property. Great views. Staff great. Housecleaning outstanding. Challenges: was under the understanding that resort was gluten free and could accommodate my allergy to tomatoes. By third day frustrated and went to concierge. They said I should have been provided with a envelope upon arrival stating my allergies etc. No such thing was given, they kindly then provided me one which was muchly appreciated. But after that I had to have Mahi mahi fish for four days in a row as the restaur [... read more]ants weren’t able to accommodate the gluten-free and the tomatoes. Finally the last night the Mexican restaurant was outstanding and provided me a beautiful chicken dinner which was second to none and the staff Were fantastic and so understanding. As well under the impression that it had high end alcohol, specifically Grey Goose. No such thing.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Beautiful location!

We enjoyed a week in this resort over the Christmas break. All I can say is that everything was perfect. Weather, location, grounds and service were amazing. If you are looking for a laid back resort than pick this location, we had all our requests fulfilled.

Park Royal Beach Huatulco: Lovely time

Had a great vacation at Park Royal in Huatulco. The hotel was lovely, the food was pretty good, but the staff was the best part. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The only down side was the beach, the beachfront is very steep and the water rough for an older person. The 20-30 year olds were having a blast with it. Regardless, there are two pools you can use to cool down if the beach is not for you. Also, many nice beaches in the area that you can cab to for very little money. Secrets Huatulco: Amazing resort

Views are spectacular. Resort is beautiful. Staff were super nice and very very efficient. Rooms were clean. Didn’t like the way the taps spayed water. Good choice of food. Spa was incredible! Loved it!!!!! 2 weeks next time!

Secrets Huatulco: Excellent staff, good food and amazing views!

My husband and I had a very enjoyable week at Secrets Huatulco during the Christmas holiday. We were happy with everything this resort had to offer. Staff were very friendly throughout the resort; they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We ate at a different restaurant every night and the waiters were all excellent. For lunches, we mostly enjoyed delicious food in Castaways - special thanks to Marco and Antonio! We also visited CoCo Café almost daily where Olivia would make great [... read more] Espressos or Americanos for us – big thanks to Olivia for her exceptional service! What’s also special about this resort is its amazing views. The complex was designed and structured to maximize the ocean views from every angle possible: from restaurants, bars, rooms to hallways and even elevators – very creative and thoughtful!

La Isla Huatulco: Natural beauty

The hotel is simple but nice. It is not huge fancy resort but it is so cozy and convenient. The nature around is breathtaking. Staff is friendly. Food is good, do not forget to ask for Tlayda, local food. As was said the resort is not classical all inclusive but that makes it very special. The beach is just 1 km away, shuttle provided but do not afraid to walk. Also keep in mind that the ocean is powerful there and waves and currents might be strong. We personally loved this. Secrets Huatulco: WE LOVE SECRETS, HUATULCO

Having enjoyed our first stay at this amazing resort back in March of 2016, my husband and I decided to treat our 4 adult children (and their partners) to a Christmas vacation. From the moment we arrived on December 16 we knew we had made the right choice. The wonderful staff greeted us with a cool face towels and cocktails and our check in process was quick (the way I had remembered it). All, but one ("Oceana') of the restaurants served delicious meals and there were plenty of 'gluten and dairy free' options for my daughter. Plenty of poolside and beachside activities, along with tennis, nature walks, etc. provided plenty of things to do for everyone. The Spa is outstanding and I'm sure the experience was one that we will all remember for quite some time. Thank you Secrets for not disappointing us. I'm sure we will be back :)

Secrets Huatulco: Better than expected, nice natural setting

The resort is nicely spread out on steep slopes around a small, quite private bay, with wonderfull views from everywhere. It has very well kept and clean grounds, beach is great, pool long enough so that one can have a good swim. It was a bit too steep going into the ocean, though, but on the far-left side of the bay (no lifeguards there) it was much better. It was really good for watersports, too. The climate is quite dry there, I was amazed how confortable we felt even though the max temp. was around 30 Celsius. The only funny/weird thing was the partially transparent glass doors to toilet and shower ... right from the entrance hallway ...?!?! and a sliding half-wall towards the bed ... we are no perverts ... we had a small incident.... Otherwise, it was a great vacation, we'll be back.

Dreams Huatulco: Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful Resort

The Dreams Huatulco resort was beautiful! Rooms, restaurants, public washrooms and grounds were extremely clean and well cared for. Restaurant and room cleaning staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and aways smiling. The food in both the buffets and al a cart restaurants was a little dissapointing, however typical for a Mexican all inclusive resort. The beach has a steep slope to and from the pools and is some what hard to climb, not great for anyone with mobility issues. The sand on the beach  [... read more]is also very course and not packed for easy walking (a function of nature not the resorts fault) and you can only walk about 1/2 mile until the beach ends, so not a resort for those who like long walks on the beach. We had an enjoyable and relaxing time at the resort, however would not rush back.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Beautiful resort!!!

The rooms have been updated, grounds are well manicured and water in the bays clean and clear. Were able to watch fish swimming around our feet. Food was good and lots of it would go again!!!!! Great value for money spent.

Secrets Huatulco: Incredible

What an amazing resort. You feel pampered from the moment you arrive. The service, rooms & food were beyond my expectations 👍I would highly recommend this resort - you won’t be disappointed. Great location with its own private bay

Camino Real Zaashila: good resort.

Rooms are good. Food is fresh and plenty. Everyone do their best to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Bad part is, hard to communicate with them as most of them do not speak English and a very few speaks a bit of broken English, even the front desk!! Nature's disadvantage is, most of the time red flag is on saying it is not safe to go to sea and it is a major disappointment. But, great pool compensated this disappointment, to some extent, though.
