Rex Papillon: Great Resort

Resort was very clean and comfortable for a 3 star. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Al la Carte (Japanese and Italian) were exceptional. We went to each twice they were so good. Beach is very clean. All beaches are public in St. Lucia but the resort provided enough chairs and umbrellas, always got one. Excellent value trip for what we paid.

Bay Gardens Inn: Great Hotel

Wonderful spot to enjoy all that St. Lucia has to offer. Central to restaurants, beaches, nightlife, shopping, etc. Staff was professional, pleasant and informative. Breakfast was fresh, local and enjoyable. The two sister properties were easy to get to and the beach resort was amazing to spend the day at.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Nice resort

The resort itself is very nice, be prepared to walk up inclines and steps. The entertainment is minimal they shut it down by 11pm and bars by 12pm. The beach party is great but shut down at 11 just when everyone is having fun. The restaurants are good except didn't like The Palms for buffet. The rooms are spacious and very nice. Only 1/3 of the staff was friendly they could work on that. Main pools where nice and clean the infinity pool was nice but too many steps and incline to get to it. Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Great new resort

Was there a month after opening so still some small issues to sort out but: Awesome food at the buffet or the a la carte. The chefs at this resort can cook some really nice food. Property is beautiful, clean and the staff is awesome. Always willing to go the extra mile to please and they love their jobs and it is apparent. Nothing more needed for a great holiday.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Amazing!

Travelled to Sandals Grande St. Lucian for one week with Air Canada Vacations. This was our 4th trip with Sandals. The Grande St. Lucian is fabulous. All of the staff were incredible. The following stood out: Hetra in Gordon's; Erika at the pool bar; Rochelle bar waitress; Delia and Faith in the Italian restaurant and thanks to Jamal for the special spaghetti and meat balls! We would go diving every other day. The PADI dive shop staff are exceptional with special mention and thanks to: Mar [... read more]cus, Pamella, Martin. It is about an 1 1/2 hours from the airport, it went very quickly in the air conditioned van. You will not be disappointed going to Sandals Grande St. Lucian.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Great Resort Experience

This was our first time at this resort and we had a great time. We stayed in the building beside the adult pool/bar, our room was wonderful and the view was spectacular. The food was outstanding and there was a lot of selection. The resort staff were very good and helpful. They worked with my husband who surprised me with a wedding vow renewal ceremony that was wonderful. It was very tasteful and suited us perfectly. Our stay was a delight and we will certainly come back.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Beautiful resort and beach

We loved our stay at Coconut Bay Resort. The beach is beautiful, we walked along for what seems like miles. All rooms are facing the ocean where you can hear the continuous waves, which is so relaxing. The staff is friendly, room is modern, although the bed is hard, we were very well attended to, where the staff was happy to attend to our requests to fill our mini fridge with our favourite drinks. The entertainment was better than other all inclusive hotels we've been to. We did a few rounds through the hotel lazy river. The scenery in St Lucia is just breath taking. It was hard to leave ! Mud baths and the sights of the Pitons were my fav excursions!

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Lovely resort

The restaurants were very,very good, we loved the beach. If you want a more quiet, relaxed holiday there are 2 smaller pools and the beach, the main pool is where the action is if you want it. Also take advantage of visiting the other resorts on the island. It was our first experience at Sandals and we would definitely do it again.

Rex Papillon: Wonderful Vacation!

We originally chose the Rex Papillon for the amazing price we found, but it is a true diamond in the rough. It is a small, older resort, but they have updated quite a few things and they try very hard to please. Everything is very clean, very tidy, if not overly glamorous. Our room was spacious and clean, with a modern updated bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, probably the best sleep I've had at all inclusives! I would have to say the only thing that I found to be a bit odd for a resort was that the pool was closed at 6 every day, when it would have been nice to swim after dinner. Also there is no food available after 930 when the buffet closes. Not the best when you've been drinking and need a snack later at night. However, the most wonderful part of the resort was the staff. From the security guard at the entrance, to the servers in the buffet, to the groundskeepers, every single team member was so open and friendly and welcoming! I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to St Lucia on a relative budget and with adults. There is not much for kids and I would be worried they would be bored! It's right in the middle of all the fun and it is a great value. I would definitely go back there again!

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: St Lucia is amazing; resort needs time

The grounds are beautiful; the food is great. Was impressed with the buffet's variety, freshness and the genuine eagerness of staff to get whatever you desire. Many cooking stations for fresh meats and pastas at night and egg and pancakes in morning. Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Off to a great start..

The Royalton Saint Lucia is a beautiful new resort and we really enjoyed our stay overall. It helped that the resort was fairly quiet and empty with a low occupancy when we visited, so we got to experience it without any crowds or noise. The designers had good taste and the nice furniture and design touches gave the resort an even more luxurious feel. The food was really very good, with all 13 restaurants offering quality food, good variety, and very nicely cooked overall. The buffet/ Marche was the best, offering the best variety and freshness. The pools and grounds were beautiful, the landscaping very lovely, and the beach, although small, was well designed and groomed. The staff were courteous, very friendly, young and helpful. They were overall well trained in hotel arts, but the breakfast buffet lacked attentiveness toward guests, with servers appearing lost and clueless, never bringing fresh napkins or cutlery on time and missing the urgency with which north americans require their coffee in the morning. I was utterly frustrated at the super slow pace of the morning waitresses who could not find me an urn of coffee to save my life. By the time they brought the coffee, breakfast was almost done at my table. This occurred every morning and so was a completely reproducible error, although I openly voiced my pleasant concerns each morning that my need for coffee was unmet. Only one other restaurant, the steakhouse, took too long to serve food, over an hour's wait for simple entrees, and the manager did apologize afterwards. These glitches are expected in a new resort and I am sure that they will improve service over time. Overall, this resort is off to an excellent start as it is a beautiful location, with good food, beautiful pools and helpful staff.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Excellent resort - we will definitely return!!!

A great couple resort. Excellent food, accommodation and staff. Very clean and spacious rooms - loved the suite and ocean view. All water sports are included - we loved water skiing, the banana boat, sailing and paddle boarding. Beach party was exceptional!!! We had a very relaxing week around the pool and beach. Hanging out at the infinity pool watching the sunset was a hi light. If you have bad knees or stroller, request a lower room as there is an incline to the suites on top of the hil [... read more]l. Rex Papillon: great little resort!

We just got back and had a great time...weather was great !! although it rained almost everyday....ride from the airport was almost 2 hrs like it stated in the reviews but your on vacation..take in those amazing views... Food was good, staff were great and room was clean and comfortable! Only issue was the shower...peak times it was hard to take a warm shower. We were on 5th floor which was 3 flights of stairs but our room we had ocean view. Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Caribbean Gem!

Overall this resort is a quaint little gem! The size of the resort, pools, beach and buffets are all on the small side, however, everything was so well done. There was less selection on the buffet, but the food was excellent and tasty. The restaurant foods were delicious! The water was potable which made the fresh salads edible and they were so good. Be sure to bring running shoes if you wish to go to the well-equipped gym facility as they are required. Be sure to take in all the fun activities like the Aqua Aerobics, Calypso Cat excursions (with Captain Dan), and all the free water sports. All the staff were so fun and helpful (Jordan, Gavy to name a few). Easy to obtain information and taxis from the Concierge desk. We would highly recommend the helicopter transfer to and from the airport as the road trip is very long and windy. It is a slightly older crowd and the entertainment at the Sunset Lounge shuts down around 11pm, which was fine by us. Lovely resort -- welcoming island -- met some wonderful new friends and hope to return some day soon!!

Rex Papillon: Resort was wonderful!

Great sea view room and close to the beach. Staff were polite and helpful. Food great!! I enjoyed the beach and the pool. The resort is small and was never too busy. The Pappilon was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Thank you to Helen Callender at tripcentral for a quick and easy booking.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Beautiful Resort

Employees were friendly. Food was delicious, with numerous selections and choices. Waiters/waitresses at restaurants always asked about food allergies. Very impressed. Beach was well kept and seaweed/turtle grass maintained.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Enjoyed our stay

We have been to many resorts in the Caribbean (DR, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica) and I can say we have enjoyed some more than the Coconut Bay and some not as much. We found it to be similar to other 4* resorts that we have been to. I would say the 5* resorts that we went to in Punta Cana are nicer and they are the same or less money. The Coconut resort is literally 5 minutes from the airport which is really nice. We landed at 12:00 p.m. and were sitting having lunch at 12:30 p.m. We found the foo [... read more]d very good especially the Calabash a la carte. We were disappointed with the service in the buffet and it wasn't busy so that wasn't a excuse. The servers were good to clear away your plates but we found it hard to get a second drink and in some cases a first drink. The resort is not that big so it is easy to navigate and although it was as 80% capacity there were no problems getting chairs (no need to get up early and reserve). There are 4 different pools, lazy river and water slides so people really spread out. Very few people were swimming in the ocean because of the seaweed but it is a nice beach and there are some areas that are much nicer to swim than other. The bartenders were great and they have high end alcohol. We enjoyed the entertainment at the lobby bar as it was usually locals playing music. The resort is good for relaxing as there is an adult only area and the other guests were really friendly. We did an island tour with a local taxi and it was a full day of seeing the island. The island is only 29 miles long but it takes over 90 minutes to get to the north through, around and over mountains. We went to the sulfur springs, water fall, volcano, sugar beach and they were all nice to see. St. Lucia is a really nice island and the people are quite friendly. Our room had a king bed and love seat. They are not huge but we didn't spend a lot of time there. All rooms have a view of the ocean. TV is all English so lots to watch if that is your thing. There was no beer in the fridge when we arrived and we called down they said that was because we were on the second floor. Not sure what that had to do with anything but they sent someone up with some beer and the maid was great to leave the fridge well stocked after. Overall we enjoyed our stay but likely would not return because we do like to go to different resorts and we feel you can get far greater value for your money on other islands.

Marigot Beach Club and Dive Resort: marigot beach

Thanks Lynn! We had a lovely vacation. The view from our room was awesome. We were a little dissapointed with our Transat rep Cheryl. She booked trips and dinners for us saying she was giving us a good price and we later found out she overcharged us for everything which upset us because we trusted her advice and she was not honest! She cost us about $30 U.S.more than if we had booked things on our own! Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Good Resort

Hotel is dated. The accommodations are in the range of 3 star. The food service are 5 star. The ocean is too windy to swim at. Pools are great and kids will enjoy water slides and lazy river. Overall good resort Location is not ideal as you can not walk too far off resort.

Very nice hotel, extrely clean. very good and plenty of food, great Cafe. Wonderful staff. Clean country, lots to see and do both at hotel and excursions. Very well organized excursions. Lovely gardens.
