Golden Nugget: Excellent holiday

Wonderful, certainly 5 star in my books. Enjoyed the ambiance and a very pleasant surprise to receive the room upgrade. Even made a bit of money at blackjack and slots. Wish I had more time to play Texas Holden. Will definitely be back. Vivian

Horseshoe Las Vegas: Great location!

This hotel was situated perfectly in the middle of the strip. We can go south to MGM or north Wynn within a good walking distance. In hot Vegas weather, that counts for something. There were plenty of activities on the ground floor, stalls just outside the hotel and a bridge that connects to Bellagio. We tried Sea restaurant which serves Thai food and had their delicious pad thai on the menu. Our room was spacious and any issues we had were resolved reasonably. I would stay here again.

Planet Hollywood Resort: Planet Hollywood

The hotel was clean, easily accessible to shops, and lots of restaurants to choose from. The theatre for the Criss Angel show was awesome. The only downfall was the pool area. There was a family pool and over 21 pool. In the adult are there were only at tops 30 chairs around the pool. The rest were rentals of cabanas. There was another seating area down 12 stairs into the middle where if you were in the pool you could not keep an eye on your belongings. You were surrounded by high buildings [... read more] so exposure to sun wasn't until 11 in the morning. You felt like you were in a bowl. The pool water was extremely cold, therefore not many people in it. I wanted to stay at this hotel, but it would not be a choice again.

Planet Hollywood Resort: Fun Times for All

The locations of the South and North elevators were convenient and easily accessible. The rooms were very bright, clean and welcoming. The casino was fun to play in with a variety of old/new games. The foods at the Spice Market buffet could have been a tad warmer yet it was still very tasty. Planet Hollywood was conveniently located to other hotels and casinos which make it nice to walk around even in the heat!! The only thing I would recommend is the location of the pool is obstructed by oth [... read more]er buildings and the water isn't heated up by the sun also not enough chairs for people to sit (this was the comment from others in the group).

Paris Las Vegas: Hotel just ok

Hotel is getting a bit old, lots of work needed to be done compared to other hotels on the strip. Overall ok. Hotel restaurants are just ok, had a terrible meal at the French restaurant and no compensation given for the poor service and sub standard meal. Cost was over 140.00 for this meal for 2 people.

New York New York: Awesome resort

New york new york hotel and casino is just amazing. The service is good, they are always ready to help and try their very best to meet your needs and make your visit pleasant and unforgettable. The roller coaster is so convenient coz you don't even have to go far, its just located in the hotel,the show cirq the solei is also really good. You can have all kinds of restaurants and bars without even going out of the building.Best of all the hotel is in the middle of everything, close to the south [... read more] and north strip, close to all the major hotels and casinos which make it so easy to hop from one casino to the other. Shopping malls are also close, so are some grocery store and drug stores. The swimming pool in the hotel is also very nice and clean.also you can easily take the shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport. All in all, its an amazing hotel.

Mirage: Ask before you go!

If you are planning pool time be sure to ask about any dance competitions being held during your stay. The hotel was swamped with hundreds of dancers and the pool was jammed pack with very little chance at even getting a chair. We would come back to find half eaten food platters plopped on our towels with ketchup splattered all over from the dancers who parents were not supervising them . Flamingo Las Vegas: Flamingo needs better Security

Pros: Great location, right on the strip, has a pool (not free on the weekend) Cons: WATCH OUT FOR YOUR BELONGINGS. We got there late on Thursday night, safe was locked, but we didn't think it might have been locked on purpose, we assumed maybe it cost extra. The next day in the afternoon we noticed $500 were missing from my bag, which was put away in one of the cabinets. We left the "occupied sign" on the door thinking no one would get in the room. When we left, the cleaner was inside the next [... read more] door so she must have seen us go out and leave the sign on the door. We left our room twice that day and in between that time, someone managed to go inside the room and take a portion of our money thinking we wouldn't notice anything missing. By the time we noticed our money was missing, we had already stayed in the room for 2 hours realxing and getting ready. We reported this to Flamingo's security right away last Friday and we haven't heard back anything yet. Last time we heard something, someone was being interviewed. We would be really disappointed if they get back with some lame excuse. I will continue to write a review on all platforms so that everyone is aware. It's really easy to get carried away as you are there for fun. After this experience, I kept looking over my shoulder and was suspicious of everyone. Btw., we told one of the security guards our safe doesn't open on Friday and his first reaction was that he didn't know what to do in this situation. He didn't even ask if we needed our safe unlocked. It wasn't until Sunday night when we asked another security guard who was kind to have our safe unlocked.

The Cosmopolitan: Stunning Hotel

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Loved the bling factor at Chandalier Bar. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Numerous restaurants and entertainment for everyone’s needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Harrahs: Disappointing

Starting with the positive the beds were clean and comfortable ...pillows too, and the shower temperature was perfect. Location OK. Our room was in the Mardi Gras tower. Tired! Sticky floor! Wet carpet! Sticky table! Musty odour! No glasses! No coffee machine! No soap! Fresh towels ...dubious! Safe locked! Bathroom not clean enough! Connecting to wifi next to impossible so didn't bother. Room service came up after we called but "safe unlocker person" didn't come till next morning and wa [... read more]s 1/2 hour late (we had to stay in our room till he came). For what we paid ...disappointing.

Circus Circus: Former Glory

The rooms and staff were as good as ever. Good value for the money. Not having been to Vegas for several years we were surprised to find that all the immediately surrounding casinos had been torn down and replaced by a massive construction site. The strip was a long walk away. Inside the casino itself seemed rather tired. Keno, my favourite game, was poorly represented and most of the keno machines were not well maintained. Rio Suites: Hidden gem

Easy access in and out without parking fees. Spacious rooms. I’ve stayed here more than anywhere in Las Vegas. Very convenient and quiet. A variety of food selections for everyone. For all ages. I have recommended to friends and families

Encore Las Vegas: Outstanding Casino Hotel, but pricey

Quite outstanding, However it was rather pricey, a coffee and a donut at the little breakfast counter was over $11.00 and don't order the BBQ plate at Zuzuma, it was tough and terrible. Our bill came to over $100.00 with no credit for the lousy BBQ. For food better to walk over to the Peppermill restaurant, just over a block away, beside Roos's , terrific food at reasonable prices $11.00 will buy you a fantastic breakfast with a bottomless coffee. The other disappointment was that they did [... read more] not have a shuttle, too and from the airport.

The Linq Hotel: Great location

My husband and I booked this hotel for the location. It was definitely in a great place because it is right in the middle of the strip. The casino and hotel were nice and we were given an upgrade for $30 a day. We would also highly recommend eating at the Hash House...big portions and so yummy! However, the casino is small, pool is small and doesn’t have the best amenities. I would definitely recommend this place for the location but not the best grounds compared to the other resorts.

Mandalay Bay: Fantastic Resort

Mandalay Bay is a great place to stay when going to Las Vegas. The resort is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. It is about a half hour walk to the strip, so you may pay a little bit of money to take cabs. Just watch because some cab drivers will try to trick you and take you on the highway to go the long way to pay more money. This happened to us going back to the airport, the cab driver took us the long way and it cost us $25 dollars instead of $10. The mixed drinks at the pool are as follows, small $15 medium $23 large $26 a beer is $8.50. They do check all your bags before going into the pool area to make sure you have no booze and have to pay their cost. The restaurants in the hotel are all very good. Shopping is very expensive inside the hotel. Go to the outlet mall to get good prices on anything you would like to bring home.

New York New York: First time in Vegas-great experience!

A surprise trip for my husband's milestone birthday was made possible with the help of Tanya Smith at Trip central. She went out of her way to help me search and arrange the perfect vacation. The New York New York is a fabulous hotel, perfect central location on the strip. Check-in was quick and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, with the MOST comfortable bed and pillows I have ever had. We spent a lot of time walking, so a good night's sleep was a welcom [... read more]e relief at the end of the day. Housekeeping staff was so friendly and kept our room immaculate. The hotel has everything you could possibly want, great casino, numerous restaurants, bars, pool, entertainment in the park-you truly could spend a week and never leave the property. We didn't use the pool as we were so busy exploring but we did check it out and it looked great. Our favorite spots in the hotel were Il Fornaio's Italian restaurant and Tom's Urban grill and bar. If you are a patron of the hotel, Il Fornaio's has 2 for 1 breakfast-each meal reasonably priced under $15. Our favorite was their waffle, smothered in a light cream, fresh strawberries and bananas-to die for! Also their poached eggs on ham and toast was amazing. We ate there each morning and got to know our waitress who was friendly, attentive and a great start to our day. Tom's urban has a lunch special of sliders and loaded fries for $10. The portions were generous, and after the first day, we found we could split an order and be totally satisfied. They also make great margaritas! The hotel offers a $30 credit each day to selected restaurants/bars in the hotel. Tom's was one, so lunch was on the house, sometimes with enough left over for a drink :) .We didn't use the casino much, but a $1 bill netted me $52 within 2 mins, so no complaints there. The hotel also has an amazing roller coaster (which I was too chicken to try) and a huge arcade for kids/adults interested in gaming. Must do's in Vegas--a combination road trip/helicopter ride to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon! Well worth every penny. Best to buy your tickets from an agent on the strip as the hotel concierge is more expensive. Take a day and visit Old Las Vegas-Freemans Street. Very entertaining. . All in all, we were not disappointed, Vegas has something for everyone, the people are friendly everywhere you go, and go out of their way to make your experience one to remember.

Sahara Las Vegas: Great resort for relaxing

Large rooms, great restaurants inside the hotel, casino has craps lessons if you’re willing to learn and very close to gift shops and tours. We got a $50 credit towards food and drinks (it was more than enough to enjoy Umami burger meals). May be a bit far from the action for some people but we really didn’t mind the walk, monorail or taxi/Uber into the middle of the strip. I do recommend getting a pass for the monorail. One of the rooms toilet was making a weird noise but was fixed by one o [... read more]f the staffs after we came back from dinner. Overall great hotel!

New York New York: New York New York, Las Vegas

We love this hotel for it's central location, across the street from MGM - where there is so many excellent shows and restaurants, plus we love to gamble in a smaller casino! The Italian restaurtant in NYNY is really good too!

Horseshoe Las Vegas: Pleasantly surprised

We've always overlooked this hotel thinking it was old and outdated. We booked based on a TripCentral agent's recommendations and were impressed with the room, lots of elevators to get to room quickly, can cut through Paris to save walking through the heat on the strip. You can also access hotel through the bazaar shops. Check in was slow as only one person was working the counter when we arrived so that would be our only complaint. We were upgraded upon arrival. Booked the resort (room) towe [... read more]r where rooms are clean, updated and quiet. Fridge in room is helpful to keep water bottles or alcohol cold. Breakfast buffet at the mexican restaurant in casino was fair price and lots of variety. Also, the food court in the lower level was great for quick dinner (Johnny Rockets, Sabarros, Subway etc.) Pick up for excursions at the side of hotel was convenient and great. Staff friendly and the beds were super comfy. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool while there. Would stay here again for sure and recommend to others.

Circus Circus: Okay with a car

We stayed at the circus circus motel which worked out well as we had a car. Great parking compared to main hotel. A lot of kids at the pool so not great for us. Not a fan or the expensive resort fee No poker room buteasy drive to others
