Brisas Guardalavaca: Great value for the price

Travelled April 2014. Stayed in the hotel not the villas. Rooms were dated and run down but clean. Everything else was fabulous. The beach was beautiful, the food was very good, the staff were gracious. The included activities were great (especially the wind sailing). This is not a high end resort, but for the price, the value is exceptional.

I was in love from first day!with everything!Service amazing!Ground beautiful!View of ocean breathtaking!Sparkling clean!....Rooms need some TLC but clean!The best are people working in this resort!After visiting app.20 resort all over the Cuba I finally find a friends in this one!

Playa Costa Verde: Just Like Coming Home !!

4 Th Time back at my favourite resort ! It is so nice to be welcomed back like you are long lost freinds. The staff always goes that extra mile to ensure your trip is the absule best. The little perks that go along with returning guests are so appreciated. ! Can' t wait to return !!

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Fairly good value for the money!

Rooms were large and adequately furnished. Pools are well kept and decks cleaned daily. I would recommend spending the extra to move to the plus side (which I believe you can pay for locally). Buffet is sometimes too small to accommodate all guests, however Italian restaurant is excellent for lunch and dinner. As is the case in Cuba, carry your own toilet paper as it may be difficult to find. Playa Costa Verde: very good hotel

it is the best 4 star Cuban hotel that i have ever been to. service is good, food is remarkable. The ocean is a bit rocky first couple of feet, though. The pool is great and the bartender Jesus makes the best cocktails. Just ask him to make you something to his taste and let him work his magic.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Truly Spectacular !!!!!!1

The rooms were well cleaned and no issues with anything. We used the room service provided and they were there within minutes. Snorkeling was amazing,and the food was fabulous!!!! We will go again......

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Good hotel

I love this hotel, Good service, nice people, nice beach, good food. I love Cuba , people are friendly , I feel save. I have been several times and no disappointment Hotel is getting older, but I still have preference to go there for my vacations.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Third time visitor

I love everything about this place, food is good, people at resort are pleasant and accommodating.......and the Cuban people are some of the best people I have ever met. Love going into Holguin and feel safe everywhere.

Beaches are beautiful, food was good, room okay, service poor Drinks were different at ever bar and the staff at the 24 hour staff bar was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to service people

I was a little picky with the food but overall an amazing trip! The staff and people me and my friends met were life changing! Loved every second of this trip :) My friends and I are 18 and 19, we enjoyed the nightlife aswell as the daytime activities on the resort and off!! Defiantly would recommend this resort to families and friends that want a get a way!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: All around amazing

We stayed at the paradises d'oro in January during a week of miserable. This was not the hotels fault. Even the weather was not good we had an amazing vacation. We upgrading into the bungalows with outside showers. Worth every penny. Our first stay in Cuba and because of the five star service and all around value for your money we will be returning. Staff are wonderful. Food is fabulous.

Been to the Brisas 10 times - since it opened. We love it! The hotel ocean view rooms are amazing. There is always a beautiful ocean breeze and the view is spectacular. You can keep an eye on the action, even when you are on your balcony at night, as you are always facing the main stage. The villas offer a quieter stay, but are only steps away. The resort is flat and accessible, even for those with some mobility issues.. The resort has lots to offer, and it's all within walking distance. You can [... read more] even walk into town on the ocean sidewalk, to visit the craft market and spend time on the public beach. The rooms are clean. The food is good (it's not 5* - but we always come home with a few extra pounds on our bodies, so it can't be all bad) and there are a variety of a la carte restaurants to choose from. Make sure you book them early in your stay. Suggestions: Bring a cool cup for your drinks.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Good value for the price

Grounds clean,people great,beach great,the only problem with beach it is public. Food depending on day could be good.At dinner time at buffet you have to go early or else they mat run out of certain foods.But overall i have a good time.

Playa Costa Verde: amazing resort

ground was fibulas .dining area and food was excellent, room was clean and housekeeping very good. I recommend anyone to this resort. The resort staff are very friendly. I review this as four and half star resort

Playa Pesquero: would return in a heart beat

nothing about the hotel would i bring up that would be negative , any issues were dealt with in a positive manner.i played a lot tennis . in fact every morning i played , the staff , the tennis pro was excellant . he taught me some tennis pointers .

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: A Resort on the way up

This was the third time we visited this resort. We noticed this time there have been some major changes. The grounds are improving with more care of the landscape. The rooms are improved with a better quality of beds and a lot of painting has taken place. The staff has maintained its friendliness but there are many new faces. The front desk is very helpful and courteous. The beach has been kept clean and the the palm trees are being maintained. Great value for our Canadian dollar.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great Place- returned for the 3rd year

This year we got a great deal to this resort. For what we paid it was a steal. This year we found that the resort had some bad faults. We found that the major swim up bar pool turned green. This was bad because it was closed for 3 days. Missed that pool a lot because that was where they did the water aerobics. The square pool was green and I don't think it was useable at all. The food this year was great because we had all la carte every night. The buffets were very busy because there were only  [... read more]two instead of three that they had last year.that were open. Line ups were long if you wanted to go in early. The bars that served food for lunch this year were great. You could go to anyone at lunch and enjoy a great meal. The beach was great. Very clean. The room service was the best. Had a very nice and helpful, pleasant maid.

This resort is comfortable and a little laid back. If you are looking for a vacation spot to really relax, enjoy excelent service and staff, this is the place to go. If you are looking for high end with lots of decorations, no, not for you. But for good people, smiliing faces, clean rooms, and the best beaches in the world. Stay here.The Sol Rio de Luna y Mares is an older hotel but very well kept by Cuban standards. Food is good, the pool is pristine. It was my first time at this resort. Very clean . Staffs are very friendly and helpful, food is fine . Amazing coffee . Beach is really nice and extra activities are very affordable . Definitely going back.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Love This Resort

This was my third time back at this resort we. Every time we go there my wife and I thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Beautiful beach, beautiful water it is a perfect. The staff there are very courteous and very friendly. There is a good selection of food so we never had a problem finding something we liked. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable. We will be returning to this resort as we love it there, cant beat it for the price. Jim and Donna
