Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: bElla vetars

Had a great stay. Room was clean and nice. Everything you expect from the photos. Grounds, pool and beach area all excellent. Few minor cons, elevators suck some don’t go to ground floor and long waits to get one. Buffet is too big and you have to walk thru 3 rooms to see all options.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Nice place over all

After our stay at alameda I can honestly say it wasn’t that bad our room was clean and beds were ok , the food was pretty good for Cuba anyway and the people that work there were awesome especially one waiter named Jose our only complaint really was the fact that the place is very poorly lit at night no pool lights no fountain lights makes a romantic walk very difficult , and the place shuts down early really early ! But all said we had a nice time and for the right couple I’m sure it would have been perfect .

Playa Caleta: Not so great

Our room was beautiful but the hotel is in dire need of repairs the staff were amazing there were a lot of Russian people they are not so nice very pushy. The food was ok .we meet a few wonderful friends that share our views if they would just upgrade the hotel it would be alot better

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: We will come back!

Good value for the money. Nice room,beautiful beach and food...... we survived. Japanese restaurant was fun and our favorite. We just love Cuba. The beach had plenty of room and loungers so you didn't need to get there too early to get a spot. The 24 hr sports bar was handy for food and drinks.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Ok resort

The resort was ok, staff was very friendly, the layout was kind of confusing, but the food was good. The ala cartes were really good. Although it is starting to show its age it is still a nice place. We did enjoy our stay there.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Amazing resort

Everything about this resort was amazing. I would definitely recommend this resort and go again. The people there were friendly and professional. I felt very welcome and comfortable. I had an amazing and unforgettable experience.

Playa Caleta: Great vacation

As usual we had a great time. Hotel staff are amazing. Room is clean and comfortable. Elevators are hit and miss but who cares. Food is decent. You won’t starve. Oceanview rooms are amazing. We love this place!!

Barcelo Solymar: Awesome resort

Resort was well staffed friendly and courteous couldnt have asked for a nicer vacation for the first one outside of Canada. Great pool beach was amazing. Everyone i talked to said food was going to be bad in cuba but i thought it was excellent and lots of it. Cant wait to do it again.

Club Kawama: Affordable and good resort

The hotel staff was amazing..although the lobby was flooded by rain that couldn't helped. Our room was great but ofcourse the food could use an upgrade. Location fantastic right off strip. Pool was clean

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Fountain of Youth

Spending a week at this resort gives you a whole new outlook on life, you cannot leave without feeling refreshed, relaxed, happy and well fed. The person who manages this resort does it well. Hotel Los Cactus: Quiet and peaceful place

I am absolutely happy, that I've chosen Hotel Los Cactus. It is very quiet there, so you can really recharge your batteries. The territory is very green, full of nice flowers palms and various plants. Food is Ok, cocktails are amazing!

Melia Las Americas: Great Resort

I have been to Cuba a number of times. This is by far the Best Resort I have been to. It is a beautiful resort. The grounds and pools were clean and well kept. The beach is wonderful. For Cuban standards, the food was quite good. And one could always have some grilled meat or fish. I strongly believe that, everybody working in this resort (whether it is the people at the lobby, buffet, maid, or anybody else) made sure that your holiday is perfect. Hotel Los Cactus: We Love Los Cactus!

This was our 7th time to this resort. We tried a couple of others over the last 10 years but have decided that Los Cactus is the best one for us. We love the charm of the building architecture, we love the beach, we love that it is smaller and easy to get around at. Each year we come back to this resort, we see improvements in the food, although we always did find the food to be plentiful. Most of all, we love the people at this resort. Through the years and the changes the staff have had to make, we find them so eager to please and to be helpful, always a smile and a hug when they see us return. The front desk, the bar staff, the animation team, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff, the maintenance people are warm and friendly. We feel like it is our home away from home! Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Excellent resort

Great amenities - reception and bar area, ice cream shop, cigar bar, spa services, friendly staff, amazing beach and absolutely great services! The overall atmosphere was very pleasant, relaxing and offered the right mixture of entertainment.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Great family vacation

Was our 2nd visit to memories varadero and loved it, beautiful resort and friendly staff..the rooms have been renovated sense the last time we visited 3 years ago. We will be back again soon, hopefully next March break again 😁

Muthu Playa Varadero: Good Resort

Positive: service people are good and friendly, entertainment excellent, ground aerie is good, food and restaurant and dining room also are good, beach are in good condition. Negative: air conditioner in the room has only two stages ON or OFF because control panel not working, door to balcony not fixed well and difficult to lock, everywhere people smoking cigarettes even in the balcony

Roc Arenas Doradas: sick

Hi there, we just got back Wednesday,,,We were hereat Roc Areans last year,,,looks like its going down hill from the food wich was terrible ,,,,room wasnt bad,,,we dont care about fancy ,,,all the workers very friendly,,,, beach beautiful,,,,,We went to a specialty restaurannt on the Friday eve (husbands birthday),,,,when we got back around 11:00 from the lounge hubby said he was feeling funny,,,like heartburn and he went to bed,,,3:00 am he started vomiting and the diharhea so bad it was terrib [... read more]le, he was sweating and had a headache,,,i gave him imodium and got tonic water he had the runs for 3 days,,,i also had the runs but not near as sick as him....I asked them for more toilet paper the cleaning lady said later i will bring,,,i said he needs it now,,,so i went to th public washroom and kept pulling the roll so i had enough,,,I went to the Sunwing lady and she called the girl and he brough 2 rolls,,,It was like pulling teeth, Sungwing lady said to go to Dr ,,,even with insurance they want cash..Worst experience ever,,,,wasted our money,,,Its was def something we ate the dr said today,,,we are now on antibitoics...i think a lot of food is left in the open,,,Not sure, but i hope no one else gets this,,,,we ate dry toast and black tea so we could make it on the plan with oout causing more stomache upset,,,sorry but this is our holiday story,,travelled for 20 years it never happened before.

Memories Jibacoa: Home away from home in paradise

Many kudos to all the great people at Memories Jibacoa. A terrific well honed team of professionals led by David the newest and best director general ever. All my needs are met, the beach is like a slice of heaven. Great shows with super music and dance. Wonderful food and drink, always served with a smile. No one deserves as much pampering as I get at this venue. The free Havana overnight with Tropicana was a terrific perk. Paradisus Varadero: All rooms not created equal

We spent 4 nights and 3 days at the hotel and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and the food pretty good. The pills and beach were immaculate. The first room we had was infested with mosquitoes and I would get allergic reactions every time we turned on the AC. After leaving it off for a while, the room wreaked of sewerage. Finally, after two nights of mosquito bites (and the related cortisone shot from bite reactions), we requested a new room. Our cleaner there was amazing and kept the room spotless, which made us realize that the first room was not maintained at all. Sigh! We felt super duped for putting up with the first room. So, in short, nice spot but no quality controls in place. If you are rigorous about self -advocating though, you'll have a fine time.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: LOVED IT!

Everyday was as wonderful as the last.. we felt relaxed each day. The variety of food was more than enough for us....i dont feel i need to "enter at least 200 characters"i dont feel i need to e ter at least 200 characters .
