Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is beautiful with amazing hard working staff. The beach was amazing and the water was so warm! Food was good. Beautiful views from our ocean view room which was 2339. The spa was awesome. This is not a party resort, it was mainly families and couples. Hard to find anything to complain about. I guess the only complaint I can come up with is the steakhouse restaurant was disappointing. Dealing with Trip Central was a very good experience and I will definitely be using them again.

Hotel Mojito: Another wonderful vacation

This is the third time I have been to this resort in the last year, it is a wonderful place to go if you want a laid back, comfortable place with fabulous staff. We stayed in the 23 block this time and these superior rooms were great it was quiet and I really enjoyed the main level so I could enjoy sitting on the patio. The bartenders were great as were the staff in the buffet. A special thanks to the front desk staff, Ana is always so very helpful!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Really great resort

Excellent food, very friendly and attentive staff, nice beach front and lost of poolside activities for those who want it. Restaurants are individually unique with their own style and fabulous presentation of meals. You can not go wrong at this resort.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Excellent Resort

I would recommend the Iberostar Varadero. The service was excellent, the entertainment was great, the pool, the beach were great. The food wasn't that good to begin with but after some feedback on the 3rd day the overall quality of the food did improve.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: beautifull resort....very clean and friendly

this resort was amazing....staff and service was great ...rooms were very nice ....beach was flawless and excursions were reasonably priced....they had a great variety of food selection and the restaurants were excellent....we would definitely go there again...we are already talking about it !!!!!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Trip

Our room was attached to a suite and seemed to be a little smaller than what we expected! Upon arrival, my wife spotted a big cockroach on the door frame between the suite and our room. We reported this to front desk and the lady offered to spray our room. We did not want to stay in a room for a whole week where insecticide was sprayed and declined her offer. Thankfully, we did not see another unwelcome critter after the first day. The view of room was great as we had an ocean view room. The bea [... read more]ch is conveniently located - a couple of minute walk from our room. It troubled us to see a worker spraying insecticide in the resort in the morning and evening without wearing any protective gear. These workers deserve better protection for their health sake. The kitchen staff were very friendly and we made some friends there. Was a Good trip for the price we paid.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: The resort was beautiful

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Saw the ocean from the lobby

Liked this resort because it was on the smaller size. Around 300 rooms in total. You didn't have to walk miles to go from room to eat, or walk to pool or beach. The grounds are lovely and looked after. The staff take great care with their jobs. Had two pools side by side. Nice. Too many kids for my liking. I went to the beach instead. Aboutsely beautiful. Loved it !!! Last but not least. The food was not the best at ALL. How can you eat the same things day after day. A better variety is definitely needed. The fruit was delicious. Can't top. Don't get fruit like that at home. Our room was good. Clean and spacious. Had room on third floor in the Varadero building. Could see the ocean when the palms trees swayed. Building was close to the pool/lobby/buffet. Sometimes when we would enter room you could smell sewer smell. Weird. Also the shower curtain was hanging by clear fishing line. Very strange. If you go take Kleenex and face clothes. Resort doesn't have. Also bug spray. I would go back if the food was improved. You can't eat the same food for a week. Lots of people had upset stomachs at end of trip. Mine included, took almost a week to get better.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great resort/people

Would definitely go back. The staff was excellent, friendly. The hotel layout was easy to manage and everything was close and accessible. The iberostar suites next door offers a bit more luxury but I'm very satisfied value-wise.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Amazing resort. Fantastic service.

Me and my family were in the hotel on October, and I found that place just wonderful. A service is perfect. Employees were very friendly and helpful always. The food and drinks very good. There is no problem at all to make reservation for restaurants Japanese, Gourmet Steak and Mexican all wonderful. The beach one of the most extensive in Cancun was perfectly nice. The hotel has a lots of pools and all of them cleanly. The rooms are good and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Mini bar refilled const [... read more]antly. Definitely recommended.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: AMAZING RESORT

Amazing resort! Over the top service, great food, great rooms! We have been to many many other resorts in the Mayan Riviera area and this by far is the best! The proximity to playa is great - 20 minutes or so and close to lots of activities. There is always a staff member asking if you need something.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Love the Paella on the beach

My second time at this resort and It was impressive- ocean view room. Food was excellent and I loved the seafood and steaks. Beach was not great- had lots of sea weed and turned my white bikini bottom green. Pool was very nice and of course we had friendly Canadians who left us their float and noodle. A very family oriental and older adult resort. Entertainment staff worked really hard and we enjoyed the shows. Service staff was friendly- we have our favorites- Juan, Joel, Bonny, Tony and Zacari [... read more]s. I was not happy with one staff in particular who I had given a token and she called my room explaining that her grandfather was not well and needed money- she called numerous times for four days consecutive which made me very uncomfortable that I do NOT want to go back to this hotel. The receptionist was friendly upon arrival but some wasn't as warm when departing. Overall, a great resort and good food and good service.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Mediocre resort

Would rate as 2-3 star. Room moody and damp, needs updating most a la carte not available , food is okay as are pools. Restaurants needs updating . Service is average at best. Would not recommend this resort.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Great Experience!

Rooms were clean and stocked daily with refreshments and fresh towels, cleaning staff were excellent. We stayed in the 1200 block right by the pool / beach and loved the convenience. Groundskeepers worked very hard at keeping all areas including the beach clean and tidy. Always beach and pool chairs available. Dining options varied and always something new to try. Overall a great experience.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Nice resort

I am not one to complain about little things in life, the resort and stay was well worth the money. Thanks to all the people at the resort that made to week fly by way to fast. Food was good beaches were beautiful.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Just Ok

We are fairly well traveled couple who have enough getaways to all inclusive at different carribean getaways to provide this feedback. Let me start by saying that the staff were friendly and helpful, the ocean view was nice wit some of the most amazing sunrises we have ever experienced. The rooms were decent little tired looking in need of a make over the air conditioning in rooms that was the postive of our stay. The food was average nothing to write home about the alcarts were very poor the buffet average with strong septic oder in dinning area. To me this is a 3 star stay don't kid yourself with the rating. Very little Jamaican vibe going on at this resort had a Spanish feel due to ownership and it's original design. Need to have more cultural vibe to this resort.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Poor maintenance, poor service with some exception

For a 5 star hotel this is terrible. Main restaurant under renovation, along with some buildings, construction is visible in many places throughout the resort. Most water features throughout the resort lack water or the water is shallow and very much polluted, looks terrible. The only water feature that looks OK and runs at times is the water fountain in the main lobby. No warm water for 2.5 days in the room, same problem I see was reported in the past. Room upkeep below par, noticed the area u [... read more]nder coffee table was never swiped which makes me wonder if the floor in the room was cleaned up at all. Towels picked up when the cleanup is done but no towels are left in place, of not all of them, just after another 2-4 hours you get all the towels. No TV signal (or absolute garbage quality .. think transmission of landing on the moon) for 4.5 days in at least one building, although signal was great in main lobby no desire to run a temporary cable and fix the issue quickly. Attitude of staff in restaurant varies from totally ignoring you to hugs and kisses exchanged the moment one shows up in the restaurant, provided previous tips were generously given. Two exceptions, Frank Ernesto and Yurisan, both working in the restaurant, absolutely outstanding attitude and great service. Beach features lots of garbage, especially empty cans and cigarette buts. There is no cleanup of the beach done, none. Lifeguards that are also in charge of renting water kayaks spend all day in beach lounges browsing furiously on the cellphones, barely turning their head around when one inquires about getting the kayaks, or the bicycle boats out for a ride, don't even think about helping you with that. They are however quite fast when a deal with Cuban cigars is to be made. Animation stuff aggressively goes after younger women especially when single. I saw some of these women putting up with an animation guy for long period of times on the beach when it was obvious all they want is some time to relax, read a book, etc. Cuban store has very high prices for cigars, about double from what the Varadero airport stores offers. AC in the room was running but during the day had mostly no impact on the temperature, maybe on the humidity. At least was not noisy. Food was just about the same every single day, the beef meat made on the grill for example takes good jaws to chew and a fair amount of strength when holding the knife and fork to cut it. The only good features in this hotel are the warm water in the ocean and the sunny days. I stayed at 4 star hotels in Cuba and they were much better in all aspects. I do not recommend this resort and I will not return to this resort.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing last minute vacation

We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday at this resort and had an absolutely great stay. Kudos to the entertainment team!! They were aesome. The entire staff was very friendly .. I would definitely go back..! One recommendation to the hotel : more lighting throughout the hotel would be appreciated..

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Super excelente!

We liked the hotel which was very clean and all the other facilities. Food was very good too and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The activities at the pool were enjoyable.The beach was clean and safe even for people who can't swim.

We had a great time !! The staff was amazing such great service, the beach was beautiful they kept it so clean the the entertainment was great !!! The food was soo good even at the buffet. We are planning to go back soon
