Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Pools are amazing

We went for the Royal service, but it’s definitely not necessary. We didn’t receive many of the ‘perks’ that were supposed to be included. The food is awful, but that goes for everywhere in Cuba, as far as we could tell. The pools at this resort are amazing and most of the time very few people were in them. The beds are hard as rocks and the room was decent. The beaches are great and the water is fabulous, even in May.

Melia Las Americas: Amazing Resort

We spent our 52 Wedding Anniversary at this resort, all set up by O’Neal of tripcentral, the Cuba staff at this resort made us feel welcome and at home. Services at this resort are incredible.l would stay here again

Hotel Tuxpan: Hotel tuxpan

I thought it was a 4 star hotel. A 1.5 star at best. The elevators don't work and have been broken for a long time, stairs are steep and hand rails are loose or broken, if you have mobility issues do not book here. The grounds and pool were top notch as was the beach. The hotel staff as with all hotels I have been to are fun, friendly. However I found they would ask tourist way too often to fill their Bubba mugs with beer, at times it seemed like the tourists work as servant's to the staff. No [... read more] al- a-carte restaurants and only one buffet. This us a very basic hotel, I would compare it with hotel Mar Del Sur, only with a beach. Again in need of do many repairs from steep steps loose or broken hand rails, no elevator, loose and broken tiles on all of the hall floors and out dated rooms. Yes, I would go back there if the prices were lower, as i did have a fairly good time. Just know not to expect to much from this hotel. The main good thing at this hotel is the coffee bar, with many different flavours of coffee, bad thing is it only opens late in the afternoon.

Melia Costa Rey: Pullman Cayo Coco subpar resort

The beach was AMAZING! But the service at Pullman was non-existent, they would not have their servers serve any drinks to the guests in the lobby. You'd always have to get up to the bar and get a drink. Many employees would straight up say no if you asked for a certain drink, or say they no longer have it in stock. But when we'd go to the bar ourselves they'd have that drink in stock. So the service was very poor at this resort, we were not able to get beach towels for the first 3 days of our st [... read more]ay. There were a few days when they turned off the water in the entire resort for a few hours, which was very inconvenient when you don't have working toilets in the hotel room. Food was subpar as well, we didn't starve but I've experienced better food at different Cuba resorts. There are better resorts elsewhere within Cuba, I do not recommend this one.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Great beach

Beach is the one bright spot for this resort. Staff were friendly and worked hard. Being a newer resort, it was run down a bit. The food of course was limited as well as the drink choices. Flies and more flies in the buffet.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: Amazing resort with amazing staff!

Valentin Cayo Cruz: Sunwing trip to Valentin hotel Cayo Cruz

We flew with sunwing. The flight to Cuba and the landing there is terrible to the point we were not sure that the plane was in one piece when we landed. Terrible captain The trip by bus to the hotel was good. The stay was great. Fantastic pools, nice beach and an amazing bedroom. The bedroom had a very large bed and even an Nespresso style coffee machine. Great bathroom. The food was more than decent, specially for cuba. Occidental Arenas Blancas: Sub par resort

My partner and I became very ill from the food on our 3rd day at this resort. We remained in our room for one entire day and could not eat anything and had severe diarrhea that continued upon our arrival home. After the 3rd day, the only thing we could eat was pineapple or watermelon, nothing pre-pared for fear of getting sick again. As a former travel agent of almost 20 years and based on my many trips to Cuba I would rate this resort a 2 1⁄2 * star at best.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: 4th time at Royalton Hicacos!

The Royalton is truly home away from home for us. Beautiful grounds on a beautiful beach. Warm friendly staff who want you to enjoy your time with them. Some rooms are updated and modern, some are in need of a refresh but you get that old Havana feeling. Food was pretty good considering the shortages they have to deal with. Go with an open mind, don’t expect perfection and you will love it. We did.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: Good resort

Ground were very nice. Beach was lovely. Accommodations were clean and spacious, with nice decor. Staff were great. Food was good for breakfasts and lunches, a la carte was a huge let down. Seem to have a problem with HOW to cook, all dried out and tasteless.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Amazing family vacation place

Everyone was so friendly at the resort and we will definitely be returning. Restaurants were great, we loved the Japanese restaurant as it was great food and great entertainment. Amenities were clean and well maintained. Beach area is nice. Close distance to the catamaran day trip. Daily activities were really fun with the staff

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Some major sanitary conditions

Let me start by saying the beach was perfect, rooms were very nice, food was as varied as they could make it. Staff are super sweet ,very appreciative and hard working. Danny, I must commend..he took care of our every need. I however have to state that there was no hand soap at any time in the hotel bathrooms which are used frequently by both staff and clients. I checked both the men’s and women’s bathrooms and not a drop of soap could be found. ( nor was there any type of hand gels)Also som [... read more]e days there was no toilet paper. Especially being post Covid this is just not acceptable. Our last two days of 5 we also had no soap refilled to our room and we ran out of toilet paper. I also have to state that the dining room was full of flies everywhere. Lastly because this hotel did not spray for misquitos we were eaten alive especially in their open air lobby. We could not go to any of the evening shows that were held in the lobby so as a result we did not get to enjoy any of that. To say we had over 100 bites would not be a lie. Itchy bites that kept us up at night itching despite all the deet spray I brought and used! They did a smoke spray one evening however that did next to nothing. I imagine they should have been spraying nightly to get rid of the mosquitoes .They also ran out of bottles of water which Alex ,our SunWing rep strongly advised us to use for brushing our teeth not to mention for hydration.When we approached “Ariel” he had no suggestions for us except we spend our time trying to track down our maid to ask for bottles. Our maid btw was excellent and 100% she would have restocked our room with water, toilet paper etc if it was available. It appeared to us we were inconveniencing him by asking about getting bottles of water. Not courteous nor helpful. This is not the staffs fault that there are shortages…however you can no longer classify yourself as a 5 star resort when the very basics for health and safety cannot be provided. My sister and I both returned home very sick. It’s not hard to see how that happened when no one was able to adequately hand wash. I would not recommend this hotel until soap is provided in guest rooms and all lobby bathrooms, until they manage their fly and mosquito problems and are able to supply and replenish clients with bottled water.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Would recommend this resort ..The staff was great,room was very clean,grounds well look after,beach was awesome.We upgraded to adult side and had a awesome time doing so.

This resort is well looked after..Friendly staff and great services never long for anything.. And never went hungry once..Pool was clean and beach was awesome..Grounds well kept..Walking distance to everything and if you didn't want to walk they had carts to pick you up..Beach was amazing..

Sol Cayo Santa Maria: he best birthday ever

the Staff, the food, the rooms every thing was super, This was my 3 rd time and didn't disappoint me. I can't say enough about the staff they are always there to help you no matter what it is and always with a smile.

Melia Marina Varadero: Melia Marina Veradero

Hotel had a nice view of Marina. This Hotel is not on the beach, it is across the street. Our room safe didn't fully lock and 110$ went missing. It was reported to staff, no report was taken. Staff not concerned. Hotel elevator hardly worked, we were on 5th floor, lots of stairs to walk. Food was rice, beans, cooked pumpkin, lots of cabbage. Its Cuba, we don't expect gourmet food. View was nice from our room, hotel room was clean. They prefer American $$ and credit cards, you are billed in [... read more] ||USA funds on your card. |The airport does not accept Cuba currency to purchase anything, so if you have any left over, it's a souvenir.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Amazing resort, staff and pristine beach

Resort spotless, beautiful beaches, gardens, meals, staff( hotel manager makes a big difference and Jorge was always available, good listener and made sure things happened. So aft well trained, polite always and would definitely anything for us.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Beautiful hotel

It was truly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen . The hotel had a great open air lobby with a piano player in the evening, unfortunately could not sit there for long due to the mosquitoes!!! They did not do enough to control that situation. I do understand it was mosquitoes season The food , well it is Cuba ..They ran out of lots of items daily , butter milk cheese “ect” Rooms were very nice and cleaned well. The worst for me unfortunately was they had no hand sanitizer or so [... read more]ap in most of all of the washrooms on the property . Being post Covid this is unacceptable hundreds of people sharing the serving spoons at the buffet. I’m also worried the staff and especially kitchen staff were unable to wash their hands as well ! They also ran out of bottled water the last 2 days we were there . Which created a problem because they did not suggest using tap water in the room to brush your teeth.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: It was ok

The hotel was nothing special. Pool and beach was very nice but that bar weren’t. Barely any drinks to pick from and a lot of them taste the same. The food was 5/10 served the same stuff almost everyday at the buffet but the restaurants that you needed reservations too were pretty decent. The buffet was also covered in cockroaches near the food and they would run across your table. I found that a lot of the staff new barley any English and they weren’t all that friendly. Our new room was better but we couldn’t leave any sort of snacks out, plates or drinks because the ants kept getting to them.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort

This was my second visit to this hotel in the past month the resort is one of my favourite places I’ve been in Cuba being there 30 plus times and by far had the best time the grounds are kept beautifully staff are amazing food was good la carts are beautiful I have nothing to say bad about this resort cannot wait to return in April
