Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beware-Under construction

As of this moment this 5 star resort rates no more than 3.5 stars at most. Staff for the most part are great and food was decent. Beach isnt the best but isnt the worst either. The main complaint from me is the construction. It was a huge inconvenience for the amount of money we spent on this vacation. We requested a king size bed,high floor, oceanview or pool view and instead we got a mid floor, two seperate beds and construction view which was brutal. Every morning at 7:45 am we were woke by a [... read more] jack hammer. Also there were other very loud noises almost like explosions that shook our room. One day we went without hot water all morning and the next day we went without cold water all morning. The telephones didnt work so no way to order room service except through the app that continously crashed. We had asked from the room to be decorated and request was totally ignored despite asking several different employees. They frequently ran out of the "luxury"amentities such as premium liquor and butler services such as scent and pillow selection. If you end up getting an a la carte at a decent hour and its not on the luxury side, thry do not offer cocktails. I wont be returning to this resort at least until contruction is over. It wasnt worth the price and the couple we travelled with had previously stayed at this resort and said it really took a nose dive.

They need washrooms near main buffet Not that great of a beach, should have umbrellas or palappas for shade if needed Resort was very clean Service was excellent Entertainment was good but a little to loud sometimes

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: BEWARE OF FLYING POOL SIDE UMBRELLAS!!!!

The grounds were new and impeccably manicured. The room we stayed in was lovely. Our view from the second floor included a pool and ocean view! The food was superb and the customer service was beyond expectations.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: hotel staff seems to be very unfriendly

my room was good we went with a wedding group of a 120 people and half the people had problems with their rooms leak or lights were not working. fridge was not working. even the bride and groom had to move.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Fantastic Resort

This is a small resort, but perfect..Grounds. & rooms.spotless, always cleaning Staff by far the best, each & everyone of them..Food was fantastic.. Only 1 downfall was the beach, not good at all for walking or swimming..

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great Resort

We had a wonderful time at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. We were on a family vacation which included our brother's wedding. The resort was very clean, staff were friendly and very attentive and there were lots of options for activities that we didn't even want to leave the resort. The group we were with included a total of 14 children - all under the age of 13 - they had the time of their lives. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Friendliest place ever

The service was beyond excellent,the staff were amazing,the food was mmmmmmmm great,the room service amazing ,the waitstaff were so friendly they remembered your names they were sincere in asking about our trip they made you feel at home

Couples Tower Isle: Wonderful Vacation

What can I say, the food, the service, the atmosphere..... everything was exceptional. We didn't want to leave. It was a little far from the airport but, if you get a drink for the ride it's not so bad. We also liked the proximity to Dunn's River and the fact that it was included in the price. We will definitely be returning.

Catalonia Montego Bay: wonderful resort have been there 3 times

liked everything, a great family resort, we brought 11 family members and they were very happy with the resort, clean, good food, great service, close to airport , and many fun activities. will be back for a 4th time

Nice resort.... checkin was a nightmare...no room keys.until next day.food very good..service at pool bar by villa 24..Lizzy very sweet girl and great service she remember everyones drinks..overall nice resort..needs more staff at checkin..

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: fabulous vacation

Everything about this resort is amazing with one exception. I booked with tripcentral.ca and Air Canada vacations and was meant to have an early check-in, the resort used excuse after excuse for the room not being ready and I was not the only one that had this treatment, very disappointing start to the vacation.

Sunset Beach Resort and Spa: Relaxing hotel

His is my third time at this hotel. They recently changed management and the rooms are more modern and look great. The food is still excellent. The 24 hour cafe is a great idea, but needs more selection of foods. The paint jobs have spruced up the hotel overall. However, the entertainment and poolside activities are now very boring and/or lacking. Also, the service is not as great as it used to be...longer to clean tables, or get water refills if you are even offered. Also, there was an incoming [... read more] phone charge to our room of $40US that took over an hour for them to finally realize we did not owe. I'm happy the outcome was correct, but took way longer than needed to get to that conclusion. We previously returned to the hotel because the service and sated were exceptional, along with the great food and entertainment. I'm not saying we definitely won't return, but we will be looking for other options on our next family vacation.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Absolutely fabulous!

The Grand Palladium, Jamaica was absolutely beautiful. All staff provided excellent customer service, from the reception staff to the restaurant personnel. This resort in Montego Bay exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait to go back. From seasoned travellers, this was a wonderful 5-star experience!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Beautiful resort, amazing staff!

Absolutely loved this resort. True 5 star. Food, staff, room, pool, beach! Loved it all. We went snorkelling in front of the resort everyday. We did the dolphin cove and Dunn's river falls excursion. Norman was our tour guide and Scott easier driver. They were awesome!!! We also did a catamaran ride to a reef for some snorkelling with a stop at Margerittaville on the way back. Such a seeetheart! Alwayne made my omelette every morning and he never disappointed. Such great service. If u want pasta at the buffet ask Randel to put some thing delicious together for you. He is a pasta genius! Lil' Suzie was so lovely every time We went to get our towels. The list goes on and on. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They're amazing! You will be treated like gold! We will be back!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great looks, terrific food, but not much else

This resort is well kept and maintained. However there is no beach to speak of and the little access there is is a real turn off due to some intense sewer gas smell coming from the sea. Entertainment at night not great at all.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Fantastic All-Inclusive Experience!

I loved the staff and their continued enthusiasm. They are very hard workers, but also know how to enjoy themselves which I think made my experience more relaxing and fun as a guest. Also the food was amazing!! I love sea food and there was not shortage at every dining experience. and it was great to try some more authentic Jamaican food. It was all delicious!

Couples Tower Isle: paradise on earth

everything was perfect. The food was great, the staff were simply amazing, The non tipping policy on this resort is nice because you don't have to carry any money with you. The entertainment was also unbelievable. Tried for the last three weeks to find something I could complaint about.....still searching. Grand Palladium Jamaica: amazing resort

Service, restaurants, grounds, pool, beach areas ( a few_) all was amazing. Would go back in a heart beat! Lots to see an do....bellboys service impeccable. Food was delicious with many options. Entertainment team works hard to represent the various themes they showcase. In turn they will join the crowd at the evening open bar an live music bands. A lot of relaxing fun. Day tours are amazing.

Couples Sans Souci: Fantastic Resort - We were welcomed home

Renovated beach front rooms are perfect. Lot's of closet space and big roomy drawers and convenient hooks on the walls. Perfect balcony view. Would not recommend ground floor. Mini bar stocked every day with wish list fulfilled. Well suited to vacationers not looking for big nightly entertainment shows. Butler service daily at the beach. The friendliest staff we have ever met. A few vendors in one location that do not approach you but have some lovely crafts for sale.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: A must go-to

Everyone is amazing and friendly, rooms are tidy with a awesome view, food is spectacular, drinks are refreshing, beaches are wonderful. Only minutes away from Montego Bay airport. Go to the luminous lagoon!
