Grand Memories Varadero: Barcelo areans blancas varadaro

Great stay,friendliest staff ever,beach was amazing, food was average better at the solymar side though. Rooms could use some updating ie.new tubs and faucets crome worn off and pitted. Great pools but need regular cleaning seemed to be lacking in that area,the outside of the building could use a coat of paint to freshen it's tired look. Riu Bambu: Whole family sick!!!

We stayed at the Riu Bambu March 21 to the 28. The resort was ok. Staff were somewhat friendly. I'm not sure if something was going around the resort but most everyone in our group got sick at some point throughout the week. My daughter was vomiting for 2 days. My husband had diarrhea the entire time. And my self and my oldest daughter have had diarrhea for the last couple of days of the trip and still back in Canada. I will never go back to this resort again. They need to do some upgrades at th [... read more]is location. It seemed the other Riu hotels were nicer.

Riu Ocho Rios: Perfect vacation

we loved this resort. It looked big when we got there but everything was well located and easy to access. The staff and food was great! We needed this break and were able to relax and have fun. We love to snorkel and were able to do this every day right at the beach.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing and very clean Resort!

This resort is very clean with beautiful grounds, a stunning beach and very nice, helpful staff. Cannot say enough about Jamaicans, they are super people!! Entertainment team here is GREAT! They work hard day and night. Food is tasty, jerk chicken hut is amazing! Just love Jamaica and the RIU.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing Resort

Hotel is big but very well designed... staffs are SUPERBE... the only thing missing that we would have liked would be coffee maker in room, small bottled water when we go on excursion and the restaurant A La Carte should not have buffet style... apart from these little things...We would go back anytime at Riu Ocho Rios...and I already send the info to friends so they can consider going there... Riu Palace Paradise Island: Okay Property

The resort was more like a hotel than a resort in that the grounds themselves are quite small. It also seemed like everything shut down quite early. The food was good, although we were unable to try a specialty restaurant which was disappointing. Front desk staff were rude.

Grand Memories Varadero: Great vacation

We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed ourselves greatly. The resort is lovely especially the pools. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is very pleasant .The beach is beautiful.the food is fine but can never compare to what we have in Canada. The flight was quick and the cab to and from airport was easy and good valve.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Beautiful Resort

The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was very nice, the food was surprisingly pretty good, the grounds were very clean, beach was nice. Although we did not mind that there are many levels to the overall resort but could see that it could be an issue for people needing assistance. The gym was alright, could use some tlc.

Grand Memories Varadero: Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Memories Varadero. The staff were friendly, the pools were great and we were never hungry. The beach was nice (but it was always windy). We had a wonderful housekeeper that took care of all of our needs.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: awesome place

This resort has really well kept grounds and public areas. the food was good with a big selection. the rooms were always cleaned. you had a terrific view of the cruise ship terminal .we were there feb 28/16 to mar 06/16 and in that time frame 5 cruise ships docked there. amazing

Riu Playacar: Awesome resort!!

This was our 4th time to this resort. The newly renovated resort is very modern, with nice bright colors. The resort is small, making everything very handy. not too far to get to any location. The food is great with a lot of variety, the service is excellent. All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Looking forward to going again next year.

Riu Palace Aruba: AMAZING RESORT, CLEAN, GREAT FOOD

HOTEL WAS CLEAN, ROOMS WERE BIG AND FOOD AND DRINKS WERE GREAT. BEACH AND POOL WERE SPECTACULAR. MY FAMILY AND I PLAN ON RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE WEATHER IS PERFECT, AND THE PEOPLE OF ARUBA ARE NICE. FELT VERY SAFE. ONE HAPPY ISLAND. PLUS THE BEST DRINKING WATER

Grand Memories Varadero: Great family spot!

The pool was lovely and right outside our door. Loved the long walks on the beach and incredibly friendly staff - all family members were able to do 'their own thing' - from early morning walks on the beach, to family meals together, to pool time and snorkelling

Grand Memories Varadero: Was too crowded

The hotel was fine. The food was good. The staff was excellent! The grounds were well kept. The beach was fantastic as always. Only one day that we couldn't swim because of jelly fish brought in by a storm. My concern was that there were too many people and not enough staff to manage them.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Perfect Family Trip

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and traveled during March, 2016. This hotel was perfect for us. We had 2 rooms together with an ocean view which worked very well for our stay. The grounds are immaculate and service was fantastic. The purpose of our trip was primarily to escape, relax and unwind. This was a gorgeous spot to accomplish this. Our older son took in the festivities at the Riu Santa Fe next door but we enjoyed the quiet relaxed atmosphere of the Palace. Buffet food was better th [... read more]an an average resort. Location was very good for water activities and taking the water taxi to the arc.

Riu Flamingos: Much more than we expected!

Hotel was emaculate,updated, well cared for. Staff was always smiling, helpful and spoke great English! Never thought Mexico would be so nice. Grounds were beautiful and everything was super clean including our rooms. Loved it!

Riu Playa Blanca: awesome resort

The resort was beautiful, clean and just the right size. The staff were so nice espically Edurado in the sports bar his customer service is amazing. Pools were great , rooms very clean, checking was very fast, no beach too much under tow very disappointing in that not the fault of the resort.

Riu Playa Blanca: Wonderful experience

Fantastic time for the family. We enjoyed everything from the delicious food selections, to the staff, to the entertainment etc. The staff was especially great, always so quick to be sure that everyone's needs were attended to right away. The weather was nice and hot. The beach was also great. We spent lots of time swimming in both the ocean and the resort pools. Wonderful experience all around.

Riu Santa Fe: Friendly staff

Very well maintained grounds. Clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Fantastic food with excellent choices. Only downside was, bathrooms are pretty far from the pool. I would return to this resort.

Riu Santa Fe: Extremely friendly staff!

I found the staff was extreme!y friendly and helpful. The maid was very attentive and also inventive with all her towel critters she left on our beds to greet us every day. The entertainment staff were also above and beyond in their helpfulness especially Juan. The resort was well maintained and things were fairly easy to find. It was a very relaxing vacation for myself and my spouse, mind you, if you wanted night life, it was available too. So basically there was something for everyone.
