Riu Republica: Lovely resort

\nice resort, and gardens well kept. Please feed the cat.(orange brown, very friendly) Enjoyed my stay in the resort. The shows catered to the young people,. There was 2 nights when the music catered the older generation which was very nice. Like the pool area and of course the beach. Consider to go back for my next holiday (hopefully in March Hasta la vista. -Coffee is poor quality. please improve.Thank you

Riu Republica: Fantastic Resort!

I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts, especially in the Dominican Republic and this was amazing! One of my favourite things about this adults only resort was diversity and age ranges from people in their 20s to 70s. They really cater to every age group and everyone has a great time. The beach is gorgeous and great for body surfing/boogie boarding. They have quieter pools if you just want to relax, nap or unwind and they have other pools for more activities and fun. Even though this is a l [... read more]arge resort, everything was very centrally located and never a far walk from any of the restaurants and bars everywhere! Most nights they had live music at the theater right before the show and the entertainment crew did a great job of getting people involved and having fun in the daily and nightly activities. The buffet always had great food! A La Carte restaurants were good too, but I found it a hit or miss mostly. Rooms are kept very clean, great water pressure and hot water in the showers! Disco was small, but always packed. Music could have been better; but overall a great atmosphere. All of the bartenders and servers had unbelievably great attitude and service. Never had to wait for a drink! Definitely a 5-Star Resort and would come back!

Occidental Caribe: Compact

Loved this resort. Layout is my fav, easy to get around. Gorgeous beach...but a lil too wavy to swim sometimes. Loved Pizza place and Tokio. We were premium level and the beds were awesome. We didn't catch any shows or go to the disco. Just stayed in lobby mostly lol.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Ideal Weather

Travelled as a senior couple and enjoyed our stay however this resort is more suited to families! Pluses:-our room appeared recently renovated. Everything worked and was kept spotless by the hard working maid. -grounds and pool were well maintained and always clean -food - no complaints at either the buffet or a-la-cartes. Negatives:-check in/out area and counter very small and understaffed. Took way too long. -our room in block 22 a long, long way from the beach. The shuttles were occa [... read more]sionally full or broken down. -the beach appeared to have suffered significant erosion and was very small and crowded where the lounge chairs were for the Grand Memories guests. Nothing to do with the resort, but the flight home with Sunwing was a bit of a nightmare after experiencing a 4 hour delay in departure. Stayed Nov.25 - Dec.3, 2019 Would recommend for families with children.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great Week!!

Just returned from a great week at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, has great food and drinks! The resort is a great size, not too small or too big. Great beach but only certain spots are swimmable. All of the restaurants are great, except for "Le Gourmet", was let down by the food and service. The Seafood, Rodeo, Buffet and Tempinyaki all exceeded expectations though. All of the shows were fantastic as well and all of the organized entertainment/sports on the beach. Th [... read more]e foam party was so much fun! But should be moved a little earlier in the day, 4pm is a little late in the day. 2 or 3 would have been better in my opinion. Overall great week and would recommend! :)

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Extremely enjoyable resort!

From arriving to leaving the resort was a pure enjoyment! The ground were kept quite nice and the surroundings were very lush! The food and the service was great in all the restaurants... we particularly enjoyed the Brazilian and Tex Mex restaurants! There was one very small sore spots about one concierge being a little aggressive about coming to to timeshare meeting and getting a free gift. Especially like the rain shower head in the bathroom. The waterpark was great along with the beach as well. Beach was kept well groomed and it was nice to see added security at the end of the resort on the beach. Felt very safe. The hidden gem was the coffee / ice cream bar on the resort which was open from 9am -11pm. This was a great treat for us and the kids. Was treated with great drinks at all the bars and smiles on all the staffs faces! One in particular Ana at our breakfast buffet always went over and above! Miss you already! Will be returning to this resort for sure in the future.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Amazing Resort !!!

Enjoyed every aspect of the resort and my time spent there !! Would definitely recommend and go again !!!The staff was courteous and friendly. The shows and entertainment were first class . Can’t wait to return !!

Everything was always kept clean, the staff was my favourite part they were so friendly and fun. The attention to detail really made the resort look the best. The beach was stunning! There was always activities to keep you busy if you want and they were so fun

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing time

We went as a group of 9 to celebrate Christmas, this was an amazing resort to celebrate family. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms spacious and clean. The drinks were excellent and the staff was amazing. We had a fabulous time and would not hesitate to return.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Our fourth time there

If your looking for an adult only resort in Punta Cana, this is the one. This December 2019 was our fourth time to this resort. It was great four years ago and has improved even more every year since. The food is great. The drink are the best and the workers are exceptional. We have gotten to know many of them by name and they recognize us each year as we return. The beach is perfect as well as the pool area. Never had a problem getting a chair on the beach or by the pool. Lots of shade if y [... read more]ou want it. The new sports bar if the best we have seen at any resort. The only complaint I have is I like to play volleyball but their beach court is poorly set up. Hopefully by the next time we go, that will have been improved.

Secrets Cap Cana: Amazing resort

My husband and I returned to Secrets Cap Cana for the second time and found the resort just as beautiful as the first time. The resort is decorated elegantly with friendly and warm staff. The beaches were calm and soothing and the food and entertainment was really good. It’s paradise.

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Pros and Cons

There are many pros to this resort that are well worth mentioning. First, the staff are professional, friendly and very willing to ensure you are enjoying your stay. Second it the Dorado restaurant which had wonderful food and service.Lastly the hotel grounds are wonderful and well maintained.The cons is the hideaway pool is far too small for the number of people and is often too noisy for a adult only resort. Vik Hotel Cayena Beach: A hidden gem

My wife and I recently returned to the VIK Cayena Beach Hotel for the second time, after staying at the sister property next door three years ago, and believe that this may well be the only Caribbean destination we ever go to in the future. We have both traveled extensively, and rate the Cayena as our absolute favorite for several reasons. If you are looking for a big, sprawling property with lots of action, this IS NOT the place for you. If you are like my wife and I, and prefer small, quiet [... read more] and intimate then the Cayena is much more your speed. Our recent stay at the Cayena was partially to celebrate our tenth anniversary, which the hotel acknowledged by a complimentary bottle of champagne and placing us in what we consider to be the best room in the house. To us, this typified why we like the Cayena so much. All the rooms have stunning views of Bavaro Beach, and the hotel is located on a small, private stretch that provides a breathtaking vista that is incomparable. The amenities on the property are all very close to each other, including the breakfast and lunch restaurant, which only serves the 47 rooms of the Cayena. The food and staff are wonderful. It's not five star, but is certainly 4+, and the personal touches by all of the staff, management included, give the hotel a personal feel that make the vacation as special as it was. The VIK Arena Blanca, which is next door, and is accessible for Cayena guests (but not vice versa) allowed us the choice of a la carte and buffet restaurants for dinner, as well as other amenities, including a gym, spa, and shopping. Having stayed at both properties, we can honestly say that they are both wonderful, but we have a strong preference for the size and intimacy of the Cayena. We will be returning in six months, and can't make the calendar move fast enough.

Punta Cana Princess: Beautiful resort!

Beautiful grounds. Amazing beach. Great food with lots of variety. Friendly staff. Faculties well maintained. New furniture in lobby and beach restaurant. Would highly recommend the Punta Cana Princess!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Melia Caribe Punta Cana

Our first time to this resort. Service was fantastic, the grounds were immaculate and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good and the beach was stunning as well as the main pool. We had the Level upgrade which was well worth the little extra cost.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing resort

This Hotel is definitely a 5 *, the grounds are well kept. The staff are friendly and always willing to go over and beyond to accommodate you. We stayed at the Colonial Adult only side so you are assigned a Butler, who again was outstanding and made sure your stay was enjoyable. The beach is white sand and crystal clear blue water. I highly recommend this resort.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Fantastic Holiday

We were at TRS Cap Cana from Dec 2/19 - Dec 9/19 and had a fabulous time. It is a small resort that allows you meet people if you choose or have as much privacy as you like. I think the staff there have been very carefully chosen and they all try to make each guest feel like the most important visitor there. The food was very good at all of the restaurants and the waitstaff all speak English and are very patient trying to help you with your limited Spanish. Excellence El Carmen: Fantastic resort!!!!!

This was the best vacation and all due to this outstanding resort! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always smiling!!! Room and private pool were amazing and the food and drink were superior. I have already recommended Excelkence El Carmen to friends and coworkers. One word to sum it up ‘Excellente!’

Ocean Blue and Sand: AMAZING!

I cannot say enough about Ocean Blue! The resort is fabulous, the beach is amazing (except for the 'whales' (that's what I call them, lol) that stop the waves, some of them are way to close to the beach. The food was amazing, the staff are amazing, the grounds are amazing, and I mean SPOTLESS! (I did not see one cigarette butt ANYWHERE) Mike's Cafe was the best! I would 100% come back to this resort.

Riu Palace Macao: Great vacation spot

My husband and I really enjoyed the resort and its offerings. Very clean rooms and surroundings. We particularly enjoy the buffet since it offered a variety of foods. Although they had several restaurants that you could go without reservations, we preferred the food at the buffet. Beaches are very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. We also have very fond memories of Yoanna, at the front desk. She was so helpful and welcoming, actually they were all so nice and welcoming. They only [... read more] drawback I would have is that this hotel would need renovations since it's dated and they would need to keep up with all the newer hotels in that region. All in all it was a great vacation.
