Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Surprisingly disappointed

The overall hotel wasn't bad, there were a lot of grounds crew keeping the resort clean the duration of the stay. But, the positives quickly start to disappear after that. Service wasn't good, in fact it was close to the worst overall service I've had, unless you were holding money in your hand. You shouldn't have to pay $5 every time for good service. Most of our group also stayed on the ground floor which was infested with mosquitoes causing most people to have to change rooms. Beaches were alright, swim to bar was the highlight. Shout out to Gerrick the swim-to bartender, only good service all week. NOT A 5 STAR!!! Not even close.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: 9.5/10!

The hotel was very spacious, staff were generally friendly for the most part, food was delicious, and overall cleanliness/security was beyond my expectations! Felt safe, has an amazing time and will come back and bring family back too.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Vacation with my teenagers...

Hotel was clearly a 5-Star. Staff and common area was luxury. Air Canada representative (Aldo) was very approachable. Tripcentral agent (Jack) was helpful. Air Canada Rouge was also a quality experience. Appreciated not having to pay the entry/exit tax.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent resort

This resort was amazing! Friendly staff, excellent service, clean, only small distance to the beach. A la carte dinners are of great variety and were amazing. If I had to pick something to improve I may say night time entertainment could spruce up a bit but it is an adult only resort so quiet may be favoured by some.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Highly recommend this resort

This resort was all around exceptionally maintained and the service was fantastic. Easily the best experience we have had at an all inclusive, including other Luxury Bahia’s. The resort itself is massive, yet never feels overwhelming. The pools and beaches/lagoons were always clean and there was always space available, even though It was filled to capacity when we were there. The buffets are quite impressive, even serving lobster tails one of the days we were there. You will not leave hungry. Tons of options for everyone tastes. We went to two a la carte restaurants, the Brazilian and the Italian. Highly recommend the Brazilian where they bring food around on swords. May want to pass on the Italian... The rooms are a bit dated however they are clean and well kept so if a fancy room isn’t a requirement, then this resort is definitely the best bang for your buck.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing resort 👍

This resort, waiters are good attitude, clean, beautiful rooms, beautiful garden and foods are yummy 👍👍. Unfortunately, the water of the beach is not really clear, in addition, everything has five-star level.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Gran Bahia Coba. Great resort !

This past trip was our twenty second visit to the Coba. The staff are always friendly and helpfull. As for the resort in general it is beautifully kept, the gardens, the pool areas, the resturants and buffett's are great and you have the option to eat and visit in some of the other hotels in the resort. The front lobbies in all of the hotels are built in the Mayan style with huge palapa roofs, well worth the time to sit back in a chair and admire the workmanship it took to build them. The junior suites are large and comfortable and are cleaned and restocked each day to a very high standard.The Coba is not on the beach front, if you want beach front then try the Tulum or the Akumal, all great hotels. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Our Favourite Resort!

This was our second visit to Sian Ka'an, from late October till early November 2017 and I think we enjoyed it even more than the first time one year earlier. The resort setting has a jungle feel to it and is gorgeous. Our junior suite was spacious and very modern and the beds were firm but comfortable. Our second floor balcony wasn't very deep, giving an almost crowded feel. But that didn't stop us from enjoying it every afternoon before getting ready for dinner. There is a good selection and unlike many resorts we've been to most of the cooked items were at least warm if not hot. We visited the Japanese a la carte at Sian Ka'an and three other a la cartes at the three other Bahia Principe properties. All were very good. Service was good at all the restaurants and bars and the staff are very friendly. Being able to take advantage of the facilities of all four properties is a definite bonus. The beach, shared by the four resorts, must be at least a couple of kilometres long, with golden sand and several protected stretches suitable for children. Sian Ka'an has its own exclusive section (adults only, of course) with ample chaises under palapas and its own beach bar which rarely had a lineup unlike some of the other bars along the beach. It is hard to come up with many negatives. The drive from the airport was quite long (about 90 minutes) but was certainly worth it. The return to Cancun aboard a smaller minibus was much quicker, about 65 minutes. It was a great ten days and I am sure we will return to Sian Ka'an!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Subpar.

The resort itself is very nice. It’s large, nice aesthetic, good kids areas, beautiful beach and for the most part, clean. The staff were mostly friendly, and there were a lot of maintenance workers always working. The food was okay, usually it was cold. We didn’t find out until towards the end of our trip that one of the restaurants was actually open for breakfast and it was much better than the buffet, but still nothing special. I was on a higher floor but I was travelling with a group th [... read more]at had lower level rooms that were infested with bugs and mosquitoes. I know of two of our group that were sharing a room but arrived to only one bed, and it took them 3 days to get them a room with two beds. They don’t give face towels, you have to order them apparently. My MIL waited 4 days for new bath towels after numerous calls begging for some. They apparently were always out of beach towels even at 9am. Some of us went on an excursion and they provided transportation there but made them all pay to come back. We had misplaced some personal ID paperwork and didn’t realize it until we were leaving and waiting for the bus to take us to the airport, so my husband went to the front desk asking if anyone turned them in and apparently they had been waiting there the whole time. It had our names and the resort and dates we were staying so why they didn’t call us and let us know, who knows. Nobody ever got any of their a la cartes because they were all ‘booked up’. Overall our own personal experience was OKAY, but our group had nothing but nightmares.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville Hotel

The hotel ground and public areas are well kept. The pool, as well as the beach area are beautifully maintained by workers constantly cleaning the swimming pool ground; and, they are there raking the debris off the beach sand every morning. Our room is very nice, just as it is shown in the ad. No problem with the maid making their daily round of cleaning and stocking up the fridge. The buffet food quantity are ample, with good variety to please. This hotel is a real gem.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

Grand Bahia is a beautiful resort. The ground are immaculate, the rooms are very nice and the food was excellent. The staff were a great help when we needed the doctor and also with calling back to Canada to our insurance company. The beach was our favourite. Yes there was seaweed but they were raking constantly. Only issue we had was when we went down early to get 2 chairs we marked them with 2 old tee shirts. When we went back a hour later they were gone.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Loved the resort!

Everything was great the food, the people , cleanleness of the rooms, large selection from the buffet and also the restaurants. Highly recommend but keep in mind extremely large resort lots of walking.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Love it :)

First time in Dominican Republic, I could chose any resort and I always do my research, hearing that the Grand Bahia Principe was an excellent resort to be... it was true! Great choice for first timers, lots to see and lots to do! We’re going back next summer! See you soon! Thank you for the hospitality :)

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: GORGEOUS RESORT !

First time at Ambar Green ( 2nd Ambar building in the back), beautiful , clean, very well taken care of, fantastic swimming pools ( 3 of them). The food was delicious, every night a different theme, Halloween was so much fun, everybody was dressed up, really got into it ! Will be going back next year !!! Staff was extremely nice and friendly!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: beautiful resort.

grounds were well kept and beach was kept clean by staff. negatives about over all stay. 1. no T.V. for first 3 days. 2. trip to hotel took 1 hour and 40 mins. 3. rained 4 days total, but not your fault. 4. my husband slipped and fell 3 times on slippery floor (could not tell difference on wet or shiny floor. 5. sharp 1/2 inch step in bathroom husband cut toe on it, very dangerous step if you did not see it.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Resort

I have to say this resort is amazing! The food was wonderful, the accommodations spotless, and all of the staff were very friendly and genuine. Being away from the beach was not a disadvantage. The trains were almost always waiting and it was fun to see other areas. The food was absolutely delicious. We only had time to try 6 restaurants, but they were all great. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent Experience

This resort was beautiful, with exceptional customer service. No matter where we were on this resort or its sister resorts we felt warm and welcomed. We stayed in the penthouse and it was everything we needed with a large room, mini bar, coffee machine, full windows that open to the outside and a veranda overlooking the jungle. I would go back in a heartbeat. The weather ending October into November was excellent; 25-30 degrees everyday for our full 7 day stint. It rained about 3 times for all o [... read more]f 10 minutes. The best thing about this resort is the staff. We loved all of the attention. The pools were large and clean, entertainment was exceptional and food diversified and delicious. We had a wonderful vacation

This is a big resort, but for its size it was well kept and clean. The food and drinks were plenty full. our trip was reasonably priced and it met all our expectations and more. We would go back for sure.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing

This resort gets better each time! The staff went above and beyond our expectations. The rooms are well appointed. The food was exceptional, we went to multiple a la cartes and each was very good. They were out raking every day, all day to keep the beach clean of the seaweed debris. We definitely would return for our 4th time!
