Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Experience

We had an amazing vacation. The beaches are to die for and really that was the main reason we chose Cayo Coco. The resort is good in general, but there can be some improvements with the food. It was our first time in Cuba and we have heard that food in Cuba is not good. I wouldn't say that, since we alsways found something good to eat, however it could definitevely be better compared for instance to other Resorts in other Caribean islands we've been. Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Perfect getaway

Everything about the Iberostar Paraiso Maya is fantastic. Great, large and fresh clean rooms, incredible food, amazing beaches and stunning pools, but the best is the attentive and dedicated staff. What a vacation!!! Seven of us (4 adults, 3 kids of age ranging from 11 to 16 yrs old) went and we were all delighted. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Cuba experience

Good in average, nice beach and experience. I like Iberostar Hotels and Laguna Azul was interresting in despite of the food. Goock bar and cocktails at the floor but less good in the pool. Thanks for sunwing group

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great vacation at Iberostar Beach

We spent 2 weeks from Aug 25th-Sept 8th, 2015 in Iberostar Beach at Rose Hall. Our group consisted of 2 adults and 2 kids, 11 years old. The resort is in great condition and the staff is excellent, from the front desk, waiters to the chefs. The beach portion on this hotel is actually nicer than in the other 2 adjacent (and more expensive) Iberostar hotels. You might want to consider another place if you have difficulty climbing stairs. Our room was on the 4th floor and even though there are elev [... read more]ators, we choose the stairs most of the time because the elevators sometimes took a long time to arrive. The food is varied, fresh and delicious. We visited the steakhouse 3 times and the rib eye steak is superb! The entertainment is great and we quite different from the one offered on other hotels. They even have a magic show equally good for kids and adults. We will definitely consider this hotel again if we decide to stay in Jamaica again.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Very nice resort.

I don't like the hotel rooms because of the humid smells coming from the walls that get on the pillows and beds.But aside from that everything else in the resort was bietiful especially lunch beside the beach.

Wow! Great great place to stay if you ever think of going on vacation to Cuba it's an awesome fun exciting place to be if your going with family, friends, or that special someone ;) . Food is good, the workers always do there best looking to make you feel at home and it's just a beautiful hotel!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing Resort

The best resort we have been to in the Caribbean. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing with great selection. Entertainment was excellent. Loved the layout of the resort, everything was a very short distance away.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Big disappointment

My husband and I, together with another couple of friends, booked this hotel for 10 days, from Aug 28 to Sept 7. The hotel was highly recommended by another couple of friends, who vacationed there several times. The hotel complex is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, and the beach is divine. The grounds are nicely maintained, the pools pristine clean…We enjoyed very much entertainment at the reception bar, the piano young lady is a true virtuoso. We had lots of fun at t [... read more]he Japanese restaurant. However, there are many not satisfactory things, for which we will not come back to this hotel in the future: 1. We arrived at the hotel around 3 pm, and had to wait for almost two hours to check-in. It seemed that they were overbooked, the stuff was confused…. Finally, a very nice lady at the reception (Marinela – Mara) took us over, apologized for the delay and checked us in. 2. The rooms, the sheets and the towels have a very bad smell – stale, and musty. Both we and our friends experienced this, in both sets of rooms. The sheets were clean, no doubt, but the smell from them was awful. When we complained, we were told that they had problems with the laundry provider… but it seems that has been a case for a while….it felt like they did not use any detergent, or the worst kind of the detergent. The same was with towels…. they looked worn out, with that awful lingering odor, like 15 years old at least. At first, we were given only bath sheets, no hand/face towels… we had to complain to get a second set of smaller towels for face. Then, in 10 days, the towels were never replaced. 3. The restaurant was another story…. in the first few days, when the hotel was fully booked, there were no plates available, we had to wait for them for 10 minutes. When some of the guests left, the situation with the plates was better. However, many times, the plates were dirty. Then, lots of flies, all over the buffet… disgusting….the food was not comparable to a five star hotel… three stars the most, and I am being very generous…. no salt and pepper shakers on the tables ever…. tables not ready for the guests, we had to chase the staff constantly to set a table for four of us….there was prosciutto only one evening when they gave us questionnaire sheets to rate the hotel and its service… needless to say, it was very insulting, it felt like bribery… the restaurant at the beach was the same story… 20 minutes wait for chicken at the BBQ… 4. Public washrooms…. no toilet seats and no toilet paper very often! Why? 5. Finally… the staff…. if you did not tipped them off, you will wait for them to show for 10-15 minutes…. the bar at the reception: no ashtrays at all… this is a hotel where people are allowed to smoke, and I cannot understand why there are no ashtrays on every table.

Hotel was amazing.. Grounds perfect.. Food amazing.. Out standing Hotel..the one thing I liked about this Hotel.. No Food by the pool.. Nice and clean.. There's always staff walking around making sure your ok.. If you need drinks.. Amazing..

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Nothing Major to Complant

Overall it's a nice hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet enough as long as the door and window are closed. The buffet has great variety of choice and the a la carte restaurants are even better. If there's one thing to complaint, it's their English skill, most of the staff can only speak Spanish and for those who can speak English also has limited words. IT WAS NOT MY FIRST TIME AT THIS RESORT AND IS STILL AN IMPRESSIVE HOLIDAY SPOT IN CUBA. I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH A LITTLE WITH THE SERVICE THIS TIME, AND ALSO THE SEE VIEW I PAID FOR WAS NOT SEA VIEW AND THAT WAS BECAUSE THE HOTEL WAS FULL; REGARDLESS I DID NOT LIKE THAT... BUT OVERALL IT IS A GREAT PLACE; WILL I RETURN? YES, BUT WILL NOT BOOK SEA VIEW TO AVOID BEEN DISAPPOINTED, I WILL TRY TO UPGRADE UPON ARRIVAL.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Second Time Around

Second time at this resort. Great location and amenities but a bit disappointed at the buffet food this time around. Relaxed and fun time for the whole family! We are already planing for the next trip, will try the Lindo in the beginning of next year.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Best beaches in Cuba!

This was our second time at this resort. The resort itself is very large, lots of walking. The resort is starting to show some wear an tear. The food was not as good as as when we went last March, repetitive. The restaurants were much better than the buffet. The beach staff and front desk staff were amazing, thank you Jaima and Beatriz! The beaches are amazing!!! One of the reasons we went back!!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful resort

We went to Rose Hall Beach resort for our honeymoon and it was excellent. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and very eager to help. We were upgraded to a king suite. The ground very clean, beach beautiful. One little flaw, always the same food everyday. They should have a little more variety but it was very good. I would return again.

All the staff did a great job! The service was amaizing at the restaurants, pools, reception, lobby, entrance, bars, rooms . All the staff were very friendly. All the facilities are in good conditions, but the theater is too hot. There is no air conditioner or fans. This place is not healthy for people to be there 1 - 2 hours.

We had a great time, the resort was beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. They food at the buffet was good, they had a lot of variety so we didn't have to eat the same things over and over. We only made it to one of our a la carte bookings, the Steak House. I had the salmon and my boyfriend had the steak we were both very happy with our meals and the service. The resort & bar staff were very friendly, you got the same pleasant service whether you tipped or not. The pool and beach were ni [... read more]ce, there was a bit seaweed in the ocean but nothing to keep you from going in. They kept the beach clean and seaweed issue was maintained daily. Only negative would be about the night entertainment , it was bit lack luster we've seen better at other resorts. However the Dominican and Ibero -Stars shows were the best by far. We really enjoyed those. Oh Yes! our room was really nice, cleaned daily and no towel issues or bugs. I swear the bed was on of the most comfortable we've slept on out of all the resorts we've stayed at. All and all it was a great vacation.

We were really happy with this resort. Great for families with small children. It is not too big or overwhelming for our 2 year old. Any requests we had were all addressed right away by friendly staff.

Like the country but the hotel is poor,the main dining room was the worse, no plates, dirty table, no cutlery, I almost pass out because of the heat in the dining room. The service from the front lin staff was poor they never have the answer to any questions, just to get a towel was a problem L.. oh an the towels always smell like pie.
