Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: 3rd time returning and still amazing

This is our third time returning to the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. Food, service, and the size of the resort are a few of many reasons why we love this resort for our family of 4 (kids are 4 and 1). We found the service at this resort to be even better this time around, and the food was great as always, especially at the French restaurant. Never had any issues with our room (we were upgraded to oceanfront, which was a nice surprise) but we did notice that we had no hot water for a very short  [... read more]period of time one day - a non issue. Overall, I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Not recommended

Iberostar Laguna Azul is far from a 4 1/2 star Resort. The food is horrible I survived on flat bread cheese pizza and French fries for a week. No room service, went to grab a bit of food for my son to take back to the room for him and asked for plastic cutlery , waited 10 mins or so and spotted the waitress elsewhere, so there was my answer I grabbed cutlery from the buffet and proceeded out and got stopped like I was a theif and they took the cutlery and expected to have us eat like animals . I [... read more] went after her and demanded to speak with a manager , I waited 10 mins and was told I had permission to take the cutlery as long as I brought it back. The wifi is horrific you need to go to the front foyer where u purchase a wifi card and the allowable time is from 9-2 that's it, no service elsewhere at anytime. I was not at all satisfied with this Resort , would not recommend it or any other one in Cuba, stay away from there, The immigration officer I had when I arrived was horrific, I didn't realize I had to fill out the Spanish side of the Visa so I grabbed my pen to fix it and he yelled and said no go to the end of the line , I went to the side and he banged on the Window , I couldn't believe how I was being treated like a hardened criminal.

Hotel Mojito: Very relaxing with attentive staff :)

Large resort with lovely, long beach when the tide is out. Plenty of food that was fine. Bartenders, servers, grounds staff, front desk staff and housekeeping were all wonderful. Our 2nd time here! The adult pool is very quiet as well as a good size. We are a couple who were looking for a quiet, sunny getaway before we came home to move into a new house and renovate and our goal was met!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Disappointing resort

First of all, we got there late in the evening, the smell of the lobby as you enter the resort smelled like old furniture and liquor. There was no bellboy to direct us to our room. We had to figure it out ourselves. The room looked out dated with broken lamp shades and old furniture And the smell as we entered our room was another story. Our ocean view room had very little view of the ocean. Room was cleaned everyday, thank god! Service was 3 stars, you had waiters and waitresses who were genuine and others that did not care. I definitely will not return to this resort

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Totally amazing resort

Food was great rooms are nice and clean staff are perfect beach was really nice best trip ever we will be going again had so much fun the local people are very nice you do not feel like you need to tip every time you get a drink great place to have fun or just relaxe

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing can't described my experience !

I had an amazing experience at the iberostar rose hall. The staff is supreme in all aspects and the facility is gorgeous and well maintained. The food was really good and they had a wide variety considering I am vegan and I had plenty to eat. The pool and beach area was full of activities on a daily basis and the rooms are really nice ! This hotel is definitely my first choice

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Resort

We meet "Super Sexy" Nancy and Adrian, they were fantastic entertainment reps by the pool and beach. We have a wonderful time at this resort, staff was friendly. The food in the main buffet was okay, needed to be a bit more variety.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Not worth it

The resort is way over rated. The food is disgusting, the service is poor, the bed sheets and linen stink, some staff are ignorant and not courteous at all especially at the pool bar and the restaurant, they have an attitude that they are the best, the locals and tour guides are always milking the Canadians for tips they don't deserve, the hotel is cutting back on supplies and repairs and starting to show signs of aging. 1. Beach is perfect !!! 2. Our room was very good, clean, a/c worked well, showers worked... 3. Buffet is good. Good variety of food.We did not use other restaurants. 4. Entertainment was very good: On the beach and evening ones. 5. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Thank you all!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Wonderful experience.

Food, employees, grounds, and hospitality were all top notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. We played tennis each day, kayaked, and watched the employees in their soccer league in the evening. Find out when they play and go and watch a match. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

This holiday was a wonderful experience, from the greeting when we arrived at the resort to the room overlooking the garden grounds to the meals served. All employees were happy and looked after us. Completely happy!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Good family vacation

Overall a good vacation for the affordable price. Friendly and pleasant staff, clean accommodations and the beach is by far the reason to go to this resort. Food was quite good if you try their local dishes, hot dogs and hamburgers are quite different from what we are used to in North America. The on site restaurants were great but book early as there are not very many reservation spots. The shows were good for evening entertainment. They had a great kids area for the younger kids but needed more activities for older kids.

Over all had a great time.there was a shortage of beach towels. We didnt get a single one all week. Mexican restaurant was by far the best food all week. Was not impressed with a lot of the service, never happy or appreciative of tips or friendly towards everyone. The bar closed at 1 am which is ridiculous. Bartenders were pouring themselves beers but told us it was closed. Snack bars also closed early. Except for old hamburgers that were left out all day. Iberostar Selection Varadero: outstanding

amazing resort, great beach, outstanding service. great entertainment for both kids and adults. great water park. vast water pools for both adults and kids. I loved the fact they have separate pools for both families and adults only. a paradise for sure. amazing beach great sand. wow! that is a breath taking beach clean and the service amazing both at the beach area and the resort.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing Getaway Home for a Week

The open concept of the hotel made for a nice cool breeze throughout the day and night. The place was always clean and the staff were very nice and friendly. The view was simply breathtaking. For sure a do-over vacation!!! at this resort!!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Very nice resort.

The beds were very hard, we couldent get a clean beach towel, and the room service bought us burnt toast with our sandwich. The hotel is very beautiful and well set out, the buffay is very nice, the alacat restaurants were very busy, we couldent get all to try out.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Resort with awesome beach

The hotel is nice with great service, the mini bar in room is replenished everyday which is very good. There is also a kids playground and a kids pool that our kids enjoyed a lot. There is also a nice and sandy beach where you can do snorkelling it's bear the rocks in Ensenachos beach area.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: We had a wonderful time overall!

Booked this trip of 3 to this resort unknowing of what to expect but with relatively cheaper price we had to go for it. The trip went very well as I have been to Iberostar resort in the Caribbean I wasn't disappointed in spite of it's relatively smaller size. The food, the friendly staff, the well kept clear grounds, a nice well-looked after Gmy, and the clean specious rooms makes it a great resort.to stay at. The only 2 things th [... read more]at dented what would have been almost a perfect vacation were check-in which took for ever as the rooms were not ready until 4:30 when we arrived at the resort at 1:45pm and the normal check-in is 3pm. They kept promising that the rooms would be ready in 20 minutes until we gave up. And the wifi prices are a total reap off, $25 for 5 days is unacceptable in this age. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience and we would think twice to return sometime in the future.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Very nice resort!

We have been in 3 resorts in Cuba and this one is our favorite so far. Rooms were nice and clean. Territory itself very green, beautiful landscaping, we made great pictures. But territory is very big, you will have to walk depending on where you room is, didnot bother us though. Food was surprisingly good, we used to Cuban food, not always to our taste, but here it was pretty good, especially their smoked salmon, yum. And anoyher pool for kids with slides was great (good for younger kids up to the age of 8 I would say). Beach is amazing and they have 2. First one more family with activities and games and small buffet if you do not want to leave for lunch, which Is very good. Second ine is very quite with just a small bar, but is has this like wall of rocks with colorful fishes and crabs living there perfect for snorkeling. Visit second beach at list one time. Kids club was very good and what is even better they have it at night too. they have one room by the pool for day and room close to buffet and night show for evening. You can leave your child there and have some time for yourself in the evening too. I think it is opened from 6 to 10 pm. Of course, it had small issues here and there, needs some renovations and upgrades, but overall I liked it very much and we are considering returning there again.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Run down- horrible!

Been to cuba many times, stayed at this resort twice before and really liked it . Was just there two weeks ago, it was so bad that we were moved to another resort. The rooms were horrible, the food was by far the worst we had in Cuba .
