Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Exceptional Resort

The Luxury Bahia was an exceptional resort with a few minor hiccups that didn't really bother us too much. The good....the rooms, the view if you were lucky enough like us to get the ocean side, the buffets were excellent, service was excellent, the bad...for Jamaica I found it hard to get a great cup of coffee and the majority of a la cartes were average but would we return...yes.....The ocean view rooms offer a breath taking view that is hard to beat!

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing and very clean Resort!

This resort is very clean with beautiful grounds, a stunning beach and very nice, helpful staff. Cannot say enough about Jamaicans, they are super people!! Entertainment team here is GREAT! They work hard day and night. Food is tasty, jerk chicken hut is amazing! Just love Jamaica and the RIU.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing Resort

Hotel is big but very well designed... staffs are SUPERBE... the only thing missing that we would have liked would be coffee maker in room, small bottled water when we go on excursion and the restaurant A La Carte should not have buffet style... apart from these little things...We would go back anytime at Riu Ocho Rios...and I already send the info to friends so they can consider going there... Grand Palladium Jamaica: Memorable Trip

The best resort my husband and I have been on in the 13 years we've been taking annual trips to the Caribbean Islands. The staff were incredibly helpful and always greeting us with a smile. Our room # 1527 was ocean view (to our pleasant surprise) and kept very clean and welcomed with a tropical fruit platter. The decor was beautiful with White columns in the adult pools and activities in the kiddie pools where the served hot dogs and ice cream everyday. The food was good, we usually prefer to eat our meals at the buffets because of the variety and this was exceptionable. The only ala la carte we ate at was Italian which was good, but they had many to choose from. We also went to the entertainment on Sunset Cove one evening where we thoroughly enjoyed a bonfire it was my first ever experience. I will definitely return to this resort. I loved everything about it.

Sandals Dunn's River: Jewel Dunn River -- good time, great staff

Had an excellent week in early March at Jewel Dunn River. Beautiful grounds, good food and friendly people. The basic rooms are a bit "tired" actually one of the least comfortable we have stayed in for a 5 star resort. Also evening entertainment mediocre. Regardless, had an enjoyable time.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing Time , Great Staff and layout!!

This is an overall GREAT place to go for Great food and a relaxing time! Its a pure couples resort , smaller , easy to get around, and one of the best mannered staffs we ever had for a 4 star hotel. It's a TURE 4 to 4+ Resort with CONS: 1) FOOD, 2) RESORT SMALL BUT VERY CLEAN, 3)GREAT STAFF, ALWAY FUN GAMES GOING ON IF YOU WANT 4) ALWAYS FEEL SAFE 5) LOTS OF BARS & RESTAURANTS FOR A SMALL 200 ROOM HOTEL ... , the only real down is a smaller beach area, but its still enough to kick back and relax [... read more] and enjoy. Always chairs available at this resort everywhere. We loved this placed very much, great bang for your buck, we will definitely return in the future. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Really good but not perfect

It's big. Absolutely amazing food, unlimited! Free room service had is own menu which had a good selection and quality of food. (I wasn't impressed that when I ordered for a specific time that they brought it 40 minutes early!) Unfortunately we didn't know about room service menu until 5th day cause they forgot to leave a menu in our room. Really great pool. Lots of bars and wine/rum. We don't drink so I can't say anything to that. All inclusive really does include everything except their spa se [... read more]rvices, lobster in restaurants, and wine/beer/rum. (Obviously gift shops and excursions aren't included either!) They will try to get you to buy a membership for a wack load of money and paint it up to be extremely good deal. Trust me, the deal isn't nearly as good as it sounds! By listening to their sales pitch for 90 minutes we got a $300 spa services voucher. I would say that was extremely over rated price. What we got for $300 USD spa was an 80 minute massage. I wouldn't pay $50 for it. I figured I got about $30 worth of value for it. Ocean view room is worth $20 extra but we got it since we're honeymooners. Jacuzzi was extremely leaky by the drain which I fixed myself in a few minutes. You definitely don't want ground floor if you have an option. Unless you're the type that loves talking to the staff that walk by and don't mind people walking right past you when you sit there in your little patio. We took Mystic Mountain adventure through the resort ($334 USD for 2). I'm of the firm belief if i would have walked out of the resort and hired my own private taxi I could have done all that at my own pace for at least $100 USD less. I found out later. There is TV in the room. No dvd players or computers. Lots of programs going every day and evening that we didn't do cause we're on honeymoon and wanted more quiet and alone time.

Sandals Royal Plantation: Best trip ever!

Sandals Royal Plantation is an amazing resort for couple who simply want to relax and be pampered. The staff is amazing. There isn't anything I can say negative about any of them! They were truly amazing at what they do. From the Management to the Cleaners. They were fantastic. In my view, Christina and Daniel are their most important ambassadors of this resort.

El Greco: Would Stay Again

This resort is not a fancy resort, but it is extremely clean and the grounds are well kept. We really enjoyed our stay. Annick checked us in and she was very helpful, as were Sebastien and Michael. We would stay here again.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Very well maintained and excellent staff!

Every aspect of this resort is well cared for by pleasant employees who truly seem pleased to serve guests. I enjoyed the informative Nature Walk on the wide variety of plants on the grounds. Red flag days meant we couldn't do the many resort inclusive water activities during our stay which was disappointing but not the fault of the resort. The Spa facilities open 24 hour/day. But Yoga and Pilate classes were just too early in the morning for me. Pools are very shallow at 4 ft. And the shallow O [... read more]cean swimming areas require protective water slippers. Lots of chaise lounges on the 2 private cove beaches.

hotel clean, people very help full, beach could use some work on the grade of the sand on the beach a little to much slop for the beach chairs . some of our party of 10 had problems with water from air conditioner in the rooms our didn't leak till last day leaving

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful resort !!!!

The resort was in good shape some renovations being done around the rooms were very clean and grounds were spotless and well groomed the food was really good with great selection of food in the main dining area as well as the 7 restaurants throughout the resort.The staff was really nice and helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate you the bars throughout were great with live entertainment. CONS: 1. we did have trouble getting our mini bar in our room stocked with water,soft drinks a [... read more]nd beer but did get it sorted out. 2.Our shower head in the bathroom came apart enabling us to take a shower properly after three calls to maintenance and 2 days it was finally repaired. I would diffidently go back for another stay for sure. :)

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Best resort so far

Fabulous resort. Been to Dominican Cuba and Mexico. Loved Jamacia the most so far. Great food. Friendly helpful people. Pools were excellent Big but easy to get a shuttle/trolley Very clean. Sunset cove had the best beach area.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Fantastic resort with absolutely the best service!

Our family of 4 were floored by the beauty, cleanliness, fantastic service and great suites at the IRHSuites!! Our suite was spotless and the the cleaning staff were fantastic and polite! The food at every turn was so delicious! We are in 2 of the specialty restaurants which were very good. Our 2 daughters (14&12) loved eating in the buffets though as there was a bountiful selection that was mind boggling! The service st every bar and restaurant or in the music bar was fantastic!!! One night all [... read more] I ate was fish and seafood...beautifully prepared mahi mahi/tuna/lobster tails/fresh shrimp/tuna and sushi. They had tenderloin steak that perfectly prepared (at both steak rest and buffet..we all like it Med rare). We drank our sparkling wines from glass stems, drinks in glass tumblers etc...no soft plastic anywhere! If we were outside, the drinks were served in hard plastic. the pool was clean and warm as was the beautiful blue sea that the infinity pool overlooked. We spent a day at a diff hotel for the night as it allegedly had the best Waterpark..,NOT. It's drinks were all premade, food was only ok and little selection. Our drinks were made from scratch and were soooo yummy. 24 hour room service food was delicious as well! Our girls LOVED the spaghetti. Their pizza was fantastic. I CANNOT say enough good things about this resort. It was totally ALL INCLUSIVE. We will for sure go back to this resort. Our suite was so spacious and crisp. Large shower with huge tub. We ended every night in the music bar chatting about our day and having a sambucca. They even put an odd number of coffee beans in the drink! DEFINITELY take in the orientation for no other reason than to hear repeatedly to put on suntan lotion!!! DO NOT FORGET your suntan lotion like we did as it is $27 US in the shop. That was painful. You need a hat, uv protection water shirt and lots of suntan lotion. We took our own Costco purchased goggles and snorkel though you can get them there to use. Don't forget water shoes as their are some little urchins out in the snorkling area. our girls did the 2 seater parasailing and they loved it! We all did the TWO dolphin swim (ultimate) and it was worth it. What we did not really enjoy much was the Dunn Rivet climb as our guide dropped us at the check in and we ended up waiting 45 min for a large group of SLOW folks. You don't just go with your own family and have to hold hands in a long row the entire way up... No fun. I would pass on that and just do the Dolphins. Pants for men req at certain restaurants. We had one nice lightweight outfit each. Sun dresses for woman at night = perfect. Take lots of US $1s as you WANT to tip the waiters in buffet and bars as their service is insanely good, not because your drinks aren't good etc... We left 2-3$ each rest/buffet and a1$ every drink...or every other. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL service, doors opened for you, hot delicious coffee and milk etc...I can't say enough about this place. We took a cab from the airport to resort for $35 and well worth it as you don't have to wait for everyone to get their luggage and act together to get on complimentary bus. TOTALLY WORTH IT! It was worth it on way back too as bus ended up waiting 45 min before leaving and they were suppose to leave earlier than we did with taxi. The nice thing doing it that was is that you are either there before or after bus and don't have a long line st check in that you wait for. I signed up for reggae tour the night before we left so they had my reservation and a great price. 70$ round trip for us all and only us. One taxi tried to get $150 for a 1 way... Online chat:( Go with Reggae. It's only ~ 20 min from airport to resort. After you have your luggage, just go over to Reggae Tours desk and the swiftly move you out the door and into their clean taxi. Have your bathing suit and lotion packed within easy reach as if you arrive early, you can change and go to pool while luggage waits with bellman. They will give you your pool towel cards. Also, we payed 25$ pp for the Club Mobay at the airport on return home...perfect as we did not have to stand in line for customs...they take you ahead of the line and check you through. Then you go to their air conditioned, drinks, small meals and snacks as well as wifi all complimentary while you wait to depart. TVs too. Fantastic holiday for us! Our Trip Crntral Saskia Sing was a HUGE help to me and shared tons of info. She is a go to us for future vacations!

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Excellent resort .Fantastic staff

Food and service excellent. Beautiful resort. Beach is not nice but resort makes up for it. Very comfortable beds. French restaurant is amazing. Urban and Calipzo restaurant also very good. Pizza at Italian restaurant very good.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing resort best ever all inclusive adults only

Great hotel, excellent service and dining, free excursions, manicured grounds, lots of water and sports activities, unlimited a la cartes, all the staff treats you like royality and spa facilities-WILL GO BACK FOR SURE

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Fabulous Resort

Our family of five (including 12 year old child) loved this resort! Everything was fantastic. Delicious food, clean rooms, mini fridge stocked daily, rooms cleaned daily...great entertainment including water aerobics, dance lessons, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, scuba & snorkeling. Beach was great and lovely pools.

Smaller resort & loved the layout. Everything was close & easy access. Food was the best ever, lots of variety & always fresh wherever we chose to eat. Japanese restaurant was awesome & everyone should try iit. Rooms were clean & well maintained during our stay, never had to ask for anything. Customer service was excellent throughout the resort, staff always asking if you were happy with the facilities, activities or whatever you were doing. Another positive for me was the short drive from the airport, maybe 1/2 hour & check in was quick & efficent. Would not hesitate to recommend it or go back!

the beach is very nice long enough for a fifteen minute walk end to end.The food at the buffet was always fresh with variety every meal. Iberostar obviously choose their employees with the clientele in mind , from management to service and entertainment we feel treated special.
