Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful hotel

It’s very good place to go to vacation. There were some little issues, but almost others are ok. Food, people, entertainments are very good. There were some issues found in housekeeping and ala kart reservations. Basically air conditioning is not enough in the room( forget the day time, for night too) Some bar attendant were not treated properly. Airport transfers, co ordinations were good.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Over The Top!!

At first, after reading the reviews I was very hesitant on booking the Luxury Bahia Principe. I must say this was an amazing decision. The rooms, food, pool and amenities were all amazing. If you are debating between the grand and luxury, luxury is definitely the way to go. We had some people staying with us on the grand side and there is quite a difference when it comes to rooms, drinks, service, etc. The beach at the grand side is nicer about a five minute walk but the luxury side is so privat [... read more]e and you're able to relax. Being in my mid 20's I thought it might be boring but there were many other couples my age and their was enough entertainment. Will be returning!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Vacation

The staff is always willing to help make your stay the best possible. They are great with the kids. We really enjoyed the Japanese and the steak house a la carte. The service was amazing. This was my 3Rd time to this resort and I will continue to keep coming back again and again

The resort is very clean and staff was very friendly. Food was great. ...cons..charges $6us dollars a day for safe. .Internet in lobby only unless you want to pay 80 dollars. .They charge $6 extra for a shot of bailey's .The theater is outside so if raining nothing to do.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Will be recommending

Went with two of my adult children and wife. We had a good experience. I have requested two ocean view rooms beside in block 18 before I leave through my agent. Got it and had nice view. Food is very good - specially we like spicy food. They could have more sea foods like fish, crabs etc... . Nice music - as I like Bob Marley. Went to Caribbean islands earlier few times, same resort in Punta Cana. Went out for Donn river fall climbing, enjoyed. Will be recommending

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Large resort

stayed the week of oct 14, 2017. It is a very large property where shuttle busses will pick you up or you can walk to your room and t the lobby.. Beach was nice but ocean had some large coral that you must manoeuvre around in order to swim. Many loungers and lots of shade if preferred. Food at buffet has wide selection of items but it tended to be repetitious nightly. The alacarte restaurants were very nice. The mini fridge was stocked daily but the temperature of the mini fridge was very warm. The door of the room was operated by a swipe card which I had many problems with getting in. It seemed everyone I spoke to had the same issues with their doors. This was quite frustrating. Grounds were nicely manicured . Although I did have a good time, I would not travel back to this hotel.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: A big disappointment

Our experience was a big disappointment, went we got to our hotel room not very long we see roaches crawling on the floor and in the bathroom,we went and ask for a room change, and our West jet rep karen, got us the room change the next day.went to the new room, only to find for the rest of our stayed the air condition didn't work properly,our jetted tub didn't work we had to bee asking for wash clothes every day seen we got to the hotel.some of the staff was not friendly. The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Amazing

Hotel was wonderful,their is not a bad view as you can see water from all directions , we had a view of the bay on the elevator side . Food was just average and there is premier liquor but you have to pay for it , this is the first for us. The grounds where beautiful, and the pool was wonderful. The animation team was the best . They would take time to get to know you , and always smiling. Thank you Alex , Caroline , Sexy, Edwardo, Amanda and the rest of the team .

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: A Great Time!

A beautiful resort with well kept beaches and gorgeous accommodations. Food is good and all attempts are made to avoid any buffet boredom. A la carte choices were varied and easy to book into. With several minor exceptions service was excellent and all staff were friendly and courteous. We would definitely consider going back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Bahia Principle Akumal

Everything was so good! The staff are amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Room service was quick! All meals were to die for and the decorations were a beautiful added touch. The pool areas were so clean and the staff at the pools were fantastic. The rooms were very spacious and always cleaned. The grounds were amazing, everything so neat and tidy. " Awesome facility"!

Cayo Levantado Resort: We LOVED it!!

This is a top-notch resort in an absolutely breath-taking location! Our room was upgraded to a superior junior suite with an ocean view as it was my birthday. There was a birthday banner on the door and a bottle of champagne and chocolates inside. The island is not very big so everything is conveniently located, plus there are golf carts at your service 24 hours if you don't wish to walk. We were thrilled that there are 2 beaches! One with boisterous rolling waves, the other calm turquoise wat [... read more]er and golden sand. The main pool is also right by the beach, as is the lunch buffet. All our reservations for the 4 a la cartes were already taken care of for us when we arrived. The staff are kind, helpful and cheerful. We wished we could have stayed longer!!

Cayo Levantado Resort: It was the best vacation my husband and I had in a long time, if ever.

This was the third trip to the Dominican Republic, Each time we choose the Bahia Principe, but the Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado is the best of all. We were a little hesitant, because we are both 84 years old and it is pretty hilly and curvy. But we had no problem at all. Transportation from our Beach Villa to where ever we wanted to go, was available in minutes.Our butler Jose did everything for us to make our stay memorable.At the buffet, service was excellent, the girls and guys were always  [... read more]smiling and very helpful. We went to the ala Cart restaurants, also every waiter was friendly and helpful. Mr. Manaury who served us at the Medeteranian, also at the Portofino will be for ever unforgettable. About the food, in my opinion, is equally good at the buffet, as it is in the a la cart restaurants. The only different is, at the buffet you have more choices. The matress and pillows were very good, no problem with sleeping. Liza the young woman at the reservation desk for the a la cart restaurants. was outstanding for us, we had many conversations with her, she always took time to answer many questions we had. She has a very nice personality. We also met very nice people, like Mary and Chris, also Kim and Darryl, we will keep contact with them after our return.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great Resort

Just returned from another great vacation at our favorite resort. Everything was great food ,room,pools,ocean,. We will be returning again in February for two weeks and can't wait. This will be our 7 th time at the Esmeralda . This was the first time we have gone at this time of year and it was extremely hot . But still great!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amber Blue Old rundown disappointing

Hydro goes out, Tv does not work, air conditioning did not work properly, room was beat up run down, smells of mold, beach was nice, food was good. We changed ROOMS 3 times until we moved to Amber green which was better but not 5 star. Resort was huge staff did not know where shows were difficult to find. Shuttles to beach or restaurants were not always available as they would only take you to certain areas we met at least 10 other travelers that had trouble as well. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Terrific Resort!!

We stayed for a week at the Grand Bahia Princioe Jamaica!! It was amazing! The service was stellar! The food and beverages were great! We loved the restaurants. We had a really fantastic time!! We were taken very good care of by our travel Two and given really good information in the excursions that are available!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Some hiccups but overall a great resort

Bavaro was a huge place and very well kept, the pools were amazing the food and drinks were great especially the Italian al a carte. The people very friendly and the beach very clean all things considering (aftermath of Maria we assume?) The Micheal Jackson Show was out of this world!!! It's as if you saw a real MJ Concert. Recommend the Dune Buggy (Boogie), the Safari and Zip Line excersions, they were GREAT!!! We Canadians like to party until the wee hours of the morning at least until 1 or 2 am LOL. And the Big one was that we had to pay (one or the other?) $24 or $28 US each room for our safe. We've never had to pay for a safe in our room ANYWHERE. Watch out for the Jelly Fish at the beach. My son was stung by one and it hurt real bad. We found out a lot of people suffered the same fate but urine, vinegar or making it to the First Aid Station on the beach soon cured my son of his hurt. When we got there we we'nt told of the trolley system that would take us from the front lobby to our rooms and else where around the Resort, would of been nice to know instead of running around trying to find our Room the first night. And men, remember they won't let you in the Dinner Buffet unless you are wearing a T-Shirt or Dress Shirt, NO MUSCLE SHIRT!! WE found out the hard way. All in all we had some hiccups but it was a Great Resort none the less.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: not bad

Resort was nice! Rooms were nice! Only problem was check in. It was unorganized and took way too long. Also had to pay for wifi because the one in the lobby don't work. Food was good at the a la cartes. The staff are very friendly. Overall I would recommend the grand bahia principe coba. I've stayed at a lot of places and none was as good as this. And If you are bringing children this is a perfect resort it's clean and they were very friendly to my children.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort

The resort is great, food is excellent, waiters and waitresses were awesome, pool and beach is beautiful, pool entertainers were fantastic. The grounds are well kept. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the entertainment in the lobby finished at 10:30pm every night and the bar in the lobby closed at 11:00 pm every night, so if you wanted later entertainment you had to go to the other resorts and the staff isn't able to print off schedules of what is going on at the other resorts.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good not Great Resort

The room was nice, the pool was good and the drinks even better. But the overall service was not the best except for the cleaning lady for the room and some of the restaurant servers. I also had a bad experience with one of the internal transports as I was almost thrown off. The driver started pulling off before I got seated. Also my family felt that we were treated poorly in some areas because of the colour of our skin.

Cayo Levantado Resort: EXTRAORDINARY – You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I went to the Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado from Oct. 9 – 16th. We loved it! From the very minute we walked onto the shuttle bus to transport us to the Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado hotel lobby, before boarding the boat to take us to the island, right down to the very minute when we had to leave the island to come home, we were treated like royalty. On the shuttle ride, our Air Canada Vacations representative did hotel introductions and information session on t [... read more]he bus. This was a brilliant idea, so that none of the guests aboard the bus had to miss anytime away from their vacation the next day meeting the rep – we all got to enjoy the islands beauty. Anytime you needed the Air Canada Vacations representative they were always accessible – He was very funny too! Upon arrival by boat at the hotel’s pier, we were greeted by the hotel staff’s genuine smiles, heartfelt welcome hello’s and warm towels to clean our hands. We were then guided to the buffet to get a bite to eat – this is a hotel that knows how to please their guests. Our boat arrived at 10:30 PM, the buffet closes at 10:00 PM every evening to all guests, and the hotel re-opened the buffet for the entire Air Canada Vacations group that had arrived. There was room service offered, but having freshly cooked food ready was an excellent touch especially from a long day of travel. The food throughout our stay was never a disappointment, always fresh and delicious. Our room was stunningly beautiful, very clean with outstanding views of the Samana peninsula. The hotel staff checked in on us a few times to see if we were ok and if we needed anything – you can see that they really care about their guests! The grounds men work very hard to keep the hotel and the lush surroundings in its highest shape. Restrooms, pool areas lobby and restaurants were clean, floors gleamed with shine! The wait staff are always pleasant and remember your coffee order  If there was one area of the hotel I had to provide feedback on would be the gym - It’s very small and only has a universal workout machine. Although my husband and I had brought our gear to workout, let’s face it our bodies needed a little rest and recovery and this was place for it!!! This resort is a 5-star in our eyes. I can’t wait until we visit Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado again. It’s unquestionably worth the trip!
