Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Mixed Feelings

I knew the resort was big when I booked it; but found it is not the kind of resort for me. I didn’t like having to take the trolley around. The grounds and rooms are very well kept. The service was poor and there is a language barrier.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Amazing trip

The hotel was wonderful with beautiful trees,pools around the hotel.Delicious buffet and very humble services.It was my first experience at resort and we had lots of fun.Me and my family enjoyed the buffet and shops at the resort.Kids enjoyed playing at the pool.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Not quite what I expected.

The hotel and property were very pleasing to the eye being very sprawling with a beautiful beach and having several wonderful pools. The evening entertainment was well done and the buffet never disappointed. The room while being spacious really needed some upgrading and/or maintenance. While I was showering the entire shower component fell off the wall and nearly impaled me in the tub. The AC was never sufficient to cool the room enough and the lightbulbs in the room were so dim that it was i [... read more]mpossible to read there in the evening or any time for that matter. The biggest problem, however, was BUGS. I am not sure if there were bedbugs, or if it was some other insect lurking around, but I got massive bites which necessitated a trip to my doctor upon my return home. This put a large damper on my holiday and I would never trust returning to this resort a second time.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Fabulous vacation!

We had a fabulous stay at the Barcelo bravo palace! We loved snorkelling in the turquoise water and relaxing on the white powder sand. It was the cleanest resort we’ve ever stayed at! Our favourite restaurant was the Japanese but we also enjoyed the steak and Mexican restaurant too! We will be back and definitely recommend this resort!!

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Amazing Resort !!

My wife and I spent seven nights at Chic resort.This was one of the best time we had /we travel twice a year to different places/. Food was just delicious,great variety/veggies, chicken, fish,lamb ,etc.etc./Four restaurants ala carte menu with no booking necessary. The service from the kitchen as it should be , fast ,no lineups and very professional.. Grand Palladium Palace: Great Vacation

This is a great resort. We travelled mid November. Our room 9209 was at the beach, close to the pool, the Secret Pool and the Lobby. These are family resorts but the Palace section was very quiet with very few children as the kids clubs are in the other sections. The Secret Pool is adults only. We had access to the Bavaro and Punta Cana sections which are larger. There were little trains or carts to take you anywhere on the resorts if you didn’t feel like walking. There were live maps a [... read more]t the lobby entrance that displayed where the trains were on the resort and how long your pickup would be so you could decide if you wanted to wait or walk. The food was great - lots of choice at the buffets and a la carte restaurants. I wasn’t impressed with the Spanish restaurant but I think it was because we didn’t understand the menu and didn’t order enough dishes, but what we ordered was very good. To be honest, we didn’t need anymore food as there is so much food everywhere! We were very pleased with the Steak House, Japanese, Indian, Italian, and Argentinian. There is a lovely little coffee area in the lobby with a wonderful assortment of cheesecakes and treats available all day. We had no trouble getting shady chairs any time of day at the pools or the beach. The beach was beautiful with no seaweed. The resort was spotless and the grounds beautiful. The staff were excellent! Always asking if we needed anything. The service was great!

Ocean El Faro: Awesome resort

Beautiful resort the staff is amazing grounds rooms restaurants very clean...definitely a 5 star the lazy river so much fun food very good lots of choices felt very safe there no issues with security at all

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Would definitely return!

This was my second time visiting grand Bahia and it will not be my last! Amazing staff, beautiful beaches and delicious food! Perfect vacation in every way. Make sure to book an a la carte dinner at the jap restaurant. It will blow your mind!

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Our stay in Punta Cana

Our stay in Punta Cana You said we stayed at breathless and we did not because we stayed at Impressive And we were very happy with it. Yes we would return because the service was great the ocean was great the beach was great and the food and wine were great.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Birthday celebration

The hotel is beautiful. The room was modern and clean. We loved our Butlers Livia and Horan. A nice touch by leaving a birthday cake and champagne in our room. Nice selection of restaurants loved Meat and Italian. Right on the ocean. The coffee shop was excellent.

Ocean El Faro: Very disappointed

We stayed at the Ocean El Faro November 10 - November 17, 2019. Being in the low season they alternately closed a few restaurants every night and the casino was closed for the whole week. We were tricked in attending a timeshare meeting being told that it wasn't timeshare but rather for us to visit the privilege rooms and learn more about the privilege benefits. We were also told that it would only be an hour long. After three hours of them trying to sell us their privilege package I got s [... read more]o frustrated that I literally walked out on them saying that we weren't interested in their offer. They should be able to take NO for an answer. The beach is not the best. It has a lot of rocks which makes it very hard to go for a swim. However, the standard rooms are very nice and we just loved the Lazy River. The house wine was terrible.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful resort

Great location. Beautiful sand beaches with lots of spots to relax. Water was perfect temperature for swimming. Restaurant and bar close by beach which was nice. It was a bit of a walk from our room to the beach which was good for us. Others less mobile can easily take the shuttle. Restaurants and service were excellent.golf course was a pleasure to play although the 50 pp for a cart was a little high.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Awesome resort

The resort was maintained very well. Lots of variety of food to eat. Many different activities to do during the day. You didn't need to leave the resort. The beach was very beautiful and the pool well kept. The only thing I would complain about is having too many vendors that were in the restaurant area for the small space. They were very pushy and all the tables had the same items. Overall, a very good place to go.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Amazing solo trip!

From the moment you get on the property it looks so beautiful. I opted to upgrade my room and had a beautiful ocean view and was right by all the action (main pool). The hospitality from all the staff was exceptional and they had great entertainment each night. The food options were good but I wish they had more options on the resort. Last but not least the beach area was maintained which was very nice, not a lot of seaweed. Overall this trip was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Majestic Colonial. Amazing Resort

This was our 6th stay at the Majestic Resorts and the 3rd time in the Colonial. We chose the club and were thoroughly pleased. Thanks to Yefferson and Edwin who took such care to make our vacation memorable. The restaurants offered great selections to choose from and if you wanted a casual evening the buffet never disappointed. Everyone in the hotel went above and beyond to make sure your needs were met. The rooms are spacious and kept spotless by the maid service. The waiters and bartender [... read more]s are friendly and welcoming. The beach was outstanding and we never had any issue finding lounge chairs. We will definitely be returning.

Secrets Royal Beach: Great week at Secrets Cap Cana

This resort was 5 star all the way. From the amazing service to the fantastic food to the clean gorgeous rooms. We had a great week. It's the only resort that I have ever been to that I would say I would 100% go back to.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Majestic Mirage is our home away from home!

This was our second stay at Majestic Mirage, having stayed the same week last year, and we were even more impressed this time! Jacobs met us on the front steps of the resort and made check in a breeze. We were in our room and on the beach literally a half hour after stepping off the bus. Jacobs made himself available to us at all times so that we could take full advantage of our week in the sun without having to worry about the details. Our absolute favourite spots on the property: 1) the sports bar, where we were able to enjoy Sunday football, billiards, great music, and pub-style eats in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere; 2) the coffee shop in the main square, where we opted for a specialty coffee each night in lieu of dessert (the best Spanish coffees ever!); 3) the beach buffet, which had a bit of everything, and then some - very easy to eat healthy this week with the choice of delicious salads at lunch, and wonderful steak and seafood at this restaurant for 3 of our nights; 4) THE BEACH!!!, stunning and always well-maintained; 5) the martini bar, just outside the Italian restaurant - so delicious and a really nice touch; 6) the Japanese restaurant is a must-do - entertaining and tasty; 7) the Mirage Club swim-up bar was a nice, shady place to spend happy hour and get chatting with other guests. 8) The Dominican Night - wow, we were so impressed with the food, dance, costumes, and music...and enjoyed the Mama Juana very much! We would highly recommend Punta Cana, Majestic Mirage, and our butler, Jose Jacobs, who we can't say enough good things about. Please go to this resort and see for yourself!

Riu Republica: Amazing resort

This hotel was very very very nice. From the welcoming to the service of the friendly and amazing staff I can say I will be back. The restaurants and buffet were very catering to the needs of the clients. Food also stocked, freshed and well seasoned. Im glad i made the choice to come to this country and stay at this Riu.

Riu Republica: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful resort, everything was always super clean. Well air conditioned. Nothing ever sat on tables too long at restaurants they were very quick to clear plates off for the next guest to sit down!!!
