Samsara Cliff Hotel: Simple and quiet

Very clean and quiet, no evening entertainment bar closes at 10pm. People were very friendly and willing to help if asked. Cliff jumping and snorkelling were fun.Food could use some additional variety but was simple and edible.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Girlfriend's Trip

I enjoyed this resort. Restaurants were fantastic. People are friendly , room's were nice and very clean. Myself and 3 girlfriends had a blast. Only complaint is with wifi, it should be included and available everywhere. Also unlimited calls to Canada would be great as well.

Sunset Beach Resort and Spa: GO TO ANOTHER RESORT

No locks for in room safes lots of issue with towels for room never all there maid wanted to clean our room after 5 pm almost every day food just ok nothing special a 3 star hotel trying to charge a four star price

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fantastic resort

The resort and staff were fantastic. The weather was unfortunately poor but the ambience made up for it. The ocean requires water shoes as it is somewhat rocky. The villa we were in had been recently renovated.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: great trip!

overall, a great time. rooms and grounds were clean. Food was great. lovely spot. It took longer to get to the resort than we expected. we had a couple of issues, but they were pretty quickly dealt with.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great adult only resort

Everything was more than we expected. Never a dull moment,news letter every day rooms food beach , service was excellent. The grounds were cleaned every day. A good variety of tours and excursions for everyone.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Loved this resort.

The Sea Garden Beach Resort was everything that we wanted. The food was plentiful and there was lots of choice. The standard room was very large and the housekeeping staff kept it very clean. The pool area was great with plenty of lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs. The beach was amazing. There were different areas which were man made and there were also areas where we were able to snorkel. All in all, it was a great holiday.

Beachcomber Club: Run down / more food needed

We were upgraded to the two bedroom apartment size and that was good for us. No choice in food and when I say no choice there was 5 things for meals dinner and supper 1 soup and lettuce and tomatoe for salad and two deserts. Place is clean but run down and no drinks to pick from. Beach is beautiful but too many people selling everything you can imagine while you are trying to relax ( just bugging all the time ) workers were friendly and helpful. Would never stay there again.

Sunset Beach Resort and Spa: Great Family Vacation

the only negative part of our trip was the lack of attention of the front desk to our questions and needs, other then that, food was good, rooms were clean, and the entertainment team is awesome. we will go back for sure.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Nice family resort

The resort was pretty much as expected. Clean rooms, reasonable food. The beach is great with lots of little bays and the island is nice for families, as there is shallow water between the mainland and the island. Adults only area is great, although it would have been nice if they'd make exceptions for families like ours (my husband and I are in our 50s, our daughters are in late teens/early 20s and our son is 15). They wouldn't let our son use the adult only area with us. Seemed a bit strict, g [... read more]iven he wasn't running around screaming like a 10 year old. Staff were ok. No one went above and beyond. Didn't like the extra charges (Japanese and additional menu at Seafood restaurant). Booking a la cartes was a hassle (needed to book a day ahead and often little choice). A la carte restaurants were good though. Pub was nice but singer pretty bad on the piano!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Short trip but amazing staff

Front Desk people need to improve on people skill and smile , the rest of the Staff were amazing, just my Son and i went for only 4 days to strictly play golf and thanks to Laura Spry from trip central organizing this trip on a very short notice (2 days) took some amazing pics , showed them to my wife and now we are planning our next trip here. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

The Bahia Principe Resort at Runaway Bay has a variety of beaches and restaurants, with a huge pool area and 2 swim up bars. The room was spacious with a lovely view of the Caribbean. The a la carte restaurants had great service.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Terrific Resort, Friendly Staff, Great Food

This resort is very clean, rooms very nice. It is an adults only so quieter than the Rui next door (we stayed there last April). We travel a lot and have to say this resort is terrific. The staff are eager to help, super friendly, food is tasty and plentiful. No issues booking a la carts. Other reviews mentioned the construction noise next door which is done now/addition to the Rui Palace is now open. There was construction when we were there a few weeks ago but not worth mentioning. If you want a nice relaxing vacation or want to party it up, this is the resort for you!

Riu Ocho Rios: Nice resort!

Second time to this hotel, first time was fabulous. Second time checked in to adults only section only to find out when I arrived that they don't have adults only anymore. The food is great, entertainment is a little of the same thing every night. Rooms were clean.

Sandals Dunn's River: Most outstanding resort

I have to say it was one of the most beautiful clean and wonderful places to go...The resort staff is fantastic...friendly and very helpful..They run and do everything for you and always with a smile or joke to go along with it...The sun wing hostess at the resort was so amazing and fun...She made this trip so much easier with all her help and explaining how things are done...The nurse was also very friendly wonderful and again fun to have to go see...

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Gran Bahia Jamaica

We enjoyed our trip immensely. Upon our arrival there was a strong smell of cleaning solvent. Due to my wife's allergy they moved us to another room. The trip went well until our departure when the aircraft was having mechanical problems, therefore it was cancelled. We were all placed in different accommodations. Dreams Rose Hall: Great resort!

Near perfection, just a fee minor imperfections. From check in to check out, you are looked after by courteus and friendly employees. The ala cartes are really well run with great food The bars have plenty yummy suggested drinks and the staff really enjoy their jobs.

Sunset at the Palms: Great small resort

This is a beautiful small resort. The service is very good, the rooms are updated and clean and the grounds are well kept. The food was OK, it could use a bit more variety such as seafood (no lobster was offered). We were treated to a BBQ on the beach complete with bonfire and a live band one night. I would say the only downsides are having to cross a busy road to go to the beach, getting constantly hassled while waking on the beach and the resort's treatment of one particular couple as VIP and  [... read more]no one else on the resort while we were there. It made everyone, including us, a bit uncomfortable. Overall, this is great small resort.

Sandals Dunn's River: Beautiful resort

All facilities were kept very clean. Public washrooms were very nice and clean. Our room was older but also very clean. Could of had a little more variety of night entertainment. Smaller resort but qite quaint. Very close to many excursions. All and all was a great time!!

Sunset at the Palms: Small and intimate resort - great staff.

Rooms were spacious, private and beautiful balconies to relax on. Grounds were always kept clean. The walk across the road to the beach was not an issue - a short walk. Beach was beautiful, kept clean, beach staff were always helpful. Beach grill was fabulous for lunchtime meal - lots of choices. The sand flies were the only negative point of this beach/resort. The staff realizes this is an issue and willing to give you cream for those awful itchy bites!
