Grand Palladium Jamaica: Many amenities and restaurants

Their are many restaurants to choose from provided you are a party of four or less people. The food was excellent except the buffet, it was just okay. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The housekeeping staff are top notch. Appreciated the coffee bar, excellent coffee and pastries. The wait staff in the Al a carte restaurants were great. The spa is amazing. Front desk staff were very helpful. Guest services was difficult to reach at times and not enough staff. The bell man were prompt and courteous.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fun Resort

Was there December, 13, it's a fun resort pros- Staff are very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Food- restaurants are good, jerk chicken by the pool and down at the beach awesome, buffet just ok can improve on the food and more choices. Entertainment from the pool to the theater was great the sports bar is a great place to unwind and the terrace as well good music to relax to. Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Pretty good resort

Beautiful inside the lobby at the Ziva. A little dated on the outside which was being scraped and painted while we were there. The grounds were being worked on also. I love that the landscape was natural. Our section of the Zilara was very dated and needed a little loving care. The room was very clean. Housekeeping was wonderful and the fridge was stocked and snacks provided every day. Most of the staff were friendly. Some didn't seem too happy to be working there. I would put this hotel as a 4, not a 5,just because it needs some tender loving care.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nothing to write home about

If you have not been to an all inclusive before then this place may not disappoint. However, if you have previous experiences of an inclusive then you may be disappointed - limited beach, sub par nightly entertainment, and staff willingness to support while on vacation is sub par. Also, important to be aware that locals are able to purchase day passes to access the resort and they lack the social awareness and were very rude to other guests in the resort. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not What I Remember

I was here back in 2017 and while the food was ok it doesn’t hold up against the Riu chains. Beaches were decent with the exception of whatever kept “bumping” us in the water. Didn’t hurt just kind of startled you. Locals said it was baby stingrays. But didn’t see them Room appeared clean and nice but infested with cockroaches. They sprayed for us but within 4 days they were back again. This made living in the room and packing up extremely concerning.

Riu Montego Bay: Best time

We had 6 people in our travel party to celebrate two 60th birthdays. All of us had a fantastic stay with no complaints. The food including the buffet was top notch. Going into the water at the beach was a bit of a challenge as there were many large pot hole type drop offs every few feet when walking in the water. There are no golf carts to bring you around the resort so expect to get your steps in which actually pays off since the food and drinks is so good. Riu Palace Aquarelle: Great all around resort

The resort is very family or adult friendly. There was great entertainment for all ages. The children pool for our 2 yr old granddaughter was perfect with appropriate water slides and entertainment. The large waterslide park was great for the older kids in our group. OK maybe I was in their too.lol All pools and beach areas were well monitored by lifeguards and staff. The staff were all helpful, happy and fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food in the buffet was great. We enjoyed the buffet so much that we never had to go to the specialty restaurants for change.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: So so resort

The staff tries their best to give their guests the best experience. The food was good, however it was very repetitive. Going to Jamaica, you’d expect more traditional cuisine than there was North American cuisine. I found that very disappointing. Also, accessibility for elderly or disabled could be a bit challenging to navigate around. There is a lot of steps and bridges around the pool area. I didn’t expect the Luxury to be a seniors home… the facade is also crumbling. Some much needed repairs and renovations would be necessary to keep clients coming back as there are many resorts along Montego Bay. There is absolutely no beach at all on the Luxury side. A 10 min walk would need to be made to access the beach on The neighbouring Grand Bahia. I’d give this resort a 6.5 out of 10 and that’s mainly bc of the bar staff and restaurant workers.

Princess Senses the Mangrove: Out of this world!!

We just came back from what I can only describe as the true heaven on earth, not only does this resort have all the amenities you can imagine, but the staff here are like the family you never had! The semicircular beach here is very secluded, unlike other resorts, no one is trying to sell you antiques or weed here, the only thing that could possibly disturb your beach nap is your inner cravings for more food. The rooms: every room in this resort is ocean facing, the resort is uniquely designed to accommodate the very best options for every guest, it’s so spacious, clean, and cozy at the same time. We were assigned to Pierre and Questos who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, those two gave us a royalty treatment like no other… Let’s go grab lunch, a minute later, Pierre appears with a lunch tray filled with everything your heart desires, I’m craving cornflakes, super Questos knocks on the door with my favorite choices, every minute of everyday they were one step ahead of us, and the beauty of it is that we didn’t even ask! The Family: It’s true what they say about Jamaica « No problem, only situation »… everyone’s happy and they all work together to make you feel like you belong. From the moment you show up, you are welcomed home. We’ve never met so many happy people at the same time in our lives, but aside from our butlers, we wanna thank Carline, Jenoy and Tashana from the Platinum club, Chuddian from the coffee shop, Garry from the gym, chef Oshaine, Romain, and Deneil from Robet’s flame steakhouse, that meal was insanely good, but I never expected to fall in love with the dessert that comes after more than a piece of steak. Chef Carlington from the Teppanyaki place gave us the most delicious food show in Jamaican style, I’ve never had Teppanyaki before, it was love at first sight! And if you wanna spend a night like no other go to the Blue Note Piano bar at 8:00PM, you’ll meet Wadworth, the sweetest bartender in Jamaica, and if you’re lucky you might cross paths with the greatest Pianist/Musician you’ll ever encounter, Jae javauhm, I honestly don’t know how he’s not international yet! This guy is gonna become Jamaica’s next hit, don’t miss his show! There’s just so many people that we cannot do them justice by one review, there was not one person that we met who didn’t go above and beyond for us, so thank you all. This place is just another luxurious resort, but only with the amazing family there it becomes JAMAZING!! We just wanna go live there!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Great place to stay

Great resort to spend some relaxing in the sun. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was great and lots of choices for everyone's tastes. The entertainment was awesome. Lots of chairs at the beach and the watersports team was fantastic especially Delmart, loved the catermaran ride! Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were very accommodating. All the staff worked hard to make your stay enjoyable. Ps your photo does not match the resort we stayed at? .

Couples Swept Away: Very Good Resort, except the internet

All was amazing, especially the beach and fine sand and crystal clean water with beautiful light blue color. The room was comfortable and specious with a tropical garden view. food, less variety than 5 years ago, but still very good. One thing that did not work was the internet, constantly not connecting. We complained to the front desk on the third day, but no one came forward to even investigate, so we were without the internet most of the time during the 7 days we stayed.

Riu Palace Aquarelle: RIU Aquarelle Oalace

The hotel was clean and so were the grounds. Friendly, helpful staff. I found the floors inside the hotel were slippery. No matter what type of shoes you wore; flip flops, sneakers. The food was very good and something for everyone’s taste. There was one night, Thursday with the Latin dancers which was disappointing.

Riu Montego Bay: The resort itself was Ok

The beach was terrible. In the ocean the sand was mushy. Not nice. Check in was at 11 am, we new our room would not be ready until 3. we waited until 4:30 and no one contacted us. We went to the lobby and stood in line for 1 hour . They changed 3 out of the 4 rooms we had as they said they were not ready. No beer in our room every day. No coffee in the room everyday. No toilet paper. Hairdryer wasn't working , they came and fixed it but left the screws and garbage on the floor. You cant even smoke on your balcony at your room. No golf carts to take your luggage to your room. No consistency between the rooms. No lighting in the hallway. Ala cart Sophia we booked online for 5 people. When we arrived we got such a hassle said it was for only 2 people. We finally got in and had to wait for over 1 hour before our food showed up. Food in general is good. Wait staff are great. So happy that at the buffet all the foods are labeled for people with gluten allergies.

The hotel is very nice, great beach!!!, the staff is wonderful. The 2 a la carte restaurants that need reservations are good but the process for making the reservations really needs to be improved. It was very difficult to make reservations and to get a time that was acceptable. We were there for 2 weeks and could only get a reservation twice in the one restaurant. Also, leaving for the airport we had to be picked up 5.5 hours before our flight when the trip to the airport was only 1.5 hours [... read more]. This was a bit too early and could have spent more time at the resort before leaving. Overall the trip was lovely and we had a great time but it could have been improved in some areas.

Friendly, clean and helpful resort. For an adult resort it was pretty quite and reserved. Daytime Entertainment team was excellent Food was great, big variety Paid for gardenview room but was given the lowest rated room as they did not have anything available unless I pay 35.00 per night ??

Dreams Rose Hall: Not impressed

I would unfortunately not return to this hotel. Sunwing provided me with a room that faced a construction site, there were always five men outside of my balcony working so I did not get to use it comfortably. The bathroom was dated and did not even have a bathroom fan. The first day I entered the resort I was guilted into attending a meeting that took 3.5 hours away of my Vacation time. They were asking my family to invest 40k this week into the hotel. The food was hit or miss. There was garbage [... read more] and seaweed all over the sand of the beach area ( no one cleaned it, I saw the same garbage for the entire week) and the beach itself was filled with gross seaweed touching your legs and feet. They also have a sign suggesting people wear water shoes and they have sea urchins. Some areas of the hotel are freezing and yet I heard everyone say their air conditioning doesn’t work at night (including mine) Not sure what’s going on there. The accessibility rooms do not have a walk in shower you still need someone to lift you into a tub. There were pilllows randomly around the hotel due to leaks and paying an additional $40 usd to attend the three palms restaurant was not worth it and should have been included at no extra cost. On the bright side, the staff are wonderful. Simply amazing.

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Home away from home

This was my third time staying at Samsara . They make you feel very welcome there. As a returning guest ,they had upgrade my room to next to the ocean which was so lovely. Many of the staff remember me from before. Loved the food and drinks. Cant beat fresh fish.I loved seeing the new addition to the resort and the new pool was wonderful.This is a fairly small resort so you get to know the staff and other guest. I made friends there 5 years ago and we all met there again. Its great they have a s [... read more]huttle to take you to the beach at there sister resort. I had a great time and would return! I highly recommend this place.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing resort

The hotel and surrounding was very nice the ambiance was relaxing , the Christmas decorations was beautiful One thing is the floor in room seemed a bit we when the door was open I think it was humidity in air I expected some more Caribbean dishes , like sweet potato and cassava and some Jamaican soups

The resort was great. Staff amazing and the food was good. Only a few minor minor things. Would have liked for them to give me my luggage. I only had carry on but had to wait 20 mins for them to bring it to the room. More hand soap dispensers are needed in public restrooms. The beach area is to shallow, wish it was deeper.
