Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Amazing vacation at Melia Nassau.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely four day getaway to this resort. We loved everything about it. Beach and ocean were amazing. Can’t wait to return to the Bahamas and this resort! The staff were very lovely. The restaurants, food and grounds were amazing. Thanks!!

The hotel was clean and well kept. Housekeepers were seen daily cleaning ( could smell the cleaning products in the air). Staff on the resort were very friendly. Check in was well organized , no hassle , no confusion. Hotel had positive vibes!!! Beach was amazing and of course all my travel crew made it the best birthday I could ever have. Riu Palace Paradise Island: great girls trip

amazing time. service was amazing. from food to bar to the initial encounter with the staff. 2nd time here and I was impressed. the renovations are beautiful. LG at the pool made it fun. travis for the beach towels. Ronney and the bar. jameel bar service made the best drinks and would send. a sever to the poolside for us. lets not begin to talk about the jerk pit. buffet was amazing. I would definately return.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Best service ever!

This hotel was beautiful, amazing photo landscapes. Food was wonderful and varied by day. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and super fun. Definitely returning. Staff were able to answer questions and went above and beyond to clarify any questions. The hotel was clean and public spaces were maintained. Entertainment team were very fun and engaging. I tried activities I have always ignored at other hotels and had a blast!!!!

Warwick Paradise Island: It was ok

I have stayed at other resorts on Paradise Island. The Warwick is difficult to get food and drink service. You need to book a time to eat. The buffet is closed some evenings. The service and overall experience is much better at RIU

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Very nice resort!

Enjoyable stay, amazing beach, great staff, food and drinks. Yes, there is some renovation work happening, but that did not affect my stay. Just wish night activities and entertainment would go past 12 p.m. - was a bit disappointed by that. Hope to be back soon!

Warwick Paradise Island: Great Resort

Great hotel, staff, and food! It's a smaller hotel but we didn't miss out on anything. Cabbage Beach was amazing and the hotel has shuttle service and accommodations set up on the beach for their guests( chairs, beverages, towels and lunch). Atlantis Casino is a 5 min walk and the $4 ferry ride downtown was a 8 min walk from the hotel. There were daily activities planned throughout the day and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We met several people who have been coming to this hotel for 15+ years and they had nothing but great things to say about the staff and service.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great stay

Enjoyed our vacation at the Melia great resort everything is close and beach is beautiful needs alittle more night entertainment. Staff is very friendly. Resort is very clean and has great food. Mexican restaurant was amazing food buffet also has great variety everyday. Mini fridge in the room is always restocked and rooms are nice. Resort should have activities on the beach to keep people entertained.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great value

Nicely refurbished hotel. Ocean view room had an obstructed view overlooking rooftop and air conditioning (which we paid extra for). Food was very good and premium liquor was served. Lobby smells of sewage. Pools clean and well Maintained and excellent swim up bar service. Beach was amazing. Overall great value but probably not 5 star in my opinion.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Sandals Exuma, Emerald Bay

When compared to other 5-star adults only, all-inclusive resorts, Sandals is on par with respect to the hotel itself: service, accommodations, food and amenities. Although there were more vegetarian options than others, but no turkey options for those that do not eat pork, i.e. turkey sausage and bacon. The only but major disappointment was that the beach was a mess. Sandals is not maintaining the pristine sands of Emerald Bay and it was littered with plastic. We did our best to clean up everyda [... read more]y, but you would need a crew and wheel barrels to make a difference. Also, I have no idea why they are still serving drinks with straws, even on the beach, which just exacerbates the issue. We went to this resort because of the beach and to swim with the pigs. While we went to the pig beach where the animals are supposed to be better taken care of (more ethical), there is no management in place. What I mean is, this is not a pig sanctuary where there are specific rules on how to engage with them. These are wild animals that need to be respected and protected. They are massive and someone could get hurt, especially small children. I can’t believe Exuma hasn’t done a better job of protecting their two greatest attractions - the beaches and the pigs.

The Royal at Atlantis: Great Ammenities

Atlantis is an excellent resort all around . great food options, beach access, friendly staff and an abbundance of activities - will keep any traveller occupied during their stay. Located within a five minute drive from downtown naussau, those who wish to go off resort can do so with ease .

Breezes Bahamas: Great value!

A good, solid resort for a bargain price. Not as flashy as some othe other Nassau resorts. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Food was decent. Staff was friendly. Beach is excellent. Pools are well maintained. Certainly not the best resort on the island, but possibly the best value. Minor complaints. A problem with an elevator took a couple days to repair. Very close to the new Baha Mar casino.. a free shuttle comes every 15 minutes. The Casino is beautiful place to visit!

Sandals Emerald Bay: Paradise on earth

From the moment we arrive at the airport we were taken care of. A luxurious suv picked us up immediately and drove us a mere 10 mins to this resort which took our breath away! We were greeted by the manager and staff waving at us as we pulled up to the front door. The entire stay we were always greeted with Hello, regardless of who the employee was. Magnificent! Took our breath away!!!!! Plenty of loungers with shade and tables. The pools are capivating. Especially at night. We loved the fire pits throughout and how the pools are lit. This hotel is truly a 6 star. Even the washrooms outside of the rooms in the common areas are clean and spectacular. The food!!!!! Oh the food! I personally gained 10 pounds in a week because I indulged in everything. It was so fabulous. We have never eaten such amazing meals before. Each restaurant was an amazing experience. We celebrated our 25th anniversary and it was a trip of a lifetime. Truly memorable and magical. Thanks Sandals! We will be back xoxo

Riu Palace Paradise Island: RIU Palace Paradise Island - Very small RIU

The resort was very small pool and beach area crowded. Not the same quality of most RIU's. No drink service on the beach. No snacks or wine in the room. No reservations to be made for a la carte - First come first served. No guest suite to shower between mandatory check out and leaving the resort. Could not extend our room for the afternoon we had to check out at 12:00 when bus was only arriving at 6:30 to bring us to the airport. Beach area between public beach and Seadoo rentals. Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Hotel

My wife and I did a quick 4 night stay in late July. The resort was perfect. The rooms, service, food, and facilities are exactly what we expected. If you go on trip advisor and look at some of the well written, and well thought out reviews they will be bang on. Check in and out was very quick. The location was perfect along with the pools and beach.

Absolutely amazing place, went for the first weekend of August and had a great time!!! Any negative reviews you read about this resort are from people who are expecting too much, or from those who have had the occasional bad experience. We have travelled to many places throughout the Caribbean, always 4.5* or better and the Riu Palace holds up to all of them. Here's a honest rundown of what to expect on key items; Beach - Nicest beach I've ever seen in the world,truly amazing to walk on [... read more] that sand with the clearest water at your feet. Sure there's guys asking about jet skis, but before you can say "no thanks" they've already moved to the next person. DO NOT make any promises if you don't mean them,"maybe later" or "tomorrow" is a reason for them to come back to see. Just say no thanks and go back to enjoying the sun. Pools - Main pool is great and has a lot of shade and tons of seats. At 11am we could find a seat in the shade any day, so there's no need to run down at 6am to reserve a spot. The infinity pool is beautiful and has a swim-up bar, but its also where the party groups tend to migrate too and there is a lot of them. Everyday it seems to have another bridal party showing up, but it also offers great people watching opportunities. Bartenders are top shelf, and they don't go easy on the alcohol. Bring your own cups if needed, but the small 8onz one allow you to try more drinks and god did you 2 hands for a reason. Food - BEST buffet we've ever seen, food way always hot and plentiful. If you can't find something of your liking at this buffet then you really need to revaluate your expectations in travel. The restaurants are also nice, but don't stress trying to get into them as its really not worth it. The Indian was great and was not too exotic. Trust me, it was actually enjoyable. Jerk chicken was really good, but for anyone whose been to Jamaica, this doesn't compare. Its more of Charcoal chicken but its great and with the rice and a cold drink looking over the beach its probably a better lunch then you've had today.... Staff - They work really hard for your enjoyment and were great to deal with. Sway at the from Desk, LG from the Pool side and all the bar tenders need to thanked for their hard work ever single day, but you will not meet anyone who works harder then the older guys who does the beach chairs and umbrellas... Rooms - Their GREAT!!!! yes the mattresses are firm, but its cause their new. Great views, fabulous rainforest showers and a fully stocked bar fridge with Jim Beam, Smirnoff, Gin & Johnny Walker. And a fridge full of coke, ginger ale and Heineken. If you ever had any thoughts of going here, stop thinking and book it. The place is fabulous, and at the price you'll not find anything better!!

Really nice and clean hotel (except the hallways carpet:-( amazing food and drinks :-)) I recommend to everyone for the beautiful beach, swimming, snorkeling, food, accommodation, entertainment and dance events

The hotel was lovely... the people here are really friendly and provided an excellent tour. You can tell how proud the Bahamian are of their country. The beach was beautiful and there were many activities provided! My family ended up staying at the beach for 4-5 hours. It’s clear and beautiful! I hope to come back and visit.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great resort!

The hotel was extremely well maintained. Lobby and grounds were continually cleaned and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The dining options were very good. The only drawback for the à la carte restaurants was that you could not book seating in advance. Otherwise, a beautiful facility that I highly recommend!
